About Vanessa:

Vanessa LeMaistre’s path has been unconventional. Broken from years of childhood sexual assault, not having a father to protect her and an ultimate lack of self-worth, she woke up at the age of 25 as a lost soul, having dated a mix of men, including prominent celebrities who didn’t respect her worth. Deciding to wake up and step into her path, Vanessa began to practice yoga and spiritually enlighten herself through a series of texts, before suffering a tragic loss of her son, Kamden at 9 months. Throughout her journey, Vanessa, a shaman, provides spiritual insight from her own diverse experiences and channels her late son to do so. If you’re looking for an unconventional take on wisdom to transform your life, please attend her Soul Church or contact her via gmail: vanessasoulxo@gmail.com to receive her services.

My Non Verbatim Show Notes

TP: feeling blessed, compounding angel interest

your strategy, adapt church to online, inclusive non-hierarchal church space, colead, cofacilitate, forced to adapt to cyber space model, for a little while, got some ideas how to start building up fellowship, when things mellow out, have strong fellowship

VS:

happening a lot smoother than I thought, just graduated, logical thing get a job, use degree, not my path,

smoothly happening, took the call, go with alignment, what’s in alignment with my path, spread energy 9-5, spread soul thin, not my path, leap of faith, people can help build it up, I can’t do it by myself, if I should up if there’s one or two people, goal is to listen to the call, multiples of people can come, join in community, really about community, build bridges how to communicate,

unity in community, you see communities where there is no unity

friend, adopted, jewish, all about community, be honest with each other, solve a lot of problems, honest with ourselves, be there for each other, cultivate during a time like right now,

sense of urgency, set up communities

encourage, more individuals build community, stronger collective

switch things, hierarchal, old paradigm, going from capitalist mindset, to age of aquarius, excited for newer generation, more queer thinking,

swtiching out of putting everything in box

more multi-raced, how to do you put somebody in a box

community, accepting people, taking away biases, what can we learn from each other

allow to be vulnerable, egalitarian based

online, challenge, we’re not in a physical space, virtual container

curious how it’s gonna end up, could be really impactful

counsels, all my classes were counsels, professor wasn’t talking at us, we were running the show

never know what’s gonna pop off, speak honestly, speak from there heart, stand in power be fierce, use voice

hold power for someone else

white guy, going through what’s happening, what’s your suggestion for white privileged male

giving back to black communities, telling him, bluntly its time to give your power away

makes you more powerful, when you’re able to empower others

blacks in our country, have not been given opportunity to really shine, haven’t been given platforms, opportunity to be heard, most don’t get a chance to talk in groups, marginalized

more privileged people hold the power

excited, we can come together on line, really be real, cut the bullshit,

get questions, oh this is a church, what’s the doctrine, what’s your faith creed

I’m listening to sources call, asking how do you want me to bring people to you, root of this, really the goal, bringing them to the light, to connect to source within themselves

takes away black and white, male female gay straight,

how can you dress sexy and be taken seriously as a woman,

how can you not be both

break things down, we are switching from an older paradigm, no longer putting things in boxes

churches, judicial, educational

personal healing if we’re not doing something different, not changing, things are gonna be the same

different approach to church, no body wants to be churched at

TP: a lot of positive triggering and stimulating triggering as I’m listening to what you’re saying, all due respect,

for me to own my privilege, and disclose my bias as underclass white male who is straight passing, able passing, most part euro american mut, I don’t have any facial tatoos, put on suit and tie, hair cut, I could make my resume to the nonprofit sector, also corporate, if I had any minority cards to play, it would be that I’m not heteronormative, survivor, come from lower class, ptsd, a lot of invisible wounding that can be debilitating, impact ability to be type-a ceo, conquer of the world, the potential privilege appears on the surface, a lot more going on there

get it if I’m in the black and white

I’m okay with starting there, that’s what I’m passing as, if you want to get to know me, be curious, don’t have white fragility problem, I can take criticism, and blacklash

we may not have discussed before, good time to talk about all these things

instead of becoming a yuppie, I dropped out of the system and going movements mostly of people of color, all fighting for the underclass

solidarity with people no matter what race

people of color I’ve been in revolutionary organizations and projects with, covert operations as whitey

ways to use that power, give it back, be strategic about it

a few things come to mind based on what you’re saying, empowerment, new paradigm

outline a few things

one topic Ron Finley, guerilla gardening movement, almost 10 years ago, gangster gardener movement, bring people into understand that south central los angeles, food desert could be food forest

took over parkway, made strip of grass and weeds between curb and sidewalk, made into lush beautiful edible garden, community, educational, bounty

world class fashion designer, city came to fine him, tear it out, under estimated his sophisticated, marketer, green thumb, ted talk, more drive thrus than drive bys, killing people, kids who grow kale eat kale, plant some shit

leadership for minority community, highest co-morbidity, people of color, diabetes, obesity, health of community, empowerment

#blackcommunitygardensmatter

next level thing, I bow down to him got to hang out, talk shop, mulch

still rocking it, tearing up the headlines

you’ve mentioned permaculture as well in your works

that’s a topic

I want to go into your thoughts on the health crises, food choice, under class, people of color, gardening opportunities, ecological,

conspiracy of big companies, junk food

if we have time walk through some of ways that people of color who’ve been colonized by christianity, raped by gospel of christianity, reclaim sacred space of devotional activities, worship, navigate fact, people who are gonna not want to let go of that, on people like you to bring in medciine, plant medicine, new revelations, new chapters /gospels to the bible

me, nerdy white man intellectual, try to get down with the people and plant some shit

greening, movement, uprising right now

whatever direction hopefully influenced by people like you, lyrics of hip hop, consciousness, spirituality

VS: keep wanting to record reggae, positive conscious

for greening and next leveling of the movement, so much in that with permaculture, food justice, human rights, food justice, education, all those poor neighborhoods, filled with junk food, liquor stores, health food, don’t have it

set up unfitting way for blacks,

public schools, low funding, not taught how to do permaculture, ties in perfectly what you mentioned, people of color being raped by colonizers

psychologically, taking away opportunity for them to be educated,

paradoxical, most people of color ancestors operated on indigenous ways, permaculture to some degree, grow and plant own food

grandmother helped raised me, know which plants to take, go on walks, plants for certain teas, for ailments

taking away, stolen, brainwashed, psychologically, don’t have access to that education

cuba, sustainable, economy crashed, poorer countries really great models

teach kindergarten, how to plant

waldorf school, silicon tech heads send children to outdoor schools, eating mint leaves, fascinating, kids learn from early age how to have such a good food source for their health

benefit in so many ways

ancestors knew that

grandmothers 91, no health problems, ate naturally sourced foods in back yard

marginalized people, have been ripped from opportunity to be educated, should be on front lines of best education possible, compensate for robbery

spirituality, practicianers work with plants, medicine, witches, shamans, balancing the earth, not doing hexes

living harmonious ways, more intuned more health, mindful, what we’re intaking where’s it coming from

I think that’s really fascinating

overall global crises, eating cleaner, less pollution, climate, better systems set up in a way, poor neighborhoods, low access to health

people of color I know, southern comfort food, most people in family diabetes high cholesterol, fried chicken everyday, not educated

more people to educate others

TP: definitely taking about reggae, what means are there, we both agree, I’m humbly, deeply informed and moved by your experience, better than mine, horrible influences, horrible diet, health problems remedy through gardening

what the problem is, who needs the reparations

reggae, people say definitely homophobia in rastafarianism, what are edges of queerness within religion

reggae gone far being, roots of reggae coopted into more mainstream forms

positivity, vibration, influences, indigenous, african, also stuff from western theology

lyrics from Bob Marley’s,

every time I plant a seed, he said kill it before it grow

reggae, I think there’s revolutionizing of reggae that has to happen for it to be medicine for the people, the vibration of guns, violence, misogyny, rape culture, toxic masculinity

looking for people who are gonna take the ron finley lyrics, put beats behind them

Paris, revolutionary hip hop, personality, artist, paris, the coup, dead prez, a lot of reggae,

ice-t, chuck d, rebellious, got out to lower class white suburbs

so profoundly influenced, tried to get hair cut like favorite basket ball player

couldn’t be more of a fan of the culture of what was spoon fed to be

by the corporate pimps,

hegemonized bling culture

nino brown, new jack city, whole thing of trying to be the white corporate business man ceo, take over, how cool that is, a lot of spike lee stuff, shed some light on what’s in the mind of a would be conscious white man, wants to care, want to give back, find good in bad

make sense of things

a lot of putting on table for you to put me in my place, take me down a notch, riff, rhyme, other well meaning white people, I was raising my fist, so down for the cause, show me where I can join forces and not be an annoyance

VS: feeling you,

the fact that world has been operating to cater to your breed as top of totem pole,

you love black culture, raising fist, think our society stills breaths it, swims in it, billboards,

something revolutionary, collectively on global level has to shift from top tiers, people can see things differently

colorism, we have different levels to this

field….or in the house

confronted in circles all the time, black me say I’m the only black woman they would ever date, you’re good cuz your light enough, or too dark

brain washing of colorism, so fucked up

there’s black people who’ll take the side of white man, hate themselves so much

world didn’t favor to them, classism within racism, thinking to themselves, talk white, look a certain way, may not know how, may not want to sign up to do

job interview, get on phone speak more “white” or more proper

theory programmed into brains, white is right

mexican woman, family came from mexico, had to assimilate into america, hispanics, white passing,

dismantling, becoming really aware, seeing with clear eyes, this is what’s been happening, more people privileged, can claim their human right

like whatever you like, culture, food

makes world beautiful

a lot to be talked about

white women favored more tan darkest women in the room

so many beautiful beautiful black woman

love all people, exotic

men not all thugs, many educated

such a shame that we are underneath this mind control

so brainwashed

we’re just people, just human being, friend trans, I’m not gay, not trans, not drag queen, I’m a human being, make more sense, more in touch with reality

attachments, pain and trauma

we could learn a much more rapid rate,

learn when I travel, how people living their lives in their culture

we put up such barriers

you’re different you like that

I’m better society tells me there’s this superiority

black privileges, educated,

dismantling, I’m not better than any body

just human beings

memes right now, world in uproar

great, most action I’ve seen, people showing some form of pushback, end of day

how often are we checking with ourselves, not better than so and so, all equal, not about me

actualizing the fact we’re all equal all human

how reclaim sacred space, gathering fellowship worshiping, christianity

TP: either admit Jesus was black or stop talking about Jesus

VS: wouldn’t that solve everything,

why are you all so judgemental, least open minded people, I’m gonna have the most problems with christians

TP: researching cults, blind spots, you don’t know what to watch out for

permaculture, balance with weeds, medicinal, edible, listen, pay attention, not poison them, ecologically literate, patterns lead to corruption with power, how do you prevent becoming a cult of personality

saying, those who don’t die a hero, live long enough to become a villain, really scary, studying that stuff, I want to have fans not followers, because of my art

charles manson, david koresh, documentary on cults, reason manson set cult devotees to kill famous people, basically jealousy over his failed music career

its so interesting, I’m only feeling the hilarity of this, pitfalls and traps of nacissism, permaculture, too much capital, pollution in nature, power money wealth influence, redistribute reinvesting, you think I’m so good at something tell me about what you’re so good at, you’re as important as I am, I’ll scrub toilets, rotate positions of power

what if everybody in a church ceremony was given equal time

indigenous way, every body including a grandmother read medicine plants in the landscape

work to be done around figuring out how to honor everybody’s contributions

dating game, racial politics of sexual, economics and politics around body types, ethnicity, film, based on true story, talk radio, based on guy, Eric Bogosian, jewish shock jock radio host, killed by right wing racist, can’t remember all the details scenes of him being in radio booth

taking calls, offending people, offensive to bigots, pissing people off, death threats, hate mail

line from movie, wants to expose people subconscious actual worship of exotic people, you know how much money white people spend on tanning booths, tan lotion, white people feel sexually inferior

I have been upstaged, from deep voice, size of the junk, to swagger, strut, soul,

Jerry McGuire, white man can’t love

do you see that that’s people loving each other

tight lipped having tiny lips,

white guy I can say this shit, I can make fun of my kind

I’ll say there’s an inferiority complex around having small lips, high pitch whiny voices, flat butts, flat chests, skin that gets burnt in the sun, you can see the veins through it, reason I have to be jealous of sexual prowess of people of color and african people

things going on genetically, so honorable, worshipable, reconcile, how do we not leave people out

I don’t want to over…

people in my life who’d say you’re an evil bastard, part of the patriarchy because you do enjoy exotic partners, you’re fetishing the other,

actually that’s natural biodiversity, jungle fever, go out of tribe, all of the world, person form another region, boom boom time to diversify gene people, love sees no color, no separate races, fighting losing battle, urge is to you know, white settlers ran off into native villagers, token white refugees

so much native american /african american blood mixing

if we were more poly and open we would find ways to appreciate and honor and enjoy the diversity,

even the whole breast thing, beyond race, very honest answer, matt dillon, singles, white romanic comedy, small breast groupie girlfriend, seattle grunge rocker, hour glass syndrome, rocker feels entitled , shuns gf, comes full circle

she says to him, are my breasts to small for you, he says sometimes, very honest

subplot, scheduling self to get boob job, doctor: is this mr right or mr maybe

more honest sometimes im in the mood for this, diverse experience, go out for this restaurant, diversity of romantic, sexual experience

I don’t have enough of something for somebody for every, diverse array of people, everyone’s covered

valuing everybody at different way different times

taboo

VS: so many powerful things, commend you for being open so raw, something humans don’t honestly say on any context, oh I’m so jealous, takes away with what’s there

taking to my french gf last night, never thought about it like this, I think racism is all this small dick complex, screen shots poster, someone protesting said that

something about being open, it could be open, I’m jealous that this girl has whatever xyz, growth in putting in on table

accept differences

commend you for being honest, saying that

I don’t know what its like to be a white man, you have swag in your own way

so beautiful, being confident saying what you’re saying

so much, powerful, impactful

thank for allowing me to go off

I don’t think I’ve felt comfortable with any body else

this is the time to do opposite of being more divided

love to see queer orgy make outs in the streets

arrest me with love

racist, bludgeon with police night stick, do anything but be on knees worshipping

shadow of jealousy, napolean dick complex

VS: conversations like this, getting there, take away the fog, not hate black women, dark skin women so much

treated different, we’re not ignorant, people born smart in their own way

bold enough confront self with honest,

how can I love myself more

TP: if you love self, want to see best and most beautiful in everyone else

take care of yourself, already beautiful, already god/goddess divine, just take care of yourself

ensemble cast of lovers

winners and losers, either get the girl, princess or oppressed slave

I would love to a woman to say to me, I like you, but I love this and that, what if I bring a wing man, can we get it all on together, I’ll be your booking agent

everybody plays different roles

some people I’m mr friday, some people I’m mr tuesday, as long as I’m not mr never to anybody, is be fine, goes both ways

can’t we all just get along

that’s my trip, sorry, adults only in my church

good times

VS: that’s great

back to horrific, world of pain and suffering and agony and disaster, we’re having almost too much fun, to pray and feel into the real terror that people are experiencing now, grief, morning, poverty despair, lack of abundance,

we lathered up some good energy, how can we give it back

people suffering, better vibes

VS: really tough right now, a lot of heavy stuff, I’m excited for the church, excited to see how conversation gets led, we’re strong, it’s in our blood, we’ve had to survive times like this before, ancestors did, do have hope, keep chugging along, very proud as black person to witness black people handle this so beautifully

not talking about looters, distressed

tiny percentage, news casters portraying it was a big percentage, what I’m witnessing, majority of black people, very commendable, strength, don’t see war, yes there’s anger,

beautiful how blacks are giving their white allies the opportunity to step in and show up how they need to show up

whether getting on knees or holding a door

blacks welcoming this healing process, already in it

feels like a healing

different access, food , education, resilience in black community from ancestors, chugging along so beautifully, be seen, heard, stand in power, have it not be taken away or stomped on or ignored, brink of brand new horizon, brand new awakening

chance to rise

empowered community

finally getting opportunity to hopefully rise

this is very hopeful time

Permaculture Eco-Warriors Establish The Moshram Part 2 TPP281

Play

In this episode I’m joined by MC Mycopath for a two part series on the past, present, and future of his personal permaculture journey and the establishment of The Moshram

My Non Verbatim Show Notes

MM:

10 years doing landscape consultations, small scale urban repurposing of people’s front and back yards, more hip with local, everything that’s taking place, microbio in soil, plants that co-mingle,

also consulting folks with health

certifications achieved through multiple biochemists

learned that the more fresh foods that we consume, the healthier our cells are

the body that takes us around here

with that, understanding and passion for that, I really wanted to be able to provide highest quality product of food for myself and others, coupled with education

spin farming, brother and I spin farming, didn’t necessarily bring in permaculture

added permaculture principle layer to spin farming

densely growing high value crops in small area

regenerate the living systems

help maintain my living system, at a cellular level, also at a financial and social level

been about 5 years, that I’ve been on this site, had multiple sites over the years

site, least likelihood of it being taken from underneath my feet, all apart of journey

seeing successes and failures in past projects

led me to finding this space

it was through a friend, that was aware that I was looking to scale up

spin farming in brothers back yard, with brother

then when on to slightly expanding at space I was at

really like to bring it all to one location and just do this

generally around vegetable crops

annuals predominantly

put in a layer of perennial crops

also longer term species, fruit trees

learned fascinating things about fruit

fruit tree requires least amount of water over long time period

gives back a lot to soil

soil is really just millions or billions of living organisms

eating pooping, dying, whole things perpetuating

through roots and leaves, branches, fruits, they drop all feeding system

year in year out

bring together this whole concept

put it at a term, silvopasture

rows of fruit trees, or some type of tree

aid in creating shade

aid in slowing down wind

not requiring a lot of water, relative to other annual crops

in between rows, would grow annual crops

maybe these annual crops are things just to regenerate soil

rotational crop, in between lettuce, grow vetch, cow pea, to reinvigorate the soil from what was depleted from what was the previous crop you cultivated

what we set out to do here

very densely packed rows of vegetable crops to sell at market and too individuals through CSA type program

longer term species of varying fruit trees

simply move forward upon goals of project, something that’s always an unknown, fortunately and unfortunately, that collaborative team of 3 individuals broke down

mediator, wasn’t sustainable, they didn’t vibe well, both wanting to walk away which they did

I was not very interested in walking away from another project, having it swept out from under me, again ,because these two egos weren’t collaborating

move post differences

differences got in the way

I wasn’t feeling, stepping away from all of the work we had done from contouring the land, to bringing in so much organic matter, infusing bacterium, all sorts of soil microbiology

perennial fruit trees, you have to wait some time, 3-5 years minimum to reap harvest

I didn’t have it in me to just be like you guys aren’t into, either am I, I am into it

don’t just want to do it here, want to perpetuate this stamp, different biomes

so cal region, mediteranean biome, only about 7 med, climates on the planet, tend to be the most lucrative for humans to co-exist with surroundings, temperatures, food crops, wild and domesticated

love to see what it’s like in other bioregions as well, other climatic elements

we’ve got going on what we have here

you came forward saying how interested you were in helping perpetuate this project, it was like the clouds parted

working on this site, we’re on 10s of acres, just working out a little over an acre, just maintenance alone for one person is daunting to say the least

just because we put together a holistic system doesn’t mean there’s no more work

actually perpetual, no end to amount of work, just in pruning things, cultivating

easy to plant seed, easy to harvest, cultivation in between, I don’t know if it’s gonna survive or not, I’ll do everything I can

lot of energy mental, physical, spiritual

one dude, isn’t gonna hold the world on his back man, either are two

TP: makes me think I’m gonna use another term for defining permaculture and call it ecological parenthood

caring for something to maturity

young families go through it, terrible twos, fighting, health similar thing

tree system here, adolescent,

MM: not as easy as dealing with child, can’t teach a tree how to fight off a squirrel, they’re bullies

TP: the timeliness of this, synchronicities will be unveiled later

rick straussman, first actual government sanctioned psychedelic research studies since the 70s, gap of 20 years

spirit molecule, interviewed,

recently, basically saying, people would ask did he take DMT,

he would give a vague answer or plausible deniability

eventually recently came out, admitted, yeah, I was doing it

I’m like fuck yeah, I wanted to hear that for so many years, scientist had the balls to do what he was talking about

ties back together, something he said, meta level life philosophy

you know, back then I had my whole career ahead of me still, a lot to lose, judged, critique, older, less of my life left, that’s much less life to lose

we’re at a point where I don’t want to piss off the wrong people, I don’t want to be a target, wait til we have resilience before we have grand opening at this site

eventually will ripened, eventually forced by demand, people will need it

sweet spot in time, security measures, support we need, capital, be in place for the time we want to open the gates

get to that point when, we did the thing, not much left to lose, tell the story, give real names, not give a fuck

certain things now, I feel like, at least statute of limitations has run out on some things, one metric

that feeling, we’ll get to a point where we don’t have that much to lose

my side of story of having fallen in love with this site, toured project in the past, wishing I could be more connected, occasion to visit

definitely feel like it was one of the most epic works in progress of so cal permaculture

ability to do it right

social permaculture dynamics of human sector, zones of humans, sector of humans, human elements, could have most beautiful property, dynamics surrounding neighbors be your worst enemy, false starts,

time energy, blood, blisters, heart ache, amount of effort that goes into permaculture project, somebody that’s they’re mission, to have that be continually ripped out in front of you

people don’t even see it

persecution of religious sects, we are the lost tribe of permies, that are constantly being haranged by neighbors

adapted us also to travel light in our personal empires

positive side effect of lifestyle of ecological romance

nudge nature to create symphonies of seed and soil

less hindered

student of Tyler Durgen, waking up after car crash with Edward Norton, the world I see, laying out strips of vennisen

hunter gathers, thriving on the carcass of industrial collapse

utopian anarchoprimitivists, intellectual elite, from eugene, green anarchist, wanna be poser,

not everybody was a poser, the heads that were the elitist, very hyper intellectual, authors and writers, wind bags, had all this talk

in eugene the founder of food not lawns, we’d go there talk bs about living primitive, blessing her with presence of our lofty conversations, decades later we don’t have our food forest, we don’t have fruit trees maturing, resentment, burnt bridges

super extra appreciate hard work that’s been done

this site, work you’ve done, huge grace, a pass, I could and should very well be punished for how far I’ve strayed from the path of planting trees, defending them, standing by them, storms, storming off of partners and lovers, mission and duty to make a stand

there’s a lot of times I’ve said this is not the hill I’m gonna die on, and this is the first time I can actually say this is a high that I would die on, for a lot of reasons, biggest gift to me, is to know

who is tantra punk, wacko jerk off wanna be tyler durgen alter ego, that split off from psychedelic ceremonies that got botched, and now this floating soul part of my old wounded self, has created this internet porn star wanna be freak, don’t have much ecological, I have bastard children trees, all over the place, to be able to be like

while you were out there, doing this thing, that could have got you in trouble, some what of an adventure, fool hardy, never would have expected that I could just cheat that time that I walked away from the permaculture path, did this freaky stuff

hey ben, dinners ready, fruit falling from trees, I just get to get back into the zone, almost 10 years since I was in deep coastal mountain broad acre permaculture, doing the trees, doing the systems right, the scale, the soil

waltz into this at a point you’d be beleagured, bromance novel cover if there ever was one

thanks to the designer of designers, tip had lift glass to him

be great to go into the shark tank part of this, now the reinforcements in the form of me and my humble but growing financial capital I can put in to keep things afloat, elbow grease, sweat equity

optimizing dance of mutuality, with responsibilities, rights, tasks, finances, between the two of us

alchemy we’re doing, the renaissance of this project, bring into 2.0 era

trajectory of , drawing from the permies community, paul wheaton, survival podcast, larry santoyo, different instructors we’ve had

business model for the site, the rebel farmers like sepp holzer, austria, kramaterohoff, epic contour narrow ponds support subtropical microclimates, high elevation fruit trees

so abundant, epic, done epic shit, considered to be the ultimate rock star, don’t think any other place on earth, other mature permculture projects, the profitability and scale and grandeur, I don’t know what I would compare to the kramaterhoff on earth

wonders of the world of permaculture tour, walk through it sometime

business model, everything else in agriculture sector, globalized race to the bottom, poison, toxic

convince people to want to buy american, niche for premium products, usually sick people who can afford to take your advice

don’t want to give crutch of supplying, want to teach them to do it themselves, leverage their acreage, their community

the idea of farming to enable other people to not be horticulturalists, shift from that as soon as possible

paradigm, living the dream, market gardeners, the biproduct of creating plenty of best varieties of food we’d like to eat, we’ll have excess, and with that excess we can play god to an extent in the economy because of how much of ecological ninjas we are

rather than try to package it all in plastic, get it in all the stores, scale it to the world

we make a more dense local economy out of it, healing center, learning center, teaching them how to fish, not selling them a fish per se

in my crude nut shell of a pitch, that’s the trajectory we’ve been most in agreement about

if somebody had infinite budget to invest, why should they buy into this as working co-op member, or non-working co-op member, how can people benefit from helping us

MM: few dudely dudes, I’ve met could really have no care to well being of nature around them, small minority of people I’ve spoken with of time on this path, over 20 years

experience with biodiesel co-op, very localized project, I would do education to engineering firms, groups

education at earth day festivals, people contribue, become non-working members of biodiesel co-op because they like what’s going on, think it’s a good direction

if anybody has capital, monetary, social, spiritual, any of the 8 forms of capital, that they are willing to share to perpetuate, the direction of this project

this may sound overzealous, I couldn’t think of a better project, or more dedicated individuals to invest that capital in

it’s one of those put your money where your mouth is

my clients in landscaping and in the health regeneration, many of them, actually buy into what I have to share, because of how I’m living my life

I’m not just using words, I’m hands in the soil, I’m doing everything I can at every corner

from what I know of you, been a crucial part of so many projects, that at one point or another it wasn’t your jive anymore for whatever reason

here we are find ourselves together on a mountain we’re will to die on

and it takes a community always

for anyone that would like to be a part of this community and see it perpetuate

be able to visit the site

local,

to benefit from the harvests of all of this, where else are you gonna put your money, time, energy, love

I’m not sure

it’s like you said man, this is one of the rare sites of southern california, any and all help, helps perpetuate a holistic project, working towards the great good of the local and world community when it comes down to it

held a lot of retreats, get people from all over the world, host in tropics, pretty good centralized area, highly abundance

ripe things to eat, throughout the year

amount of people that congregate, so diverse, so incredible, have a lot to share

at this point we have a site that any and all people interested have the ability to share

before it’s all been other people’s sites, very temporary, the time that gets spent there

long term expanded version of those experiences, and “retreats”

where else are you gonna put your resources, if you want to see great things happen, cause that’s all we’re really into

passionate

tend to only roll with those who are equally passionate about making this place a better place to be

agenda 21,

different concept of human settlement zones, from what we’re working towards here

TP: yes

to say the most and the least, that says it all, what could I add to that

nuts and bolts of this business modeling, goes back to legacy of my parents at some point will read the manifesto my father wrote for member based, for-profit nonprofit, fruit based operation, deep in heart of washington state apple orchard lands, building a massively, dense, intensive educational commercial project, rusticness, design constraint, make all tools, tools to make tools, melting down old cars, human powered, they were one of the first and most highly respected, wasn’t hippie commune, very studious, technical, published technical manual, subscribers to periodical, whether they purchased wares or we students, subscribe to catalog, kind of like micro version of mother earth news

department of making you said, interviewed mom, years ago, maybe now the time, one of those things you never know when it’s appropriate, get people on podcast, get perspectives, state of world, might be our last conversation, could go for anybody, did great interview with mom about 10 years ago, transapocalyptic, utopian for her, fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree

hard dharma, karmic seeds of melt down of family, trauma, wasted years, trouble, lot of years to get on the course that fell apart

a lot of people, children of the hippies

there’s something magical about the fact that here we are kind of at the age our parents were, as a generation, hippie, back to the land 2.0, we had woodstock, the rainbow gathering spawned from that, what are children of hippie’s doing now, actually fulfilling some of those dreams

we have now psychedelic shamanism, and not just acid, the electric kool aid test, these people went back to the land, no shamanic oversight, no elders,

even Geoff Lawton jokes, sad joke, comic tragedy, I wonder how many communes failed because they didn’t understand proper solar orientation, they bought land on north facing slopes, gave themselves an uphill battle on steep slopes facing the shadow of the sun, don’t even know why they melted down

permaculture,

we can learn from a lot of those mistakes, well positioned to demonstrate, and proudly display the next generation of the back to the land movement again at a time my mother talked about in the podcast

people went back to the land at the peak of the OPEC oil crisis in early 1970s

it wasn’t 1969 and summer of love, melt down of haight ashbury into tweaker rape culture madness,

they didn’t go directly from peak of 60s to back to the land, survivalist, apocalyptic thing, cities going to evaporate and collapse, economy gonna collapse, have to head to hills and start building a future

but brought in patriarchy, monoculture, only little bits of eastern mysticism

wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for that

now, okay, this is for me the most pure and karmically cleansed and most righteous set of circumstances to do your thing

are you really these eco artisans the whole world should pay attention to, or destined to fail

may not be the last place I ever work on

do world tour of biomes

if you take permaculture design course you want to be like a army ranger, navy seal, eco macguevery, swiss army knife, want to be deployed in every climate

because you know how to do things like harvest snow melt for nursery underground

be a bad ass shit, being a bad ass eco warrior with all this knowledge

do what special forces and green berets, what if all the engineering and money and investing and capital, everything that went into napalm and agent orange, if instead of destroying ecology, all that cultural engineering of warfare, went into actually creating a more resilient opposition through permaculture

tactical permaculture, make it impossible for them to put land mines in territory you want to defend, created thorny trellising, motes, father in military

being a bad ass, be tactical, have a reason to train, not mma, good for them but

wanna have something I love that’s worthy of defending that would keep me in shape just by working it, origins of kung fu and farming

bit of a tirade from me

MM:

I really like how you brought up that the fruit does not fall far from the tree, parents

definitely feel, that’s a thing that goes on in nature, we’re a part of it

we’re carbon copies of these people we call our parents

we emulate them in so many ways, because of the signature for which they gave us, dna

as father was one of most brilliant men I’ve ever met in my life

I would come forward to father with things I’ve learned, he would share how could he thought it was, what it made him think about

prior too, a little apprehensive, most brilliant man, hey check this out, not knowing what kind of feedback, always positive re-enforcement

honoring that we can do as individuals in relationship to our ancestors, that can be very important for mental scape, how we conductor ourselves in our lives

bro, sounds like a spitting image of your dna tree

I would imagine your mother and father had some similar thing for them

fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree

TP: I should shout out thank you to your father, have to name the library after him

lots of bro time to catch up on, and create that space where we can, aya ceremonies, 2 or 3 generations in one ceremony of family members, pretty epic

we’re healing ourselves, healing each other, healing the masculine, and creating a safe and welcoming space for the feminine to be free to be fully expressed

said before no offense, I kinda feel like, well it goes back to waynes world, fully functional babe layer, you can design for the woman in you, and the woman you want on you, save 9th form of capital for another episode

not a monastery, not womanizers either, between monastery and rapey womanizer cult, we’re probably somewhere in the middle

we need our other ethical brothers to step up, we have some healing to do in our tribe of permaculture, takes a lot of those talks about our fathers and what they did and didn’t teach us

so, that conversation is an open forum, its fun to shoot guns and practice your kicks and punches, equally important to break down and let yourself be, pummelled and tenderized by letting go of trauma, letting brother hood energy find those deep wounds and fractures, more energy buried we could be apply to our tree parenthood, soil parenthood, aquaculture parenthood, seed parenthood

MM:

along those lines of the multigenerations of lineage through psychedelic experience, its always bewildered me, with my psychedelic experiences with mushrooms, everytime I sense my grandfather,at first really weird thing, now a presence I’m aware of, hear and feel mutterings, only knew for short period of my life

at this point it’s very interesting, grandfather said, you’re back, maybe I’m back, it’s nice to be with you

thanks for helping to perpetuate my father,

what can I do for us

great thing

TP: it’s like working for a company, at office chair, every once in a while the owner comes in, the day the owner comes in, checking it out, what’s your name, trippy, ancestor worship is a thing

use it or lose it

I feel in this life, pretty damn abandoned by ancestors, been torn asunder to depths of hell such that ancestors have been blocked off by dark armies of hell, demons, but we’re gonna compost the shit out of them, find that the spirit guides were always there, they were just blocked, we didn’t make it easy for them to get back to us

of all the times I’ve felt I don’t know if I belong here, don’t know what I should be doing here, try to destroy ego, never lasts, very few times and place where I feel there is pure righteousness

liberate this land from all the plastic, multigenerational journey

dance with past and future, toxic gick, pure nature, spirits definitely guiding us

applauding efforts, works cut out for you, each one teach one, clean it up, scale it out

microcosm of what has to be done for the whole planet, on every planet

MM: not controlled by forces that think they’re higher

TP: decentralized, mycopathic, path of mycology

talk about martial arts, personal development, brother hood, men’s group experience that we’re working on and developing synthesis of spiritual, self defense, fitness through working the land, grace of being connected to your yin, notion of not just another wet noodle retreat center, traipsing around in loosest clothing, look at me I look like I just jumped out of a Rambo set, and yet I’m spiritual, dancing, smelling flowers, appreciating all the rainbows, but I can also do some ninja rolls, lift some heavy shit, drag some shit around, and do what’s gotta be done, ideal of a shaolin temple, double dragon fruit

playing up this idea, thinking about, if I was a kid, in the peak of my GI Joe fan boyness I would love to be shooting airsoft guns, tactical training with seed shot pellets, was nature boy, played in nature

how much fun families can be having, applying energy going into videos or going into being a boxer, mma fighter

masculine energy, protection, defense, epic garden project, for masculine energy to balance itself and exhaust itself, place for healthy catharsis, healthy relationships, families, we can both speak to

will be legacy to leave behind, a martial, permaculture, ecological, new martial culture as well, no surprise, or coincidence that we both, been blessed by profound journey’s into what other brutish me respect, not just purple breathers, also to some degree bad asses

love to hear you talk about, the spirit of the dragon fruit that animates you and your kung fu gardening techniques

MM:

made reference to that hippie thing, an elder at one of the rainbow gatherings I was sitting with , great acronym, term hippie, happy intelligent person, pursuing infinite excellence

never my thinking when it came to hippies, people that smelled bad, sat around got high and kept sitting around

just talking isn’t accomplishing,

pursuing infinite excellence, taking it to another level, punk rock perspective

you are a hippie, you smell like scum, I’m your worst enemy, a middle class street punk

and I always resonated with that, really nice to get that different perspective of what hippie could be

greater mobility in body, sought out chi gong master, chinese yoga for lack of better terms

not just stretching

entire philosophy, after about a year of training, sifu said, training is great, very yin, balance out with kung fu, more yang,

open to this, cool

always wanted, wanted to have military training for various reasons it wasn’t something that happened, along same line of hippie

kung fu, nearly synonymous, life mastery

mastering whatever life is for me, to me

level of giving back that comes from all of that

began training kung fu

4-5 days a week sometimes 2 sessions a day, my body started to really get in tune with motions, weapons training, when we think back to the shaolin, where kung fu started

these were farmers, weapons were their farm tools, really started to come through as my body got accustomed to movements, started using these implements in the farm, body now knew how to use them in a more appropriate way

ergonomics

rake or hoe, swing it out with arms, shoulders, and back, or put it out there and move hips back and forth, all power in your hips

spirals up through feet, hips, outward

utilizing that technique with farm tools

new relationship with tools and how to work with land and my body, all in same go

weeding, clearing debris, chopping things down, practicing kung fu

martial arts/life mastery

mastering far more of my body, tools, and tools that work with land

symbiosis, something that we can all benefit to apply in our lives, in any way shape or form

not everybody’s gonna go be a farmer

maybe you’re pushing a vacuum

you can cause strain or you can no cause strain to body, which then causes strain or not on the body, perpetuates through spirit

something that I’m still evolving into I feel like but its very empowering

self reliance

being able to provide for yourself, doesn’t just mean growing food, having land, also means self defense

never know where you’re gonna find yourself

bring those things into all of those life practices, another science that fills one of those holes in that permaculture raft we get pushed out into the water

brings it all back around, self feeding, self perpetuating

mentally physically and spiritually

TP:

brings us full circle

pleasant meanderings, through path of this convo, summary of most of our various contexts, working or grubbin on fruit, whatever it is, comings and goings, as we’ve been carving out this niche for ourselves

always reminds me of the movie that got me first enchanted with martial arts, van damme, blood sport

here we are, tactical permaculture moment going back to deepest roots of romance with nature and martial arts

ninjitsu master, frank dux, he was talking to parents, european parents of young frank dux, depicted to be wine farmers, vineyard, meeting of parents

train with japanese ninjitsu master

frank told me you grow vines, boys like vines need training, martial science brings mind, body, spirit together

we’re fulfilling that prophesy

we’re dudes,

point about military, I mentioned this not too long ago, in jest, valid point

hey america, if you would have given me a real war, or real cause to fight for, I would have served on the front lines, it’s been nothing but bullshit, you don’t get to have this body/mind

don’t give traumatic brain injury, lead poisoning, blow my limbs off, make me unable to sustain a relationship, cut my VA benefits for using cannabis

you don’t get any of that shit, not in this lifetime, maybe that could change, who knows what battles will need to be fought

the joke I made, we’re not we’re not less of bad asses that we didn’t get military training, we’re actually more, if we can be, without having the training of those instructors, and we can train our damn selves, read same manuals, same marksmanship, survival training, mindset of discipline, selection

break you down

I was my own drill segerant, life circumstances carved my ass from cookie dough to wood

health, wellness, survival, comes from putting skin in the game

better to have warrior in garden than gardener in war,

debilitating malformed meme of utopian pacifism

idea that we all need to be genderless, a mush of micro trauma egg shell walking, I’m a man, I embrace that, I don’t need impose, I embrace and love and support cherish diversity, space for everyone

phrase, vin armani brought to attention:

seed conversations of what I’d like to call and have been implementing

permaculture training experience for tactically minded, some of the best training, with hardcore lesbian women, guns and ammo, blades, bows and arrows plaster their walls instead of boy band posters, those are my best friends

ongoing thing that, I want to be the guy that the butch warrior lesbians like to play with on a full moon when they feel like, interesting romance, another story

have to cover my ass and say it’s not hyper masculine, toxic masculine militia

who wants to be securing the perimeter, that’s what we need first, can’t have whole tribe or family unless we can defend them

call to action, strong willed, strong minded, disciplined, people who want to be bangin sticks as they say in pekiti tirsia kali training, continual life long conditioning and training, being a warrior , really mean something for good cause

quote: michael hopf, those who remain,

hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times,

put that in your pipe and smoke it

enough from me

over and out, roger

thank you again

MM: honor brother, insightful, exciting having this conversation, whoever you are out there listening, hope you were able to glean something from it

summary, I feel like, initially I’d stated how going back to permaculture, can be applied to anything that you do, require taking a permaculture design course with instructor you’d like to learn from, and personality types are thing

I have studied a lot of things in my short time here, does always come back to the principles of permaculture

when I educate others on health, they don’t know it but they’re getting a quick permaculture design course for the body

utilizing all these principles around the landscape we call our bodies

a bunch of cells living together

body, gardening cells, out there gardening soil conditions to provide foods for our cells to utilize

its one of the most valuable trainings that I’ve ever had in my life,

people that also take these course, share similar sentiment

that’s about it

end this with as mc mycopath

end a lot of health lectures with a rap, haven’t done this one in a while, see how it goes

TP: gotta get that out in the drum circle, put some beats on that, hippie drum beats on that

more to come

this conversation is to be continued, next, while we’re still tying up lose ends, give audio tour of integrated systems and logic of design of systems, address

situational report, what we’ve got going what we need help with, if people have time or resources or expertise, what’s been established what’s being established, hearing a bit about what we’re processing, actual road map of what we’re doing, laid out the backstory

of what could be an epic opportunity for ourselves

all sliding scales of wealth, we’re providing

free offerings online, all kinds of content, you’ll be whippin up a podcast, holding the camera for each other to do a lot of the teaching we want to

following up with some a/v content

be comin at cha again soon

big love to you and to all the forces seen and unseen that made it possible to be at this point

Moshram Banner

Permaculture Eco-Warriors Establish The Moshram Part 1 TPP280

Play

In this episode I’m joined by MC Mycopath for a two part series on the past, present, and future of his personal permaculture journey and the establishment of The Moshram

My Non Verbatim Show Notes

MM:

started out…trouble maker

parents id as ruthless child

stuck me into acting classes, young age

outlet, unrelenting energy

most of childhood, child actor

kindergarten or first grade, hollywood, 7 or 8 years

with that, element of not really going to school, always had to go to auditions, for anything and everything, tv shows, movies, photoshoots,

state law, school for 3 hours, after, in a car driving to hollywood

30-45 percent of time, on-sets throughout elementary school and middle school

lot of really cool work, met great people

tv shows

terminator 2

really great look into the world

moved to san diego, took me out of lime light

distraught, in child actor phase didn’t have to go on audition, just get phone calls, hey you’re hired

once no longer in that realm, I’m a performer, its really in me

astrologically, birth date, title for every day of the year, my day is the grand stage, seemed very fitting, been on stage most of life

when no longer in eye of the camera, some guys that I was in high school with, had a punk band, asked to audition, became the front man of that band, we rocked the so cal punk scene at the right time, right place right time

so cal punk scene blowin up in the 90s, part of that, amazing ride, meet incredible people, see amazing places at a young age

sound recording program

kept furthering it

life would have it, never know certain things are gonna derail you, spin you off/push in another direction

near death experience, NDE

one day, heart stopped, really into meditation

wanted to see how long of breaths I could take, minute in, minute out, strange mental objective, 1.5 in 1.5 out, during that my heart stopped

learned I needed a bit more pressure on the valve to keep that heart pumping, pressure from lungs

that’s its own crazy story, insights gained

done a lot of research on nde,s majority similar story

found myself in consciousness, not in my body, two hands in front of me, a choice, one to come back here, one to stay there, red and blue pill scenario

chose to come back here

flood of information, really expanded consciousness, awareness,

all the sudden looking at body, re entered body, heart began to beat, whoa

looking at friends crying over my body

heart started to beat, freaked out

told me I was dead for a couple minutes

seemed like eternity

really took me on a whole different path

one of the things that came through that transmission, “go back to the earth”

fundamental premise of my entire experience here, ever since then

around 18 years old at the time

next time I ever spoke to somebody, really weird place

whole life tweaked, isolated

next person I spoke to: appalacian trial,

all I heard was go back to the earth, sounds like that’s the way to go back to the earth

cool, dropping everything, go to the trail, go to the woods see where life takes me

hiked the trail,

8-9 months

somethings I’ve learned in life, you can’t prepare for

think I know where I’m going, what I’m gonna do, what it will take, wasn’t true

broken in first few days

but I’m a very persistent individual, eyes on prize, had to keep going, went out with buddy,

didn’t have same persistence, can be grueling, being exposed to all elements, every day

first couple weeks, nothing but rain, head to toe, all your stuff, tweak your mental space and physical space

I kept on truckin, met amazing people

opened up to graciousness that exists in others, re-instilled my love of my fellow man, and compassion

coming from punk scene, I had lyrics I don’t exactlyi resonate with at this point, some that I do

some that…fuck the world, FTW, about to tattoo it on my forearm, thankfully I didn’t although now I would take that off to “fruit the world” so it’d still be applicable

back to the trail, ever expanding

stress fractures in foot

parked on largest waterfall on east coast, hung out, put foot in water til inflammation went down

while doing that, came across hippies, definitely open, but my punk background, I eat hippies for lunch,

expanded self, open to people, great energy, great passion for earth, not entirely at purple breather end of things, could resonate with their cause, going to rainbow gathering, never heard of such a thing, enlightened me,

cool,

decided to walk from florida to pennsyl

I was in the middle of their path

I said I’m going to gathering as well

hitch hiking excursion to gathering

really phenomenal thing.

TP: lots of good things, criticisms, some of most trusted mentors, hardcore devotees, know it’s a mecca, been on bucket list

MM: really opened me up even more, at first felt a little out of place, first rainbow gathering I went to in 1999, walking down a trail, punk kid sitting down by a river, cleaning some clothes or something, boom box, rocking old school punk, hippies walking by , turn that crap off, negativity towards punk kid, see him giving them a finger

people think it’s all love, it’s all everything at the gathering

invitation hippies had given me, paraphrasing, an invitation to a gather for people of all walks of life to pray for world peace

punk kid getting yelled out, connected with him, reflect back at myself, we are all here, I get that kid, alright, dont’ know, haven’t talked to him, get what he’s dealing with, really all walks of life

I was hooked, first gathering there for 3 months, went with 10 dollars, sustained my life for 3 months, dug a lot of shitters, made a lot of food, a lot of keeping fire going, hot water, it was a magical experience, helped me realize importance of feeling like you’re needed

getting kick backs of food, couldn’t ask for much more, sustenance

really changed my life

ever since 1999, only missed 3 rainbow gatherings

16-17 I’ve attended, really feel like family

see faces I’ve been seeing for 20 years

can’t say I connect with everybody, I have differences

no electronics, rules, flashlight, thanks for killin my night vision

TP: I was in the tree sits in oregon, early 2000s, lot of people from rainbow gathering would go to tree sits, a lot of memes, how I learned more about the subculture,

harshing mellow with lights, I can commiserate on both sides now, one up man ship, paul wheaton, some protesters they like to beat you over the head with their protest sign

MM: things have really changed, people walking down the trail text messaging

everything adapts and advances, so has the family, been interesting to watch

altered my perception of what can be, there is an opportunity for us to throw up some kitchens, cultivate and harvest foods, prepare them and share them

not a lot of cultivation taking place, not to say a lot of farmers don’t grow specific rows just to give to the family

farmers pull up from a trailer, from any corner of the country that they brought to feed people that share this vision

TP:

while on rainbow family, for a moment, mentioned before, I personally have only heard of the mythic legends of rainbow and burning man, wanted to experience both, spoken or unspoken tension between the two

segway of tactical permaculture, want to go to these places, hang out, participate in holistic debauchery, escape retreat get out of city

but also have urban guerrilla, urban permaculture, burning man and rainbow come to same place and time, in the city, actually come in and seize an urban area and print out a permaculture design and be a lasting net benefit,

boom festival in portugal, not just temporary autonomous zone, but a permaculture autonomous zone

hopefully be there some day, idea of a more applied use of all those ethics, all the people, ability to raise a barn, and party, and whatever

wanna talk about, so you have not been to burning man, have been in this other tribe, other clan, if you want to segway into if you’re real visionary and want to transform the world, bring the candle into darkness

MM:

never been to burning man, certainly know plenty of burners, heard stories, seen pictures, videos, on and on

the collaboration, definitely can be a great thing, from a rainbow perspective, speak for no body, no one can speak for another, just a bunch of individuals, going some place to collaboratively exist and pray for wold peace, beyond that there’s nothing,

can’t apply for permits, can’t get land under said name

gone to a lot of vision councils, can take days to over a week, learned a lot from some of the elders

other rainbow family listening, apologize if I botch it, if not mistaken, navajo offered land for rainbow family to collectively gather and stay, autonomous zone on tribal lands

because no body can represent the rainbow family, no body’s able to accept that

find that is a really strong element of rainbow ethics, I cannot speak for you, you cannot speak for me, we’re all autonomous here, awesome

also see how there’s a level of hindrence there, doesn’t provide framework to collectively gather and build these spaces for generations of time, just pop up events, a few months

what is the entity that would cooperatively manage that space, enough nah votes within rainbow, operates on consensus, if you don’t get consensus, you don’t get to move forward, empowering thing, slows things down, really good objective, within any form of governance, the slower it can move the healthier, jumping the gun..pitfalls

no body represents anybody, except for themselves

TP: brings up fork, validating sense that going back to paleolithic, presettled nomadic cultures, gypsies, you don’t collect diseases from animals, don’t pollute an area if you’re always nomadic, shifting, relocating, horde less stuff, less material objects,

huge respect, as anthropologist of radical subcultures and movements, I love the idea you don’t burn the spot, set upa lace, do your thing then move on, maybe cycle back again

two different modes, having a permanent location,

also notion or stay at location, own rent, squat, or be nomadic, multiple locations

practical permaculture informed, project, objective, mission,

go to this site, clean up brown field, plant stuff, cycle back in a few years, for next phase, more of a deployment,

installation work, facilitated

what if you had drones and different party lights, projecting lazer lights on contour lines for people to stomp and dig and build, permaculture design, light show that displays design on landscape, different teams all in the grove, cadence, dancing, next level stuff

MM: brother, that concept blows my mind, rainbow gathering maybe 2001, montana, amazing gathering hung out with ram dass, saw bob dylan, awesome folks out there

we went there, always an element for vision counsel, going to places that need healing, not just restorative work from an ecological perspective, also from spiritual, energetic perspective

places where massive battles have been fought, concept of altering the energetic pattern that is locked into that land, with this loving thing that takes place at rainbow, 4th of july

silence that takes place, from sunrise until rainbow noon, silence broken by children in parade,

silence, gathering around peace pole, ceremonially put into earth, so as we can direct our energy into the pole, goes into the earth and up to the heavens, one of the ways to infuse and release the new energy and the old energy that is ingrained in that space

ecologically, always found it incredible

between 10k and 40k people, a lot of pee and poop, with contour lines, seen this, if we could dig our shitters on contour lines these could be some seriously fertile beds for sprawling of wildlife plants

going back to montana situation, about 10 years later, went back

hit me one morning, opening tent, looking out seeing what could have been had we had some constructive planning 10 years previous

whenever choice was made to go back to montana, had we had the forsight to put into some type of plan

nomadically hit these spots, come back around to them maybe every 10-15 years, see ecological benefit

usually people talking about impact from negative perspective

clean up crew, site impeccable when we left, no devastation that ever took place

benefited greatly from being at that site

we could have really, all of us brought something with us to share to spread diversity of species, whatever survives, the conditions for it to occur are there

its happy, everything’s comingling,

have things we’d be able to harvest

cultivating is the hardest part

fruits of labor, 10 years later, would be a beautiful thing

TP: awesome, beautiful exploration, leads us to getting back to timeline

rainbow gatherings national forests, different vibe

who knows, just designing, curious, what was that process of evolution from you being a nature boy, having done the hiking, closer to earth, how did you become an ecological designer

MM: had heard the term permaculture, I believe first at a rainbow gathering

reading agenda 21 manual at library, spending days reading, UN soft touch plan for ways to organize and mobilize the direction of the planet, didn’t agree with it, banks running things, how they’ll be running thing, struck odd nerve, doesn’t seem holistic

somebody came up to me mentioning permaculture

couple years later, had hitch hiked around country about 2 years straight, came back to so cal, culture shock so heavy

la to san diego, no way sticking around, vibration not sitting well, go on other side of road, got out of california,

northern minnesota,

nicest place I’d ever been, relocated

up there, in a very tight knit community, one of most artistic, very socially involved

one of my buddies, really into permaculture, purchased designer manual, permaculture 1, lot of words I didn’t understand, just read a book that I didn’t quite get, then came across,

what we’d now call meetups, started going out,

permaculture in cuba, created design, implemented design with people of cuba, one of the gentlemen on that team, host of meet up,

tipped off of concept of greening the desert, from that point on, if you can seriously take desert biome and make it green, there’s something cool going on here, always wanted to participated in that something cool

we get busy in life, at time was contractor, living in housing co-op, took a lot of my time

building/grounds chair person, chair for funding and development, co-chair for finance, wrapped up, wasn’t pushing as hard as I could, educational/implementation of permaculture frame work

flame worker, glass artist, blowing glass

started biodiesel co-op, wonderful girlfriend

time was eaten up, interested in furthering permaculture studies, permaculture design course, nothing hit right time wise

one year

biodiesel shuts down in winter, large demand for biodiesel in fuel oil heaters, ways to market biodiesel, I went to washington, oregon, northern california, networking, to obtain biodiesel in the winter

4 month journey, in california, on the coast, go to san diego, visit family

friend offered work, doing sign installation, took work, paying amazing, while on one of job sites, co-worker backed over me with a truck

didn’t have NDE, another hard turn in my life, curses can turn out to be blessing

could not walk, told would never walk again, not an easy thing to sit with

after going through the heavy bouts of depression, I’ve always wanted to take a permaculture design course, I’m doin it

started me down the higher levels of my understanding with permaculture

2 week intensive

mind was blown

to say the least, all I wanted to do was perpetuate installations utilizing the techniques and understandings I had gained

took another course, and another course

heavy amount of info, retention, very small, remember things at the very beginning, the very end

a lot of material in the middle to get lost in the ether of the mind

kept taking it, again, again

wanted to better understand

fill in gaps

after a few pdcs, remember speaking with one of my mentors and teachers

late great, toby hemenway

really want to go to school, considering constitutional law or sustainable agriculture

education through university system, Toby looks at me, pulled a Bill Mollison on me, can you give me an example of a sustainable agricultural system,

not that I’m aware,

then how you gonna study

right, so true

so

I found myself perplexed,

you need to do whatever you think is best for you

if you’re interested in studying plants, study horticulture, how plants relate to soil and how soil relates to plants

have yet to meet lawyer who’s a happy individual

work with plants, tend to be happy

gonna pursue horticulture degree

amazing program

after that

heard permaculture described

younger brother, pdc in thailand

metaphor for permaculture

pdc is like being given a raft with a bunch of holes in it, get pushed out to sea in raft, have to plug up all the holes

holes are different sciences, permaculture is taking all the sciences and weaving them together

great metaphor

I’ve become certified in so many specialty modalities, gray water, holistic range management, super adobe construction, soil food web, mycology,

it’s endless, the sciences, thermodynamics

the more we understand these things , the more holistic of a design we can create, and implement

still at a point where I need crutches or a walker to walk

came across a biochemist, that gets quads walking

I’m not a quad, just needed assistance in walking

biochemist hit me with truths, unable to refute

run for money with body

inflammation went down, pain went away, could walk again, limited mobility because of contracts

regained mobility

taking in data

learn what biochemist did

studied with 3 biochemists

live blood analysis

things to be learned from every corner

biochem made sense, because of soil science

stake functions, things already learned

different realms

become much of my life at this point

passionate of regenerating living systems

soil, water, human terrain, animals,

certified in all sorts of modalities

all come together

in this web that we call permaculture

permaculture is really, not gardening

it’s something that you apply to whatever you do, could be a brain surgeon, apply principles in your surgeon practice

as long as reaping harvest from what we cultivate in a holistic manner

permanence within culture

everything gardens

fruits vegetables, fungal systems,

monetary, capital, things and stuff if that’s what is needed

holistic manner

all technically practicing permaculture

TP: permaculture rabbit hole

infinite fractal patterns, not just set of tools and techniques, philosophy, interdisciplinary science

attempts to define it

sustainable human settlement design

warren brush, living beautifully, everyones got a different way

permaculture is just applied ecology, repackaged ecology

true but not end all be all

is permaculture a cult, paul wheaton, put the cult in permaculture, joking

cynicism, too expense, hacked permaculture design course, permaculture party pack torrent

mentor, lets hack pdc certificate, I’ve put in work, read black book cover to cover, 72hour course with bill and geoff, king and crown prince, done the work, even went to see my punk band, considered that to be my talent show, year long membership, traded him one of first permaculture podcast websites

did our own value add/function stacking design of a student and master

made it work, to get the pdc into the hands of the working class, not enough has been done to get out of mlm pyramid scheme

people don’t make their money back on course

how many certified permaculture designers made the cost of the course back

this is the most priceless education you could ever get, if you take this course and don’t figure out how to make a sustainable living doing whatever you love…

I don’t think you can say it’s too expensive, can say it’s not accessible, amount of time, you need, multiple courses over weekends

radical movement, came out of various earth sciences, disgruntled looks at destructive poisoning, end game of industrial agriculture,

how to look at ethnology and anthropology of horticultural societies

frame work, infinitely scale and branch out in water, soil, trees, land forms, biomes

all from ecology, plus ecological anthropology

sophisticated academic scientific methodical

what were some big take aways, ah has from first course

when it clicked for you

super practical, how come this is not already mainstream

first moments of revelations

educational piece

quick intro to permaculture

MM:

crucial element obtained initially through pdc, understanding that the perfect system is the system that we are all birthed into, nature, nature doesn’t have flaws, as far as I’m aware of, it’s all creating its all consuming, everything feeds and everything eats everything else so there is no waste, fascinating

every ecological niche is included there

main thing with that would be observation of any of those elements

bees, ants, fungus, bacteria, trees, we can just go on and on, how water flows, on and on, comes back to these elements, naturally occuring

something aware of before first pdc

some of most successful systems built, we all use, the internet, sending packages through modems, and routers

my understanding the awareness of how to make that an effective system was done by watching ants, and how ants transfer data along their path,

mimicked how ants transfer data, this is how we’re transferring data right now, ,audio, files, the way that’s going to get from point a to point b mimics pattern for which ants send signals down the line

primary things clicked for me, first pdc

we’re already doing this, just not on a holistic scale, just in these little niches, and people win awards for it

observing nature, apply its patterns to whatever you’re looking to do

standing back and observing

mind gets in the way, nature doesn’t have that

observation, then implementation, perpetual process

never a one and done thing

everything is revolving around observation of the system you have designed to mimic nature

merely humans a piece of nature

our ability is hindered

we have to sit back and observe and see where we were incorrect

see if our observation changes the course of the pattern

we can be benefactors of that production and consumption

TP: love that, some new giving me chills awesome riffs, definitely be integrating that, hadn’t heard about the ants,

for the person who is now thinking okay permaculture, its a way to somehow in the course of the course you will feel confident to begin thinking using the algos of nature

exemplifying that logic

closing that loops, inputs and outputs, systems feedings systems, things be elegantly designed, not a lot of wasted effort, not a lot of toil, so much leveraging of energy, pretty much infinite coming from the sun, capturing and storing, trip trap trip trap, capturing and storing energy, putting it work, gets in engineering

early permies, electrical and mechanical engineers, impulse to construct and build, fix, take apart,

masculine, tendencies, exploring nature

balance of energy of gaia and energy of guys

genders in between

once you get to point of super power of thinking like nature,

being abundant, feed yourself and community, heal landscapes

scale, fold fertility onto itself, green eco magic, green the city green the city, do anything

bill mollison, real rebel, reapplying more natural paradigm to death culture of industrial chemical, agriculture and farming

bridge in time line to where you’re doing commercial enterprise, taking horticulture and permaculture, fighitng the system of agriculture, by subverting it from the periphery, creating new strategies to feed people, that subvert the evil empire of ag,

how you deployed yourself for permaculture and against the dominant paradigm of ag

MM: a mantra I really have embodied within myself, creating the conditions for things to occur

biomimicry, learning how to create the conditions for things to occur, then standing back to see if you were right, if it worked

shotgun blast with certain things, put out a 1000 seeds, don’t always have a 1,000 seeds pop up, if you’re lucky, half will

not of same species, may not be a aware of whats going to cultivate under x given conditions

a lot of time talking about all these systems generally roll back to some form of capital, it made me think about a great book that’s out there, the 8th forms of capital, and the brother that has brought us together, while he has had amazing implementations of design, he’s also had an even greater effect from a social capital perspective, being able to bring us together, creating conditions for whatever to occur

group that we’re all associated with, through his social capital, knowing all of us, create conditions for things to occur

co-aligned over the years, and at this point co-aligned on a project moving forward

TP: permabros

beloved brother, 2009-10, first started hanging out, seeing these giant wall size dry erase boards with mind maps

epic, back yard and front yard permaculture food forest, really living the dream, tickles me to no end, this very moment could have very well been a thought bubble on one of his mind maps

#wetrainedforthis

we need to do our craft, take center stage in this moment, ambulance chaser, I’m doomsday prepper, permies seen as apocalyptic

realized, the curse of that world utopian, or utopianism, way for realists to moderate the visionaries

such a curse to be put in that category, destined to fail, like 99% of back to land projects of 70s, may as well stay right in center of system and follow their rules

I know how to hack that curse, as the world gets more dystopian, whatever was utopian 10 years ago, life before cell phones, families talk to each other at restaurants, reading books

utopianism is driving forward looking in rear view mirror

utopian urge to live like the ancestors

knifes edge of industrial progress

utopian that’s easy, parents they chopped wood, but we’re gonna have robots doing it

myopic cultural amnesia

bring it to what the fuck we are doing now

we have been in the shadows, training, doing our own things, and hoping that we can create personal abundance, share the teaching, fruits of labor, no pun intended, brings us into full on the story of this site we’re on, without blowing our opsec and giving it away

so the story of this property in the best way you can deliver it without blowing our cover until we’re ready to unveil offerings to the public

you were already in utopian impossible future before me, you’ve been in this very sweet spot for a quite a while, many things done right

zelda flute planted me here

said vows to spirits, I take care of you, you keep me here

ancestors, animals, plants, minerals, what do you need from me, how can I stay here

big slice of heaven, promised land

big thank you, back to question, what’s the story of this magical little slice of heaven on earth?

In this episode I’m joined again by my favorite Tantric scholar Dr. Thomas Clough Daffern for another adventure in tantric studies.

About Thomas:

Dr. Thomas Clough Daffern B.A. (Hons.) PGCE. D.SC. (Hon), PhD. is a philosopher, historian, teacher, poet, author, lecturer, musician, thinker, educator, consultant and peace studies specialist. His academic background includes degrees in European and world history (with political philosophy) and religious education, plus a long period of intense personal study in philosophy, religion and the history of ideas – together with over 30 years teaching experience in the same fields. He has also trained and practised in conflict management within communities and schools, specialising in multifaith and multicultural mediation. He is also a trained and experienced teacher in secondary schools, specialising in philosophy, religious education, history and citizenship studies. He was awarded his PhD from the University of London for a thesis which explores the history of the search for peace from 1945-2001 and which proposes a new field of historiography, Transpersonal History, as the best way to establish a rigorous discourse on peace among rival and contending spiritual and intellectual traditions, currently battling for hegemony on the planet. He is an expert in research techniques and methodologies on all aspects of history, religious studies, the history of world philosophy and transpersonal psychology. He has lectured in peace studies, philosophy and religious studies for many years at the Universities of London and Oxford, and has spoken twice at the UN Headquarters about the role of Universities in changing the climate of fear and violence on the planet to one of trust and wisdom-seeking. He is a founder and coordinator of International Philosophers and Historians for Peace and has worked with philosophers and intellectuals from many countries worldwide to help establish intellectual and spiritual networks for peace and goodwill. In 1990 he was elected in Moscow as Coordinator of International Philosophers for Peace, a specialist body of philosophers worldwide searching for peace and international understanding.

He is Director of the International Institute of Peace Studies and Global Philosophy (IIPSGP) which works across many academic fields to bring together all those with an interest in and a commitment towards the study of peace and philosophy on all levels of the personal and global and to applying the qualities of love and wisdom to the resolution of the problems and tensions of today’s world. IIPSGP arose out of a feasibility study which Thomas undertook for the University of London into the proposed establishment of an Institute of Peace Studies (from 1989-1992). IIPSGP now operates as an autonomous Institute with members scattered worldwide. Thomas is also Founder of The Global Green University, which has arisen from the work of IIPSGP and was launched in 2000 as a pilot project in complementary higher education, to bring into being a new global higher education initiative which can provide space for the deeper kind of learning which we believe is needed at this time of critical transition in the history of planet earth.

Thomas has developed long term educational programmes to widen understanding of the causes of conflict and approaches to peace and to assist social and cultural development. He has also created, (in association with the Gandhi Foundation and the World Conference on Religion and Peace), the Multifaith and Multicultural Mediation Service. The M.M.M.S. is the first mediation service to specialise in disputes in which issues of faith and/or culture are present. He has also served as an educational adviser to numerous organisations including the UN and UNESCO. He has travelled widely in India and has visited 8 times, travelling throughout the country and meeting academics and spiritual seekers. He has extensive knowledge of Indian religious and philosophical teachings and has proposed the formation of an Indian Union Mediation Service to prevent conflicts in the entire sub-continent. He is a lay member of the Anglican Church, as well as a practicing Druid elder, Qabalist, Sufi, Yogi, Tantric and universal mystic with an extensive knowledge of all world religious and philosophical traditions. He served as educational director of the Gandhi Foundation with the late Surur Hoda, and as Secretary General of the World Conference on Religions and Peace (UK and Ireland) from 1990-1997 attending and contributing to many of its international conferences in Rome, Vienna, Sweden and Paris. As an ecumenical esotericist and universal mystic, he has also spoken at Theosophical, Anthroposophical and other esoteric organisations and networks worldwide, and helped convene the Network of Wisdom Schools at the Theosophical Society headquarters in London in 2000 for Sancta Sophia Seminary. He has spoken in Edinburgh to the Edinburgh International Festival For Middle Eastern Spirituality and Peace on several occasions, running a workshop there on the Esoteric Dimensions of Peacemaking in the Middle East, focused on his book The Qabalah Runes. He has lectured in the USA on various occasions, including at Sancta Sophia Seminary, as well as at Findhorn in Scotland and the Edinburgh and Israeli Theosophical Society.

LETTER FROM EUROPE – by DR THOMAS CLOUGH DAFFERN – MARCH 2020

I was asked to supply a monthly update from Europe on developments in peace, nonviolence and geopolitics etc. Here, we have been watching events in India unfold with some perplexity. Since I was recently in Delhi for the International Conference on Peace and Nonviolent Action that Rajasthan Patrika reported on in December, I thought I would supply an update. Our Youth Wing, for the World Intellectual Forum, that we set up in Delhi, recently issued a declaration that is important, regarding the recent chaotic street battles in Delhi, that bring so much sorrow to all who love India here in Europe and throughout the world. Therefore I hope that readers of Rajasthan Patrika might like to see what we said.

DECLARATION ON NONVIOLENT INDIA – WORLD INTELLECTUAL FORUM – YOUTH WING

In December 2019 we founded in Delhi, the World Intellectual Forum Youth Wing. This was during the International Conference on Peace and Nonviolent Action organised by Anuvibha, the international Jain peace organisation founded by the late Jain Saint Acharya Tulsi, based in Jaipur, which works for a nonviolent world. Already in December some restlessness on the streets of Delhi had started as a result of the Citizenship Amendment Bill legislation. Now in February 2022 the situation is escalating, Many people in Delhi are scared that unless this violence is stopped it will only get worse and worse. We are reminded of the tragic riots that happened in India when the British left in 1948 and rioting like this between different religions broke out in Calcutta. It only ceased because Mahatma Gandhi had the courage to go there to fast to the death unless it stopped. Fortunately Muslim and Hindu leaders were able to get their people to stop fighting with Gandhi to lead them.

So now, in February 2020, on behalf of the Youth Wing of the World Intellectual Forum , we want to say to our dear friends, young men and women and teenagers of Delhi (and other citizens in India) that

1) we are all first and foremost human beings – whether we are Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Christians, secular, no matter what party we belong to, or what God we pray to – so let us treat each other always with respect and reverence and kindness

2) It is vital for young people to break the cycles of violence that we inherit from the older generations. Let us not perpetuate these outmoded wars between Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Christians etc that have been going on for millennia. Ours is a new generation and we have the power to begin the world anew, to start a new story, of peace and prosperity in India, if only we refuse to be recruited to these old narratives. Let us instead respect all religions, and let us study together their pitfalls and their glories, just as Akbar did in his days, or theosophists did in the time of Mahatma Gandhi. This tolerance and great mindedness is the true India we know and love.

3) The vital genius of India’s contribution to the world’s civilisations has always been in her philosophical depths – in Sikhism, in Jainism, in Buddhism, in Hinduism, in Islamic Sufism,, in theosophy, in Gandhi’s ahimsa movement etc, and this is the India we wish to reawaken and therefore we appeal to the young people of Delhi – Let us not get involved in these conflicts on our streets ! These are not our fights. Our fight is the true inner jihad towards knowledge, towards wisdom and towards true love. We can show our dislike for the government laws such as the Citizenship Amendment Bill nonviolently, by out-thinking our political elders, and coming up with better, more peaceful ideas.

4) We appeal likewise to the police and the army – protect the weak and innocent and do not take sides. In communal violence like this everyone is a victim, so you must be scrupulously neutral and try and stop all the fighting. The state of Indian is by law a secular state with the judges, police and army sworn to uphold the rights of all Indians to go about our daily lives in peace and safety. We appeal to your as professionals not to make this situation worse but to smooth over these difficulties and restore peace.

5) We appeal to the government of PM Modi likewise to cancel his order of 3 billion dollars to the USA for weapons and killing machines and instead, use this money for peace education, nonviolence training, for putting classes on mediation and consensus building and civic awareness into every school in India. Let our children and young people learn about the glories of each other’s’ spiritual and intellectual heritage – let us be proud of the generations of great scholars, saints and sages India has produced in all faiths – and let us not allow a climate of fear, distrust or racial or religious superiority to creep into our national character.

6) At our founding conference in New Delhi we heard from leading experts of nonviolence education and training that there is way for people to learn to overcome violence. Experts came to India from many countries around the world and shared their practices and expertise. We want the youths of India to learn these skills, how to master difficult emotions of vengeance, hatred, jealousy, fear etc. and how to replace them with love, compassion and skinless – and this should be for all Indians, whether we are Muslim, Jain, Sikh. Zoroastrian, Bahai, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, secular or whatever. Peace is the birth right of everyone on earth and everyone in India.

7) We urge that the government of India therefore authorises training in nonviolence as part of the educational right of every Indian school and university student – and we pledge to work with young members of all political parties in the Indian parliament to make this happen. We urge that an emergency meeting of MP’s take place in the Raj Sabah to hear from us and listen to our demands that India restore our default position of peace-ability. We used to be the mecca of the world for all who love nonviolence, and this violence on our streets now is shaming our heritage and our true good name.

My Non Verbatim Show Notes:

6 months since we spoke, a lot going on

comparative philosophy, see the job as medical doctor, very interested in medicine

tantra, buddhist/hindu argued before we can reach enlightenment we have to have health

enlightenment is spiritual health

planetary outbreak of dis-ease

ease is health, got this disease going on

occupied with coronavirus outbreak, from metaphysical perspective

tantra mutual healing

never gonna get healing unless we get through

tantra, tan = extension, tra = truth

truth is the transcendental principle that unifies opposites, also in word three

when conflict, the third principle, the threesome goes beyond and creates truth

situation on planet, all these conflicts,

watching impeachment

britain totally polarized over brexit

deli, we think of india as a place of tantra, love, but rioting gangs of youth

metaphysics of tantra, the transcendental reconciliation of opposites

problem on planet, politicians not capable of telling the truth

truth is whatever advances there party or position or keeps them in power

suffering from a truth deficit

chinese outbreak, wuhan

mainstream documentary, australian television had a crew in wuhan, outbreak of corona virus

interviewed people, documented outbreak

what’s revealed is pretty shocking

first case december 1st, thought normal pneumonia, then a few doctors realized a problem, lots of cases, more than normal

created a chat forum, people started dying, realized it was serious

tried to share case histories, secret police came in and arrested the doctor

clamped down on sharing of information, suppressed it, delayed medical response

police tried to sweep it under the carpet

not gonna get healing unless with get truth sharing

china, truth is what the party says

whole thing began to spiral out of control

documentary on youtube

1000s of cases started coming, people just lying down on the street to die

filmed, like in a plague, whole city, size of San Francisco had to go into lock down, sealing doors, curfew, hospitals staff going crazy, full of patients, no treatment for it

documentary is scary everybody walking around with masks, people in white suits picking bodies off the street

that’s happening now as we speak

historical place of taoism, wisdom traditions for centuries

what caused it, it looks like, scientists haven’t agreed on this

australian team, isolated the virsus, done gene sequencing, looks like a virus that came from bats, it can’t come into humans, it came through a medium, another mammal, theory goes, meat market, somebody handled infected animal

what’s weird, virus is combination of two things, bat virus but spliced with something like the hiv virus, replicating faster than normal virus

man made, 900 meters from meat factor, research with other colleagues, someone in bio lab, selling off old meat, man made weapon, a biovirus, leaked into human species, now going all around the planet, find that shocking beyond words

the chinese scientists have to come clean about this, have to own up, sorry we made this thing, have to get together with scientists in the states

however this is the crunch time for humanity, if we don’t do the truth sharing, if they deny it

other theory this is just a random mutation, statistics of that are millions against that

no its artificially created, trouble is, society there’s a truth scarcity, we’re not getting the facts

live in total fear, that’s the kind of symbol of where we’re at as a planet

symbolism of these masks, afraid to touch each other, complete opposite, of sharing, loving, compassionate togetherness of truth

through truth

TP: peace with nature? Learn hard lessons, silver lining

TD: there should be such a huge revulsion against military industrial complex, this might be the catalyst for huge change in china, secrecy of communist state, ruling the people with iron fist, not allowing information to circulate, if it turns out they actually made it, cause for change in china

might be silver lining, there are brave people speaking out

story of how it came it be has been smuggled out of china

send compassion to all the people who are suffering

truth auditing of our own lives

of our relationships, are we with the right person, do we share truth with them

not contributing to that fog of lies

want to share a teaching, doing a commentary on a buddhist scripture, buddhist tantra was my open to all this in my early 20s, studying at university of bristol

quote from early scripture, translation, core biblical equivelant:

path to dharma, the essence of truth

basic truth of buddhas noble truth, our thoughts our mentation, arise out of impure thought, greed, who’s ever inventing weapons like this, they must be demented, horrible weapons

not it’s information warfare, each state invested in internet hacking against other countries, impure mind, if we go on doing that, suffering follows

that’s the bad news

we know that in our own lives, difficult relationships, whole of life takes on tone of suffering and pain, don’t want to go to work

we need to start to act and think and speak with pure mind, and then joy will follow us, as our own shadow

I would say to all the people who work in the defense industries, oligarchs, spin doctors, those are the demonic forces we’re up against, the only way to turn this planet around, is to apply the tantra of pure mind, that’s what I’ve been working on for the last few months

musing on how we can do that

I’ve just published a book, encyclopedia of druid studies, going back to paleolithic time, magical systems called druidry, handed down orally just like tantric tradition

3 volumes 11,000 pages, years of work

druidry and hinduism, kabbalah, tantra

latest research by academics and practitioners

William Jones, welsh scholar, went to Calcutta 1780s, head of legal service in Bengal, learned sanskrit, realized it was similar to welsh, latin, greek, persian, coined the term indo european

realized we’re all the same people

it’s been a secret oral tradition, the other thing that interested me, they were the peace makers of the tribes, when wars broke out they would try to mediate,

the magi, what I’ve been thinking about, what we need is a new branch of magic, which I’m calling peace magic right, all kinds of books on magic, different occult things, we need to apply all that to peace work

a book on peace magic, a lot of tantric type meditations, visualizations, drawing on that work, we need to get a whole new generation of people actually practicing, their own magical potential for peace, dedicating that energy to peace work,

that is the resistance of our time, against forces that seek to separate us

TP: describe a working?

TD: first book, 50 different practices, dealing with different aspects of reality, section on energy of animals, shamanistic way, earth elements, section on time, the magic of time, how you can work with that, sections on relationships, love sexuality, how you can activate through sexual experience

each one has got a key thought, an image to work with, an actual exercise, you can do with yourself alone, or with a consort, it varies on what the different practices are,

banishing ritual on nuclear weapons, drawing on black magic in a creative and loving way, heavy invocations

black magic in a technical way, egypt, people of the eye is black, black is a very holy color, black magic was the land of egypt

talking of alchemy, the founder of alchemy, egyptian lived 200ad, panopolis, south of cairo, holy city, studied all kinds of esoteric stuff, he put all this stuff together, invented alchemy, the black arts of egypt, wrote a book on the meaning of the alphabet, sounds, the mantric sound, the guru gives the initiate, absorb self into sound current, go into the sound current of the cosmos, these sounds come from the gods, we’re spoken into being by the sounds of gods

if we can purify our minds, we can purify this world

fallen into a dark dream, alpha conquest, all they care about is there ego, not their power over their own shadow their own darkness

TP: ecological romance,

TD: forest, fruit trees, france, people live very simply, little villages, hamlets since the 12th century, slow easy pace of life, I love rural france, still got that old magic, full of mystery hear

let me tell you a bit about what I’m doing in delhi, conference organized by jain community, advocate non violence, gathering of all different faith, hindus, leading educators in non-violence, a guy who runs a sustainability lab, people from russia

I was an academic coordinators, quite a high powered conference, tragedy going on, jain part of delhi, yet a few miles away protest, riots, asked what’s going on, learned that this is all to do with the indian government, citizen amendment bill, anyone living next to india, border lands, if they want to apply to live in india, they can as refugees, hindu nationalist ideas, india for hindus instead of mother land of all faiths

muslims protesting, making them not feel welcome in india, in india very advanced sufi traditions, muslim scholars who took zero from india, made possible all the maths that they use, fusion between indian hindu and buddhist ideas, sufi spirituality, singing

this narrow minded faction in parliament, anti-muslim law, 200 million muslims in india, started rioting in the streets, since I left that was a few weeks ago, it’s got much much much worse, running street battles, people being killed, hindu and Muslim mobs looking to kill

amazing, next generation, doing brilliantly, issued a declaration calling on youth, because it’s young people roaming around in mobs, they don’t know apart from violence, issued declaration, calling on young people to basically not inherit the conflicts of the former generations, hate, goes on and on and on, like this in ireland, it’s time for this youth to say enough, I don’t want want your karma anymore, I’m a planetary citizen, trying to elevate that violent energy into the wisdom

TP: post national, digital citizen ship

TD: citizen of the cosmos, nation, where you’re born, comes from latin, that’s just where you happen to be born, I’m a Canadian if you want, earth citizen

rebirth process, have to elevate our identity to a higher level, grow up, not quit with you on the planet may go down, earth custodian, go this planet for another hundred million years, this planet can remain as an incarnational field for human life experiences, it will become too hot, life wont be sustainable

if we want, we’ve got it for a hundred million years, gives us enough time to solve our problems

druid gave torch of liberty to america, loved the american dream we want you to live up to it

we believe in that torch of liberty, each generation has to re-light it, not give in to dystopian negativity, drugged up, to disempower us

intellecting

TP: magical offering

TD: nature is the great alchemist, doing the work all the time, that’s why buddha sat under a tree to reach enlightenment

final bardic offering

Com and our journey together will begin hello David Lebovitz welcome to Township on podcast episode number 214 will be getting some major updates from our international Man of Mystery been on the show a few times before Craig Lewis you said old friends are going back many years in the anarcho-punks seen in the more radical conscious seen and he is standing in the world of pure support and mental health and really growing and transcending beyond the the system’s way of administering public policy around mental health and really taking the power back and using a DIY Spirit to do so and last time or what we’ve been since we’ve talked last I know a lot of Adventures have unfolded and and a lot of Mystique and a lot of intrigue so with all that said Craig take it away. What’s been going on with new oh my god brother it’s been I think the last time we spoke was in February to do to do a proper the discussion like this was in February of last year so it’s like I don’t know if 15 months are 16 months ago if I’m not mistaken yeah so yeah man yeah it’s been one heck of a crazy wild ride and I now live in a mountain I am in the south of Mexico and I am in a place it’s a bit hard to get you unless you have any intention to go there you make a plan and I have an apartment I got a place to live that’s affordable and I have a terrorist live off the plants and the mountains all around and hunting birds and cats that visit and live with me I don’t think the language and I’m learning and I’m just for the first time for lots of reasons this finding some sort of I don’t know how to describe it some sort of acceptance of the rationality of everything and finally some sodas thanks and all of it to be able to be in the moment and take that and transform into whatever this I dream about and end desire in a nutshell that’s where I’m at this is awesome and you sound better than ever and I know you’ve been through so much some intense inner struggles and external struggles and now to be at that place of peace and sounds like relative kind of resolution to to be posted up somewhere and then I actually have this is something I’m really fascinated in which is the economics of being a traveler in the in the modern age in the sort of how you can are you figuring out ways to economize with your resources and find ways to make your money last longer by being posting up on your travels places where you can just kind of make it stretch and last longer when can you get into some of the economics of that of that way of life cuz it’s very fascinating to me I’d love to do more traveling myself oh yeah I will check this out, man it’s a freaking disaster III what economics are we speaking of like it’s funny I landed here with a backpack okay I I had a little bit of money to just place to get a house and I’ve been like it’s been a very challenging experience to find some sort of sense of any sort of like this world episodes like some sort of solid foundation on a music and this whole crazy like a year-and-a-half will plus I like all over the world husband Ace Financial how do I describe it I don’t have like a mighty long time ago this is been like I don’t want to I do want to break up Bon Jovi cuz this is been like what we would that when they would sing in 1986 this is what they called living on his neck no other way to describe it because that’s exactly what I know to be true but so this is all crazy like how do you live how do you survive how do they make this happen I don’t think I had a choice and I think the only way I was going to heal and I get to the next place in my life to get to the next place to get to the next place what’s the not know what the heck I was doing and just trust that I did letting you know you know me I give like the roundabout Circle answer that’s like the opposite of the answer you’re seeking or the or the S you would expect or anticipate the question but that’s what you get for me so that’s my answer brother what actually did I half expected something like that where it was more I can see the strategy and being uncertainty Jake and the spontaneity of going where the wind blows you know and in following just moment-to-moment that’s that’s the dream I mean that’s the most Freedom you could ever have is to not be bound to even your own plans of your own expectations of anything in and just really trust a if I’m blessed then I’ll get fed and in Shelter tonight and if I’m not then I’ll have to wonder why with the empty stomach on the cold side park somewhere a man and I don’t like that empty stomach and I also want to just briefly go back a second before I go forward the moment I said that the answer that you were expecting I knew that was the incorrect thing to say and I immediately followed by saying the opposite because I knew that you’re not expecting that it’s like this like comfortable thing that we do when we’re communicating we make use of something that we put into the conversation but actually that’s bullshit you are understanding me more than most people would so thank you yeah crazy life man this whole reality is just you can live and people will see your heart and don’t understand that the language or how you look or you come from or any of these things they don’t matter what matters is that you can communicate from what is truly what they knew in your heart that they will see that and they will accept that and that’ll bring you the protection on the help and the loves and that everything that you need for real I love a man yeah that does that leaves Faith conduct actually reminds me something funny why I say this with all due respect cuz this fellow is one of my dear friends and we’ve sent drifted apart but but we used to be tight Bros and it was funny in a way because he came from a way more stable family and had he works really hard to be an overachiever and I watched him work harder than anybody so I don’t say that he was like a born with a silver spoon in his mouth or whatever he wasn’t he was privileged but he also was pushed to to Really develop himself but she did all the extracurricular activities and did the honours and did all this crazy prep work and and and built himself up so that he could be ivy league material to go to college and then he’d end up finding a program at a state college or State University that that he was happy with and we know I’m happy with location happy with the programming cetera and I me I dropped out literally in sixth grade was in and out of rehab and got maybe another couple of former formal semesters of high school and then dropped out again after that and then I a couple years later I got a GED and then we both end up starting at the same State University together at the same the same time and I had that been the complete antithesis of the discipline and academic rigor that he put in and we both started the same place even though we had to come about it until we different ways but I also was getting straight A’s and was dedicated so I think this is just you know that all that is to say there’s people who are rich and unhappy and don’t know what to do themselves and they’re throwing all kinds of money away and all kinds of drugs and experiences and you’re going at this is international expiration with you’re surrendering to a to the Divine forces that are guiding your your your destiny and that and I’m always impressed I’m always jealous Pac-Man you ear like living it up with the fuck all you got to do and I’m going out there listening who wants to know how to how to do it on doing are you going to do like why am I crazy like I thought I thought I had and this is the opposite of what I however I should I should restate that live your dreams like to be free to live their dreams you have to have like the Living Like Blood Parts select thing beating out of you and you have to take it and learn how to take it standing up and then smile and how does a gold medal physical and emotional heart function but for some reason on Earth why don’t you just finish it down was it yesterday in the morning and you say because I want to know of a solution and all you got is like you and Siri are you going to still that hard up with something of beauty they’re going to just like let it become like like Houston broken and like crap the pieces like a kisses ceramic that shatters and so many ways that you can’t apply the consumer D art form to like naked better to make it more gorgeous from before I don’t want to let it get to that man in so I didn’t it shows different that’s all you can do right on Manuel what does I think that’s a good sort of just catching up with bed and instead of setting the tone butt so tell me what what have you what are some of the the you’ve been through some nightmare scenarios give us some adventurous kind of thrilling updates on the record and say cuz we are because I don’t say it just lost my mind National way for me or anyone in a kind of situations that I found myself in such as being normal and that’s remember I did it start out normal normal I need to really not know what with all those pills in the nozzle Octonauts and not normal shit was it normal that had that brain injury was it normal that everything went crazy wasn’t normal so here I am like at the base of my life or the beginning of my new life not normal and so like I’m just so freaking proud of myself then I’m alive in Christ figure it out somehow that it was okay to be fucked up in the eyes of others that it was okay to like cars had your relationships and your familial connections and your volume note to Garrison in old friends and colleagues at all if that is okay. Burnt to the ground that it doesn’t actually matter I took to stick around that that and I can’t believe you this is just a process like a moment to moment. This is hard to do the Okemos but I decided to be okay with it cuz I like the sound of that word okayness like okay I want to see I don’t want this palatable how to build in my life just want to go to handle something because well it’s not great but thanks for that you know that okayness and dust you choose to be so all this shit this happened man I can admit that I know that some of it looks real wild and it looks one way and it could be another we live in a reality where we look at the freaking news in the United States obviously something is wrong in society is this also confused and 504 West so you know what I got it I got to stay right there you you have just stumbled upon a masterful mine hack and I am seeing from the outside Dimension as you’re saying but basically what you just described is that we live and we live in this world where the ships hitting the fan and there’s a lack of people feeling a sense of okay now and I really feel like we need to become more comfortable with with all week and we need to deal with our shit so we can feel the Okemos if you catch my drift I catch your drift Iko something’s been plaguing me on the inside because through the process I got it I want to admit it putting you and everyone in that everyone if you are not including everyone that’s a funny thing you know why cuz I respect the heck out of you and I’ve been like it’s been such a long exhausting journey of knowing you that for me is included me being embarrassed and people mixed with you who I just noticed this man was like surviving so much better than me and I keep coming this beautiful human being that I only dreamed like 3 years ago or whatever we got to reconnecting and I am pathetic and somehow believe I have you feel like we’re on the same level of me I mean I have nothing but but like respect for you by Prince you’ve accomplished so much and you’ve accomplished things that I am still still dreaming about accomplishing so it’s it’s a mutual you know Mutual sensitive of respect and admiration man it’s always so it’s the way it should be mad it’s like to skateboard is trying to learn learn new tricks together you know thank you man and thank you and the reason why I came I was about to say what I’m about to say this because the process of the journey this is bent for me is not just included me it’s included lots of other people sung by choice and then probably just a son who just ended up in the crossfire of my life because of other reasons that they may may may not have been aware of or been aware of their participation and and and it’s not okay to not swear on the show oh my God they say it’s because because I hurt all the time give a presentation on anyways and so that’s kind of what kind of what works for me man and his wife said that like cuz I look up to you as somebody who has just like refining for himself and it’s showing the whole world like this is what it looks like to be in a process of yourself and be better with better and better and better I was like my God I could never be anywhere near the degree of what are some sleep when you go through the process of becoming you when you’re like burns down and you don’t know what to do in the fall Society is his his his either confused with you you’re a huge mistake the doctor that’s a Schism you just get into situations that could be desperate and you might not know that you’re desperately might not know you getting into you might not know it’s going to happen next cuz how could you and then you get into this situation where you get into things with people with money and then Todd relationship stuff cuz I was like a weird dude already have to learn how to be like in today and all this crazy shit that I don’t know about your kid and like you’re always conduct yourself in the way that you wish and I wish you felt embarrassed that like this like how did you get here like one of these crazy stories amazing stories that I want to share with you a few but it wouldn’t be fair to me to the universe who knows me and watches this happen at the end of my reality who was the recipient or have experienced just knowing somebody in whatever way when they go into the burning down with your going through the process of Awakening that’s an ugly and painful and frankly does a lot of people who got caught up in that and I would every day with the with trying to like become more pure knowing how screwed up things worth time and knowing that your casualties to getting to a better place and that’s just a preface if you will to talk and but all the good cuz frankly like recently somebody had posted something online in response to something I’d written and they said they dude guy Craig I was like yeah really you ask cuz this wasn’t for me I’m in the process of doing fasting from social media and the more I take a step back from it the less I want to return back into that that mine state and f deleted some accounts I’ve just taken some apps off my phone Note sometimes I bring them back or not but I know a lot of the frenzy that you would get sucked into with trolling and drama online at school it’s Way Beyond normal human capacity to have any level of that kind of interaction and so I think everybody got everybody’s got taken for a ride and I think there’s only a few people who who. So I just burnt out but but really Purge that that toxic soup of emotions that comes from being in that frenzy and actually has the wherewithal to create distance so I’m wondering I mean you wrote the book on on peer supported mental health and now it seems like you’re going to have to write a book all about how to either navigate or avoid or moderate social media right wow the funny thing is that a you’re right about the social-media thing dude I want to write letters I think I love the fact that we can communicate and all this shit then it is just destructive Beyond any any you or you do understand cuz we’re taking the brakes and destructive Beyond any capacity that I have to use to find a better word with my. If I may say so Larry man like I totally feel that makes think about it it’s not constructive most the time when you’re not dealing with people who have skin in the game to a point where they feel like they’re they have to be accountable to not overdo insults and overdue criticisms it’s like if you were a tribe living together and you knew everybody everybody knew each other since birth and everybody was mutually interdependent for survival then you would have restraint when it comes to the extent of abuse that you would tolerate that you were perpetuate but when you’re totally disconnected then you have no skin in the game for survival with you with a group of people it is literally the most unconstructive way to process emotions information actual important social issues and Community issues that come up so please man yeah go out let’s just open that can of worms and laments profusely about that I think people need to get some that shaking out of that Paradigm will be well I think it’s constructive thing to do with all this beat it because there’s so many to choose from in my in my soda. I was thinking about that you asked me to write a book about social media like crazy out-of-control the truth is always some truth behind what’s going on that’s funny or not funny or not is that this really happens I like a guy ask you know if I hear you perfect out of control destructive I wish you could see right now and if you like like lights flashing I’m actually having my hands in the air like I am the king of the awful idle control crazy person public meltdown we shouldn’t be who I am today if I celebrate that ships the best baby should be a book or went to learn how to not do what I did cuz maybe my way is not the right way for everyone but the reality also is the Crux of all that is that the freaking internet and that social media chaos that I was unprepared for is it crazy person adult trying to find his way that was destructive they probably not just for me probably thousands of people or more out there who taught Derek distances that collapsed because they didn’t know how to manage cuz how could you learn if you didn’t know how yeah that is so Insidious it just creeps up and with so many things now I mean that it’s it’s cliche to talk about how the dystopian sci-fi of the 1980s which was what really Prime me for being prepared to deal with this time and being a warrior in this time and it digital Warrior and I still despite that training of of being skeptical of corporate fascist media Empires and what not I I live drink of plenty of their Kool-Aid and now I’m really thinking about how much I’ve leaked about my interests my desires that people who have wanted to be involved with romantically and the processes of all that stuff is basically being molested by those social media Giants and and I’m glad that I did not take it to the extreme to let people do which is actually like a lot of negativity and a lot of drama and a lot of accusations and yeah I feel like there’s a state of grace that is refusing to to participate in that in that should have been punk rock an Arco pump DIY 101 I mean we were always rebelling against the mainstream and back then it was the mainstream media and it was the one directional media of of the power elite news organizations and there was ziens and I like the way that social networks online could be decentralised but there was it there was actually an addict his backbone to that where it was people who were peer-to-peer building forums and building networks in chat rooms that were they weren’t being puppeteered by these these forces that are really there to serve the state ultimately to Amy so ever you want to talk about just let us bring this back to it to who we really are a man as like as anarcho-punks who were trained to think critically about technology and about corporate Fascism and the mainstream and then watching and watching ourselves get sucked into it watching other people get seduced and sucked into it and like how do we resist how do we repeal and fucking in Break Free then yeah yeah I respect you all Whenever there were born okay and basically what this comes down to is the difference between a fanzine and a Zine so we grew up grew up in this like reality where your existence fish eat that text that need within your soul and your spirit your heart to have an understanding to connect with the world in a way that brought you the feeling of like you belong that you were part of something that mattered that was what we call fancy right if you want to like try to give a little bit of a I don’t have described it with the word is a metaphor I don’t know when there’s also looks like her internet and then I just went over that and then it’s not meant to or with your is a 2018 something like that it is the difference cuz in the context of social media excetera that. That’s a defined difference between when you are living in an era an era where you haven’t desperation that is coming from this blooming devastating oppression that I have a sense about cuz we know as opposed to living in an era in a society where you yourself are being basically programs and I’m not trying to talk about some sort of like cuz we don’t we can’t see it happening is happening in Plainview people to be trained to be a certain way so that’s why you were programmed to almost beat our own enemy and what we were going up with back in the day and I’m just going to help my do by David Guetta in the late 1980s I’m not going to beat around the bush here about that it was different we tried to communicate and understand and learn and educate and Shear in very different ways that did teach us a way to be in the world that I’m certain you will agree allowed us now we have success as I’d like free people quote the same doing and be because we’ve learned in in times in through methods that were popular then and almost unheard-of now up the punx to that brother yeah man it’s funny cuz this whole thing about fake news it’s like back in my day was all fake news what he’s talking about like you wouldn’t trust any new source anyway and there it is just as weird commingling now everybody being sucked into the Demi celebrity trip to of of the the platforms that make you yawn I’m I’m kind of in recovery from from drinking the Kool-Aid to man sex you want to keep up with it that we were ejected all that and anyway I don’t want to get hung up on that on that topic but I know that a lot of the suffering that you have disclosed to me privately comes from just being Dogpile on the internet you know yeah it’s because I started get rid of all those people where they got rid of me or with mutual or it wasn’t but either way it happens does it is disconnected people don’t make you feel good and just I just it’s Ash and it that have to happen if I feel personal about anything I ever did cuz I did was like face reality here but not always been an easy field person and that I had to use I have to push people away because of my own craziness and Highway but nonetheless coming to bite my tongue well yeah sounds like you have a healthy sense of taking responsibility for things as one thing I love talking about is if there’s no there’s no bifurcation really in your personality you know you are who you are and you don’t the candy coat that very often sounds like for people to get in love it or leave it for one moment I want to make a statement here at that you’ll agree it’s okay I’m completely I’m completely nuts and I’m definitely if you can put this in quotes but I mean I propose cuz it’s I think it’s a great courses true and in quotes right here I’m good crazy I think for the first time in my life like yeah so what I know this is a bit crazy like I can look so what about yesterday right now and tomorrow and the next day I could just make more good crazy happen I’m so sick and tired of that crazy and I could learn to hold burning down of everything so I could get rid of that bad crazy what do I do whatever I have to do including and a much to the weather for next to the disdain for the right word but it’s good enough I come from it with truth which makes it pretty hard core but also I’m doing it because I don’t want to have it be an issue anymore so that’s craziness go out of control on the internet and then have a V8 if you will occur Abernethy Bridge with some that is very necessary if you need to heal then so be it but I’m also purifying so deep deep traumatic abuse that I experienced and if I’m not going to have a really group of participants or people in my life is one of his old stuff it’s still going to come out and I sure as heck ain’t going to end my life because our or go crazy in a way that’s going to get me locked up in a bad way Lawrence OB I’m going to put my shit out there I’m going to speak the truth and I’m going to let let that be how people figure out what’s up what’s not what matters and what doesn’t button in no way shape or form do I do any of this because I want to it’s because healing comes from getting out of your system to things that aren’t making you feel toxic and that can include interpersonal stuff you can food a thousand different things and I and not going to be silent if being sounds will keep me sick so speaking truth whether its preferred welcomed or not it is actually putting an end to the hurt and that that does also result in and include who serving of ties with many sometimes it’s unfortunately intentional but who matters here for me more than me just like anyone anyone else is the matter for them most at first you need to matter to themselves first and then most importantly so that’s life and I’d rather just choose the most Ford and let the let the heck’s come because the more I get hit the more I’m sure I’ll Never Smile act like its neck and that right there I believe that everyone else had the world to learn how to do and it’s Graham said out of would never put this on lips Alston and Lasting here sorry I go on and on I’m not sorry actually grateful for that time the more people learn the Dakin’s like punched and kicked their way out of the traps that they feel themselves and that doesn’t mean that’s because if it’s a whole process of getting yourself to where you need to be I want everyone to know that everyone can do that it’s going to suck but if I can do this in a Hertz at continuing low I mean living evidence that you can continue to land on your feet than everyone else can too and I don’t care for what I have to say you can do to go live your life and do the best you can be in frankly that’s what I’m doing so fuck off but still please do your thing so you can have everything that I’m going to yeah that was a time and experience as each day goes forward to live in that happiness cuz I want it and you can have the same thing so like fuck I’ll see you later come on back whatever but piece that sounds good man well I know some people who were listening to same I feel kind of lost on what what it is what kind of dancing around here if you don’t know how I know you know you can obviously be as candid or as reserved as you’d like but I feel like it is I would say correct me if I’m wrong but in a broad sense you you stood up to seven justices in the world and that kind of cause the shitstorm of not okayness that week but you prevailed your okayness prevailed over there not okay Miss in the midst of a shitstorm online and not just on its just oh my God can you break that down for us to whatever extent you know isn’t they’re breaching confidentiality or probably not actually not in jeopardy. The funny thing check it out how about I have the moment there who doesn’t you think you have to do when you produce this thing later that they released you have to just two levels and now you know you might take a note oh my God yeah man and just try to keep it brief cuz I can’t be a maniac about this I got to try to come best light for my good for yours in the whole world that you’re you’re Mania Mania Maniac don’t know what was basically I got freaking screwed for doing my job and it’s okay I went to work I was working as a mental health worker I loved what I did and he might stem from the first report back to the Survivor background I was trained and frankly Grant I’m glad it all happened because I couldn’t I don’t have a day job working someplace and having a bad Vibe by the rules of the system which ultimately dictate working in another house feel like I was I was working at this mental health place that was running all about people live experience week we’re all certified peer specialist I love what I did and was your place different part of the state but I buy a new company little did I know that the guy I was working with what’s the sticker McDonald’s scary misogynist I wasn’t familiar with like that degree of creepiest and I was also supposed to be professional and I was getting paid and I had to work another place you working at the mental health worker you have to adhere to certain rules and guidelines of course cuz if you don’t I’ll call Nicole borders new teachers Nursery School teachers in a kindergarten doctors excetera East you have you aware of abuse of a person or in your care if you will or but you have suspicions of it which is also legitimate your required by law in laws law whatever you can take it or leave it what lies you believe in cuz look in the United States right now it’s crazy how ever this is something that we all hold true when you working in the in the human services are helping professions that said it was my requirements that I had no choice to make a report because there was a situation that just frankly was as it turned out was bad this is not an acceptable thing for some people that I expose this in a series of extremely disgusting things occurred and I ended up looking like the bad guy and they really made this The Narrative we will and papers well and ultimately they found out that the report I made was true they found out to the guy that I’ve reported was documented by independent clinicians Adams facility that didn’t work for a company contract in this pretty I’m kind of providers giving groups support groups and then they knew because my report was the same as theirs and they never put it to the facility that my report was already known so they knew they had a guy in there who was behaving a predatory waste for months for two months then he got caught again but but other people who documented the sexualised behaviour and once they had found out that my report was true of any of the guy who is the supervisor my supervisor without telling anybody. Even the assistant director of the HR Director secretly after I didn’t report and it put it back into the same place where I’ve reported what he was doing then he got caught again twice too much later I feel like I’m describing once they had knowledge that I was telling the truth well that wasn’t acceptable and that was the end was me as I knew it was the end of my career as I knew it it was the end of everything I knew and this is during the same time. That after 28 years of my life being intentionally harmed by psychiatric medication for the purpose of keeping me quite I was able to get off of all this I cash medications in fact with the insistence of a team that’s more than one psychiatrist insisting that it was a medication making me sick and they need to take all the diagnosis on my file and the whole nine yards man 20 years of my life on a bunch of bulshit give him his pills and you need sick many everyone throughout my life experience 28 years I mean tonight to you need when I met you in person at all the crazy thing happened at that show moving forward but this is all under the clown under the fog of psychiatric pills that were given to me to shut me out to keep me quiet about Happy with a child adapt a bunch of psychiatrist now when that time. Ike 2008 1314 look at my medical documents and look at me and look at the book I can read and look at how everything does not make sense and say you don’t have these conditions that you’ve been medicated for all your life that it was known you for 28 years as a person drugged you need to go out these pills cuz they are making you sick you’ll never have a chance to have a better life to continue to take the pill this is being sent to me of yet by psychiatrist is it we’re changing what your diagnosis on your medical record you do not have these conditions and I went and I saw my primary care physician in the file and right there just as they said debunks debunk ebox trauma course the charm is there cuz well that’s what happens if you 20 years to be confused this thing with the job is happening at the same time. That I’m getting off these pills and I’ve gone to heels with vinegar text mountain people that my community are angry at me also just left me for side of my job and then I go to Europe for the first time the person I was traveling with to give a presentation a t a take a conference I first time ever going to Europe dream come true after that conference I went into a sauna and Upsala I managed to me within 10 minutes my body had had basically detox rapidly and from it within the fat cells in my body after 20 years of taking psychiatric medication like tearing off the doctors help I did Poison myself in Riga Latvia and I was never the same since I started to slur my words and I was fried more more crazy stuff happen ultimately with all resulted from this is that I lost my home in January 2018 that’s my cat January 2018 I already lost most of my friends call these people thought I was crazy I got into Financial stuff also get social things like most my friendships are getting more and more the tax I lost a bunch of my personal stuff and most people like it truly care about and I still do you know what a live with no real idea what I’m going to do to try to listen to travel the world and find a way to create a new life find a way to connect with other people to find a way to Love by the way to connect by the way I create a new business and Nueva to survive using the foci are offered in different languages and also the English language like you crying and Kosovo you know it Poland and and giving presentations are in and talk circles in in in in you name it healing from trauma healing from abuse how to survive being possible he has been crazy sometimes I misunderstood all the time trying to learn how to be because I never learned as a child I never had a coming-of-age I was drugged for 14 on to all the cells have the same time I totally feel comfortable in my own country I don’t think I can work this is presents about me just like it’s like psychosis around me that like this guy why was he sick while he was mentally sick of these other word but in fact maybe I was drugged how can you explain to somebody week like that wasn’t you it wasn’t me but it looks like you sounds like you I can’t quite I said the pills pills were what were making me so fucked up or how am I supposed to know the difference your right respect all I can do is say you’re right you experience that crazy shit with me and that was real few doesn’t matter if it wasn’t me it was because of I was poisoned for my own good of course that’s what happened so I can only say goodbye and I can’t change that to this is the reality the past four years is always have these things happening in the world disconnected from people from people that have no more going to call ain’t going to call anybody you know is going to pick up that’s how do you find whis when you don’t feel comfortable in your own land cuz you your language is English it’s a dominant language in the world and and you’re a guy easy to just try to reconnect after all these years of chaos you supposed to be a certain weight verifications of you you can escape to past so what are you do what did I do what the heck out of there as I said travel the world very difficult very painful very lonely very hard very beautiful and in that 15 months how do they communicate with people with languages that we do not share what do you do how do you find your weight you can’t just go crazy like I did in a couple years was the way somewhere West getting killed in the airport in Paris I lost my shit you can’t do that you have to learn how to connect on a spiritual level that you can’t communicate people will know your energy just like a cat or a dog you can’t let them experience you went away that you’re going to be repelled by how you learn how to do that how do you learn that’s what you learned and that’s what the story that’s what the backstory is the backstory is a story it’s like five or six what’s it like in your own way with wreck somebody happening at the same time and just by the grace of whatever it is you believe I resulted it was Ulta didn’t me finally getting to the point of saying screw it almost going to go live why can Liz get a Visa they did and take a little money had and get a a place that was furnished and so I did and how I live in a community and I need some friends and that’s the story that’s that’s what you’re asking me it’s like a 15 minute monologue but that’s what the story is it should make enough sense of all this meat is missing tons of pieces that music house ugliness lost torture resulted and be speaking about all we have prior to keep me answering the question if it was up to them that being a store that I can talk about with a smile and with some sort of like humor because I know what resulted in like where I’m at now thank you so what is the advice you have for people who are whistleblowing in organizations where it sounds like sounds like you were is a recipe for disaster in that because anyone could say that your credibility under those circumstances everybody in a situation is the pot calling the kettle black and in a sense so for people who are direct me totally just a source of your strength to overcome oh my God it was it wrecked me I can’t believe them alive direct me so much that I’m laughing about it because it’s like well at the very least it’s always warm here like every piece of shit wasn’t nice to me back in Massachusetts I guess what in the winter you going to pay for that heat and for those of you out there who struggle so I don’t have to deal with that anymore thank you thank you I could have stand I’m coming around to this myself which is that I feel like there is there was a time where I felt like I had to go out there and I had to add jatate and and have a high risk tolerance and a high risk appetite for being involved in the potential for liability of the potential for things sort of backfiring it in in in in doing my work and now I feel like I survived some pretty epic chapters of risk and now I’m finding myself more risk-averse and less risk tolerant and wanting and actually being able to say no but I’d rather not put myself at risk by not that I’m totally disengaging from everything but I will say that that the the duty that I felt I had to be out there in the mix of a lot of chaos I don’t feel that that I feel like I I slay that Dragon I slay those demons and and I can live with myself comfortably not feeling like a coward and not feeling like I was avoiding those those efforts and I wondering if you feel now and it is something that make people can resonate with that they can learn powers that you know you don’t have to fight every battle you can choose your battles as long as you fight some battles and even if you don’t win you survive but you know you did what was right you don’t have to keep doing that forever and you can get yourself the fuck out and go and retire from The Madness of fighting a lot of struggles where it’s a losing battle sometimes and you can just enjoy the face so you know live to fight another day you know you know they say Don’t run you can run away and live to fight another day or you could stay in a place that you’re not going to get out of one piece nnn regret it so I don’t know just want to say that I congratulate you for for doing the right thing and then getting a fuck out of there before you did actually get completely destroyed you know yet well you know what me and your trusty Craig motherfuking Lewis you know that’s what happens when your trusty Craig fucking crazy person Louis I just don’t need that to be sampled probably just got myself some was going to have fun with me with that but that’s okay it doesn’t have a certain that what was the question Bedford just let me be me to take two more of a general commentary and sense of wanting to see the bigger picture which is that sometimes I guess I was seeing if I feel the same way about the politics of insurrectionary Street protests and you put yourself out there and you put yourself in a meat grinder lot of people do and they end up in really serious trouble that they didn’t bargain for that it’s not really sustainable certain forms of resistance are not really sustainable there’s new waves of of people who are going to come up into that but you have to know when to win to what’s the country song what’s the country song when you know how to hold them oh my God yeah it is you don’t talk about anything yeah yeah quit while you’re ahead and I was going to quit while I was ahead I should have just never done shit about the so I made a decision take out the stand on my two feet and stand up when I knew was true and for what I knew was the correct thing to do and to what someone ever did for me when I was 15 years old and then that horrible facility being feminized and section leak destroyed and and and humiliated and have a whole life taken when I was 15 in those two so they locked me up in just got too many times I had no way weather right I didn’t even know if I believe in the Universal God whatever they want to call it if I want to call it whenever I look to you for my my my my my my peace I didn’t know dude in 2015 that’s what I was doing that was a sending that to a better place cuz of what all I was experienced by me throughout my life but there was no way there was no way any any shape or form that I was going to permit and using my legally-protected role as a mandated reporter there was no way I was going to permit what I was witnessing happening in front of me to people who were the victim of assault and simple ways I was when I was a kid and when I was a kid I asked for help and no one helped me I would love to rot and take it there was no way and 2015 that I was going to break from my responsibilities and I just didn’t legal responsibility responsibility responsibility but the opportunity to make sure using my power that I had been given by becoming certified to work in the role of I had been working in there was no way I was going to go to deviate from that there was no way I was going helping that individual with a moment of peace when I was not afforded the very same thing that I deserve as much as everyone who’s ever been a situation like that woman was deserved and I stood in my two feet and I would do the same thing right now again because it was the right thing to do and I will always go to look myself in the mirror and a camera and whatever I never that was right now looking forward to move on and it doesn’t matter that like I got crushed in the process and it come on how many people are going to listen to this I thought his back but I want to hear about like awesome stuff like so what like what kind of fool of myself are so funny and it’s true what kind of fool thinks it’s a good idea business right now you all know them for one important reason it is important as a valid and it’s to be honored and respected but it does not mean you should do business-to-business okay and you don’t do people like yourself what’s a crazy people that word with deep affection Love because as professionally as I previously identified I want to be good crazy so maybe good crazy so that’s where I go to stay However maybe not everyone’s good crazy maybe I’ve not always been good crazy not truth what a terrible idea to work intimately with people cool ultimately it’s true cuz he went to humans ultimately it will save their own skin for doing the right thing because not everybody is not their fault it’s the reality is reality. Everybody grows up with like a street addict or knowing how it is to be closer to the bottom and I fortunately or unfortunately I am how you stated feeling perceive things many of the people that must have people that I was involved with what are of a higher class if you will or better way of living or a different kind of environment that allow after Sosa to delete it I never had it so I don’t blame them for Being Human but certainly did lack of understanding of what it meant to do what was right was more within me as a person who was straight talk and someone who grew up in just I guess nicer and perhaps more supportive of surroundings which I did not Amen brother that’s the truth right on that what I think yeah we should I think we should call it a show at I was at Adventure I was expected nothing less than and definitely you delivered on bringing bringing the the the healthy crazy that healthy and powered acknowledgement of what it takes in like hey was the word of of CO2 I remember that song Still if we’re never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy right so I believe that I believe it I feel it I’m the same way I’m definitely letting go on some innovations that have helped me back and I’m feeling more free and more wild and less less compromising to people who may not agree or understand what I’m trying to do and there’s a way to there’s a I think there’s a way you’re proving it and I’m I’m catching up to you honestly about getting to a point where you just you give no fuks about being a walk in your truth in speaking your mind and people don’t like it they can they can shove it up their okayness yeah and I’m okay with that closing statement a lubricated sex toy and gently massage it as they relax the sphincter into their anus until they filled okay no I don’t want to use shoving it up your ass says this is your word is because on the township on podcast we are all about putting the anus back into Okemos and putting the penis back into happiness all right have you seen the movie the interview Seth Rogen when they go to North Korea and they interview the North Korean dictator they say that they hate us cuz they ain’t us all the ants talk is that this is going to be listened to and I can ask around closing statement obviously my lots of curious people about Craig Lewis and better days and all this crazy nonsense stop podcasting a plus with all the craziness it’s hard to get work when you’re up when you’re allowed muffins supposed love for myself it’s awesome but all the people are the characters in the world I want to see I love you and I’m grateful for every person who has ever existed in my life including every person who has not been nice to me with every person who is abused me iPhone I am quitting the worst ones and I don’t want you all my life but I do forgive you because that’s the best for my. You’re my love for myself and also I just also think it’s very relevant necessary because I know this would be listen to cuz people whose voice and I’m staying right now will you love me or hate me or whatever it is it’s okay it’s okay because things have been crazy and I wouldn’t want to have to hang out with me sometimes the way things were but I can’t imagine being someone else it was horrible I was going through a living you know what I don’t want to say that word because I choose to like try to be better doesn’t mean that always succeed as you all know that you can I I’m grateful to be here today laughing about it crazy just going on I think some things that come out of my mouth that bow that’s pretty intense stuff sometimes I like using my brain is sometimes you say things that are little bit much so what I’m grateful to be here now I’m grateful to everyone if I’ve hurt your feelings or offended somebody will the problem with a reason but I also feel like that’s not okay so I do apologize for being hurtful because when you’re fighting a battle and you feel like you’re you’re experiencing or you’re proceeding being under some sort of Oppression you do things are sometimes don’t always make sense and you fight me ways that not everyone’s going through Fluevog so I will recognize this truth that goes for everybody including how I’ve communicated with you in the past and I have not been easy so this trip this accountability this acceptance of yes it’s not been pretty getting to this place and I am I in a gray spot now I’m working on it and it’s because I chose to be what I wanted to be and I tried to walk my talk and my Straight Talk sucks sucks sucks so I’ll leave you with this liked my dear friend and be host to talk about just suggested you can just get that lubrication and like jet me like take care of with best the love that you deserve because you deserve to feel good inside and however you find a way to feel good inside I know the tundra parked behind and I think it’s fair to say that I’m behind that to oh my God that sounds crazy that wasn’t even planned that I’m sorry but yeah oh my God I think it’s happened in my brain and that was thank you Universe this is crazy I don’t know what to say if it doesn’t get any simpler than put the anus in Okemos and put the penis and happiness and we will all be living in it beer peace more peaceful or more fulfilling more abundant world man so I think that’s that’s that’s what I asked what it comes down to and and I store is the next time I bought the world travels but that’s what I thought that’s what the best and I want a wonderful rest of your evening and we’ll be in touch again soon I love you so much and I love you so much for listening to the touch of Time Podcast please go to www.crunch.com and cook on the Donate button to help support the show in addition assassini and improving the podcast for donations will help establish permaculture goddess Temple after bite ecological employment for single mothers Please Subscribe and share your favorite episodes if you have questions or comments feel free to leave a voicemail at 818-275-1593 or email said I turned your punk. Dr. Thomas Clough Daffern Pic
In this episode I’m joined again by my favorite Tantric scholar Dr. Thomas Clough Daffern for another adventure in tantric studies. He shares a list of practical steps that the modern peace loving tantrika can take to apply theories and philosophies of ancient tantra towards holistic, sustainable, enlightened activism today.

Com and our journey together will begin podcast episode number 196 I am very gleeful right now because I’m being joined Again by Thomas cloth diaper and who is the director of The International Institute for peace studies and Global philosophy of foremost Huntress collar and initiated practitioner of a vast array of spiritual paths and above all a secret of Truth and we had a wonderful time exploring in Loveland and enlightenment’s with peace and loving and alignments on the previous episode that was episode number one for sex where we get more into his background and how I discovered his work and and mainly it I’ll say that it it’s the academic overview of Tantra video on YouTube that connected me with his work and I just feel very blessed that we’ve been able to 2 s pecan the podcast before in the past and now he’s got some new sort of bundle of insights and and wisdom is going to share in the thesis of Applied Tantra what do you do next after you achieve some of the enlightenment’s that are so so sad after and so we’ll get into all that good stuff yeah we’ll just get into Seventh Son was fun stuff and just say thank you Thomas again for joining us and how are you doing bring us up to speed with you again and Tom love you think of you all the way over there in California which I think we might have mentioned last time is probably descended from the goddess Kali in California is taken from a novel that was produced in Spanish if it was in the hands of the people that when they would stopping it at 889 this place California but do you know of Us 2 taking it from India so in the lineage of the land of Kali before the day that I I like to say that I teach out of what I call the University of California so you know right well I we also got a picture to to to connect sometime it’s an important I’m here we’re living in Kali Yuga I said let’s try and make it have a happy let me just stop with my female country what do I mean by that so as I said when we were discussing this before that time that’s what I mean it’s really it’s it’s a methodology you realize that I’m just likes playing gin in a suburb of the toolbox it’s it’s it’s not exactly a technology as Morrison of operational approach to achieving Enlightenment which is there many many practices many techniques a different time for teachers and production lineages emphasize different ones but what they all agree on this is there is so much okay that’s an endpoint that’s a goal which makes them coated license in English I think we should stop to her license and license because they’re different types of Enlightenment and I started a discussion about that I’ve written a book called in license while you compare and contrast indictments from different lineages different Traditions some Enlightenment sleeve you die without a body floating up in some Buddhist fear some Enlightenment sleeve you in a whole different Heaven World off this planet I think what’s me transfer does it mean to actually here now getting that leaves you in bodhi’s what I like about 10 chicken light much as it’s not antibody it’s not leave the body lets let’s embrace the wisdom of the body lets knowledge about it and then live in like flies so the question that arises what what do we do in and let’s say we relax and we’ve tried we practice time from the faulty as we’ve had numerous consorts we’ve seen into the eye of the blah bed and we reached some kind of indictment experiences and here we are walking the streets in LA or London or Paris where do we go next so that’s what I’m starting from that’s kind of a plaid Tundra that’s what I mean by it makes sense to say all this stuff I’m resonating with can I I love to hear Let me hear the way you’re you’re putting it together and in structuring it in that makes a lot of sense is it where do you where do you go from the point of a level of self-mastery and self-discipline and then being in the body being in the in the world and also being in Irvine and Dad Bagnell path is some people would say right away one of the things about some time to realign which is he’s not a selfish alignment holding this feel self it’s it’s for the benefit of the planet Liberation whole beans so I’m a kind of mess up my on a practitioner and I believe that in what have a marriage you accumulate whatever wisdom or like money looking like for your own practice the point is to give it away and then and then in turn those people give it away and then the end will give you the way I did in the end we become a plant cancel Planet so I’m going to spray some classical economy of Enlightenment what will a planet look like after we’ve done this where you know I’m sort of thinking ten steps ahead what will it look like I’m so that’s where we coming with this this I just replied okay so I’m well as I said in the beginning I was about sixteen or so different fields where I think I would like to flag up I mean you can probably think of you’re able I didn’t soften I misses a growing it’s the beginning of a conversation between us. So let me go for my number one then the tub would work through the weekend will make it as many parts is the number one point about Tantra is the along with a few I have a spiritual Miniatures on the planet but not enough of that not many of them translation of the Goddess has a sacrosanct we talked about this I think last time I’m in in many parts of the religious world end of the goddesses being totally Rick Mausam history and you know that’s how you gonna. Stats Temple worship. See you in a bit. Talk about it and I know that long ago in European in America and pretty much every country around the world people are being burned being go to switch because they’re being put in the Flames as which is so it’s only relatively Reese play that that you can actually come out and say no hey I’m going to swear if I am not expect to be stuck in the father still quite a few countries in the world where where you will be prosecuted and princes in Saudi Arabia visit apartments for the prosecution and persecution of Witchcraft and they say there’s a team of pirates and train people that go from house to house searching for evidence of being in a which evidence can be bunny a candle in the saying and I doing yoga or something but it’s like minimal which you can be arrested with an even kill so I’m not so anyone country they’re all the countries where this is going on so say when I say tempura sauce from the facts of the coldest it’s still at you know it’s still quite a dangerous path in some parts of the world which is why I think Christ’s teaching he said be as innocent but as wise as a serpent so you one thing you should do if you reach a degree of Enlightenment Sun you’re wondering when it’s a taken to want to do is you should try and stay alive which means that you you know sometimes you have to like to see me like you have to pretend not to be in like just to kind of gun with a hug and has a tradition in in Sufism and in other Easter Traditions whether it’s okay sometimes you have to do that I’m going to have talked about that and you sometimes have to like pretend to be normal. But I I think that if you’re clever wise it’s possible to to come out with it a minute you can call yourself an artist get away with a lot of people in and west of All American European on people now I’m quite sure I hate my Pro see how you can get away with quite a bit and if you’re exempt if you say if your if your poor your crazy if you’re rich you eccentric so you’re nauseous then you can basically do anything if you’re hard as you can break you don’t have to be rich if you can get away with being accessory muscle reality, not started in the sentence in that time trick mean you’re not far from where I’m based speaking to in France some of the very first Paleolithic awesome McCabe’s I’m off the door during area in in France in at thirty thousand years ago shamanic Arts animal style fits over a tantric and so I began in what shape I mean absolutely 100% so that is where all comes from and you know it comes from this word a word that means to interconnect things are is an Indo-European roots in the word reason and ratio and other things and it means joining you try spotless hundreds of words in English with Outreach and they will have something to do with interconnectedness joining us before the the tra on the end it’s kind of embarrassing oversleep up so anyway the fact is is number one for what we’ve got to be doing as tantric practitioners in an issue signing up for women’s rights this is one of them since the first area of activism to get into their many countries in the world where women are being with you still physically and mentally I just being plugged into a new campaign against in. Child Brides you know it’s incredible that we have to do this but but they’re all countries in the world where men older man come in illegally take nine 10 11 year old girl from her parents called her his wife and set her up as a domestic slave I’m she has no education she has no right to go out the house in case I know this is a whole different tradition went where young younger women O’Connell’s of pushing the temple and worship that’s different that’s what we were talking about abusing that that that female this and then the examples of countries in the world where any displays of erotic you know love by a woman or gold young girl is it still safe and sound control today fuel Court’s holding hands street with your boyfriend that’s what I’m kissing and being in the street let’s say you’re on a park bench overlooking see your film the court kissing you both get whipped for that like you know 80 Lashes in I discovered this is true in the United Arab Emirates family charm complaint Street to India I find it incomprehensible that you know just as a small bit of affection being Shine by Kyle or woman will result in this kind of violence and I think these are things we need to campaign on my role as a philosopher is the campaign philosophically so I’m working on a country on the cool ROM if you want to turn Graco Dry Ridge, traffic or explaining that it’s it’s this whole thing has been a misunderstanding and that’s you know a lot doesn’t actually and I want that kind of treatment for women so anyway that’s my first thing is no more violence to women and allowing the coldest to flourish and come out in every single barrel I have three daughters you know I tried to be a good father a nap raising children do you have kids I don’t I have been sort of a godparent to sort of co-parent community parent I’ve decided to reproduce culturally more than biologically actually had a vasectomy when I was 28 Aster SF you ill fated miscarriages and abortions and just situations in lower lower Realms of Consciousness set younger ages and where they were bad drugs involved than bad circumstances pretty much also felt that there was something something curse it about my bloodline and mdna and sort of the neurotic Tendencies of the whole family to where I felt I was doing Humanity a service by but I’m very much in dr2 a lot of phone independent, independent mother’s now and I’m working to give them a percentage of my income and sort of distributor on a triage kind of mess Urology to where there can be a treasury for women who are mothers who were escaping from abusive relationships with their quote baby daddies and for them to have the financial means and that the physical security and emotional support mutually to where we’re flipping the script on marriage and in looking at more of a binding contracts amongst independent mothers who can who can basically interact with with the masculine and with the men in their life in the actual flow of the way men operate which is it off and they come and go and so and then that could be taken a number of contacts you can be taken literally they come and go and a community center in and out of life so that the notion of I mean this is a little bit of attention but I will say that my in a my evolution of of thinking about patriarchy and the origins of family private property in the state and all of that stuff is that we’re in the book sex at dawn and the more research coming out about just that the human things that would be considered very suspect about the way we look at we naturalized monogamy and things is just like well if women if women were in collectives where they actually owned their property and they can grow food and they can grow their medicine and they could basically reweave that witch cult sort of fabric then the men would be the men would would be more like vulnerable males where they have to really offer something of value and they have to be on their best behavior to even to to get laid in so they don’t just have this carte blanche inherited patrilineal sort of dominion that they don’t even have to like learn on a generational basis it’s just like you’re given the power to dominate until press and every every in in the every woman is exploitable at whatever level of barbarism your culture is is remaining at toot toot to get away from that you and I really feel like it’s about empowering women financially and giving them Land Titles and giving them the resources that means to like build moats around their communities in negotiate very very strategically how they want and how they allow men to have the privilege of participating in the raising of what will no longer be considered their children because it when women are allowed to have multiple sex partners then it gets really difficult to track who the the paternal line is so you have the shared paternity thing and men are just going to say well you know we have our boys Camp over here and we do what we do over here and then when we want to let go and deliver something of value you know an offering to the goddess Temple where it where n n n n n be involved in the lives of the children who are the community children then it’ll be on the terms of their mothers and that that that that that was bad it’s like a very interesting mother it sounds a bit like a Starhawk Snowville The Fifth Element but I haven’t read that at that exact stick what will California be like in a few hundred years after the nuclear war and blah blah and it’s kind of what so what was the book you mentioned some sex and sex at dawn by Christopher Ryan it’s become sort of like the best seller kind of introduction for people into the Paleolithic patterns of ancestral love 10 or maybe at least 10 years later to see first published 2010 yet. Stork origins of modern sexuality is a book doing the evolution of monogamy in humans and human mating systems angle song on the family of the origin of okay so that’s not starting interesting what you’re saying I mean I still think they might get it within that context that’s how people can come you don’t have have contracted while Michael wisdom if a c and I one on one. They might choose. With even within that context and I don’t know the whole I don’t think there’s a whole conversation which we wouldn’t have time to get into but the way the legal system reproduces a patriarchal Linea you know I made a sortie in each generation because if you you know if you try and stand up outside. System and the lower quartile quotes comes against to United States interesting what happened to rajneesh Osho when he went to Oregon and then she knows the Lord and you see that that very very famous now film series wild wild country that came out not too long ago I didn’t think about that was it was about the yeah then the hold on some Yahtzee compound in the whole Legacy of it and they interviewed people who on both sides of the conflict you know locals and health officials and I don’t know I’d like to do more research on on really the I mean you just came out of nowhere and it’s it’s such an important story to understand Ryan. and now it’s part of the Zeitgeist so now I like most people don’t even know how Township we initiated they are because they watch that and it leaves a lot of open questions as to you know who who to side with it’s not it wasn’t I guess I would say I’m going to withhold my comments on it but I would definitely say it’s like anybody who is especially because now you’re going to start hearing people talk about this on the street and People Like Us who’ve been here buried in our practices and and and studies to bridge that that sort of fun cultural Gap so yeah I think those use lure of legalism to enforce their the Loveless view of society in his property with his property is is the Madonna see that coming from and that was what was done against fractionation the end like he was legally pass a key to the house of the USA Spanaway Moving On by the brings me to my second point of the 16 which is the arising out of the facts of the cold ass is is too juicy to work for this is something that I as you know I run a peace Studies Institute am I posed at the foremast of my unite my work and I’m I’m not being inspired by lots of people in travel well America I came on a study Tour the States and not 1992 I’m actually kind of bleeding or as many of them as I could I could let me text Spence and peace studies Robertson’s Ready came to California I went to interview people apparently I’m time in La you know who was doing what I can piece studies and time I think that piece becomes Immortal GT it’s it’s if there’s one thing you could do with Patrick Enlightenment is a lie. I got pretty much into that because I was when I was graduating from the University of London I got involved with the team I think I told you maybe last time off I was young in a graduate but these were old professors and landed people that both gender has he been out this game for years trying to set up a peace Studies Institute within the University of London which is the biggest university in the English-speaking world I was given the job to bring the signal to me and Tom that’s why I came around sites what’s California interviewed everybody else still go to the tapes stuff and I got very deeply interested in in the religious side of peacemaking which led me is United to create the first mediation service that deals with interface disputes say when it’s it’s just got to be done I’m done quotes its know that we have one because the planet is still dying from a thousand wolves and people we speak but the thing that guides me in was where I was when I discovered cuz I love that emoji that the word Pax peace comes from packs in Alanton who was it called ice packs was a good ass so that is the kind of iconography off of white pieces impulsive and it was Augustus he was troll has since he was a great man he built a huge Temple and adults have two packs to go to S which he opened so I think that’s an oversea peace in every religion’s sacred it’s it’s it’s that scapy song Let’s Get piece and every single most synagogue or Temple Gurdwara Grove Druid Grove where am I and then we can go we can Elevate our discussions a difference it’s so much more sophisticated plane at the moment it’s very awkward the conversation military Simon weapons and research getting into high-tech wall making a list stuff and covet wolf fighting I don’t know if I remember when we last talked that we talked about my treaty on side by piece I don’t think so but that is very exciting to me because I’ve got to be fully evolved into cybersecurity crypto space so that please time since we lost talk time we’ve we’ve had some very weird stuff came down here in person you were with okay so we had we had a we had people in Salisbury accusing Russian Spies of trying to poison with neurological weaponized are the people called The Script out father and daughter and he went all the way up front secretary getting up in Russians were tried to kill our people men’s and ladies if you know the media holset turbo Russians it sold at Falls and the Russians to close tonight and said no it’s actually not as we think it’s you making a false flag operation say that then you can like attack Syria because of course everyone will be in at attacking Russia which is the main I live Syria so it’s all the covet operation so here I am watching movies and I’m simple taneously in conversation with Russian philosophers who I match my respect. Couple times and I’m thinking who do we trust in this kind of constant propaganda and side I drafted which way the bison and help from other colleagues around the planets including the Russians and Americans the first draft of what is called the international side of a piece and it’s it’s what I’m proposing is that the way to stop you see walls and no longer just being forthwith in a Mason soldiers firing guns that’s rather old hat there now for by people and computers station to Lowell Noble Finance hacking into a destroying each other and I stopped and there was I being fought with worms getting into labs in cyberspace so that’s a check to see what I’m saying is we need to sign a peace treaty I dropped it is I can send you a copy and always do that would be great I’ll definitely read it on the show if it’s appropriate in Neenah you might think of things I missed out what what I will say this quite interesting is that time the media Kohl’s have already picked up on this I ain’t nobody talks about a however escoffier was signed by about 10 or 20 leading intellectuals around the planet he signed it I write you and second person beside the including from Israel in America and Russia Britain and the Russian guy is quite intellectual he’s he’s probably go somewhere close to me because Peach and is always being accused of like being the worst cyber terrorists in the universe but I don’t know I spend all I know is that at the UN secretary-general opening of the UN session last September the Russian foreign minister lavrov he’s a very sophisticated guy and he said I believed it from the time she wants to propose is an international cyber peace treaty any woman’s took the words for my document and he said they would be discussing it tonight with a security Council so I was I was quite chuffed I mean if they are spying on my stuff they’ve stolen it to some effect number 17 is said to your Tantra is open source technology with the license to for people to share that you said eat when you share it and need the gift is to share with others are going to working with with peace on the tree of life is such a Santa since you want people copy that you want them to see it because because what you’re trying to give away is love say that the more that the guys around the better for all of us in the long run it’s like a bee husband is still this treaty instead I mean everything I’ll be saying from now on is peace oriented but I just want to flag out that’s the kind of number one thing that’s great a new thing I’m wishing on I’m I’m I’m I’m happy to give this one away even at eighty nights Klang you and maybe some of that book about peace magic which is the first ever attempt to create some conscious Croft kind of spell meditation tantric you know that either individuals or couples or groups canoe specifically around peace okay I mean I find it incredible that there isn’t such a book out there was such a sense of teachings and I’m really really enjoying I wanted to be ready practical kind of manual say that anyone in any city or country Forrestal grave anyone on the planet can I get this book and then do some spells do some work immediately it’s about orientation it’s about motivation it’s about how to how to transmute your own psychic energy potential to affect the Wild and I had a piece on jasonway say that I’m enjoying that it’s a new thing of a c I think you know I got this title and the Beast Druid breaking that you were upset with Drew it is simply the Gated for magician okay it’s just it’s a magician right but the magician itself is simply the term of the Magus which came from zoroastrian texts so the Magus and the Druid are exactly the same time when the Gaelic translation of the New Testament was stopping Irish it has three main guy coming to baby Jesus I on Christmas Eve and Christmas night in at the three the three sorry not no Christmas II PS2 me the three main guy that sent out with that free gifts in sense and Cole Truitt and me and the Gaelic translation of the New Testament it’s really a druid manual on how to do piece metric awesome and I just think it’s okay with you I mean why do I have to do all this stuff to sleep LOL how about to Proclaim video games these days oh well actually my first book Is is being edited right now and actually maybe one or two podcast before this one we did me and the editor did a podcast just to talk about sort of behind the scenes of the process of me writing the manuscript and him going over it in a sort of having this some just started out about four or five hundred pages of pretty much just lab reports and and I’m almost academic kind of Quasi academic journal entries and notes from a bunch of different psychedelic shamanic tantric experiences with various people places and things over over the course of my lifetime and then he was able to actually restructure it and make it into a more elegant kind of more romantic more digestible novel format sci-fi kind of Novel format so that it’s called psychedelic goddess worship ask erotic memories from the Astro Battlefield so going down before that the the goddess and in finding healing and end in learning to become you know nature nature enthusiasts and people who want to to be in service so it’s ya in the spirit then I would say this year it’s definitely a lot of fun of reconfiguration on the part of the editor see you here at him there myself Sunday I’m going to be standing piece magic to him I will just drop me off on do you will name that’s my stage name but you’ll be one of the first to know for sure that you enjoyed definitely trip yeah no no keep me posted on that I’m thinking of Ina Dennis McKenna book the Brotherhood of the screaming Abyss right turns McKenna’s brother I love his work in a similar kind of thing fascinating okay so I want to move on to the fourth thing which is it’s kind of like a bronze roof of Peace magic but it’s also I think and decide which is the whole question of sex sex you magic and add why that’s important to mortgages and how we do it and whether we do I enable the tension of the last how to get me some kind of to be subject Avenue you like in in certain circles as you begin to think it’s a hugely empowering conversation to start having as a planet at the process of the products of our parents sex Magik Which Wich in that created a specialized that enabled us to take Incarnation if you look up embodiment as a as a sexual 10 forgot to successful sex Magik which each year because of we should reverence this thing and Every Act of Love Making should be an active Sex Magic in my opinion and for which people need no tonight have to do that today and they need to understand what prayer is that I need to understand what the tension is and what time references people like sex but they don’t understand what it is I mean I used to be head of sex education in several schools in England as a secondary school teacher a job is to DNA bringing people that won kids about the kinds of diseases you can catch if you don’t wear a cumberbund so you have nurses and shine pictures of genital warts kids into behaving properly it’s just very low-level isn’t worth I think it’s and I’m kids really want to know about all this stuff and I think they they intend for education in the sense of consciously reverently making love of learning spouse and honoring the goddess of the cause of the male female elements should be part of any childs not to say, beige Cuba said beyond so I think school education should should should and I would say it’s an important part of everybody’s best friend the fact that it’s not there in the curriculum is is why the planets they screwed up and I missed it I mean we have a world where it’s acceptable to invent bombs to blow up cities of millions of people there Engineers working in in a Britain France America Russia right now to make a bomb that can destroy all about Moscow Paris and yet we talked about even a fraction of that to research into the nature of love and sexuality and Anthem a magic well I think I’m from the future because where I come from the priorities are very different to me that’s that’s what I’m trying to say why it’s important as a tradition of time to the to the to the future of this is a really interesting line of inquiry because I’m 100% in agreement with you and I guess I’ve become almost sadly so jaded and cynical to to be very I guess should be less bold in my in my hopes realistically fruit for what will happen in the more standard curriculum ahead and I’ve had a number of conversations with folks throughout the course of the podcast talking about how just teaching female the female anatomy and teaching the female arousal cycle and in just a very clinical aspects of a more balanced I guess Bridging the orgasm Gap is 1 1/2 inch of sex education that and so and so with with the biggest the biggest I’ve ever heard this a lot which is that I feel like well if we’re ever going to free the nipple and if we’re going to stop commodifying women’s bodies and basically metering out these units of pornography for sale and units of excessive exposure to fully you notes topless women in all of these Enterprises that often are criminal that are various levels but all these Enterprises that that profit on the damming of the middle experience of the nude available sensual and erotic size female form that there’s such an economy around that I mean hundreds of billions of dollars around just the fact that a boy’s mind is not bucking if you compare that to an indigenous Society where nobody wears clothes then there’s absolutely no frustrated desire around breasts there’s no there’s no distorted and contorted notion of accessibility of the visual stimuli other woman’s body and Sol to me that it’s like the if you just look at how distorted if we if we look at that and remember when I remember this was years back when I pop top top of the charts pop singer Janet Jackson had her nipple burst forth from her outfit during her Superbowl performance and it basically shock the world and I can only imagine how many people died of heart attacks at the moment that happened but you know that they’re hurt whoever it was your lawyer PR agent they basically put the spin on the public apology that it was a quote it was a quote to wardrobe malfunction and I think it was a few days later on I’ll make this one of those nights you as I think it was Jay Leno or Dennis Miller somebody say that I was making fun of it and it making poking fun at the whole system when he said you know so that the final report is that the department of wardrobe security is now going to be instituted help prevent these disasters from happening again something completely absurd right over the top with who is joke about it but the comment. It is on that and I feel like throwing up at 10 to hear but the thing that what I like about what you’re saying and what I really did need for more enlightened sex Educators to figure out me the weak points in the armor of his picture cool system so that we can skillfully consciously and end in Legally sort of family Pride I’m trying to price vegetation system where the advice when we were kids again I feel that life is some at some point. Sounds good one why it’s important to think about these these car make seasonal so that this notion you have about I really like this about the I mean for me it seems like almost in an insurmountable task to to just get even the most clinical aspects of teaching the female anatomy and its full Glory which is science you know there’s so that the medical sign even happening in in the American school system can be prevented it would be places where it’s absolutely all you can teach is the like what you’re saying that the negative aspects if we can you can teach I can basically the file pregnancy functions but basically you learning about how the male ejaculates in but not about it’s like if you want to have a successful conscious conception then it behooves you to spend time doing the the the work and arousing the woman fully so that all of her juices are flowing all of she’s fully biologically receptive to the experience and if you she’s closed down because of this like a 30-second you know friction experience that’s very painful and then her whole physiology basically shuts down and there’s not you’re not going to be as effective so even if they were just going to teach you about a gift I’m sure it on farms they have they have some sort of magic about how they cuz they care to have a survival with your direction you know I mean you know who this is not the right time to take but I know what you’re saying there’s some female sexual nice and Maze is pretty soon as a woman but he’s written a book called Eve secrets of the book she’s cooled something something loud Lowndes she’s trying to read we describe the female clitoris I’m watching TV is as an organ and what is shape is someone for the most part if they’re treated well and respected and then contracts are here too and they know what they’re getting into and hopefully they’ve matured and hopefully their brain has developed to its full capacity IE the age that it takes to actually I don’t say that to you so you better know there’s a dimension of Ethics when it comes to harvesting teenagers for your for whatever in that and I have had some of the best sex of my life as a 30 year old being fucked up fucked senseless by teenager in a monogamous relationship and I will I will tell you that it’s it some it was worth the daddy issues that I had to deal with it was worth reparenting her and it was worth every bit of emotional kind of awkwardness that there wasn’t some of the MX because she was such a good full spirited Prime late night it was funny cuz I was like settle you down and basically like I could teach your making a kid with ADHD sit in class is like no she wants to fuck wildly she wants you to perform more than you possibly ever could even at 30 and and she and she is not she doesn’t need these esoteric practices too heavy multi-orgasmic she’s fucking coming or brains out like so hard and I and I couldn’t sit her down the aisle still enough to do any of the practices that I thought were going to be so enlightening and went in the great thing is is it a fuck it like it is certain point you just say no guru there’s a song about it’s like no guru no no scripture No play just in the Dow of the thing so anyway so that’s a side note to say there is a sacred place for adult for fully mature brain develop adults to be having sex with teenagers and and I know that it can be done because I’ve done it but it also takes you can’t just treat them like a commodity please you got to you got to think about pedagogy Nikki learned from the person that you’re teaching teaches you things to like a circle so then so we’re talking about these ethics and where I wanted to just close that point about how I do my best to not be a cult leader I thought I figured it out pretty simply and correct me if I’m wrong but basically it’s it’s I dare you to to indict me for the the criminal and civil liability of misconduct for for for structuring a certain way so this is how I this is this is very simple as this is like this I said that this is a different the difference from a cult leader is that I’m a porn director I pay women to be directed and then I pay whoever I want to I will I will I will choose performers who I resonate with for whatever we would like to do together to make beautiful art and and I will compensate them and pay them to take time out of their lives to be a part of my design and to be directed by me they’re not paying me for healing for enlightenment for direction for guidance and I’m directing them and Meghan gratifying myself and taking their money in convincing mind fucking them and taking more of their money and more than money until they don’t talk to their friends because of and that’s how Colts are basically extractive from their students the colors are extracting from their devotees the difference is how many colors do you know that actually give their devotees money I will pay you oh now I’m making corned a porn director and I am more karmically correct than the fucking Guru who is fucking having people kiss his feet and take your money so who would have thought that the corn directors were the most enlightening Yogi’s to ever attempt to be divine and I have my favorites and I’m a fan of some of them I want I want to see the names but right now but that cuz I wouldn’t want to leave any out you know what I mean bless you all for paying people to direct them into your Twisted fucking fantasies and giving them that dignity like hats of their not wondering about it cuz there’s that was having a conversation today it’s like a buyer’s remorse if I say to you I’m just saying if you remember when you had to if you were old enough to know that there was a day when when when your allowance equals one CD for $15 so humorous if you never had experience this is important I think this is important teaching is important teachable moment is that is that and I don’t want to be today. Take care no man’s planning anything in them to have fun here but this is like this is this is late so here’s the funny thing though you think about I remember what it was like when I had to convince myself that amusing that a CD that fucking sucked was actually good because I paid money for it and I would not let myself suffer the indignity of having made a mistake so I was in a state of denial and delusion so so so feeling this isn’t meditation okay everybody think of something that you paid money for that you discovered was in the zoo is suboptimal and you used mental gymnastics to convince yourself that you actually liked it even though you knew deeply that you didn’t like it but it was called buyer’s remorse it was called the sunk cost fallacy of sunk cost fallacy is that because you invested something into this you have to continue beyond the point of no return because you can’t live with yourself other ways so that is this Twisted perverse placebo effect that happens when it’s like I went to the sex guru to get healed and he said for 9999 I would get here and but I but I could also upsell to the bonus extra double healing deluxe super Cosmic Crystal trademark excetera right thing and try before you buy money back guarantee accessories that you’re all of his legal he’s in fine print all the stuff but there is but that’s where it is we’re expecting to have some result that you paid money for and you will question whether or not okay did I was a hole in my heel did I pay enough money to pay more and some money and it is it distorts things and you did it it did contaminated in a way for that so I’m skeptical that I can be done right in that sense and that’s just me so what I say let’s work in the garden together my time equals your time and now we’re planting trees equals an hour of Yoni massage your prostate massage and therefore it’s a flat equal everybody has the same it’s his first come first serve you know and orgasms for work shirts that was my hand jobs for Humanity and helping a tree with two or so you’ll see it yeah it’s a white paper was written so is he ever gets faster so so that’s how I’m not going to be a cult leader is that I’m not going to charge people money to be Pawns in my game of or are you going to be players in my Game of Thrones Township Township twister you will get paid handsomely to be in my theater my game of Township twister and you can quit you can get any time you know that’s that’s that’s the thing to you won’t be like oh if I walk away now you know that then where I’m not like what I paid for I’m I’m already invested so much forever so so many different dynamics of of incentivization happening in this thing is so anyway that that was I think it is important to lay that out and and this is probably the first time I’ve articulated it on the podcast but I just was having this conversation today with this answer the CD metaphor thing where it’s like you know it did that it’s it’s a problem that way so so that’s I will not be extracting money from people in that in that way I’d rather pay them to be in my in my Productions and feel better about it that way so getting back to the fun stuff in the production itself so imagining that that would be the way from now on where I’m like if you want to that’s basically what I just described about that circuit of three people as a minimum to starting point is like that is the that is first base now you know that’s first base because getting into the circuitry of actual intercourse that’s where it required that’s where we get into the medical the medical responsibilities aspects and we get into more of the karmic sharing we’re really swapping scum he’s on an astral level at that point more so than if it’s an outercourse thing and you can’t go back once you know I don’t want to sound like a prepaid only sound like a six- future but but they were right about this mean you’re not wrong about everything they’ve had no sex for anybody ever. Is not the solution to people having sexually transmitted demons running rampant all over the place and it’s about making them your friends and making them work for you not against you and making them expose themselves properly and in you know where it’s not a pure realm we are not going to be perfectly protected in fear we can strive for that and we can use Kundalini and Prana and mantras and all of our medicines in purgatives and things to create a cleaner vessel to make more harmonious more resonance more signal-to-noise ratio and that is what to me this is all about and why we are missing out so badly to not be like I see this if God is wanted you got it for not created to nipples I can’t suck both nipples at the same time I tried some women I can do it on I’ve done it and you can do it some women is possible but for the most part so what does that mean what are you do do you limit God or do you just find someone else to be on the left or right side of you you know what is the big deal so when I think about this math equation how many erotic how many out of the box meaning not really the selective like subjective nuanced little erogenous zones that people get overtime in our lives but the out-of-the-box everybody is wired this way count how many erogenous zones you have and how what is the minimum number of mouse penis and genitals or fingers are human appendages required to simultaneously stimulate all those places it’s more than one person I can tell you that much you know so I just want us to start there and be creative in 2N to learn how to understand that we’re missing out and we should be wanting to gamify maximizing human potential for orgasmic pleasure because that is exorcism orgasm equals exorcism in some cultures who are Les Les Mis Sara Lee poetic about the floury discourse of symbols about sex life like a Latin American Shaman is said about her sexuality in the end in her how she explained why monogamous marriage was not really a thing in a culture that permitted extramarital sex and it was that in her mind and I am not going to say her name to cool her but I will say to paraphrase the essence of this wisdom is that to her mind it was just like an orgasm is like taking out the trash and that is not that’s not to say that it is mundane or a chore it is that it is a responsibility of hygiene in your household of your body Temple you need to have orgasms they need to be fulfilling need to get the job done and that is the exorcism aspect of it so the howling screeching all of these things that are considered that witches were burned forming figli sounds that those are the sounds of actual Holiness the set of holy the sound of Holiness is a woman’s orgasm and so let’s make those come more abundantly and let’s utilize map map the erogenous zones out of the box and then map the additional ones that are my favorite song and when you talk to me like this and this certain place I’m in the back of my head there whatever and then everyone has their own map so we can learn each other’s maps and if you don’t know your own map then you can ask people to help you there’s people who would love to lick and kiss and touch you and head to toe to find and explore you and and from a breasted state of consciousness D nice and yes I like to will you bring out the best in me that’s all I think that’s all you guys add that I can’t top that is the way to end so then really that was we didn’t even know that we put the icing on the motherfuking cake by saying you bring out the Best in Me so there was a documentary about at the peak of my desire to become a a rock star in the the crust Punk metal genre grindcore all that fun stuff I was studying that I wanted to understand and clock the music industry so I was watching every documentary I could find understanding music marketing and all the stuff and then I found this great documentary about about Jimi Hendrix and and I believe it was his fiance at a time who later became his wife if I remember correctly and she was talking about the time where he was building momentum and getting lots of gigs but still underground and she said something that stuck with me forever and if this moment which is it basically the hidden tension was used turn Express yeah we we all knew he was going to get sign or we all knew that you was going to take off he was going to blow up and so she said it was just about if someone puts put the icing on the motherfuking cake you know and I know and I felt that we we’re ready for that and we did some we had some we had some ice and get put on a motherfuking cake we did you get you always want more but I look back and I don’t think we could handle more so we got what we got and now I’m on a different I have a different cake I have a different cake mix and I don’t know if it’s that time I don’t know if it’s time to put the icing on the cake or not yeah I don’t know I mean the cake it’s getting cold she heard it mean if you’d if anyone has icing out there can it please be stevia-sweetened go Steven Johnson I don’t know how to hack them will work on that today I know it’s actually what I heard is that it’s a weird additive that they used to cut it because it’s so super sweet that you would basically died of sweetness if you didn’t like the step on it with some other things so I think that’s why I love growing Stevia and having a leaf to munch on and put in the tea because then you know is nothing else being put into it and it’s just as powerful you don’t really need to if you had the the live leaves one leaf enough will be enough to knock your head off for an hour so yeah I know on that snow yeah we’re going to put this devious fresh leave puree motherfuking icing on the cake I will put the icing on my own motherfuking cake that reminds me in 1 minute I just when I thought we couldn’t go out with a bigger bang this is going to be at because there was a a ritual ceremonial I called we called apart emoni where was the Psychedelic birthday party and we smeared cake all over each other and had to basically devour for the birthday gal of her own cake and it was just nipples and asses and I wanted to be in after from there I was my breasts Elsa. Playing for sure that brother and brother best me for sure but that when I got to put the icing on cake my damn self so don’t let anyone fucking tell you that you’re not none of me if you feel like it I mean I think we’re done I just can’t I’m going to fucking drop my phone right now when I might drop my phone on the couch citizen of the count but oh shit it’s next level add icy Cipher geise that’s going to have some cake with that icing okay thank you for listening to the touch upon podcast please go to www.drudgereport.com and cook on the Donate button to help support the show in addition is to see me and if you want a podcast for donations will help establish permaculture goddess temples every bite ecological employment for single mothers Please Subscribe and share your favorite episodes if you have questions or comments feel free to leave a voicemail at 818-275-1593 or email been at Tantra Punk. Mumford or 20 another capella saraswoti he’s based in Sydney and he really which one of the Pioneers in bringing the sexual aspects of Tantra to the West in the mid-1970s I hear he was initiated in 76 and came back and gave a series of Seminole lectures on the subject and 77 and we will you know we’ve been his disciples now for going on fifteen years he initiated me as a Swami in 2003 and mavis’s is lineage holders that we’ve we do have a a traditional Indian traditional background her first book was based on those lectures he gave and 70 specs and it’s called the essence of Tantra sexuality reply to work backwards in a way from not stuck with a second book called time for cirrhotic empowerment which is more of a workbook and a kind of introductory introductory that our next book which is which came out in 2012 is called the Great Section 8 Simple and it’s it’s a real beginners book on top in a kind of tip format but being sting to people we are we couldn’t resist including a lot of pretty esoteric stuff in there so I didn’t even people who have a lot more experience with with the tradition you know might find some some surprising new elements in that book and finally our recent my most recent book which came out last February is a much more General kind of book called partners and passion a guide to great sex and Missy and long-term love and it’s really a relationship book that draws on our 15 years together and then all of our work teaching you know worldwide and and it’s fully informed by a background in Contra but it’s it’s not a pocketbook purse a setup a nutshell overview of the conflict side I also have a law degree from NYU and and did American Indian law for about a decade and I also have a couple of degrees in American studies graduate-level stuff so I’d background that’s certainly had a lot of more kind of academic training as a as a piece of that wow that is amazing I think you just became my personal hero and I’m standing up for everything and I’m exhausted all the books because I did a Google search I’ve been studying this field for a while but it was recently that I came across your work and and yeah I feel I feel great affinity and more and more SM can you talk so do you want to talk a bit about the role of punk rock in your life is and how that jives with all this stuff I don’t know maybe five or six years ago and I hadn’t really until that time thought about how these kind of different strands in my life of overlapping and entwined but but looking back on it and then I guess feeling a little bit alienated from some of the more new AG stuff that’s out there I I I started looking back at my my roots and pumpkin and seeing how these two things really connect and Heather are very much the same thing in a way I was I grew up in New York City in the in the 1970s and well you know early on kind of a wannabe hippie but I was twelve and not really it was in a lot of ways I was fascinated by it but I was I was too young and I think I would have things I want to say about Punk thing we’re all hippies now and looking back you know almost 40 years later I think there’s a lot of Truth in that but you know we at in that first generation of punk rockers work in reaction against what are older for the people the age of our older siblings were doing it and so there was with kind of opposition to it that we all we all Express back then but good looking back I think in many ways it hasn’t worked in a finity that I would ever have admitting in 1976 but I I discovered my my first experience with punk rock was actually it in 1975 and it was at the end of the Vietnam War concert in Central Park is a big free concert with all kinds of folk movement celebrities and was still Oaks his last last performance I Believers are very close to his last and Tom Paxton and Joan Baez been there quite a few letters but the thing that really stood out for me was a performance by Patti Smith and she did just did Hey Joe and piss Factory it’s at that concert but it was like nothing I’ve ever seen before and I was just really taken by it a little weirded out by it a little intimidated by it she talked about the connection between rock and roll and violence and you know at the end of the Vietnam War concert that was a pretty shocking thing for someone to say so I just for the file that away and then a few months later there was a front-page article in the New York Times magazine about her and it was right before horses came out and I was you know I remember having seen her I was very intrigued and I probably got the record but certainly the first pigs that she didn’t support right after the record came out with the bottom line in New York and I was 75 so I was 16 I got a friend’s older sister who was a big fan two to take me to the bottom line it was a lot easier to get into clubs back then and I we we smoked a joint in the car before the before the show by by the end of the show I was completely no longer high and we were just neither one of us could move it was so powerful and profound and I sorta got hooked after that so from there I started going to see the TVs a couple of months later and pretty much saw all of that you know the first generation of New York punk rock and and became quite devoted to the whole scene so I think we might be kind of a different generation of a punk rocker but are totally 15% cotton from looking at your your material and in your side yeah yeah definitely the lineages evolving in and it’s it’s own I think of it as you heard of the aghori to do cold getting attached I think about the absolute pronunciation of all of all kind of smashed everything sacred because it was rebelling against this is so many different levels of corruption within religion of course in and then also this type of identification with material wealth in prestige in all of the things that supposed to be smashing through to get to the heart of being and no justice in raw Primal Rage in rebellion in 10 so icy I feel through the different phases of evolution in punk rock it’s it’s reflecting that I didn’t post to shed the material and get deeper into the spiritual but there’s been a lack of guidance I think in the punk rock movement and can I feel like I’m very compelled now having gotten to Tantra to bring some of the principles and teaching into the my still very well connected to a guest role within the punk rock Community still and still being outside can musician and I still have albums coming out and I still have a role to play there is much older there’s parts of me that want to can’t move away from that move further away from it and moved more towards Consciousness and more an hour away from the alcohol abuse and the and the mosh pit and dancing in sacred geometrical forms rather than in the mosh pit which is this kind of like tomorrow said yeah I guess that agrees to do kind of kind of approach that what do you know back in there in the really early days of New York in the end I think this thing that was maybe different about that moment was there was a lot before so there was no more I mean we you know Max isn’t cbgb’s it was tables because New York has these weird laws against dancing so there was no match pets people might stand around the stage but that whole kind of thing is it’s sort of emerged out of the British the British seen and and sort of I think it’s the LA kind of Hardcore signal came along more like around 1980 or so but you know 76 77 it was a real person and really Bohemian movement but I think shared more like a lot more expensive bility than sound because you had bands is the versus television Talking Heads you know Ramones Blondie different kinds of sounds and I think that I found one of the key pieces for me as a kid was like it didn’t matter who you were you know it was like at cbgb’s you had I didn’t know if this was a Hells Angel Fire so you had like pallets Angels there and then you have you know we are kids you have you have really kind of just beer drinking Guys from Brooklyn and then you’d have like Artie people from New York and and it it was a place where any kind of Misfit with 10 and it was it was wonderful in that way I think Patty was the real in a book The toddy Smith was the real monster Talent became out of that scene and see to me was always very very consciously and her performances and there was a distinctly contract and transgressive element that side to me it sort of fell into being self-indulgent sometimes when she was on she just took you into this whole at around quitting balls going through some pretty dark and unpleasant very dark and unpleasant kinds of places to to get there and then you have a I’m fascinated by your your work with the the Native American law and did you feel like your progression from Punk into more formal activism within new advocacy type of work with that was that the directional is going from in your you’re here by illegal Korea honestly not really I I I don’t see a deep connection between those two things I think I mean a lot of my life has been about service so and that was ten years of of really doing service and you know supporting supporting a community that is not my own in really working as in service to them you know I think a lot of a lot of white people think I want to go help others that they do they they often will do it in a kind of kind of lipstick William and I felt like my job at that time was to to keep my mouth shut and listen and and learn and and make myself available and I don’t have a bunch of other things in the intervening seven or eight years between moving away from Panguitch I got kind of turned off by the scene in the in the early 80s because there was just so much so much drug abuse and I think one of the final kind of turning points for me was I had been friendly with with Johnny Thunders when I was in college and my band open Fruit for his band a couple of times and stuff for this is and I went to Michigan and he was in Ann Arbor for 4. Of time and I came back to New York and it was probably 1982-83 and I went to see, yet it was just is his addiction was consuming and at that point and and it was just depressing and I really kind of felt this since it was time for me to start moving on and getting more and more into kind of American Roots Music which you know it has it has a lot of the same sensibility and authenticity to it but I was feeling a little bit that I’d outgrown what was happening in the in the punk scene. And I was kind of during my my law school years and then I worked in theater for a while as well so we definitely have had a kind of similar fractal evolution in different ways yeah from getting into the raw Primal passion and power and spiritual dimensions of punk rock and and then getting kind of more refined into our personal spiritual practices and also her service and and I’ve gotten kind of professionally into a permaculture design and edible landscape design stuff and ecological service and restoration work and and if yeah I had this ZIP honks at the expense and kind of evolved with me in different ways and ultimately took the past Securities pass to end up in serious relationship with the Tantra tradition and trying to I understand it as fully as possible and seek lineages to work within and get beyond the surface of the type of better sex and all that obviously a good thing and it’s kind of what we’ve allowed people to that to this time I’m kind of at a point where I wanted to integrate the sidse empowerment aspect of contract with the the mission of punk and the mission of of different forms of activism and social justice and environmental justice and what I’m discovering and and have been practicing over the last several years is that there’s this has been this completely taboo and seemingly a Colts and hidden realm of power a whole dimension for a multiplicity of dimensions of power that come from being conscious and intelligent directed use of sexual energy to energize and to manifest and to heal heal and to sustain positive healthy co-creative and synergistic Human Relationships there’s all these I don’t want to say weapons but I don’t want to say tools that can be you know applied and adapted from from Tantra that can really solve a lot of problems I feel for dissolution activists and people who have for Serta bearing the wound during the wounds of the Kali Yuga as it’s called you know in the Hindu tradition in pain like I’m I’m feeling very drawn compelled to help people who are struggling with this some the reality that we live in obviously and I are going against the mainstream and then not having spiritual tools to sustain their sense of well-being and balance and to avoid the drug addiction and avoid the violence and avoid the bad and dangerous sex and the unconscious behavior and have more of that light energy falling through that Hearts face that’s coming from the disillusionment and what’s you know all the lyrics and all of the Power and rage of the punk rock movement you know a lot of it in that people just end up going getting sucked into a black hole pain and not finding something to piss like a platform of life that can help them be elevated and I feel like that’s the there’s a lot of that to be learned from personal Tantra practice and also understanding this the Deep history of it visa Vie its relationship to it’s kind of like a prescription for this this demonic Kali Yuga time that were in this is like the gifts that was designed for people to be able to hold their bearings with all this pressure to start stage kind of pressure and I’m wondering if you how you feel about that kind of strategic application for people who are activists are punks or people who are fighting in the shadow and and I’m kind of at a loss for question but enhance I mean I think that you know my own experience would have been in activism is that because you’re intent upon degree actually even with teaching and writing and traveling is that if you were really in a roll of of being serviced and working to help others if they can be very easily easy to neglect your own your own while being on your own space and so having some kind of practice I am some kind of capacity to look Inward and then recharge is essential because if you don’t have that you you will burn out very quickly so that’s that’s one piece I mean on the punt side of things I’m thinking about kind of going back to the early days the difference between the class in the sex pistols and I think people have ten to two pieces to this one is that people tend to associate like the epitome of Punk with with the sex pistols and they really were pretty nihilistic when you get down to it and and pretty much driven by rage the class really were kind of different than and then suddenly there was anger and frustration and and especially in the early material but they were much more about a vision of Love Community about a vision of a future where people treated each other differently and so I think looking back you know that that was a real Fisher within the movement I’m and unfortunately swerved you know especially seeing younger kids idolizing Sid Vicious I just kind of got disgusted because I think that’s that was sort of a perversion and away if of what it was really all about adding another piece of that pit that maybe got lost is like there’s a lot of the early New York men’s had this incredible sort of dark humor about them and I think that’s an important thing for people to keep in mind to it’s like if you can’t laugh why are you do you know and then sometimes it’s really appalling stuff but it’s one of the ways that we can help process yeah it was just an absolute Entre Workshop where one of the exercises was to look at look at various issues and and then laugh just allow yourself to laugh about it even if it was heinous stuff just getting in that space and then be able to reclaim some power around it and not be just going by the pain all the time and I’m thrilled that you have such extensive traditional training and end I think I’m God is so many ways to Define this sometimes nebulous feel that subconscious but I think I’m the one dimension that is coming up for me right now is the idea of the sort of alchemy of dissolving Polar Opposites into a swirling spiraling Union of totality that you can Embrace synonym sort of sigh of relief that you’re not being stretched into the stream positions of opposites in Union goal of the lovemaking Rachel and all that but as far as healthy a healthier way to integrate the Shadow and not just be consumed by it did you yeah if you can you talk a little bit about just your some of the differences between the the the more traditional lifelong Guru initiation Tantra cast in nn how that relates to what people are just we getting in to know about the tantric sex stuff is different about the traditional linear space is it there’s an idea of power and transmission that comes when you’re initiated by someone in and you know that is something that I’ve experienced than I’m having a level of accountability to not trust your teacher but to the whole lineage of being more grounded I think that one of the big differences is that in the in the more linear space even if you’re even if you’re instructed in the sexual aspects there’s so so so much more than 10 sexuality that is that it involves it’s it’s really an approach living and you know in our in our work with Dr Munford I mean we please pass the sexual teachings on to us but she’s never rely directly taught us anything sexual and different ways to meditate it’s really about going deep with them and see the funds contras tool for expansion and the tool is your you’re you’re not even what you’re expanding is your Consciousness and really any experience that you’re having as an opportunity to do that if you approach it with the right mindset so I think that also tends to get lost in in much of the popular stuff that’s out there that the country is not it’s not a set of sexual practices it’s not at something you do when everything is going right and you flipped handles and you know you’re having a great ritual with it with a partner it’s really about how you live your life every moment and to you as I just finished reading a book called Township have to ecstasy and it was the rule Southworth church first thing sucks is that it’s really help me get more of a deeper appreciation for the yeah they obviously the deaths in The Roots end and something very interesting that I felt it struck me immediately reading it was was this notion that the the township pass was was according to my understanding is that are my interpretation reading a book is that it is just that there was more of a type of age in the Hindu World ages they anticipated the coming of the Kali Yuga part of the cycle which was this dark demonic stage of spice and you know I want to see spend because of the baggage with that but but but but definitely this sort of pressure to succumb to the Demonic forces that that that the real it’s not like a like a cartoony hokey mythological notion of of evil in the world or demonic entities it’s is very phenomenological the way that they ate the way that they understand this influence of dark energies into the human psyche in human culture and soul lyrics tactical preparation for this age was to develop what was actually a very strip down and reduced spiritual practice to the complexity of those country was only a fraction of the totality of the spiritual path but it was just enough to hopefully help us get through this Dark Age that we’re going through and it’s it’s like telescoping in extremes of darkness and now with all those people have obviously my journey we have less and less time to practice anything spiritual to do anything in the inner Realms of a being because of all the distractions and all of the demands and all of the Stillman it’s like to the human consciousness is getting more and more male forced away from these two practices and it just seems to be fulfilling a prophecy that we’re in this really dark time and the dishes like a sort of a gift that was given to humanity to help us navigate these times and find some power imbalance and few have did that something you’ve come across this sort of a spiritual warrior path I guess I don’t know exactly how to frame into a into a question but that’s that’s where this Punk thing is the punk Anna Tantra is not just a way to experience the four more beautiful and Rich life that you know kind of the new age you think of just but it’s more it’s for me I see it I see it now more than ever is is more of a spiritual empowerment in the context of this the negativity that were in in an RN and giving us a sort of Duty to be service workers are lightworkers in and cleaning resistance you know that’s that’s the word I’m looking for a passive resistance and of resisting the temptation to fall into the darkness and also resisting by bringing light do our bodies and through our relationships to shine down the shadow of this age until we get to the next part of the cycle where it should be easier is that any of that one thing I would say is that it is definitely a path of resistance and transgression and not complying with what you know what the dominant society says want to do and I think if you go back to really there’s a book called Kiss of the Allegheny with I think it’s the best storical analysis of Tantra and he really does feel hotter is David court and white and he really talks about the origins in the in the early, narrow if it’s not a it’s a tradition is somewhat make it out to be and and the Really oppositional nature of it at that time reacting against sort of Orthodoxy in in that. And India while drawing on some very old aspects of the cultural Traditions that existed there and so it is it definitely oppositional I think that one of the things and I’m not sure this is in total agreement with what you suggested but it may be a different way of looking at it is that part of the Alchemy in Contra and end it is implicit in the symbolism of Kali is it that you you really want to dive into the darkest stuff and through that process of driving in you’ve transformed what might be perceived as as dangerous adversarial threatening to you horrifying Etc into something that’s a tool for empowering yourself and so we can’t we can’t eat a week at our Peril we ignore the darkness and we’re try to pretend that all we’re doing is dancing in the light so there is a there’s a real there is a warrior past there is a you know there is a ferocity to it and and that’s that’s that’s absolutely true instead of thinking about polarities which you know which is definitely part of the tradition but what we like to teach people is that yes there are these poles of you no energy and Consciousness if you want to call that masculine feminine time of being aware and as of tuning out and what we really want to strive for in life is being able to move along the full spectrum between those perceived polarities so that were were sort of more fully there and have more choice about how we are in the world at any given moment cool yeah that’s good thank you for entertaining these supposed to bury esoteric thoughts on the stuff in and getting more practical people which everyone has almost everyone has the specs driving and and seeks to be loved and to love and to be in a relationship and more and more things are kind of a rotating the coming just to modify the hyper teknologize modern lifestyle is making it more and more difficult for people to spend quality time together into a heel and sustain a relationship so so if you if we if you want to speak for bit about some some of your tips for staining relationships without having without being with most of us not having the ability to get to get initiated by Guru in spin really get immersed in his life path. What what are some you know handfuls of of tips and tricks that people can use to acquire this and then this is something that Patricia and I think about a lot you know because we are 21st century Americans were not 9th century Indians and then have What What In This tradition really resonates what’s applicable across cultures what’s applicable in our current situation and in the in the rituals and if the sexual rituals in ancient mantra spell Alka-Seltzer to the extent that has practice today it’s still there the sexual ritual would involve sometimes a partner who is selected at random but the record of the ritual in the end the function of the rituals that each person is dare to be in service to the other to worship the other as an embodiment of god or goddess and to facilitate the other in achieving mystical experiences through the sexual ritual so the attitude is one they’re going back to the word service again but the attitude is one in which each participant is there to be in service to the other and how does that translate into a you know 21st century relationship model well for one thing one of the reasons they picked people at random sometimes was because it’s a lot easier to worship, you don’t know then to work with someone you do because you don’t have all of the you know the baggage in The Impressions that you carry with them and so on so what we think is to carry this idea from the sexual into all aspects of your relationship you know and that’s why they are monogamous Holly configuration or whatever to bring this out of reverence and service into your interactions course it has to be mutually agreed upon him in any relationship because it’s only one person is doing it at that type of service and reference into all of urine tract have it in the back of your mind even when you’re having you know an argument or something it can be really transformational and I think I’d the concept of reverence is something that across-the-board we are losing and losing fast in this you know in this culture everything’s disposable you know it’s obvious and how people are really Cavalier and you know and how they they treat the planet and how they treat each other and so it’s a it’s really a radical thing to do to try to live with Reverend you don’t have to have any belief system to do that either I think that’s really important it’s not about you know a belief in a day Eddie it’s it’s really an attitude of being in the world I don’t know one of the great things about Tantra is that you know it’s it’s belief is really secondary I mean if you want to believe in in the sense that the chakras are real that’s even talk to your real that’s perfectly fine but you can also just see them as as symbolic you can see them as metaphor you can see the chakras as a kind of tool for visualizing your internal energetic world you don’t have to accept them is physically real so it’s a pain it’s not about what you believe it’s not really doing what what work experience and your other question which is the Kundalini experience I think is something that I feel portable a good part of my activism is six six sexual health education and holistic special education that gives people switch that mean I guess I just kind of framing this begin within the context is wow do you know with it. She was created by people who had who had an easier time having more having such a deep and enrich spiritual life where they really designed human culture to be in right alignment with nature and were we’re just hygienic spiritually so that there wasn’t so much pathology and so much just fragmentation and social disease and if they had more blessed than more intimacy with the Divine and intimacy with each other and that was you know this experience I can only imagine what it would be like having grown up in this reality of absolute materialism absolute schizophrenia about sexuality and all these things that a disorder and then so the country was with that was supposed to be a help us get through this time and then now we’re in a time where it’s even we have even less time and so the special like this hand stretch out stretching to us in the present moment of of these gifts of wisdom and in and so really it is more and more buried and I’m scared even presents to know her tour like you’re saying reference for things just kind of like not even cool it’s like what are you doing aren’t you shouldn’t you be texting somebody or ridiculing something in the moving on to the next internet meme or the next tweet or something just completely orwellian and it’s reduction of the complexity of experience that was a long a long practice to something I think is maybe want maybe will only be able to train this generation to potentially have ejaculation control and that would be as far as the eye that would be a huge Great Leap out of this Dark Realm that were in so that they can be more percent better serving in being better service to their love-making Partners if they can last longer because they do this press and energy circulation in and they can have multiple orgasms for continuous longer-lasting orgasmic wavespace and that’s one of the I guess the the gift of it and then another thing is is I like I would love to see people in modernity discover Tantra and then instead of having this idea of fucking and getting laid and getting lucky they’re having this idea of how who am I going to find a co-creative magical a synergistic co-creative magical manifestation partner with who will who will Who will sit with me and be present and we’re going to stir up the Kundalini Shakti energy and have it on coil so that we know I stopped into these other Realms so fast airplane I think those if men can and can learn how to control ejaculation and the and a cursory knowledge of the chakra system can be can be instilled and then this yearning to 2 to invite in the show me Shakti energy if that could be known about I’m feeling very compelled to try to get people aware of that potential so that it’s not just getting off and ejaculating in conquering someone’s body and leaving them with cab fare which is you know sadly and then all the horrible porn that people are addicted to end the violence and the domination that’s being propagated through that so yeah do you have any tips for male ejaculation control and the Kundalini experience in any any would say that in my view in it in our training at the issue of of ejaculation is is not quite so important and in fact if you go back to the early rituals that was Central to the to the entire ritual so just a big caveat up front on this and I think that the idea of control is is a bit of a pitfall to because I’ve seen it happen where it just becomes another vehicle for sort of machismo so what what I was taught to think about was more regulation and control I like that word better yet so that’s one piece of that I think the other piece of it the purpose of non ejaculatory taxes as I see it is it’s a learning tool it’s a way to learn to separate the orgasm from the station from your chocolate or a response and once you’ve learned that and you can sort of you have freedom to play around with it and and explore a much broader range forecast my possibilities what I would say is that in our culture people who are born grow up and identify as male have not had the opportunity to explore sexuality in the way that at least some women have you know there’s a whole kind of Betty Dodson movement of self pleasuring with awareness and and as a tool for expanding Consciousness but if you’re if you’re if you have a penis in your and you’ve grown up mail and you have the feedback loop of erection ejaculation you know NM think that’s exactly a shin and orgasm at the same thing it’s really easy to just get stuck in that loop with limits your your possibilities and it’s so there hasn’t been an equivalent of daddy. Sindhu for a first-rate man there has been a bit more in the gay community with Body Electric and Joe Kramer and then that whole aspect of things but if you have a brother is kind of a typical straight American guy you got a very limited understanding of sex quality handyman and sexual self-exploration is something basically like you don’t do because it’s all there right in front of you so more than ejaculating and not ejaculating free much more Consciousness and awareness to two male sexuality and I’m getting out of the kind of hyper-masculine mindset that much younger man I mean not long ago we had a couple of conversation with women in their 20s about this and a book launch at our current title at a local restaurant in one of the wait staff said how I really like to bring home to my boyfriend but if I did he’d be insulted and that was kind of at once through shocking and and sad because I think guys are socialized to think I’ve got a know-it-all and if anybody suggest that I need to learn anything why we’ve heard this from much older man as well I don’t need your book I know it all maybe you don’t need your feet are both but you know maybe maybe our bucks would be really helpful and give you some new new new possibilities and then these things to explore the socialization is so strong that you can’t allow that but I think you know men by larger really really confined by the demands of what it means Cena what culture says it means to be masculine as a musician I study the music industry and I I don’t do no I don’t I can’t say I don’t fantasize about having let’s say personally I think it be possible for me to have could just have a bit of influence if your music career and but I look at the real rock gods and the real people who are defining Global masculinity for young men today are the the pop stars you know there’s a real Shaman says it’s better that the shortest Blackmagic shamans and fortunately I mean I guess I shouldn’t I’ve heard of people paid if you if you’re not healing people and you doing Blackmagic on you a little longer a shaman is a shaman healer but let’s just stay at in their cauldron of patriarchal sexual dominating violence they’re basically shaping the attitudes for all men in the end it would just be the goal that I have would be to somebody if it’s not me who has the mic on the stage if I at least I could be rubbing off on people in those industry in the higher level of Industry to to create Reverend stickler around the love making you know staying in and I mean can you just imagine if some of these these icons were were making videos that were showing the real way to worship the Beloved as a goddess and that would be a nice thing with the with the Kundalini Shakti experience thing I feel like that’s the proof in the pudding and that’s the way the sort of shocking wake-up call this is Alexis electrical energy this powerful surge of energy is what kind of spiritual and religious Traditions have a hard time I think really authentically delivering a repeatable mystical experience the Kundalini experience which requires some procedure to access some people have it spontaneously out of nowhere and I have what what is a clinical psychologist call Kundalini syndrome which can if you know people can snap their neck people can have disordered Minds face and dizziness and all kinds of negative still at serious side effects from from premature Kundalini sort of experiences and so on the one hand I’m staying to myself this is the vicious human sexuality 2.0 everyone’s getting into I mean in the midst of all this toxic pouring I’ll let you know if I’ll inform there is also the sexy people who are who are giving people tools for more pleasure and stuff but the real Mex Mex level is when humans win Global Humanity as can if I the internet understand that there is this natural phenomenon this sort of force of nature that the Kim to the Holy Ghost this experience of move something is here and it is not what I considered to be me and it’s not like you’re considered to be you and it is this massive Niagara of energy that’s tangible flowing through a systems in how do you know we have to that that’s kind of like the the real money shot the real the real thing to do to speak to a team and it’s been in it doesn’t require Decades of worship at the feet of a guru to access it really can be accessed being a sub for a minute and then there’s the whole fire-breathing Jedi Knight orgasm using the force to induce these full body orgasmic waves and that’s like another parlor trick of times it is coming out butt I’m so I’m feeling like I’m going to be an evangelist of of Awakening Kundalini and that’s going to have people go okay while we’ve been stoled a real a real week you’re the sort of them we’ve been scammed with what we’ve been taught sexuality than this is a way to start to open up to its being way more bass in this potential and but there is this element of danger with it so I’m wondering and you were training what do you have warnings advise anyting medical spiritual in our tradition the ideas that Kundalini has really acted in in us all the time and what the practices are about is really about bringing awareness to them to the energy and so it’s sort of a different model from The Awakening kind of idea and I will say I had a pretty much spontaneous Awakening myself which fortunately I kind of was informed about what it was and therefore was able to manage should I also was done a lot of therapy before so I knew myself pretty well I think what happens often when people have these experiences is that they don’t have a framework in which to put it and then and not causes them to freak out psychotic break is this ultimately leading to Greater integration or not practice is about creating a container in which that energy can be managed in and worked with me that’s not the only point but it’s one of the points and if it’s why there’s you know in many Traditions there is a years and years of study and practice before before you get into the really intense energy moving stuff so if you have the Awakening type experience prematurely I think they’re kind of the three potential potential negative outcomes one is that it is actually some kind of episode of mental illness in the end and in that case you really need to seek help right away the other is that you don’t have you don’t you haven’t developed the container or you’re not in a contact swear where you understand enough to be able to make the most of it or you just have it and go home from the weekend and and don’t do anything with it so what what’s important is that there be some kind of foundation laid before before people start going for the big the big energy movements I think it’s a pitfall 2 of the kind of Workshop culture that we have in in the society that you know you go to a weekend workshop and you have a peak experience and you go home and then a lot of people I think don’t have a way to integrate Peak experience into their own lives or don’t have a way to make it happen for themselves when they want to so it just meant it’s like okay me to spend more money on Workshop yeah that’s it that’s that’s an interesting I have a sick kind of semi always saves you really think that original Karate was designed to be taught you know a couple hours a week so that you get your black belt and move on and smell these were people that this was it a life not and not just a lifestyle either it was an absolutely fully encompassing religious spiritual physical everything past 7 and I’m still again we’re just in the fragmented reality so much and inspect experience that makes you feel like you you’re your actual body is that you can sense the perimeter of your body being several many times larger than what you’re used to and then you have to go back into a cubicle on Monday work through this has been studying it I feel like what seems to be happening is the people that have the real discombobulated and kind of dramatic and and painful and disorienting experiences of the first ones they have I get to way that I’ve heard described that this if you haven’t opened your valves and been conditioned the noughties you know the electrical current in Turkey chakra interconnecting kind of circuitry if you haven’t cleanse those and condition them and widen them and dilated them so that’s the pressure fire hose for a fire hydrant kind of pressure If you’re trying to connect your kitchen sink to a fire hydrant dilating and expanding and then you become more of me like you’re saying it’s it’s always there and then you can be with it on a regular and uneven a constant basis and a night for me I feel like dancing is a huge part of are you guys people dance your way into the bedroom into the lovemaking ritual and then you will have and then massage you know if you can massage in dance in a pyramid that leads to sexual unions then you’re going to have really really prepared and dilated all those subtle energy Pathways to be able to receive more and more and then take it all the way and then of course all the emotional blockages that people have if this is this make it’s this fire of purification where you can actually burn off lifetime is of karma if you have your really gnarled up inside with all these emotional knots and this thing is just going to rip through it all it’s going to be Carnage I feel like is the Kundalini if you were to take aerial shots you know if they’re punks in the mosh pit doing a circle pit in there that is weaving into this higher-dimensional communal Synergy space I do feel I’m pretty much at the end of my my thoughts here so I’ll leave it with that the triumphs of the Kundalini Circle pit did not contact when that energy is moving well and it’s not really you know gratuitously violent there is just incredible sort of ebb and flow and weaving that’s going on it among the people and I think that that’s weird that’s the kind of collective ecstasy that you get in kirtan as well and it in a different kind of format and and it’s all about that sort of transcending the limits of your your own self and feeling a connection outside you know the word yoga means Union so it’s it’s a different form but it’s it’s all about that beautiful yes in a little more I just sit here thinking imagining it is I’ve seen absolute Supernatural miraculous Feats of super male aggressive violent venue seat quite amazing Miracles that it break laws of physics happening at is the Kundalini Shakti thing going on so much do
