In this episode I feature a recent spoken word piece I recorded to document a peak erotic experience in the form of a tantradelic birthday party/ceremony that was organized for a dear beloved priestess. I introduce the piece with commentary that provides some background and offers a greater context for its political-ideological significance.
In this episode I have the pleasure and honor of exploring the deep and profound insights and experience of Reverend Goddess Charmaine of http://thesensuousmystic.com/. I was turned on to her work several years ago by a dear friend and while catching up on her online radio show archives I discovered that she boldly and bravely confronts the shadow of sexuality. It was a breath of fresh air to hear her empowered voice of sexual trauma survival and healing. I’m very grateful that she blessed my podcast by telling her personal story and sharing strength and solidarity with me as wounded healers who are ceaselessly healing.

About Reverend Goddess Charmaine:
Reverend Goddess Charmaine was ordained by the New Seminary, a school of interfaith theology in New York City. She is a trained Reiki Master, Crystal Reiki Master, certified hypnotherapist, trained aromatherapist, and tantric energy specialist. She primarily focuses her energy work through Shamanism, trained by Kenneth Ray Stubbs through the Path of the Sexual Shaman all levels.
She has led workshops in the tri-state area since 1992, and is continually increasing her work as a facilitator of personal empowerment through her workshops such as chakra intensives, Goddess Initiations, Second Sunday and Clothing Optional (Naked Church) Services, energetic Merge Ceremonies, and Tarot Readings online, Spirit and Erotic Spirit Circles and various others that continue to support empowerment and erotic enlightenment for all. Online and In Person.
Rev. Goddess has written two books, The Sensuous Mystic ~ Uniting Sex and Spirit and The Goddess Scrolls ~ Sacred Erotic Tales that inspire and enlighten along with her ongoing radio blogtalk show The Sensuous Mystic airing live most Wednesday nights at 8pm EST.
In July, 2000, in a primitive and intense ritual, she was initiated into Goddess-hood. From this ceremony, she realized that she’d been called to bring forth the unification of Sex and Spirit.
Her unique methods center on our natural ability to evolve by healing ourselves and others. With her guidance and assistance, one is lead through a series of letting-go processes. These experiences enable one to work through and leave behind a lifetime of fears and paralyzing self-doubt, to attain the position of strength and power that is rightfully their own within their Holy Bodies.
In this episode I’m joined by Kenneth Ray Stubbs PhD, one of the most distinguished and accomplished elders in the field of sacred sexuality and sexual shamanism. His no-nonsense approach to teaching the energetics of shamanic healing is very compelling. It was a blessing to be able to explore his unique perspectives and stock up on new highly effective practical, theoretical, and analytical tools that I haven’t found elsewhere in the field.
In 1975 Ray began teaching erotic massage to people of all sexual orientations in San Francisco. His 1989 Erotic Massage — the Touch of Love book was the first instructional book to illustrate genital massage and has sold over a million copies worldwide.
He has taught many somatic modalities and has written/created over a dozen books and DVDs on sacred sexuality including Women of the Light: The New Sacred Prostitute, Sacred Orgasms, and The Essential Tantra. He also co-created the 90-minute documentary The Sacred Prostitute and a recent documentary, Path of the Sexual Shaman: Teachings on Energy, Orgasm, and Wisdom. Ray is the former vice-president of the Association of Sexual Energy Professionals.
On a shamanic path for over two decades, Ray is a 13-year SunDancer and has been greatly influenced by Tibetan Buddhism.
Via Skype and the phone, he now gives individual sessions and trainings on energy, sexuality, shamanism, and transformation.

In this episode I am joined by Ayanna Mojica, a powerful priestess who has stepped up to hold space for dialog within the spiritual community about the tragic suicide of world-renown tantra teacher Psalm Isadora. I discovered her via a conference call she set up. I wasn’t able to join the call but I had a lot of emotion and concern about this incident and decided to invite Ayanna on the podcast to explore suicide prevention strategies and get deeper into this issue from a more tantric perspective. We honor Psalm by sharing our knowledge and experience of her works and her influence, and discuss ways we can all be more supportive of ourselves and each other as we continue our light works.

We discuss the how and why of semen retention and get into some edgy territory around female empowerment, spiritual sisterhood, and the ways men will need to “man up” on a new level to catch up with the rapid rate of sexual consciousness evolution among independent women who are claiming their power.

In this episode I’m joined by two dear and brave souls who participated in an epic experimental ceremony involving psychedelic goddess worship and tantric sexual shamanism. The three of us implemented a procedural design I had been developing over the course of several years. This was truly the peak experience of my lifetime thus far.
In this episode I am joined again by legendary journalist, shamanologist, and in my humble opinion the most important male voice in the global neo-shamanic revolution: Rak Razam! It was an exquisite joy and honor to have him hold space for me to lay out my thesis on tantra, shamanism, and the future of the adult entertainment industry. As a probing journalist and seasoned shamanic guide he facilitates a sapio-sexually charged journey that truly satisfies my desire to make a memorable episode “69″.

In this episode I am blessed to be joined by Jane Innmon who shares all about healing sexual trauma with flower essences. I’m so grateful to learn about this all natural, down-to-earth healing modality.
Please connect with Jane via here website at: http://www.sweetwaterhealingarts.com
For over twenty five years I have been studying and working with Flower Essences and Vibrational healing and have been fascinated by how effective the Essences are.
Joseph Rael ~ Beautiful Painted Arrow ~ has been one of my teachers since 2002. His teachings have helped me as I’ve guided the sweat lodges that were held at my home in Pennsylvania, as well as the lodge just completed at my new home in Tucson, Arizona.
My training also includes a year long bio-dynamic gardening Intensive at Chestnut Ridge NY and training for a year at Sound School in the Peace Chamber at Three Rivers Michigan, with Kay Ferry and Ruth Eichler.
Intuition and deep listening skills are honed by the Sun/Moon Dances I’ve attended since 2003 and the practice of meditation and Chanting in the newly created Sweet Beautiful Waters Peace Sound Chamber. I’ve also had the privilege of attending a Ten Moon Initiation facilitated by Nut Tmu-Ankh Butterfly Dreaming (2008) and advanced Diva Mentor Training (2010) as well as completing a Shʼti Mer Immersion with Nut Tmu-Ankh Butterfly Dreaming in 2011. These experiences and trainings prepare and guide me as I work with women to gently reclaim their power.
In this episode I’m joined by world renown tantric master and instructor Lawrence Lanoff. He shares his story of initiation into the loving arts at an early age and his life’s work to help unfuck the minds of individuals, couples, and modern western culture at large.
We weave a tapestry of glory and tragedy as we explore the light and shadow of sexuality education, religion, pornography, and neo-tantra. He helps distill the core values and truths humanity will need to agree on to one day establish a universal declaration of sexual human rights.
Please visit his website to access his training services and subscribe to the Optimized Mind Podcast where you will continue to have your mind blown with hard and uncompromising truths.
In this episode I have the exquisite joy of talking with one of the most endearing modern tantrikas. Kai Karrel shares his cinematic story of initiation into traditional authentic tantric practice in India as a teenager. We then discuss his ego-dissolving and heart melting practice of leading puja rituals for modern seekers, followed by a critical exploration of masculinity, sexual healing, and shamanism.
Please access Kai’s offerings by visiting his website:
Kai Karrel is writer, a poet, a mystic and a spiritual adventurer. He is a mystical traveler devoted to the exploration of the unknowable. He travels among native traditions and ancient cultures. In a way he considers himself a traditional light warrior, using the lighter side of his teaching to inspire spiritual growth and self-love. After over 20 years of deep study and devotion to walking a spiritual path, living in ashrams and learning from numerous teachers and guides, the emerging pattern that Kai has devoted his life to sharing, is that truth is a pathless land and that a true mystical experience lies in full acceptance and radical self inquiry. His teachings reflect a deep commitment to freedom and truth, the search for one single experience – falling in love with one’s self.
In this episode I am joined by Nirmala Nataraj. I discovered her great works in a search for a teaching on the symbology within the Kali Yantra and found her article.
She has graciously blessed the podcast by sharing her story of personal transformation through Tantra and Goddess Kali worship. She holds sacred space for me to share some of my revelations and research and generously provides validation of and guidance for many of my most controversial discoveries.
Together we weave a mutually affirming narrative of personal healing and spiritual growth through our devotion to Kali. We emphasize the need for preparation, care, and caution when approaching her might and magic. We also encourage listeners to find supportive fellowship as they rediscover and reinvent Kali’s vast primordial irrepressible nature.
Nirmala shares a description of the Kali Yantra and conducts a devotional guided meditation using the Yantra.
We close with a brief discussion on sexual healing and empowerment through tantra and she offers some great advice for individuals and couples to break through repressive cultural conditioning and reclaim the power and beauty of sacred love making.
I’m Nirmala Nataraj, a San Francisco Bay Area-based Desire Guru and Taboo Slayer (and you can find me at my day job here)!
Sacred Fire Desire Coaching is my way of connecting directly with those who want to embody their truth. My wish to expand people’s repertoire of tools and resources through creative problem-solving is paramount in my approach. I especially love to work with people to clear some of the obstacles that keep them from expressing their deepest truths—obstacles such as shame, past experiences of trauma, and the inability to embrace and integrate every last part of themselves.
For me, healing is something that happens when we are willing to wrestle our demons…and then become their friends (which also happens to be a recurring theme in my writing). I’m also interested in inspiring my clients to view relationships, intimacy, and sexuality as viable and rigorous paths to personal development and purpose.
My training background includes the OneTaste Coaching Program, the Co-Active Coach Training Program, and the Bay Area Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Immersion Program.
In this episode I’m am joined by Kristen Boyer. She caught my attention in a you tube video of a panel discussion on eros and entheogens. She described a recent chapter of her life as a profesional shamanatrix. I had dreamt of such an archetype several years ago as I began to be intiated into the mysteries of sexual healing with psychedelic goddess worship
She has graciously blessed the podcast by sharing a bit from her memoires and engaging in a visioneering session with me on a more holistic and empowered future for dommes and their clients.
I have always been a natural counselor and teacher by design, and have been interested in motivating and supporting others in achieving their highest levels of happiness, wholeness and success. Shortly after earning my MA in Creative Arts Therapy at Pratt Institute in New York, I fell ill with chronic illness followed by abandonment of my spouse (which were undoubtedly connected to my health problems and had to be addressed on a physical, emotional and spiritual level). I felt my life crumble before me. In desperation to stay in New York City, I took up a job as a professional dominatrix as an attempt to reclaim my power and supplement the high costs of city living. I applied my psychotherapy training and facilitated a glorified version of drama therapy that allowed my clients an outlet for their shadow sides to be vulnerable, acknowledged and accepted without judgment. I found that deeply wounded clients were magnetically drawn to my empathic intuitive ‘girl next door’ persona. I found I was naturally gifted at holding space for some of the darkest, and most concealed wounds to be seen and healed. My dungeon time was not long-lived yet these experiences have inspired me to transmute and integrate some of the darker, shadow sides of my clients while balancing spiritual and psychological health.
Shamanism and soul retrieval work began to magnetically draw me in and I quickly realized that this was my life’s work. I was trained in many shamanic healing modalities, the most powerful of these techniques being soul retrieval. Learning how to facilitate soul retrieval was the missing piece of my healing practice…click here to read more

In this episode I’m joined by M.F.P. and we discuss the need for a shamanic revolution in the porn industry. I read my press release introducing a new “shamanic porn” genre starting with the recent release of the Tantradelic Exorgasm music video.
I break down the meaning behind the title and lyrics of the track and I provide an intensive intro to sexual and psychedelic shamanology.
In this episode I’m joined by MFP, my lead benefactress in my not-for-profit Christian feminist porn production initiative. She holds supportive space for me to tell a heart and gut wrenching story of my abuse and victimization as a survivor, former sex worker, and adult performer. We then explore a long chain of synchronicities leading to our new dharmic path as spiritual pornographers in service to healing the Earth and resurrecting the divine feminine.
This episode contains a true love story dialog between myself and a beloved dakini. It documents excerpts from our first several weeks of cyber courtship and our mutual exploration of tantra, shamanism, and exorcism.
There are more chapters in this true story that will be published later, and more chapters that have yet to be written.
With help, our visions will come true and we’ll be properly funded to investigate “sex files” world wide.
This episode is the third in a series of audio recorded lab reports from some of my deepest, darkest, most revelatory psychedelic goddess worship sessions. While living at a Goddess temple deep in the woodlands of the Pacific Northwest I was guided to combine shamanic magic mushroom ceremony, sacred psytrance music, and tantric Goddess invocation.
I document my first experience of encountering a human projected wrathful dakini in hyperspace. She ravages me, provides a sexual healing, and illuminates the transcendent majesty of the human sexual anatomy.
This episode is the second in a series of audio recorded lab reports from some of my deepest, darkest, most revelatory psychedelic goddess worship sessions. While living at a Goddess temple deep in the woodlands of the Pacific Northwest I was guided to combine shamanic magic mushroom ceremony, sacred psytrance music, and tantric Goddess Kali invocation. Be warned, there are many gory details before the glory.
This episode is not a typical interview format. It’s a collaborative discourse on the topic of the sexual exploitation of women in tantra, followed by an extensive exposition detailing my personal ethics, boundaries, procedures, and protocols. Devashi graciously holds a lot of sacred space for me and generously offers insightful critiques that I feel are exquisite gifts to men who are striving to do right as dakas.
Dévashi Shakti is an international leader in feminine psycho-sexual development and practical Sacred Feminine wisdom. She has 18yrs experience as a practitioner, confidante and teacher. In her private practise, Dévashi has assisted thousands of women & men to experience awakening of their internal energy, in connection with their heart and spirit. She’s passionate about providing sanctuary spaces for women to learn about their sensuality and sexuality in safe environments, without the ambiguous dynamics often found in the tantric world. I am a practicing shaman, author and sacred beekeeper. I teach in the Pacific Northwest and the Yucatan. I consider myself to be a spiritual warrior and a spiritual warrior seeks to know. I take my students beyond the watered-down, westernized versions of shamanism to plumb the mysteries with curiosity and courage. My aim is to lead participants out of the cultural mass-trance and into the territory of the sacred. I work for Terra, Mother Earth, who is my benevolent guide and teacher…. “I am a spiritual health practitioner who integrates art, music, dreaming, movement, ancestral rituals & sacred plant teachings into dynamic embodied explorations. I received a PhD in Consciousness and Transformation and Spiritual Counseling training at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. My studies focused on indigenous shamanistic practices, sexual and reproductive health, and dreaming.
Academic studies, Amazonian shamanism using plant teachers, and many other trainings, such as the ISIS wheel approach with Gina Ogden, have nurtured my own spiritual-erotic awakening. All of these transformative experiences have inspired my forthcoming book titled: ‘In The Belly of the Serpent: Sensual Wholeness with Plant Consciousness’ focused on how the purification and guidance of plant teachers are vital for sexual/spiritual health and liberation.”

This podcast is a lab report documenting an experimental Goddess Kali worship ritual conducted in January 2014. It was co-designed and advised on by clinical sexologists, tantrikas, shamans, and spirit guides to help me overcome PTSD symptoms resulting from sexual trauma in my adolescence.
Beyond my personal sexual healing, the objective was to collect data that would help build an explanatory model of the “ecology of the soul”.
