Santa Cruz Entheogens Approved

In this episode I share the audio recording from the Santa Cruz city council vote that decriminalized entheogens:

Resolution declaring that the investigation and arrest of individuals twenty-one (21) years of age and older involved with the adult personal use and personal possession of entheogenic psychoactive plants and fungi listed on the Federal Schedule 1 list be amongst the lowest priorities for the City of Santa Cruz.

Lab Report: Shaktification as Non-Invasive Demonectomy TPP232

Play

sexual-healing-with-psychedelic-goddess-worship In this episode I share a lab report from mid 2019 which documents an important break through in my sexual healing with psychedelic goddess worship research. The mixed and mastered version of the Psychedelic Goddess Worship track on the Sexorcism the Tantric Opera album proved to have powerful potentials to induce what I’m calling “shaktification as non-invasive demonectomy. My (non-verbatim) show notes are below.

Non invasive is used for surgeries, the body is not penetrated

Man cave, goddess temple lave, unclinical lab, produced an album to create the vibrational landscape for a non-invasive demonectomy on my self

multiple sessions, increasing doses’

could solve the problem of how do you induce a non-invasive demonectomy, that’s effective, unlike the techniques of the dominant paradigm of exorcism, the catholic church and their protocols

with an understanding, time does not heal, if untreated the infections only get worse and in the case of men, there’s a higher potential of survivor-perpetrators

for women, less likely to harm others, but will often harm themselves, that’s the handy work of the demons that were inserted into them in acts of abuse and molestation

demons express themselves in female survivors much less as sexual offense

in males, less divine feminine grace, cults of gang rape, women don’t usually form thug cults of rape

don’t know of any witches who are known to have done that

but men, gang up and bully runts on football team, and geeks in the classroom, they gang up and rape the cheerleaders, their so susceptible and when you get survivors in that mix, its that much more of a cascading effect

it should be axiomatic, if that infection doesn’t get disinfected immediately, than you are harboring, just like Geiger shows us, is the “face huggers”, that’s what he’s talking about, it’s all demons, their parasites, inject themselves into human host, sexual aliens, if there was a xxx Giger, that’s me, showing what’s going on

gotta figure out how to interrupt the larval cycle, to interrupt the propagation

some times sexual penetration is appropriate, however there are times when it’s not

there’s a magical power that flows through, the goddess kali shaki, and the magic mushroom, what I can demonstrate and have footage of, is capturing the rapid seizure like convulsions that occur with the shakti is invoked, not just shivers, not just normal kriyas, a controlled seizer

a presence of mind, it’s possible to surrender, but be prepared, yoga, martial arts, dancing, landscaping, know my body and have agility to phase in and out of possession states

not faking, not faking, not a parlor trick, not a magic trick, not putting on a show

I have the ability to shut it off, goddess has been earning trust from me so I can surrender more
use elbows to brace neck, stay ahead of the sense of more intense movements

set and setting for combat training, you could use padding, or train on the beach

design consciousness of low impact, the sand absorbs impact, avoiding pavement

expecting to trash around, expecting to be taken for a ride, do due diligence to be warmed up enough

not be in a contortion to snap their neck, people doing jiu jitsu, they’re aware of when they’re in danger, and maneuver out of it

gotta be bad ass ninja warriors

it’s possible, I’ve proven to myself, that adding more people is beneficial, but in the dilemma of when you can’t add anybody, what do you do, well this seems to be it, maybe not the only thing, but could be more effective than calling the local priest exorcist

they did the deeds themselves and now they’re gonna do the exorcism, you brought the demons you’re not taking them out

sexorcism that doesn’t involve any inappropriate touch or any touch at all

it happened to me to a degree never before experienced

it’s happened before, but not to this extent

she’s like an infinite array of octopoid, insectoid, she has the ability to move you in a lot of different ways

she’s going in and doing a demonic abortion

what she’s doing is what an abortion doctor would do

as sad and heartbreaking as it can be, that’s what goddess kali is doing the demons in the chakras, she’s sucking and pulling them out

these are fully formed, although I do see often that there are multiple life stages, there are hatchlings, old ones, etc. we don’t know how long they live

shamans probably have a clue, but we’re grasping in the dark, but that’s what’s happening

if you watch sexorcism the tantric opera where there’s a lot of hand laying on people, sometimes just the aura, it’s a lot of handy work, but what has been achieved to an extreme with me, is that with the track “psychedelic goddess worship” singing the mantras along with it, its raiding the demon nest, allowing kali to do the demonectomy, extracting these violent creatures, shifts in the amount of demonic load, measurable, this is like colonics

I think I made an important discovery, a hands off, solo, non-invasive demonectomy, you may want to try this yourself and go from no medicine, to cannabis low to high dose, then mushrooms low to high dose, and experiment with the music, looping the track psychedelic goddess worship in setting where you have people watching over you, and you’re surrounded by cushions, and you have martial arts/yoga background, be agile like a cat to prevent injury, if that’s you and you’re suffering and you’ve not found healing in toxic relationships, in psychiatric drugs, or yoga postures, or vipasan, or being saved by Jesus, or getting an exorcism, or singing hare krisna, or doing a detox, I say try everything else , this is a last resort

these are things that I”ve seen that will turn you white, like Winston from Ghost Busters

old school orthodox sri rama krisna order kali worshipers say things like think about it, people go to kali when they’re crushed, when they’re hating life because “it least there will be peace”, they’re harangued by demons, you go to the kali temple and there is peace, hopefully not a patriarchal priesthood

I emphasis female kali priestesses in my work, trying to get back the secret mantras, and decode the art,

the braminization of the goddess, “she was a tribal deity who was absorbed into vedic pantheon”

she was/is a village goddess

decolonize your tantra

get back to psychedelic village level goddess worship

occupying armies, languages, soma, occupying, absorb goddesses take them away from the people then feed it back to them and it’s all corrupted, bastardization by priest craft, put in empire of ego, male ego

I bow down to women who are priestesses, sorting it out, pagan villager medicine woman shamanism craft, that’s what we want to get all the way back down to

the pure hearted matriarchs of the village, witch craft

I’ve said it enough times now, how to translate this, we need to give a voice to the witches and let them do it laboratory conditions

I’m just the messenger, the source is the dakinis and yoginis, who are in state of grace simply because they dont’ have a penis that can be weapons

I don’t have a clue about what was really going on with the cult of the 64 yoginis but there seems to have been a ratio of men to women where women are quite obliged to run the show, quite obliged to minimize and intelligently design with the shiva energy, operating within their coven

I will only get better and better at doing the scholarship on these claims

women are blessed and women are cursed and we need to address this without the backlash

we can be brothers in prostration to the goddess, and experience our masculinity in its most potent form

we’ll get hardest erections when we worship the goddess

ritualized sexual matriarch, that’s probably a useful simplified term

a more rapid depiction

high dose mushrooms, safe-ish setting

looping the track psychedelic goddess worship, mixed and mastered version

never before got as far

turned into an astral battlefield, astral combat, very much like scene in big trouble in little china, when Lo Pan fights Eg Shen, astral avatars battle on their behalf

I got into contortions, spontaneous mudras, like speaking in tongues with your hands, never been trained to do, never done before, seeing my fingers become like black widow spider legs, beautiful sacred geometric formations, like weaving a spider web, as I invoke her more and sing her in more, I become what looks like a mix of black soldier fly and cobra, slithering sounds, autonomically happening the more I surrender, seeing myself as sort of dragon fly mixed with black widow, seeing now how you can allow yourself to be, in a benevolent manner, but possessed, so she can devour demons through you

co-presence between dimensions, I had to think omg this is the fly, I’m Jeff Goldbloom, but that was so gruesome and hideous, but this was beautiful, how could that be re-imagined so it was totally beautiful…so the triumphantness of the incredible hulk, still shocking and bizarre, but whats’ the more beautiful transformation where you see it as totally beautiful and elegant, nothing horrific about it, what would that be, there’s a shape shifting character.

it’s like super mario brothers when you get the tanuki suit, you jump on the mushroom and then basically you become big, you go fast, you have super powers you jump high, game play is enhanced, and with the tanuki suit you get this magic item, this feather, if you get it you can jump and almost fly, you get lift off like a helicopter, its been a long time but the thing I’m pointing to is, imagine you have the power to shape shift, as powerful as incredible hulk but not as nasty and freakish as the fly, it’s not like a horror movie like Freddie Kreuger, nightmare on elm street part two where he comes out of the guy and just sheds him, that’s the ugly version, that’s not what I’m talking about, she’s elegantly sharing my space, I am her she is me, queen bee, cobra snake, transitioning to that with the beauty and elegance of the tanuki suit. Maybe in the Star Trek movie where Kirk ends up getting it on with a shape shifter, she was totally hot, she was actually a beast that can shape shift, imagine that you could totally shape shift into a creature and have it be seamless

it’s possible to invoke the goddess and for her to embody you, and not just putting on make up and pretending to be her iconic formation
I normally see her outside of me, this time more than ever, she enveloped me, I’ve been enveloped by her, clamped down on me, fucking me to purify my chakras, but still being outside of me, penetrating, workign through me, she can swim through me, but like being enveloped by a jellyfish, about to get teeth into my chakras

but this way, she is in my like thundercats

another bad version is like the Edgar suit from Men in Black, demons wear me like the Edgar suit, but Kali wears me to extract the demons from the Edgar suit so I can just be Edgar again, then she’s in the suit, but not possessing to do harm

Sufiana didn’t report becoming the insectoid being, but she described herself rolling out her tongue and hissing, the deity possession trance state, the shamanic healing state

I documented that process later, being very limited financially, very limited with legal sanctioning if at all, having some blessing and bold outlaws to join forces with me, not me manipulated a cult, but me offering educational tools, not involving my dick

I keep my pants on for people who are not my lovers, is that fair, that’s probably a fair way to say it, if you’re my client my pants are on, if you’re my lover, that’s negotiable

back to the non-invasive…able to move massive chunks, being rattled like a freight train, by her, squeezing and working with her to do the contracts, she’s doing the work of the abortion doctor, while I’ll in contracts and pushing out at the same time, it’s so harsh, but you know there have to have been abortions throughout time in crude conditions, certainly not modern legally sanctioned conditions, where the intent was to kill the fetus during the contractions of labor

she’s an insectoid alien goddess, with blackskin, and bejeweled eyes, like the tantric scriptures say, read the 1008 names of Kali and you’ll see the depictions

I need artists to help me with this, graphic novelists, visionary artists

if you could see a woman in labor, shaking convulsing, contracting, seizures and convulsion and simultaneously a female abortion doctor reaching in so as not to leave pieces inside trying to get everything out in one whole piece and eating that thing, but it’s not a baby it’s not in the womb, it’s demons in the chakras

an interplay between goddess kali as the hungry abortion doctor, it’s her doing what she’s evolved to do which is eat demons, I’m serving my demons to the goddess,

an interplay of surrender, and the embodying of the goddess through allow her energy and body to enter your body in a way that is non invasive, she is invasive but in a good way and in a welcomed way,

but no instruments, no cutting devices, no fingers, hands, sexual contact by humans, that’s the best way to describe what’s happening
been in this state many many times, what was different this time was the force

this was the first time I was able to do what I wanted to do all these years, was able to carry it out, to a potent degree, get a massive chunk of demonic biomass, with love and power and strength and courage of the goddess inside of me, her power to purge me, with her mandibles, ready to feast, and it being a much much bigger portion, to the degree that I got the sense that her stomach was full, it had only been oderves up to this point, they were just taking out small grains of rice with chopsticks, she was going in their with her salad tongs to get massive platefuls at once, she got so full, I felt like okay I’m exhausted, she’s full, but after these big chunks got out, hadn’t happened before

very light, blinding to the 3rd eye, sheaths my vision, no more seeing the demonic monsters coming out of me, that make alien look like bambi, all of it, once this massive chunk was taken out gets replaced by this beautiful white light, scaring me, did I damage my optic nerve, I’m just seeing pure white, fuck, there’s some kind of damage…no this is the loving light, dont’ freak out and panic now, go with it, enjoy

instructed to use my own hands, placed fingers against root chakra at the perineum, while the white light was there, use the power to seal the chakra, using massage, using this light healing energy, to use mudras, palm chakras, finger chakras, to do this healing work, like cauterizing a wound, the shakti through palm chakra and finger chakras whill the white light is there, wow, fuck yeah, anatomical surgical orthodoxy, what we think about when we talk about a chakra tune up

these analogies to auto mechanics and surgeons are very apt

you’re doing the work with her, auto-non invasive demonectomy

I had the power and free will to move my body, re-adjust for comfort, drink some water, get up and just make sure the door was locked, again, not ideal conditions

there you have it, what I’ve been working on for years, one of the most glorious since 5.5 year ago initiation with Sufiana

I would like to just be living in the world that we created, to never have been separated by financial duress, within the realm of reasonable periodicity, with medical staff, scientists, medical researchers, the Bangladesh UN security force, that’s what I fantasize about, having the support to do it right

this is like version 0.0001 of the technology, this is not ready, I don’t know what it’s ready for, if you’re suicidal right now and it’s a question of you killing yourself and you dabbling into what I’m talking about, I’m willing to take that risk, this isn’t medical advice, this isn’t therapeutic/psychiatric advise, I’ll make all the disclaimers, in the spirt of YOLO, (actually its not yolo because you live many times) don’t do this in the spirit that everybody wants to see the machine elves that Terence Mckenna talks about, this is a little more extreme than that, do this because it’s life and death for you right until we get the point with research to where so mild version exists, like salsa there will be mild, medium, hot, warning label, extreme hot

if you want to dabble because you’re an extreme case of demon infection, they’re in those hard to reach spots, there’s that song where my demons hide, you want to know, It’s possible to find out, I’m not gonna tell everyone to follow my path

Kali Mandir satsang, a lot of these scriptures, don’t think that they’re all agreed upon by all the priests and priestesses, there are things that are written in stone, but a lot of the scriptures were people exploring and taking notes, like a yogi could be saying “when I said this mantra, at this place and this time in this way, I got reversed gang banged by hot astral dakinis, and I don’t know if this will happen to you, this is me I’m doing me, you do you, I don’t want to implant thought forms and skew it, and contaminated the control group, I’m just trying to build on my own research, I love what the yogis say, talking about female astral non human entities, coming down purifying his soul and doing all this healing work, sounds like what I’m talking about and if he were on mushrooms he’d be able to describe in greater detail, or maybe he was a yogi that attained an endogenous psychedelic state

nothing new here, I’m saying things that have been suppressed for by patriarchy demonic war lords for 1000s of years, but were open source tech as sexual shamanic witchcraft, held by cultures of the world, just business as usually to maintain a shamanic community

when its a matter of infestation of lower chakras, there’s some modality that’s not creepy, predatory or abusive, to somehow empower people to have auto-non-invasive demonectomy sexorcism, auto invasive demonectomy sexorcism, I’ve milked my own prostate, kali possessing me, shards of light coming in, healing, demons coming out, most stunning gorgeous arrays, beauty is subjective, every woman and aspiring woman who ever put on make up with the intent to beautify herself, what every single one strives for is what can be seen when you invoke the goddess with these mantras, and with 3rd eye open with mushrooms

me doing me, phenomenologically, in my own bubble, the most beautiful feminine facial features, and graceful sensual movement, and just every woman or aspiring woman aspires to be, that’s what I’m given, that’s what I’m seeing and if it wasn’t for seeing that I would have ended me life a long time ago on this journey, the brutal beautiful truth is that you gotta go through hell to get to heaven, for the sake of what I’m saying now, I’ve seen the most grotesque creatures I could ever possibly imagine, and take all the monsters ever made in art and film and multiply that by a hundred, and you maybe will get close to how freakish and grotesque and disturbing and mortifying, miracle you’re not catatonic seeing this, the antidote to that hideousness, that makes it tolerable, to look at it as you’re pulling it out, the unpleasantness of removing a tape-worm, the unpleasantness of disinfecting that wound with that pus in it, and all of that, I know there are places in the world where there are blood parasite or urinary tract parasites, pulling a barbed fish parasite out of your urethra, that should feel pretty hideous and I bet that what I see in these ceremonies induces a similar level of mortification, disgust that you would have if you had to do that, while I’ve had to endure that hideousness, if you ever see the electron microscope of blood parasites, imagine if they were just, if you were in a realm where you were shrunken down to be in a massively dense cluster of all kinds of different blood parasites the ones with the circular mouths, and the ravor sharp thorny looking teeth, and weird suckers and pincers, the most alien, bizarre, monstrous, aquatic looking, arthropod looking blood parasites, imagine you were shrunken down a million times and being eaten alive but what, in scale wise becomes these giant giant monsters, then that’s what it feels like and looks like in there, I’m afraid to teach anyone to do what I have done because I fear that they would ever come back from that state of visual disturbance to where they wouldn’t just immediately slit there own wrists and literally rip there own eyes out,not knowing that they can’t reach far enough in to pull their pineal gland out, are you gonna crack open your head and pull your fuckin 3rd eye out and stomp on it, that’s what you’re gonna wanna do if you fuckin see the shit I’ve seen, omg, its nothing the shamans of the amazon don’t see every fucking day, it’s business as usual to have to confront these grotesque forms of life, if you know that you are bigger than them and you step back and you go no I’m not the shrunken millionth of a size me inside of of their world, their inside of my world and I can step up to them like standing up to a bully and I can exorcism them and I can purge them with the medicine, of course you have icaros in south America , and you have mantras in India, how to have syncretic shamanism, sacred sexuality and healing work, lets bring the best of the cultures and not be left with the patriarchal douche-baggery of suppressing the feminine

seeking the path of the goddess here we are, here I am

I get to see the antidote to that hideousness which is the extreme beauty

what makes it all worth it is the sweet beautiful blessed honor of beholding and being imbued with and making love with and being possessed by and suited up by, I have been suited up by the most loving most beautiful, most exquisitely constructed bioarchitecture deity, I don’t know maybe you gotta be the kind of person that things ants and bees are cute

this is the way to look at it, if you’ve ever thought of how in cartoons they’ve made ants and bees look pretty and feminine, and then sexualize that and m ake it into a super hot, goth, metal, sort of like, matrixy club, goth industrial club, shining latex, everything we think about the dark erotic, she is the dark erotic cartoon bee spider, just a cuteness and sexiness and a otherworldliness and an alienness, how many sexy beautiful loving aliens have we seen in sci fi, someone tell me, some show me some, I’m sure they’re in different comics and things, some of the arists they’re doing it, they’re bringing it, astral ecology with Tom Denney, his artwork is the cover of my book, you only have to wait until my book is released to see what I’m talking about, the beautiful feminine alien insectoid goddess who will turn you on, turn you inside out, but but you right back together, surgically restore the soul parts, tuck your chakras back in to your astral body, kiss you goodnight, tuck you in, all the works, the motherly maternal aspect, the sexual healing dakini wild, again, I’m saying nothing new, because you go to an orthodox kali puja and they are saying kali we love you you are the mother, you are the lover you are the friend, and not at all invoking, you hear the word mofo all the time in this culture, all over the world, I don’t know what’s going on there, this is not a Fredian Oedeple kink or neurosis, this is very different and it’s it’s own thing, I kind of went through my messiah complex already, at first I wanted everybody to fuckin know this, because it defeats the tyranny of all patriarchal world religions, more powerful more profound, more radical, more anarchistic, more revolutionary than any prophet, any christ, any saint, in buddha, any yogi, none of them delivery this unless they’re deep into the worship of kali or the tantric goddesses, of which kali is often considered to be the mother matriarchy, the queen bee of the many goddesses of the tantric pantheon, which is influenced with the vedic pantheon but has interplay ultimately with the village goddesses

the beauty is out there, the truth is out there, the beauty is in her, the truth is in there, you’ll see her the way I see her in Tom Denney’s book and on the cover of my book and I didn’t commission him to do that, he did that because he is tuned in as an artist, the way Terence Mckenna describes it to be an artist who sees the future, who can tap into the astral plane, or have the astral plane tap into them, wish me luck

pray for my protection, I’ll be doing my best to sheriff the perimeter of our reality and clean up the infection sites and to fortify the souls of the next generation and to really hospice the souls of this generation, where I am feeding and nourishing many goddesses and keeping myself as humble as possible with as small as a physical footprint of property ownership as possible, with as few possession as possible, and if surrender my money and wealth as it comes through as I have been doing to my beloved priestesses and trust that as long as they hold the sword above my hands and my head and they chose not to let the sword fall on to my arms and onto my neck than I will be continuing to do my work in a good way, and they will be the beneficiaries, they will be my sexecutioners if the time comes, each with their sharpened swords, ready to take a whack, so be it

Shamanic Pornography and the Ethics of Consent TPP230

Consent Panel Pic

In this episode I’m sharing the 2019 Xbiz Show Consent Round Table session where I respectfully introduced a question for the panel on the ethics of consent for psychedelic shamanic pornography. Not knowing how I’d be received it took a bit of bravery to speak up but I was met with gracious insight and advisement from industry veterans. They were on point with their concerns and dissuasive remarks, all of which I take to heart and value like gold. I feel that whether you’re a sex work, porn performer or producer, or so called “civilian” with no involvement in the sex industry, this panel is very enlightening, and I thank them all very much for briefly holding space for my niche question.

How the Plantrika Dr. Yalila Espinoza is Healing the Soul of Crypto TPP192

Play

Yalila PicIn this episode I’m joined again by Dr. Yalila Espinoza for an exploration of her medicine journeys into the heart of the cryptocurrency and blockchain movement.

I first hired Yalila to advise on an experimental healing ceremony design back in 2013 after discovering her great works online. Now over 5 years later, we’ve remained colleagues and friends in the shamanic space, and have done two previous podcast episodes, it turns out we’ve also been deeply immersed in crypto-psychedelia.

It was an exquisite gift to be able to have her on the show this time to talk about this aspect of our life journeys that we hadn’t yet connected on, and see the many emergent properties of mutual understanding and shared analysis.

She’s been doing some amazing work to bring sacred wisdom teachings, ceremony, ritual, and other shamanic modalities into the the heart and soul of the crypto movement. Knowing she has stepped up in this way feels like a new multi-dimensional super heroine has arisen to build bridges from the amazon jungle to silicon valley, wall street, and beyond.

Please visit her website at:
https://inner.one

About Yalila:
With this unique moment of cultural evolution, Espinoza finds herself at the center of an ecosystem where powerful business and technology influencers are asking for healing and wholeness.  While working in hospitals within a medical model and then conducting her PhD research on wellness and healing, she noticed the gap in the delivery of health services and the chasm between her own esoteric spiritual offerings and the specific needs of thought leaders. Espinoza found that her clients, while pioneering new businesses and technologies tended to suffer from burnout, depression, and disease. She realized transforming the human and machine networks of the world, like the Internet, must begin with physical, emotional, and mental transformation of the self. So in 2017, Espinoza founded InnerNet, an integrated wellness advisory offering online programs, one-on-one coaching, and retreats designed to optimize leaders’ potential to realize their missions with creativity, clarity, and compassion.

couple of times before please go to my website and look up you’ll be the Espinoza you will find some very deep it’s a very deep Rabbit Hole added to the things we’ve gotten into in the past with Shamanism and healing work and now we’re going to be talking about healing and Shamanism through technology and through blockchain and all really new and exciting developments that to have have cut the world taking the World by storm and we are Kindred Spirits in our approach to I would say the the promise of of a decentralized more mycelial type of networking architecture for governance and for autonomy in for communities in in having that deep lens of shamanic practitioner work and in Journey work we can I would say really resonating really commiserate on the need for a a bottom-up approach to solving the world’s problems in in and starting with the financial problems in the capital distribution problems startup funding problem venture capital for women Founders for people who are doing philanthropic work there’s a huge need for this and also there’s a lot of people who are outspoken psychedelic Warriors within the crypto space I know that the anarchapulco conference has a a sort of there their opportunities for for for ceremonial work that that I’ve heard about and there’s also a crypt of psychedelic conference that’s happened at least once already if I don’t know if it will win next one is being planned but I had to have some some conversations with folks around that already so I’m looking forward to catching up with you you Lila and please tell us all about what you been up to and I love to just hear that they love story of you you’re you’re recording of the blockchain tech I love hearing about how people you know get seduced and then become Believers yes thank you so much for having me and saw the listeners I look forward to connecting and whatever way is in the cosmic alignment so it’s interesting because I’ve reflected in the past week about my journey with in Shamanism psychedelics and now technology because I’m giving a talk actually later today in San Francisco and I I looked at how you know focusing on the Life Energy centers of our body and how I started off an academic world in the medical model working in hospitals really focused on health and wellness and what does that mean for humans in in this part of our Evolution and became dissatisfied and then went into you could say that the third Energy Center of power and when it is Shamanism and in terms of you know how energy is used in in healing and really the base of a believe in Shamanism is around at the power to tap into these energies to know them to work with them and be in service to our community and so the power of the light in the dark and shamans choosing which way they want to search time is it really the the key difference so I went into a long journey in Shamanism personally 3 Anjali and going down into the previant jungle and having my first three months at Journey with Ayahuasca and tobacco and it’ll in isolation very intense journey and that really well 13 years ago was the start of my connection with technology and Consciousness I realize that now reflecting back because in that dream journey and isolation I came out of that we call them deetta’s I called him so much Journeys and out of that three months you know one might expect you and I are I love myself and I found God or if you know found my purpose in life what I asked that came out of that Journey with was the importance of finding a way to bridge traditional Shamanism with contemporary technology and that for me to be in the world and actually thrive in the simplest way what I needed was my iPhone in one hand and my pipe into back one another and with those two technologies I would be able to to learn how to reconnect with the soul of technology so so then I didn’t think much of it at the time but really then it led me to the second Energy Center and all-around sexuality and sensuality I did my PhD research on that and when it’s my own Journey around that piece of of my healing that needed to happen and then was serving as a counselor and a Healer around sexuality and psychedelics which maybe cuz I was speaking at Horizons in New York on the on my research study and that’s what I met in 2013 the sum of the blockchain folks and one of them in particular who is hosting me we became good friends and he led me into the folks who actually work Hill from the co-founders of aetherium in the start-up projects that were happening in your cat at that time is pretty early 2013-2014 and I can’t I didn’t think much of think much of the technology I just didn’t have that background so I couldn’t understand it but was fascinating is through my serving in an offering psychedelic Journeys Inn in South America to these folks in the blockchain world I was actually able to see how the mechanism of this technology in ceremony so my first taste of it was actually seen it you know hallucinating or altered state and seeing the connection somehow the minds of these blockchain folks are so strong I think it generally in the tech world that it was such a was so invigorating and an exciting because that I could actually asked him to show me you know quantum physics and mathematical equation I could see it and so then okay that I went to you no more of the written information and actually learning about the code and and seeing how and if practical way they would this information was being ground within the blockchain technology and then all the incredible positives that came out of this technology could be the foundation of a whole new like paradigm shift in the way that values is exchanged so that was really exciting to me and you know this this took me a good for years to learn I’m a slow learner and one way but I also like to learn deeply so I was learning it experientially and then your written material talking to a lot of the blockchain founders of Neo various companies and then he knows Tina and action and actually you know getting some of these apps and in learning me know what they can actually do and going to a lot of conferences watching Converses and and that just got really caught up in just the excitement you know this is a space that is just draws a lot of innovative minded future thinkers and innovators and you know just a sense of camaraderie and supporting each other and I couldn’t believe how welcomed I was as coming from academics in healing they they respected me and I respected them and I was able to learn how to you no make that bridge from my world to their worlds and really getting excited about the exchange of our information and so I just was seduced by I not only they technology but the people that were drawn to it and the dedication to changing our our economic Paradigm & in the way that we set up all kinds of you know housing and you know land and food and it is just so incredible so you know here we are 5 years later and I’m still right in the mix of it and you’re really excited now about virtual reality and Ai and how that can be bridged into the ceremonial space that’s that’s my journey so far in NFL well that was so amazing and I just was having chills and I could just cinematically follow along and when you got to the point of when you said you were able to see how the technology Works in ceremony that was so deeply moving and so beautiful because it’s such a multi-dimensional phenomenon and if in it’s so multi-layered into to appreciate I think I I made this comment to a friend is all it was a very very high level developer in his face and he and I I just made a joke in a recent podcast with him I said the Bitcoin makes Bitcoin makes crop circles looks like look like a play school set you know in terms of the degree of multidimensionality that goes into it and it is it is such a I mean and Andreas Antonopoulos recently and in one of his podcast video presentations and interviews he he said that when he read the Bitcoin first year of the Bitcoin white paper but then when you actually read the code it was for him basically like a symphony and he was brought to tears when he could understand the genius of it and it’s so apt for a for psychedelic journey to be able to ask for this for this field of of wisdom and information and Math and Science and Technology and code for it to just presented itself and dance in your mind for you in that place of ceremony where anything’s possible anything can be visualized and so I just think that is so beautiful on the inside knowing that you also this is really mind-blowing for me to knowing that you have this I wasn’t aware so much so basically we had already been talking and both of us had had this sort of like part of our subconscious basically beginning to be initiated into the space but we weren’t really because it wasn’t of our direct backgrounds it wasn’t an instant sort of I guess it didn’t click instantly for me I was explain how work and I thought it was cool and I was like yeah that’s internet money for anarchists that’s awesome you know but I wasn’t an investor I wasn’t a coder and it took a while once I went through you know the second Energy Center sexuality and and it was beat the psychedelics it actually showed me the importance of myself dropping my energy down into the first root Center where you no money safety you know security that whole place at a lot of healers you know maybe feel uncomfortable in or don’t have the opportunity to be in that often that I was able to really staying in this Center and part of it was that I was getting paid in crypto you know years ago from some of my clients who are you know the pioneers and in blockchain and I didn’t understand what that meant at the time I was like okay I guess they’re very kind and helping me open up my first Bitcoin wallet etcetera and I didn’t even understand it at the time and effort to understand it because you know what that meant for me and how to do the exchanges and things like that so I started off and makes it more The Surreal level of the fit if you say mathematics and physics and seeing how matters to me is a version of God of that Godlike energy and seeing how it comes down into the code it is beautiful really need and you see it yeah I totally agree and you know that I don’t know if you how big of a Terrence McKenna fan you are thinking of becoming more of a Dennis McKenna fan over the years but something that I loved about so endearing to me about about a lot of his talks was when he talked about the feminine Spirit of internet technology and how excited he was that we would be able to eventually use things like VR to give people immersive training or sort of it be able to create a visual language like the Ayahuasca experience where we could start to really understand each other better through through a universal language that is symbolic but also based on objects and colors in math and it to me this is such a fulfillment of that feminine Force coming through a lot of people who are you know he would always say that you go to a Silicon Valley startup office and it’s all these microdosing you know acid heads with hair down to their ass and I’d like to hear I know there was a time when you were when you were when you were starting to talk about Silicon Valley and bringing the medicine the same to you go and bring the medicine to those who are really reshaping reality from that level of of power of Technology do you want to just talk more about maybe without disclosing anything confidential of course just some of the some of the before and afters you’ve had the makeovers that you’ve had with some of the tech Geeks and how they’ve how they’ve been able to be massaged by that the medicine Spirits have become to Adorn one of them did gently say to me if they feel it’s not a lie to myself that is that a techie kid learning to love that part in myself and and and also honoring that you know every person is different in their enemies that divers field and that there are some common patterns that I have seen and the fact that I was given the directions psychedelics to serve a particular Community around the you know very influential and Powerful leaders in the text field that I’ve been able to track and and see how they actually lead differently in and really the the number one thing is the realization that the transformation is starts with the inner transformational journey and so even having the giving themselves that time you know few days it’s you sink into a different space in their mind right so it’s not like I have a container and say okay everyone thinking about your project Source. You know you know this go back to your family history and I want you to cry or something not at all what I was seeing is that the synthesis the stamina in the dedication in the Brilliance of these of these folks and that it really good-hearted people and that they were passionate about what they were doing and giving their mind that’s almost like the ceremonial space giving their mind a space to allow other information that may not be in their Consciousness you know at the time she come through and that’s where you hear about folks you know even the microdosing folks if they go to Peru and sit with Anna Ayahuasca Circle and I you know ask a question of it a problem that they’ve had you know mathematical equation or some something on their project they can’t quite figure out and that giving up space to have the different kind of intelligence guide them in in discovering a piece of the puzzle and so I find that you know when in general folks being very compassionate and curious and how these intelligence come together the other thing is in terms of their leadership is that once they are hard intelligence because that’s really a lot of the psychedelics the sacred psychedelics are helping us to tap into that heart energy into once they are in love energy seeing that the influence that makes and how they engage with their team member so you know more of a knowledgement that is it you know they’re all together in this project and higher level and it really honoring people for where they’re at in the heart of leadership is is learning how to inspire people to grow within the company within their teams within the project until having more patients and you know seeing the bigger picture so it’s not all about profit and yes of course I’m surprised and seeing that if if there’s a dedication to the why of their company and of the people that are there then that why and the purpose of the collective purpose actually creating more success and inflow with within the within the company so that’s one pattern also that I’ve seen Etsy the other that the third one is is around these texts Psychonauts of the learning how to bridge technology and spirituality which is always been one of my big passions and I didn’t really know how it so they’ve taught me a lot and in how this connection can unveil itself and in many ways and then coming from their religious background or spiritual background and then how they think of of math and in quantum physics in relation to a fascist like it blows my mind you know when they’re talking to me about this cell this Ray this field of the interplay between the Divine and the and form and structure and yeah I didn’t mean to cut you out there to say I wanted to make that mention so please continue the inner transformation and their their passion and purpose and then the second with the love more love and compassion for all the teams and and then that the more philosophical connection here that those those really stand out for me folks that were with me five years ago are still with me so I actually am able to track you know connect with the Divine or connect with the love Center I mean it cuz it’s not that simple everyone is sort of you’re learning a different piece and and so really what I love to do is trade space that people can share these pieces with each other and in how that actually informs that transition for their next step you know when whatever fits a personal life or professional life but it is still fascinating to me and I’m so very you know intimately woven in with with the baseballs beautiful well knowing now even more haven’t you said all of this which is so beautiful and invigorating and exciting and I just I’m so I’m so glad we’re just In This Moment having this conversation because it has been I feel like I’m it’s been extremely painful and in in triggering for me to to look at the shadow of what’s happening in this in this space which is you know I’m going to ask you to bear with me for a minute while I kind of organize my thoughts on how to how to bring this Dimension to the conversation in a in a good way I’m going to Omit using that the names of any individuals that I will not going to call anybody out or or put any putting it in the spotlight to anyone but but it’s it’s what would what I can see if we step back from from a more shamanic perspective is that there is a in absolute crisis of hyper toxic masculine Behavior that’s creating these extremely almost mythical an archetypal Wars of the Gods and end DIYs always think it’s a play on words to think about how Davis and Davies in in the in and they can talk about the devil’s right so there is it’s almost like The Vedic battles in the sky to me these genius mathematicians cryptographers programmers and them their armies of now the Speculator there’s all these high frequency trading robot armies that are trolling the warring factions and so it’s kind of like if you were to open The Vedas and you see them describing these battles of cities in Disguise and all of his alien foreign hyper advanced technology and the sort of drama playing out and the people on Earth are watching this drama and just trying to trying to create some record of it and most of it is just completely unintelligible to them cuz it’s so far out and so Advanced and almost seems like there’s just this war of the AstroWorld coming down and and duking it right above Earth dropping debris from that that Astro Battlefield and things just like falling on people’s heads and then people just scratching their heads trying to make sense of it so you have the bestest what’s coming to my mind when I think about these these programmers and their projects and their their Venture funding and all of these different puppeteers of technology in this battle between open source and closed source and regulated and unregulated in public and private blockchain Jaden and if it would it would it all is sort of sort of this rhyme of history is just these patriarchal warlord and we would calm just really do she really kind of integrated uninvolved masculine guys who are who are gorgeous and I’m just they’re just getting more and more narcissistic and sociopathic and they’re tweeting and and the technology of social media creates this really kind of Twisted Echo chamber and when I when I bring this up sometimes people will say of you know you’re trying to use psychedelics in ceremony and Shamanism as a Panacea and you know it’s not a magic pill and you know but I just keep saying like I think I need to hear these men do that family work and be brought into a ceremony where do certainly the ones that are that are just creating like threatening to just nuclear meltdown of all the cryptos in the opposing camps and just using their stashes of Mega you know stashes of of Bitcoin to flood the market and to manipulate as tactical that what they call the hash worse but that just happened in probably the hash words just knocked bitcoin price and 1/2 they’re just waving around these lightsabers and in in digging into the charts and and I one waiting for the sort of like trumpeting angels to come in and bring in the Davies you know the akalis in a Durga is going to come in and start grabbing these These are is Zeno by the by the Scruff of their neck and in and actually intervene so I’m wondering I know that’s a lot but anybody who is his familiar with yoga Tantra me all the scriptures that the talk about these epic battles or even from the Western perspective that the mythical Gods fighting you know this is not new and what seems to be the promise of the Shakti movement of Tantra and the Psychedelic feminist movements coming out of their group that you’re involved with there’s got to be some maternal wisdom brought to these boys and their toys you know so that she take it from there I totally resonate with this the Epic War analogy because it is real is that I’ve been to blockchain conferences and meetups in cities all over the states and and you’re up and and what really carries me through and I feel so fortunate somehow I have this eternal optimism and I certainly see the shadow I see the darkness 10 gauge with it and I’m still very optimistic and I think it’s really in my own connection with the sacred psychedelics in that they’re continually I feel like they got my back and they’re continually raising me up and and encouraging me and motivating me a stay steady with in the turmoil and I feel like for a lot of us and probably folks listening that this is part of our role is to learn how and these These are at War like an energy battle that we are centered and we emanate that that love and not always loving everyone per se you know that’s around us and in this these toys with our boys with toys and I do feel I can honestly say neutral when I meet them and I and I just said luck and I just what I’m doing is I’m like an anthropologist and I’m watching am seeing how they’re engaging with the but that the people around them and I start where people are at right so when I’m speaking to some of these folk is not like I think he would be good for you to do family systems work and come to this you know come to Peru like I would never say that I start or people are at I’m like what motivates you right now and you know once the trust his is built by and continually is is building and there’s a softening that happened so you know for me in 5 years in and I I do believe that there is a beautiful sense of respect for each other and trust this building and I’m watching where this energy takes us play so I what I can get really involves is the patience and perseverance and faith and that this is you know way bigger than me I’m being in service and being directed by these other intelligences along with my own you don’t be Discerning and where to actually Channel my energy and then I’m patient and it’s been tough you know I really wanted to get into some of these blockchain meetings and and I have actually is sometimes I’m like okay let’s talk about the let’s talk about how you know the technology is actually had of our human consciousness level as well as our laws right so you know how can we catch those pieces up to the level that technology to actually maximize the benefit of it and then you know how can we actually expire is that Founders and CEOs and and developers to to build that projects that are noble that have elevated intentions that that is a sense of good for all I do feel it’s possible yeah I totally agree I Kevin this is the most thrilling and exciting development in my entire life for sure if not in the history of the battle of Good and Evil on Earth that’s I really feel like it and you can see it it brings out the best and can sometimes bring out the worst but but really even those who would be considered more more super villains now in the space the lot of them started out as Jedis training humbly with Yoda it you know so they all have that imprint of that desire to do good eyebrows really very few people who I think are are fundamentally irredeemable I mean I don’t know if I feel better that way about anybody in the darker the shadow is the more potential there is to bring that medicine from those places so I agree with you and then I fly it’s I guess it’s easy for me to say or easier for me to say in some senses because I am a white mostly cis-male and so I don’t experience some of the author of out of the exclusion and in sometimes bigotry but at least at least Prejudice and you know it was through the women in crypto track at the crypto invest Summit in La last year that I discovered things like there’s only four percent of female CEOs in the US at least and then only 2% of venture funding goes to women Founders and that studies have proven that female executives are more profitable so whether you’re a feminist or not you’re leaving money on the table if you’re in any kind of a position of power in the business world in the investment world to not be creating more balance in in that in that space so I guess I’d like to ask psychedelic feminism Financial feminism women in crypto women in blockchain do you find yourself a building strong Sisterhood networks in circles amidst all of the other boys with toys as he said to align myself with very brilliant women in the field and be there and so we’re learning with each other and what’s just so inspiring is that some of these clients who are in their late 20s early 30s forging ahead and they sell I don’t know how they do it but they just have this determination and and also feminine ways of going through these hurdles in their in their workplace and them in the company’s and let me know some of them Founders and dealing with the hiring of a lot of that males and and and how that that plays out in the power struggles and they just they have such Grace and I just witness them you know managing it all in a way that’s it really inspiring and stay and then when they’re also going through these psychedelic Journeys I see that they just become more and somebody’s determined and focused and incompetent and and you know they’re also patients over time I see them gain their respective of their colleagues and you take a couple years of storming and and then there’s this is kind of settling that happens and so I I am extremely inspired by the women in blockchain in particular and just wants to be in service to them in any way I can so that they can continue to forge ahead also well on that note I would say we should definitely spend the rest of this our here just having you tell us all about more in detail what it is that you provide and what you’re offering and what your projects are now we got I think this was a good sort of philosophical overview and Andre connection for you and me to to get to get caught up in the space but I really would like to hear more and maybe we can also I guess we can go for as long as you are available at today and in this timeframe to talk about your projects and introduce what you’re doing with your hair with your new your new Ventures and and really make this more of a of a promotional pitch for the remainder promotional pitch for me that’s it really exciting right now is I would love to connect with folks who are working in the VR AI space and are interested in psychedelics not only interested but wanting to create platforms where people can engage in these different fields at virtually and so I know it’s happening I am in San Francisco right now I’m going to meet some some folks in the field tonight and for anyone who’s listening that I would just appreciate a shout out and I’m please connect with me that info info a 10.1 i n n e r o n e because I I really interested in collaborating I would love to work on a team whether it’s already clean a project that’s happening right now or someone wants start one I just have so many ideas about how this could coming to that material in the world and I know a lot of folks in the you know blockchain developers as well as healing practitioners and really wanting to be a bridge between these worlds in and connect folks who can contribute to a project like this so that’s my first pitch in terms of concrete offerings right now I think my two favorite people in the world now that had I met through the blockchain space are this Penelope and America they are the Cyber code Twins and their East LA born and raised Latina women in Tech who have taken the World by storm they’ve got TED Talks they have been winning hackathons and they have I think one of the things they developed together with second virtual reality drug and alcohol rehabilitation immersive experience for people who can’t afford to go to like Celebrity Rehab and that’s one application I don’t know what their personal interest is necessarily in psychedelic Shamanism however they seem to be very open-minded and they are 8 leaving One Like a White House award or something like that they’re just absolutely storming the charts of the women in crypto and I’ll send you a link to one of their TED talks but yeah I know that there it would probably be really good allies in that and not space I just wanted to mention them and then yeah go on please continue practical way the internet is offering three different project and the 1st is out there called dinner one Retreats and so these are live 225 day Retreats held in beautiful places for folks to get back to their vital bodies and be rejuvenated by nature to these are wellness retreats and you know cluding Mayo massage and Sound by sand yoga and meditation life coaching and team-building exercises and then some of the in South America do include Ayahuasca and someone Mexico include psilocybin so those are those Retreats and then there is an online program it’s called zero to one building blocks to Wellness and it is I was here I consider it more of like a integration platform for people so that they can continue harvesting the the fruit of what comes out of these lab Retreats or vice a versa can be a good preparation for Allegra tree and it’s focusing on daily Wellness practices and it’s interesting after how many years in the Psychedelic world I’ve actually gone back to the basics and I feel that you know it’s wonderful to be in a journey and see all kinds of amazing things and we still are in bodies in this lifetime in this earth and that I’m going back to you what we are drinking and eating our sleeping near so many books speakers that focus on this and a night it’s because it’s so essential it’s in so really the program going back to the basics and I just reminding us to be but I guess being mindful of our daily practices so that’s the 0 to 1 and then there’s another piece that is it’s actually new and it’s it’s pretty exciting I’m working with a group in Europe and it’s called Legacy Ventures and we’re going to be offering Retreats that actually is facilitated by many different facilitators and shamans from around the world and and so I’m just one of them one of many and offering Retreats on the difference element so have a 1 focus on fire and having fire ritual what does that mean in our lives and in her a lot of these folks are in our Business Leaders CEOs and and then another Retreat focus on the water and the Earth in the air and then that sacred Center so that’s just starting this year and it’s it’s really exciting for me to be cooperative with other leaders and also I just opening up to the European folk sand and feeling so what is that like and what are they wanting these days and then see the parallels in the differences between the United States and Canada and Mexico so that. In a nutshell is what I’m up to you for this year that is so amazing what we do a push-up real needs everything you’re doing now more than ever and I’m just so thrilled I feel like I’m reading a comic book or something in your just the new Marvel comic book superhero in this of swords and in just adding these new new levels of armor and magic and Empower I can just see I see the the sort of thing I get a better sense of the multi-dimensional warrior Goddess that you have just become an indigenous is so exciting to me to tell me more folks who I don’t have to run into a brick wall trying to explain the the seriousness the timeliness the importance the relevance the you know it’s really really demoralizing and sometimes heartbreaking for me when I get stonewalled it’s not about it’s not about losing out on the opportunity 4000 X Games it’s about losing out on the under this will be some I see it is one of the most rare opportunities in the history of political discourse certainly political economic discourse where the radical libertarian and some people would like to use the word left anymore but definitely from the the libertarian to the anarchist perspective this is one of the first time ever that anything from these camps actually became not just mainstream but was so Superior that it was subversive as a side effect of its superiority to the to the to the disorder let me know Malcolm and Malcolm X I believe said something like if you want it over to the system you have to create a better one system but make the old system obsolete is really what it comes down to so I love it when people talk about the Legacy banking system and the Legacy voting system and it’s like we’re already in this Ann turkel crypto Anarchist future where people from Wall Street are defecting enjoying the Occupy Wall Street movement and bringing their bags of capital with them and you know I love people like I will say the name of Joe Lubin I think he is one of my most beloved and endear real shining examples of coming from a feminine place of problem solving and team building in and you see how his Vibe is really impenetrable to all of the pickings and and browbeating is of the progressive alt masc so cheers to him and into the others and Andria’s and other people who keep out of the drama so yeah before I go too far off into the weeds I want to thank you so much again in to see if you would like to share your your website links and maybe if you would if you have time to just give us a bit of a closing meditation that that brings us all together those who were cryptophobia can those who are crypto douchiest and everything in between let’s let’s all make space for each other around this fire. One i n n e r o n e and email is info at in and either myself or my members will respond as soon as we can definitely look forward to connecting with some of you listening now I know that there’s Brilliance all around us and it’s a matter of coming together and matching are our gifts together okay so in terms of thinking of our energies I invite everyone to receive a deep breath then I’ll land here together and reflecting on all this information that has been shared and inviting you to feel in your body where does this information land for you how are you feeling is there an a butterfly’s is your mind buzzing butterflies in the belly butterflies in the heart what’s with activated for you and breathing in is energy and I asked if you’re willing to commit 21 action step spell connecting with you know how you’re feeling right now are you feeling at your best at your most joyful place in this moment in this conversation and then are you committed to an action step that will actually Manifest this feeling and you are unique Vision in the world is taking a minute be very simple drinking more water and it could be very big like asking the sacred psychedelic that you next connect with is it for you anything in between what’s one action step you’re willing to commit to you within the next seven days that will feed nurture your essential contribution in this world then yourself and externally with in the world mache beautiful Williston I just want to say Dad don’t be a stranger please please keep me posted and in the anything that’s coming up any new developments that you want to share even if it’s just a little Clipper Sound by three segments you always feel always free to a to send me anything or to Anna to take to come back on the show I think you were definitely in good company with the other folks who have to drive me on this journey if I explain this material and yeah it’s it’s it’s a real joy to to have met and you know I’m just thinking back into the feeling back into the origin story of how you and I connected in the place that I was in in the what would I resonated with you and the sort of healing journey in the wounded healer journey and now and it’s like look at us now you know we have survived and we’re driving and that’s great so I acted with and also the listeners and one thing anyone who’s still listening if you’ve made it this far. Ancestral Foods as Culinary Shamanism with Shonagh Home TPP188

Shonagh Home Pic

In this episode I’m joined again by one of my most respected psychedelic shamanic heroines, Shonagh Home.  We discuss the culinary shamanism of ancestral foods and how she has helped herself, her family, me, and many others kick the habits of toxic addictive and misguided disease causing diets. She shares about her upbringing and how her health and fitness conscious youth years created a strong foundation for her to speak from experience.

She provides an amazing overview of the groundbreaking work of some of the most influential researches that have helped myth bust the commercialized, factory farmed diet and restore the legacy of nutrient dense diets.

To balance the disturbing and disgusting harsh truths about the poisons we’re ingesting and how they’re destroying our bodies, our families, communities, and the planet, we the explore the positive hopeful and empowering merits of:  eating animal organs beyond just the meat, raw dairy as wholesome comfort food replacements, farmers markets, biodynamic and permaculture farming, holistic dietary strategies for behavior moderation to end the drugging of school kids, medicinal culinary herbs, resources and recipes for new parents, do-it-yourself fermentation, bitters, her one-on-one nutritional therapy retreats, her forthcoming women’s school, and much more!

Com and our journey together will begin podcast episode number 188 than being joined Again by the lovely Shawna home and we are going to kind of pick up from where we left off in the last episode getting deeper into the holistic Arts and Sciences so that the Culinary Arts events estriol foods and really understand the context there were in now with the sad standard American diet and all of the health problems that are just cascading and what fundamentals I really should be learning about exploring for this is really geared towards new parents who are in the midst of all of the duties that they now have trying to read labels and know what’s what as far as what to avoid so this I hope can be a really good primer that’s going to be pretty Timeless because we’re talking about human biology hasn’t changed in hundreds of thousands of years that the gut Flora the you know what are tongue is used to navigating in the environment to find what we needed or so much intelligence that we are being really abused and and and really manipulated and in having our senses turn against us so plenty to to get into in a moment I just want to also thank you so much sauna for having gifted me access to your Visionary mushroom practicum course and I literally just as of about an hour or so ago I have finished the the final module and binged on it and so I’m just filled with all of that great wisdom and care that you put into it and I want to say there’s so much to explore with that and probably will save that for another episode but for now I’m going to definitely put a permanent banner on my website that can funnel folks from my audience to to check that out I think it’s probably one of the most important units of of learning that I have found myself experienced in that I really want anyone else in the world who who loves the mushrooms you know a millionth of as much as I do to catch up and relieve integrate that course into their their romance so with the sacred mushroom so yeah with all that said Sean if you want to just kind of get yourself a bit and bring us up to speed on what you been up to and then we can get into the main topics I am a therapist I’m in a really am a therapist for all intents and purposes and mostly these days conduct one-on-one Retreats and so and what I offer is really unique on most people would say actually hell no I have I have my client come to my home and they stay through the week with me and so they arrive on Sunday afternoon they leave Friday morning and it’s buried deep psycho-spiritual work and IT addresses the very deep layers of patterning and includes time spent out in nature includes different shamanic therapies if you will still retrieval and guided Journey that kind of thing and also the food place a big role because darn near every when it comes with dealing with some issues including anxiety and depression which can be assisted greatly through food in addition to working with someone who has a good handle through the inner deeper layers of the psyche and so that is really feel like I’m in my Dharma that has been wonderful and then I do sessions just one on one therapy sessions with people usually buy a Skype cuz everyone’s all over the place these days any of it but I do know and I should say also been I have there is a book coming out in April called psychedelic Mysteries of the feminine creativity ecstasy and healing and so that is a compilation of writings from different women in a few man but mostly women and so I was approached a couple of years ago by the editors were in London to contribute a chapter so I wrote a chapter on the reclaiming the mod that the Medicine Woman for the modern times because we had Michael Pollan who did a fabulous job with his book oh yeah your mind yeah that came out last May and now we got the ladies coming so yeah awesome I’m so glad to hear that yeah we all have a lot of catching up to do and all your great works and it’s been just absolute honor and pleasure so far to to know I think we’re on maybe the fourth or fifth episode together on this podcast and it’s just always a great ongoing journey in and now I’m having again gone through that course now I really want to say that I feel like the work you’re doing is just absolutely so precious and and really in this in this epic of life on Earth it’s really one of a kind and so I feel like this is a radically transforming a lot and and really helping to very delicately and very thoughtfully kind of thumb unravel some of the more toxic myths and even some of the top even some of the toxic Miss amongst the people who are trying to do their best to be holistic and end Progressive and forward-thinking and and it’s really young some of the subjects that are taboo talking about kind of reclaiming ancestral diet sand and seeing Beyond some of the really I would say they’re they’re like fad fad diets and maybe one less thing I’ll say before before asking you to kind of start out start us off with them you know a an exploration of where we’re at with the modern diet and ships we can be making their it’s just it’s been it’s been coming to me that no Animal product diets even the raw diet for example these when I think about what I think is the fact that there really isn’t an indigenous society that hold that has evolved in a natural environment to have these ideals and to have these limitations on what is food and whatnot food and what is ethical eating was not ethical eating and I know we’re so far most of us from from that we’re both of the food chain in a in a sustainable way and I get it why people want to almost do like a hunger strike almost it’s a protest movement when I get it and I’ve been a part of it but what I feel like is maybe you overlooked is the notion that we like to say decolonize your mind decolonize this and that but but if we if we actually applied decolonize your your kitchen and in your pantry you know then we’re going to be talking about where did these ideas what is the timeline of some of these have some of these fad diets and what what do we need to know sort of to decode and and and so yeah you you you’ve already been the Catalyst to have the deepest most the bridge to some of the ancestral diet material has been literally rebuilding and restructuring me to the DNA level since since that kind of came down to the Grapevine and so want to give you plenty of time now to just help us understand the dead stuff out of your research there and yeah let’s to have you just go on about it I will say first of all that you know I grew up in Toronto Canada and my parents new zero about you know nutritionally dense foods no one to really right because they only know knew what they were taught and that is true today as well fortunately and the dominant Narrative of course is pushed by commercial interests that are profiting greatly on our suffering and so so I have to stay though I just unnaturally preferred just the more I probably nutrient-dense foods and so even like we don’t we were raised on breakfast area which thank God I never gave to my two grown daughters and and so I would choose through the best of the worst I remember choosing Special K / Frosted Flakes I just worked out better in anyway and I loved I loved me I love Stoops enough bacon hated liver shunt like now but anyway my mom is some traditional Irish meat and potatoes kind of cook and and not to creative there and then I remember when we moved to the states and I started I was long distance running and I ran one morning past was in this little town past the shop and had a big carrot dangling out the front of the store and it turned out it was a health food store and I never been in one before and I made a mental note of that says early in the morning and then I went back there later and and just discuss peanut butter with oil on top of all this cool stuff and I was I just felt like right at home and and I remember a 16 saving my babies babies babysitting money for a juicer because it did not I mean we didn’t have veganism Ernie that at that time I just wanted to let you know juice vegetables cuz it’s very good for you and I still do it today in any case I never dieted I was always super athletic I never had a problem with weight but I just never bought the whole back then I graduated high school and 81 okay just give me my gym 50 almost 56 and so I never bought into the whole low-fat no-fat deal because I was like with no butter like hell no no way they can’t do that and I’m so grateful because now we are seeing the detrimental effect this has had on people you know any people back then having egg white omelets and just white meat on the chicken no skin like it was just such an awful way to eat and an inn really harmed people healthwise and and so I just I would say by the way I like to eat and I’ve eaten this way for years now if I just call it as close to the farm as possible and I’ll tell you I a number of years ago I did Fast and the fast lasted first me like hen J’s to be probably 13 years ago and I was just reading different books cuz I’m an autodidact and so I love to research that’s how I spend my time reading and researching and end and learning and that’s when I found out about Vic the vegan diet and I was reading this one but cannot. Will that food looks good maybe I’ll break my fast with that try that for a little bit which I did and I did the raw vegan sing for almost a year and so I can speak to it I mean I went down to dr. Gabriel cousens place and I met and I was eating all the superfoods and I was alright avocado cacao loaded with a sweetheart but now I am a Celtic Woman mostly Scottish and Irish and my people did not they were not be concerned so what happened was after maybe eight or nine months of that my body was screaming for me but at that point I was like oh no I’m and I and this is something we as humans it’s just seems to be human nature you know we can get 40 dogmatic and she identified with our belief systems and so that lasts another couple months and then I actually had signed up for a course in the Seattle area with the MTA the nutritional Therapy Association and it was like a turd 11 month course was very very in-depth with a beautiful thing was was based on the work of dr. Weston a price who was a dentist out of Cleveland in the twenties and he grew up in a farm and he was quite robust healthy guy and he noticed more and more in the 20s if they progressed more patients coming in with cavities like a lot of cavities and he noticed that their jaws were becoming more narrow so they couldn’t accommodate the teeth and he was one of these wise fellows who put two and two together and just I think this might have to do with all this new food we’re eating because of that food was shifting markedly to the foods of Commerce essentially Factory Foods sweetened condensed milk a lot more white flower a lot more white sugar and it was affecting People’s Health and so he had I think it was a nephew who weather Philly ated with National Geographic I think of the time in and he was saying listen you should study some of these healthy cultures around the world that are still intact because Anthropologist have been digging up skulls with these beautifully form Jaws perfect teeth like these people were extraordinary healthy and and were made to think by the way that the Ancients were they didn’t live past 25 and they were so unhealthy and and nothing could be further from the truth and it obviously would depend on where you were located and what was going on at the time and I will say that the Roman scholar Plutarch when he came upon the British Isles he wrote those British Islanders don’t show their age till they’re a hundred and twenty now he wasn’t making a joke he was commenting on the extraordinary help with these people and so in many parts of the world crafting a hundred was no big deal you know people were very vigorous so in any case I started this nutritional Therapy Association and and by then I was just beside myself like I really needed to break the veganism and and and I had also gone to assert conventional doctor I don’t call them traditional doctors cuz they’re not you know conventional medicine is not traditional medicine it’s not the winter conventional doctor and I got all the tests in my I think my my lipids were like way way way down my cholesterol was way down and when it whatever and I was so proud of it at the time and then the teachers were like you know you could have a stroke with numbers like that and and you need nutrition in you cuz I went out just an animated how’s your sex life not to get overly personal benefits fine and they were like really fine they’re like do you know what you need cholesterol for it if you need it for a fully functioning hormonal function including your your sex hormones like everything and and so it was there that I learned the importance of these traditional foods which had been abandoned over the course of the 20th century in favor of all of these newfangled foods which were being pushed through all of these commercials and and an advertising to our grandmas and great-grandma’s and you know so that no self-respecting woman would would bake a cake from scratch anymore you know she should get Betty Crocker cake mix and all this garbage that they were they were imposing on people and so so I started with bone broth and then I slowly started no back into having actual meat and then I’ll tell you I went through it. Where I was just craving steak remember talking my teacher and he said look have it every night because it’s not like you’re craving brownies you know you’re craving steak there’s something in that that your body is crying for other so you don’t listen to start listening to your body and this is something that few people do today is actually listen to the signs from from their body and so what dr. Weston Price did was he took 10 years in the 1930s and he went all around the world to 14 different healthy cultures and he wanted to see what they were eating and end by the way his face is starting out was he wanted to find he thought maybe vegetarianism was the way to go and and so he want with very curious to see what these people were eating and it turned out that all 14 of these cultures they all consumed some form of animal protein even if it was in Sex and they also consume a lot of animal fat in fact ten times more fat soluble vitamins have of saturated animal fat than Americans in the 1930s and so that ratio would be far higher today and so he has a dentist he was looking at their teeth because the teeth will reveal what’s going on with the rest of the bone structure within the body and for the first culture you study study was the switch in the Swiss in the lotion tell Valley of Switzerland and they lived within this mountain range and they could get in and out but that’s where they lived and by the way tuberculosis was ravaging Europe at the time including Switzerland and people would leave that that community and go into Zurich and whatnot they return back having been exposed in single person contracted TB and he had to really search before he found anything even close to what could be a cavity the children with this was an early spring they were playing Barefoot with short sleeves in icy cold streams like they were vigorously healthy and their diet consisted of raw raw cream Robert and beautiful leavened sourdough bread which meant it’s bread that had been fermented overtime so it’s very digestible of course they would have some lamb beef and then vegetables you know in the summer when they could get them in fairies and what not and they were just incredible Health in fact they had a sleep from that Valley who would compete in these big big olympic-style competitions and those guys would always win nowadays they have athlete’s carbo load but back then those athletes would load up on Raw cream and so they were just an impeccable health and not only that they were happy and then he went to the gaels on the Isle of Lewis and and that was they were seafaring and there you know their life was rough I mean and they could cook the only thing they could grow with oats and anyway those people were in vigorous health and they consumed a lot of fish and cod liver oil and oatcakes and what not and then he went to the Philippines and he went to all these other cultures these beautiful people and they took photographs and he sent samples of their food back home to the laboratory to be tested so he wrote home extraordinary book called nutrition and physical degeneration and you can see for yourself and beautiful jaw structure of these people the beautiful teeth and a happiness on their face this is something that really he was not expecting was how incredibly happy these people were and he would ask them if they had any problems with their their adolescents in and they just looked at him like he had to have it out like no they didn’t have those issues now something he noticed noticed was this was a time when Bridges and roads were being built and so people would leave their trishul communities and I would enter quote-unquote civilized civilized World eating the foods of modern civilization and then they would have children and it would be evident in the Next Generation and those children would have the job would be narrow so couldn’t accommodate the teeth and so and though what he did see also is when when certain people would then return to their communities if they had some kind of illness they were able to turn it around through adopting once again their traditional food so that’s actually very good news for us because the body is Earth is a body you know we we have a body that it’s the whole thing as a metaphor for for the Earth and our gut microbiome is like the soil of our Earth and it it needs to be teeming with really healthy bacteria so so yeah so so I really I I I so admire doctor price and and Back N D I thought maybe it was the eighties a woman named Sally Fallon discovered his work and eventually she put together the Weston A price foundation and I have Met Sally Fallon a number of times I’ve had dinner with her she is a true Elder she is a wise woman and she she put together a book called nourishing traditions and this book has its it’s a compilation of all of these traditional recipes it’s an amazing book and do you know what she could not get a publisher no publisher would touch it with you do my own little publishing firm and I’ll do it that way and she did and I got her book has sold well over a million maybe it’s a million-and-a-half coffees at this point and now of course you know they’re willing her and they want to publish your book and she was like nothing and Associates really put yourself out there to put the word out because also what traditional communities the world over paid great attention to in addition to these wonderful foods that were passed down was it was very important when a couple came together before they got pregnant that they had certain foods and then certainly when the woman was pregnant there were certain foods that she was to eat in fact I think it was in the Philippines there was a tribe and Wendy women when a woman became pregnant there were two men assigned to her and their whole job was to get and their boat and go to a certain area where they would fish for certain kind of fish and dr. I sent that back and it was it’s it’s very high in fat very very high in in in fact and end so that you know made for a very healthy developing fetus and ultimately very healthy baby and then and then of course you know they breastfed and there were important foods that were fed to the baby including cod liver oil which a lot of this stuff just you know it when we had World War II came about a lot of our newfangled Foods were developed by the military during World War II and then put out to the public afterwards and at the you know they’re just as we know Peter garbage and and then people stop giving their children cod liver oil my mom I called liver she said all cod liver oil all the way up till she went to college and and so it was easy quite common So I myself I’ll tell you like cuz I see that it’s a commercial world and essentially it’s an it’s a it’s an overlay on top of the Living World of Nature and traditions that have served Earth people for Millennia until all of a sudden they’re told note you want to have this this is better for you and you don’t want to have that and so I look too I look too tradition I look to the Ancients I and I call these Foods grandmother wisdom foods and end and one thing that price discovered was bio individuality in other words what works for my people is not going to necessarily work for someone in the Philippines you know that they consume a lot of fish and tropical fruits in the vegetable in a look at the different diet and other words and and so this is something to pay attention to so whatever your cultural heritage is I recommend taking a good hard look at go back a few generations and then see what were your people traditionally eating and chances are those foods will serve you very well will something else that people consumed every day all around the world in all various forms were ferments so Refrigeration is very new and it’s a great convenience but it’s it’s hampered our health because back then in order to preserve food you had to fermented and so of course you know you had the the krauts all manner of different fermented vegetables will be back in the day you had need which was fermented you a tale which was fermented people drank a lot of fermented Beverages and and they would spy cam with different medicinal herbs and and then okay the fermented vegetables cultured Dairy you know these people who say oh you know dairy cows are know whatever milk is for baby cows people their cultures including my own you know who kept cows they kept sheep and goats or camels were milk you know milk is very very ancient and something that I drink now and I turn all my retreat clients on cuz I think it is probably the one of the most healing foods known is raw milk kefir and that hails from the Caucasus region of Russia and the kefir grains are probiotic there a mix of probiotics and beneficial yeast no one knows how they came to be the people of the caucus regions call them a gift from Allah and they would put those in cows milk or goat’s milk and they would be in a leather bag and and and and they would you know give it a shake and and and drink that in the grain speed off the sugars in the milk and then they key for the milk so it’s like a kind of liquidity yogurt it is fantastic for you in fact yogurt itself will have five or six different bacterial strains in it great stuff homemade kefir will have 50 to 60 different bacterial strain so we’re talkin you know trillions are billions of of of of bacteria and are beneficial that is amazing for your God and the Caucasian people were drinking kefir for over twelve hundred years and they are still drinking it today so again you know I’m so stoked hearing you say this in in something else it’s just it’s hitting me right now is that all of this very almost alchemical food science and artisanship was going on far before the invention of the microscope and before the micro-biology revolution in science and so in all of your studies if you don’t mind me kind of going on a sidebar here I just would love to know what you feel like it’s a good night you know and I have any Amazon the people that iOS Cairo shamans cure and arrows will say that the plants told them which plants to put together to make this concoction and there was a who is it was a transmission of Knowledge from the forest itself to help the people and I’m wondering if you could what do you think the epistemology is of this elaborate micro black biological science way before science even invented the microscope to even know right I mean there was still so this is kind of a figure this out where did this come from was it observation of animals or was it just naturally it tasted better cuz certain things were a little busier if you left them out a while if he well it was a course they observed animals and that would tell them you know what what fruits were and in vegetables went out where poisonous what were edible and also they would watch sick animals and what did the sick animals gravitate to herbs and that kind of thing so they learned a lot from observation and and then yeah and then he just things were passed down and down and down and God knows where they originated from but but but we have to remember is he never made you think that the Ancients were so backwards you know and and in fact the ancient Celts her are portrayed as you know practically caveman and yet the Neolithic people creative these extraordinary Stone circles that that were places at like they were Master astronomers you know they and they knew how to store wet when and where the eclipse Sun would be in in relative to assert how they position with stones and in these people were they were they were brilliant they were brilliant they were fully dialed in they were fully connected to the cycles of nature you know where we are I really don’t think we have this will be a very whatever it will be but I just I don’t think we’ve necessarily come that far because we’ve sacrificed so much wisdom and look at the state the deplorable State on our planet now with the pollution and the just egregious suffering of humanity and the animal kingdom everything on so so so many levels and so you know we really things went horribly wrong I think with when the whole Scientific Revolution came about so that when that happened so many ancient wisdoms were just simply dismissed in favor of this whole new way this whole is rational mindset and and and I’m all about logic and reason don’t get me wrong cuz I don’t see enough of that playing out today but this word hyper rationalism and Andrea Lee you know this is just what do you call it it’s like they’ve just dismissed God altogether God got us whatever that is sourced Creator right and and and we have done this at our Peril and ultimately I see nature and we are nature as the brass the expression of the master architect which has a hold of god goddess for Hurst annaho and head that lives in every living thing and and nature has provided us with everything we need to grow the way we’re supposed to develop the way we’re supposed to develop you know our bone structure everything our hair our health and and you know how to be happy and any other thing to you know I’ll say real quick when Christ was noticing the narrowing of the Jaws you’ll see that a lot nowadays and no one thinks twice about oh yeah I had to get braces or my kids had to get braces and what they don’t realize is that nutritional deficiency so that the jaw itself was not able to develop properly to accommodate all those teeth which is what’s to do and the same with you no hips we see you know she’s narrowing of the hips and in women having a lot of trouble and childbirth will also I mean look at the fertility rates have gone way down and there’s a lot of factors there and you and I can talk for 5 hours on all of that but we’re going to just focus on the food right now and end and also the state of depression and anxiety it’s just a roof and so my retreat client I just recently worked with I I mean a number of people come to me and they’re dealing with anxiety and depression and and these are people who are now I would call them Progressive in that they either have just recently got off those those damn antidepressant antianxiety square or their weaning themselves off you know and I explained to them look we have to heal your gut because there’s a neural Highway between the gut brain and when it got is corrupted in all of our guts or corruption and the guy becomes corrupted the microbiome becomes corrupted through all the sugar and the antibiotics right and then of course the stress and all of that and then just a bad food and and most people are not eating any kind of fermented food you know and so there’s nothing feeding the gut microbiome so healthy gut bacteria is roughly like 80% beneficial bacteria to 20% we’ll just call it bad bacteria it right for all intents and purposes and so as soon as it gets out of balance be bad bacteria is opportunistic and so it just floods the area and it starts to wreak havoc and then interesting ly it takes the good back or the beneficial bacteria longer to kind of come back then the bad bacteria and I just think of that Axiom of alchemy as within so without I look at our world so somehow you know things got out of balance somehow and and these opportunist who are I mean I just see our entire world leader all of them as a crime syndicate you know they’ve taken over entirely you know and and and so and so and so the more people become healthy it’s going to benefit the the Consciousness is going to benefit our mind are the ability to you no feel stable and to reason and smoke with you no Solutions rather than being in this constant state of stress and fear and anxiety you know which so many people are but in any case so this person who came last week was dealing with grief from the loss of a parent the death of the parent and also you know crippling anxiety and depression and gone off those meds finally power to this person and and so I turned them on to all of this food and I turn them on to the gaps protocol Gap stands for gut and psychology syndrome and that was developed by a Russian neurosurgeon named dr. Natasha Campbell McBride and I think of her as just a Russian Shaman s she is one of my heroes and Annie Oakley runs the women’s Visionary Congress once said if you want to change the world throw a better party and I love okay dr. Natasha Campbell McBride is a perfect example that she’s throwing a better party so what happen to her if she move to the UK and one of her young son’s got vaccinated and develop autism and so she knew. Vaccine with the Catalyst but she asked the question why though do you know more and more these days babies develop autism after these vaccines the others jumped what’s really going on and she said she exhausted her profession should named we have nothing to offer these children and of course she’s right and then she started exploring the gut cuz she’s a neurosurgeon the gut-brain connection and she thought you know the food is changed so much and in Russia we Libras and you know bostick’s kind of thing and she she started researching out and she started changing her young Sons diet so she took out the white flower and get whatever he was eating and she put him on bra because the college in the gelatin in the bra will will heal the gut lining the gut lining is very similar to the skin and so healing that and then introducing these ferments very slowly and she healed his gut it’s much easier when they’re younger the younger you know he gets them the better and by God kiss cured of autism and so then she started sharing this with her patients and so you can imagine all these people flocking to her and then what she did also find it that many families would adopt the protocol to support the child and then started realizing that the symptoms from different autoimmune disorders were disappearing altogether because they were healing their guts and and so then she wrote a book called out and psychology syndrome and then there is a wonderful book that I have my clients to who I feel really could use this by off and give it to them called the heal your gut Cookbook by Hilary Boynton and I love that book dr. McBride wrote the forward for that and then it’s got beautiful glossy color photos and it goes step by step by step here’s what you can eat here here’s some you know he was some recipes you know to do this it just makes it so easy to do and and so I have worked with a number of people who I put on this protocol and they have thrived I mean they’ve turned around things amazing I work for the woman I still work with her I’ve been working there for 2 years now she had rheumatoid arthritis for 27 years she contracted it when she was 18 or developed dementia and so she tried absolutely everything I unfortunately did the conventional medical Roots a lot of drugs and I said look let’s just chill your. You know that’s all I care about and after 6 weeks she started with the introductory diet which is the most restrictive and it’s restricted because you’re essentially taking your gut and it’s like a damaged little baby and you’re just saying alright we’re going to go really easy on you this would be really easy to digest because what you’re doing is you’re giving your gut the opportunity to heal and nature can bounce back she can bounce back from really anything but she needs the opportunity to heal right to get to stop washing her with all the poisons and after 6 weeks she contacted me and she said okay you just need to know that my pain and swelling of gone from a 12 out of 10 to a two and and she’s one of these people who will follow to the letter and a few months after that she was playing tennis and she won a tennis tournament and and so and then her skin was beautiful she’s like it’s ridiculous on some pericing like everyone’s like what do you put on your skin and she is like it’s not what I put on my yes she is she swears by this and and I mean I have more stories like that and I won’t go into all of them but I have seen this first hand and so you know that’s why I’m like I’m not interested in what the you know whatever the media has to say I’m sure as hell not interested in what the Hino conventional medicine has to say because those guys have zero understanding of nutrition and then the conventionally train nutritionist have been trained in schools that were funded by these major multinational corporations that want them you know selling all the stuff and if you go on these websites like the American Heart Association and American diabetic Association and you see the food they’re recommending it takes my breath away it’s so disgusting it’s just deplorable so so that’s why I look to the traditional to be anxious cuz they they weren’t trying to sell you anything that’s just how they ate I’ve been under on the Divine masculine side of my personal development I’ve been getting very deep into the survivalist movement and there is powerful thought leaders in that movement that are a really promoting and in a positive and empowered way the ketogenic and paleo certain parameters and Primal parameters on diet and a lot of interesting insights her or coming up from that and if I could I’ll just share a few things that you can bend riff off of the kind of I’ll bring it in a little bit personal for me for a moment and say that I’m probably maybe I can see exactly what the hell with it the start date was but I I had to I do landscaping and I’m in the LA climate and I guess it was I guess it was last summer so I guess about six months now where I finally had my hitting bottom with with to my wish is a diet with too much sugar when I wasn’t I was thinking I was doing mostly organic and mostly is doing trail mix and dry food sand and felt that my sugar sources were cleaner and then than most and certainly avoiding processed foods however it was a lot of dehydrated raisins and banana chips and things where he was super concentrating the sugars and really just continually antagonizing my gut and continually in flaming me and and also causing just like almost it’s just super charging super powering that that psychological element that anxiety and the PTSD I felt like it was it was just so bloated with the energy that was coming from too many sugars coming into my system and it really manifested on the surface of like fungus growing on my hands and my feet cuz I was working in the Sun and working in boots and gloves and it was just like it was all over my hands and my feet I had to continue working cuz I didn’t I couldn’t just quit my job I did take a couple weeks off but that wasn’t enough so I had to just work without gloves and bitterly work without shoes so how is the monkey Garden there for a few weeks there until like they started to dry up and and miraculously I was I was at that time dating a woman who had some extra money and she was about to go on this total sugar Purge diet and and I was of course trying to impress her you know us as I can I’ll join you let’s do this then hi and lo and behold the greatest gift is meeting her was that I stuck with it and and I stopped eating the dried fruits and I started to move just Stevia and no forms of Sugar Bay sweeteners and then now it’s a you know about six months later and and and the most most done chilling and invigorating effect has been really seeing this deflation of neurotic tendencies that the thought forms that would be causing anxiety or I mean I don’t consider myself to be depressed but certainly it’s like the thought forms have to feed on you like parasites and they’re not just feeding on some amorphous energetic kind of Wu thing they’re actually I’m realizing they’re feeding on the sugar that you’re that you’re pumping into your mouth and so if I I came up with this tweet I put it on Twitter do you know not too long ago I said what’s worse demonizing sugar or sugar raising demons and still I love to hear what you think about that notion there well the thing is you know we we’ve had sugar before white cane sugar and that was in the form of Honey another words Nature has provided that for us not that you overdo the honey but raw honey is teeming with enzymes and it’s a medicinal as well and and so that’s the sweetener that I I like and I also I also like real maple syrup and and I’ll have that once a week when I retrieve clients cuz I always make one of the breakfast is sourdough pancakes with with real maple syrup they also put a Big Blob of gorgeous yogurt on top of that whole milk yogurt so the what is the beneficial bacteria before the sugar goes and feeds all the negative ones is that in my understanding that when I would make my young girls breakfast for they go to school by the way I wish I’d homeschooled I didn’t know that back then but anyway I would never gave him breakfast cereal and pasteurized milk and all that crap I would always make them eggs and toast with lots of butter or I do in a french toast which is dipped in the egg and then and then I would put whipped cream on that but like homemade whipped cream it was no sweetener or just below the Nilla anyway so they always had this wonderful breakfast that had a good amount protein and fat and carbohydrate right so so that they could the fat would calm them and they could think through the day and and what’s happening with these children is there eating these breakfast made of of sugar like just like when you were sharing all those dried fruit that you reading in the trail mix and the Granola it’s all sugar and so that it turns to sugar in the body and these children are not getting nutrient-dense Foods in the morning and then and then they get to school there climbing the walls and of course they can also what could be more unnatural than you know signing a child to us you know Ed Sheeran add a task in a square room indoors for 7 hours to know and then they and then they complain when especially the young boys just want to jump around and have a good time and you know like they belong outside in the fields freebasing sucrose and being forced to in a straitjacket of these people in the schools and they’re pressuring the parents to drug their children which is so beyond immoral and first of all and an even these days psychiatrist and psychotherapist you are also handing these drugs out like their candy and by the way no one’s done any brain scans now that it’s just based on an opinion and since when do teachers since when do they have that kind of knowledge to be able to determine you know that you are 7 year old needs a brain damage and ultimately drug you know like it’s just it’s it’s astonishing when really ultimately these kids are nutritionally they’re just starve nutritionally and and it makes a big difference when you feed them these these these Foods is nutritionally dense foods and raw milk especially and you see me you spoke of eczema that’s so common with these children because also pasteurized milk has been number 1 allergen that’s because pasteurized milk is not milk it Amin chemically it’s not and in so it’s a very difficult to digest it is not the same as as your raw milk from obviously obviously healthy cows raised on pasture and by the way cows raised on pasture enough for a farmer who’s producing raw milk or health either outside a good at healthy cow live 26 27 years a commercial dairy cow will live maybe 5 and and I will say also as someone who is attritional food person I am very careful where I Source my meet my favorite favorite place in the whole world is the farmers market I love going to the farmers market I know my Farmers by name I know where meat comes from I’ve been to two of the Farms where it’s produced I’ve seen those animals out on pasture where they belong you know how they’re slaughtered in this is all done on the up-and-up commercial farming is not farming it is it is a factory and it is deplorable and you know it’s interesting because Karl Marx was the first one to reduce animals from this place of you know just really the sacred how they were taken care of down to he called them units of measure and I will say for those out there who think whatever collectivism communism whatever is such a great saying it is a machine culture you are a cog in the wheel there is no room for the individual so it’s that’s very much in a box and and I just thought that I did not know that and and I thought that was very poignant units of measure that that’s disgusting so if machine culture ultimately were enough machine or a factory culture and this is why people are not thriving and cuz this is not how we’re supposed to let we’re not meant to be corporate wage slaves and commute up to 2 hours you know sometimes each wet I mean like it’s amazing you know no time spent in nature anymore or with each other really yeah you know I actually did like but what that brings to mind for me is going back years to Anthropologie my anthropology track in college it was there was a an essay believe I’m maybe I maybe forgetting the name but I think it was one of the one of the the highly respected sort of catalyst for her primitivism I think was Marvin Harrison or one of the other kind of groundbreaking Folks at the time they were saying help with a concept that called Energy Gates and looking at the thesaurus stages of patriarchal Empires and how and Jared Diamond do the same kind of similar analysis about how granaries is what facilitated conquest and the coaches that did not have that had you know tropical spoiling fruits and vegetables that could not be stored for indefinitely if it was toward right you know the show is so good that the culturing of these domestic cats and their ability to feed armies and marching armies off of his dried wheat berries and he’s dried grains that was really what what time do or what we’re living in and obviously the legacy of the conquest of those who figured out how to make these these calorie pellets that were that wouldn’t spoil and and they would be able to ferment them and make beer and so the contaminated water they could drink beer and have less deaths from water contamination cuz it was more. If you will at that point those to fix this warrant about the machine this goes back thousands of years to the the war machines and we’re still living in that Legacy in the Cheerios go in and the soy milk go in one in and the diaper rashes out the other end what do you say to that 95% maybe it’s 98% of the soil all the so I produced is GMO but still he also was never ever meant to be Eaton ingested in the way it is I mean it’s an absolutely everything be quiet cuz it’s a very cheap filler and see if they can seduce as soon as thinking it’s this health healthy alternative to milk or whatever then people will buy it cuz they’ll just believe it but in Asian countries so it was fermented so she could leave made into Tempe and soy sauce tamari. Could that kind of thing but but tofu itself was you know you’d have it in small amounts but it’s an absolute everything as is corn and so and end their there they’re cheap fillers and they are marketed as being healthy and so yeah I mean it and also so I contain is it it’s a goitrogen so it affects the thyroid negatively also I believe phytoestrogens as well so too much soy and John is not necessary no it’s not good for our boys so it’s not it’s not healthy it’s not something I would give to my children and and then you have to watch the almond milk because the Almond industry in this happened a number of years ago now they are spraying all of these almonds in California with a few against that has been banned in in Canada and Europe but for some reason it seems to be perfectly acceptable for all of us here and so all that almonds milk that you are these people are drinking is not necessarily so healthy either because I mean this is just a lot of stuff is dangerous that they spray the stuff with you know how food is more clients Works in health food store and she said oh my God Shana shouldn’t I look around everything’s in a box you know and shipped all over from hell and gone by the way and you know a lot of it is just it’s just marketing it just marketing and so I I just for anyone who this resonates with I I say eat as close to the farm as possible and if you can’t grow your food and go to the farmers market if you can get to a farmers market you don’t remember I spoke at a conference in Milwaukee and too windy was there he is an amazing Elder and he talks a lot about mushrooms he does very high dose mushrooms but he was talking about he lives in Detroit and that there is an extraordinary group of people there where he said you know what we do with empty lots in Rich Roy and Detroit kill them so there’s this whole Urban farming Community it’s cropping up and I know it’s in you know Detroit and other areas as well for people aren’t like inner cities are growing food this is the thing you know I think we can have heaven on Earth I really think we are in the garden with a beast or parasite in the guard him right now but we are in the garden and there is opportunity everywhere truly for like turning lemons into lemonade essentially and and you know even just growing herbs in pots like just whatever you can do and and also if you have a garden and but it’s small and he can actually grow food and put native flowers in there because the pollinators need that like you’re so so much we can do to support the Earth and and and you know support ourselves with with good food the farmers markets are fantastic just fantastic mean I I love I love knowing my Farmers be great to get into just some very simple practical steps I know one thing that resonates with me is that the notion that you should if you are if you are going to go to the supermarket shop on the outer ring of the store and you should be allowed to everything on the Isles but you know there’s the the produce the dairy the fish the meat and and that’s all the disorder refrigerated in and refresh sort of stock of the outer ring of all the supermarkets by Design and then anything on those not I guess not everything because there are oils and there are there are fermented pickles and whatnot of course crowds that are that are in the center aisles but but do you want to talk about some yes and more practical steps if you can take and maybe one of the things that for four people who have newborn babies who are not going to be able to just go to this extreme keto paleo thing this excerpt a macho is a lot of machismo in that world too and I haven’t heard these Macho men talk about feeding babies a keto paleo diet or I don’t know how you would translate into that or how you would recommend you Sally Fallon let me find it here she wrote a book on foods for baby and child like nourishing foods okay I’m just going on Amazon I’m just going to find it the title of this book is book of baby and child care for babies that need formula I mean God with the stuff in the supermarket is is just it’s it’s immoral but there is a recipe for doing a proper you know baby formula if you can’t breastfeed or in addition to Farina when you’re done breastfeeding I mean she’s just got out of everything but it’s all based on traditional principles and and I’d love that she did that because especially new mothers their moms don’t necessarily know any of this and it’s not their fault they just weren’t taught you know and and so they don’t really know where to to look and so this is a really really wonderful resource for for that and then if you can find your way to raw milk for your children this is so so important because it will ensure that your child develops a healthy gut and that means they will be are they will they will not be sick as often as everyone else’s kids and you know there could be stronger they will develop really beautiful teeth and a good jawline you know you you could you could eradicate the need to Anjali to for your child to have braces and it also affects their behavior and their ability to sleep at night I mean there’s so many factors you are what you eat and Epocrates said let food be thy medicine and eye medicine you guys food and you mentioned oils for the supermarket and I will just say be very very careful what you cook your food and so canola oil is a no-go it’s garbage it’s rapeseed even if they called her dad I just watch out for organic because you know the USDA is kind taking that over and I mean Monsanto wants to grow stuff and call it organic for god sakes so just you know and I found like at the farmers market there are some wonderful farmers who they say they don’t have the Organic certification it’s very expensive but they don’t pray at all and yeah yeah well and I love those biodynamic and that’s following the tentative Rudolf Steiner biodynamics. Applying homeopathic remedies since way to the soil to call back the life force in the land and it’s similar to permaculture I mean they really go hand-in-hand nicely he know where the farm is thought of as a single organism and everything’s made on the farm and and I are very much loved the biodynamic way but the good fats to cook with I get lard from the farmers market and then I take it home and I render it myself which means you heat it up in a pan until it melts in and I poured into a glass jar and it turns a beautiful white color and that is again I am Scottish Irish and my people 8 May 8th Pig pay 8 lab band and all of that and so the fat was priced there’s an old expression living off the fat of the land that was good and and so I cook with that because it’s very stable at high temperatures whereas these vegetable oils cannot handle the super high temperatures and so then they’ll basically turn to plastic in your arteries so you’re the good fats are important chicken broth I’ll do like a big 20 quart stock pot of chicken broth and then I put the quart-size mason jars in the freezer and then I’ll make a soup and it’s super simple one of my favorites is Carrot leaking so I just chop everything the carrots and leeks and saute them in coconut oil and then I put them in a pot I put a can of coconut milk in there and then two quarts of my chicken broth and cook it up it’s so delicious it’s rustic I mean I think of this is it’s like rustic peasant food and it’s so simple but the ingredients are beautiful cuz they’re locally-sourced even better again if you got a garden III I can’t grow them in the garden yet you know there’s another something else. Love to hear your thoughts on is it a point was brought up somewhere recently in my digestive podcast and what not and it was just that it’s often overlooked that weird sort of gear now even even meat eaters Among Us are geared to the muscle meat of an animal whereas a traditional diet and not just the sort of stereotypical Native American using every part of the Buffalo or whatever it’s really that the organ meats and all of the other parts of an animal body that would have contained different densities of nutrients have different fat content that were that’s probably the the the bone broth argument is that it’s it’s you’re getting more of those not just the choice cuts of meat however we had that’s not really holistic either right just eating only the muscle Meats ulcer doctor price discovered it is these cultures realized the organ Meats particularly the liver and I used to be anemic and so after I joined the ntai I would get Frozen liver and this is from Skagit River Ranch which is in the state of Washington and they’re amazing and so you know these are healthy cow go get Frozen liver and believe it or not I took me months to sort of get brace myself to do this now I do it no problem I would great the Frozen liver and a great like a tablespoon or two and I put it in a glass and I would put some just tomato veggie juice and they’re just whatever from the store right and then I would just down at I just swallow it and and so because also a lot of these most of these supplements people take your lucky if you get 30 maybe 40% of whatever supposed to be in that supplement and I don’t take supplements except for magnesium and I take a liquid magnesium called remag by dr. Carolyn Dean and that’s because our soils used to be teaming with magnesium and it is in charge of over 800 enzymatic processes within the body I mean Weed Day but we need magnesium and most people are very low on it so I do take liquid magnesium but then the rest of it comes from my my food and so I drank that liver drink like three times a week I did at 4. Months and my anemia is gone all gone so in other words you know that you could take a liver supplement whatever or whoever itself and and it goes and it does it’s it’s magic and it’s raw liver so yeah I mean that were made special ties with the with the organism and disses disses ancient old and then also the fat on the meat is prized and of course it makes food taste better let me ask you this the one of the things from my permaculture studies that is to me the most effective sort of psychic Aikido I don’t have a weapon but but tool for working with the the Burberry the barbarism of some of these ideologies that have been of sprung up and in and really it’s it’s a it’s like when I think about that the fact that you can go out onto a landscape and good luck trying to synthesize proteins and fats by chewing on shrubs and tree branches and grass but if you employee the ruminants and the goats and you know you got this leverage point that is these animals that are designed to just Chomp down Woody material and grassy material and put it through multiple stomachs even and then and then produce the U of these products and it seems to me that the ecological ethics of you know I mean for me I boil it down to create more life and you destroy and your golden so be like about an emic Gardener or permaculture Gardner and integrate all of the levels of the ecosystem and create beautiful habitat where they they don’t even really know that they’re being farmed in oh that’s possible with some of these techniques and and just to to frame it and in terms of the efficiency gains in in working in partnership with with these other animal allies and if we can give them beautiful good lives and not put them in cages and dope him up and drag them up then maybe we can sort of have a little bit of fun Breathing Room you know you’re glad to be speaking what are you what do you think about that my heroes are the farmers like the real farmers and you made me think of Joel salatin who was made pretty famous by Michael Pollan book The Omnivore’s Dilemma angels to Latin calls himself grass farmer said it’s all about the grass and so he raises cattle and chickens and so he said I just follow nature and so the ruminants go out there and they eat the grasses and then then he moves them to a different field he waits a couple of days so that all the little eggs that are in the manure start to hatch then he lets his chickens he brings his chicken it’s into that field and they go crazy and I scratched the cow pies and get that all mixed into the the grass may eat a little buggies and so they produced these extraordinary eggs and and you know so he is he’s really he’s in this beautiful Harmony with the land and he also he produces so much on his farm and he will not ship it long distance he refuses to do to do that which I also really like so yeah he was a great that grow so much beautiful stuff from him I saw Ted Talk and he’s he’s growing him to like doing these he’s he’s he’s trying to stay in body and in as I can use the theatrical performance of different different creatures in the soil biology and it’s it’s just I love I love him to death he’s so great and I remember him saying one time or somewhere I heard about it’s like he actually has to proactively raise the fence posts the fence posts around the property because he’s building soil that’s just growing in height and as long as he’s actually doing like millions of years worth of soil production with this rotational grazing. Yeah Berean of the carbon whatever in the factory farms absolutely there an aberration but these traditional farmers who are the following the older ways they’re doing a good job you know I mean they’re stewarding the land as it should be certain they are this is proper animal husbandry because like it or not I mean we have been consuming animals for very very very long time you know I mean it’s kept us very strong and but but you know if it did the whole Commercial Way of raising these animals to me is is it to me I think it will be a stain on on our culture for a long time to come and and you can tell a lot about what you know of culture by how they treat their animals and it’s not just American culture either you know this is yeah we’re getting at work we’ve covered a lot of thank you so much this really it it has satisfied my desire to get some some really important groundwork laid for the listeners of this podcast in to sort if I’ve been hesitant to sort of Explorer and break down some of these these myths and taboos around. I don’t want to alienate anybody who is very committed to any specific no Animal product diet but I think we all need to just continue the dialogue and something that I would like to I guess a final thought I’d like to to give you some more whatever time you have left to get to talk about it said as I guess I have been rehabilitating myself from nutting as I always say you a sugar and carb obviously like a sort of subconscious addiction and just to serve the ubiquity of it is it’s it’s really starts at 2 to audit the the sugar intake that is not from Whole Living fresh fruits you know mostly the and you look at you start to audit that it’s really it’s for me it’s been it’s been absolutely mortifying and I really feel like we’re in a zombie apocalypse we’re like maybe 90% of the the personality disorder is in a relationship conflict conflict and that just the antagonist in education is cause and I’m seeing it I’m seeing myself Google and dumb just like I’m in this Buddha nature zone now that I’m post extraneous sugar and I’m going to be able to see how people who were just just being pie in and out of of Starbucks drive-thrus they’re going to they’re going into the road rage and they’re going into the office they’re going into like every interaction is so cranked up on this crystal meth sugar caffeine is in the danishes in the muffins and it’s just like you burn it down in a in a Bunsen burner and you just got this free base of Crystal and sugar this whole thing and just like the I am just the other day I was I guess I will be I was being socially open to sugary Foods you know to be to be nice but you know in public and that and it was like okay here’s pizza and ice cream and literally within an hour I felt like I had just drink battery acid I could feel the contrast of like what is going on they send people called a good, because they just ate a you know a brick of carbs and and it’s really you know once you have that contrast it’s a real it’s really it’s a really deep things I don’t know if you have any final thoughts to share about just like a words of words of wisdom about your motive like what what could you say to motivate people to really really look at labels and really question and and understand that it may not say sugar in a may not look like sugar or even taste like sugar but you could be having the most Savory meal and have that sugar be the second ingredient on every sauce out of whatever so how do we close a case on sugar here I know well that’s something I thought was just really great she was saying just like everything you spoke to she said really this is about survival of the wisest so only the wisest are going to survive and I just made the people who are really proactive about you know pudding good nutrient dense foods in their body and staying away from all of that garbage and and I will say that the fermented foods especially like the sauerkraut they start when you start eating fermented foods beet kvass which is fermented beet juice a drink that every morning it’s changes your taste buds so that’s something to consider and also there is a flavor that we no one takes in anymore and that’s bitter so there’s something called Swedish Bitters and and nose would be taken as a digestive Aid before eating and any just take a little bit like in water but it will Swedish bitters with curb your sugar cravings and they will also, you know an upset stomach nausea gas bloating all of that they are bitters are amazing for the digestive system in for the production of hydrochloric acid and no balance your appetite and they will maintain healthy blood sugar levels so Swedish bitters are a great thing to include and also when my retreat clients, we don’t have any sugar being higher week but the food is so satisfying why cuz there’s a lot of good saturated fat in there and so the raw milk kefir is its dreamy creamy so incredibly delicious and I just put a little bit of vanilla in there and it’s so satisfying and there’s something like a comfort food and then the breakfast I make is my leavened sourdough bread that I make toasted slathered with butter beautiful butter kerrygold front of or I get raw butter from an Amish farmer and then I near it with avocado and then I’ll put three or four fried eggs that were stopped by and large and then a huge dollop of sauerkraut and the flavor combination is so amazing everybody freaks on that and I explain to people look you know you have a breakfast like that and then you drive to the office and then everyone’s over at the coffee klatch and they brought in all their chemical cookies and their shite donuts and stuff you’re going to be like oh my God I can’t put anything my stomach I’m not hungry and then you know I have the gorgeous suit that I make in town is so satisfying and then yes it was so when you’re eating is nutrient dense foods your body is satisfied because what do they say we have a country for obese people who are you know their bodies are starving their bodies are starving some nourishment and then people will go in this low-fat no-fat by you know 9 p.m. they’re climbing the walls and it’s thrown open every cabinet door in their kitchen to seeking something cuz their body is Jonesing food I’m telling you will do wonders for your sugar Cravings it’s really really something and yeah I mean to be so addicted to sugar I love sugar and and I would have liked a like I would always get really beautiful chocolate and I would have a stash somewhere and I’ll tell you like I finally went off at completely a year ago when I did a mushroom journey and it was a big journey and I had all these different you know these beautiful beings I just lie in the darkness with my recorder and I Channel and it’s all poetry and one of the things they said was oh and awful sugar their daughter you must be aware another evil we won’t so healthy bodies we do grow and so and so and they haven’t steered me wrong yet it’s back to give me a pack of Lee for almost eight years fine I won’t touch it and I haven’t said yeah that is that is the the most of those the gym I think of this whole this whole episode was what you just shared right there and so yes thank you so much for that and when can we look forward to the Shona home YouTube cooking show and so if you want to learn more about you know how to make raw milk kefir go on YouTube. Just type it if you want to learn how to make beats come up type it into YouTube or sauerkraut there’s so many amazing people out there who had these done these videos of themselves and they’re giving all this great information and it’s free it’s pretty great yeah well hopefully yeah hopefully the is that something you thought about or would you consider doing something like that even if it was just your own program on your own website or something I don’t know I’m also I’m putting together everything now to launch my school which I will launch in April and the school will begin in May of 2020 and it’s just for women right now only because it’s going to be eight women who will travel to my farm four times out of the year and they’ll stay there and I would love to do it for men and women but I just don’t have sort of this be sleeping accommodations quite quite together yet so we’ll start with women and it’s called Daughters of the fairy tree and end so all the traditional food knowledge will be taught and foundational herbalism as well as you know seership Divinity of dousing all kinds of things like that and coupled with I’m going to teach the Trivium and logical fallacies and foundational contract maxims of law because that’s very important as well because people don’t know that so they don’t even know you know they get caught in the arguments that we see playing out and are disgusting media and if people knew wouldn’t ad hominem is you know or an appeal to emotion and they just wouldn’t even entertain those arguments cuz you know there’s there’s no reason to involve there’s no logic involved there just High emotion to get everyone’s knickers in a Twist so yeah and you know I should say real quick before we finish talking about your listeners know I just wanted to say real quickly there I love the herbs and I do herbal infusions daily and there’s an earth called oat straw and it has it’s an old medicinal and there were some studies done there’s a wonderful website it’s called I just just Googled Medical herbalist medical herbalist oat-straw and you’ll get hit this guy’s in Australia or New Zealand but he talks about the oats and he writes in a clinical study in 1968 1969 6 out of 10 chronic opium addicts gave up the drug after treatment with O2 mL of tincture this is oat root tincture three times a day over 27 to 45 days to of the remaining for attics reduce their intake the participants status was maintained on follow-ups 3 to 19 months later and no serious withdrawal symptoms or side effects were noted the doses to milliliters is 3 times a day of tincture made from the hole from the whole plant excluding the root excuse me excuse to this is tincture of of oats and so it’s been fantastic four people to eat to help them get off opioid addiction how many people are addicted to opioids oh hell no skullcap is also Fantastic Four people who are depressed or anxious and and so you can do a tincture with skullcap and so he writes about that as well and there was one thing I was going to share on that as well if I can find it I mean in a terrific you know we’ve got to do our own due diligence we’ve got a really start researching the Alternatives because again Nature has a cure for everything so I’ll just read this real quick isn’t on skullcap wh cook right quote in The Horde sleeplessness it arises under the effort to abstain from the habitual use of opium it is one of the most Trump and reliable agents of the whole Materia Medica by Tony and also soothing the nervous structures it secures that steadiness of action which is followed by quiet sleep and it induces no shades of narcotism neither leaves behind any excitement sensitiveness North Cane Corso its skull cap is also excellent for people endeavoring to get off opioids and it’s it’s in Irving and nervines are you know they’re really good for the nervous system so there is a whole array of choices we have really wonderful for people suffering from anxiety and also depression that will not I’ll bring the liver harmful side effects you know that the these these These are herbs and they’re safe and and so I just wanted to share that as well for anyone cuz some people suffering from that as well and there’s hope for those people you’re not going to read about it in the lamestream media awesome well thank you so much again and I would say that my final thought is that throw a better party through a better potluck and I think that’s said that’s going to be my intention moving forward and so do you want to share your website URL and any other ways to contact so folks can follow up then and get connected and my email is on on there as well Shawna. Com and our journey together will begin hello dear beloved welcome to Tantra Punk podcast episode number 96 it’s a distinguished honor I have here to be on Skype with Shana home who is one of the top mushroom priestesses is it living on Earth today and it’s been a serious hero enough mine and I deeply bow down to her we’ve been sort of parallel Journeys over the years and we did an interview discussion a few couple years back called shamanic Revolution we talked about her background so you can you can refer to that episode to get caught up on more of her life story and accomplishments M but we’re now just going to kind of roll into updates from what she’s been doing and in her you know sort of college in alchemical cauldron of spiritual intellectual development really sophisticated critique and understanding of what we’re up against and what some skills and tools some tactics we can use on the front lines of the shamanic Revolution to heal and liberate and Empower ourselves in each other and now more than ever I think our medicine is being sought out in your medicine for sure is of the highest quality so if you want to just say a few words what you been up to since we last talked and then I’m sure we’ll have lots of Defense at 2 to about what’s happening show but thank goodness I will say that I put a new book out recently called poetic Whispers from the green realm and I will definitely read some of that poetry and so there’s two chapters I wrote for that book and then there’s 50 some odd poems and so I will say that I never wrote poetry before I start working with the mushroom and I never didn’t and so a couple years after I start working with the mushroom and I think we’re now going on 5 years here poetry started coming to me and so when I started doing a little research you know to write the chapters for this book I discovered that the original poets were the shamans and that poetry NC igenex substances were directly connected to Poetic inspiration and so you know we have the editors of the Norse Traditions is lengthy poetic Mythic story and in there they speak of the Mead which is honey wine which was spiked it would be spiked with medicinal herbs that would be spiked with inebriating herbs and so it was it was said that whoever drinks from which becomes a poet or a scholar and then we have Soma art of India and that was also associated with poetic inspiration and then we have the Oracles of Delphi and DeDona and the delphic Oracle as they would whether they were breathing in the esalen gases that took them into hydrant States or they were actually drinking psychoactive Bundchen’s they would prophesy and poetic hexameter and so it is it’s a kind of meter you know like poetry is is metered know they’ll be no 3 4 lines you know and then there’s stanzas and what not and I mean it can be very intricate in intricate and how the poem is this is created and so you know some of the greatest poets where the The Bard’s from from my people that the Celts and those people studied for 15 years and nothing was written down and and then they were given the title Olam and and so these these folks were they had to memorize something like 20,000 different you know poems and and and and myths and stories and and what not and so an interesting ly something that the that I read in my research that The Bard’s would do is they would go into a very dark kind of Tavern Thai place and and then spend time there until they received poetic inspiration now that’s interesting because there is a practice that you can do to turn on the pie Neil to to turn on your own energy Mt where you stay in Pitch Darkness or you know. Of time whatever it is a few weeks if you let you know what your month or whatever it is and that will you know turn on your your DMT and so anyway I just thought it was very interesting but there is a quote goodbye Barbara tadlock PhD she wrote a book that I highly recommend called the woman in the Shaman’s body and she wrote that quote shamans are Sears oracles and Poets and their artistic language creates a healing path for their patients and and I love I love that cuz I really I realized I live in the spirit of that you know I can I have the ability to communicate I have the ability to write and now it’s results of my work with the mushroom I have the ability to essentially Channel this gorgeous poetry and end so you have come into connection I speak very candidly about this with these Spirit intelligences through my work with seat mushroom and and you know that was you know long known to shamanic people be there earlier paean people or you know the Maya were in Africa where you know you connect with no the plant teacher and or Atwell a tutelary spirit a spirit that will and intelligence that will teach you and and which comes which came first I like to ask the mushroom for the shaman right so Apprentice myself to the mushroom in those beings have been teaching me and so so yes so this just beautiful poetry has been coming force and I’m so now when I work with the mushroom I will you know just have a digital recorder with me and I speak the way I’m speaking you now but it’s totally poetry it’s the beings speaking through and everything Rhymes and it just flows and so a mutual friend of ours came to work with me something that I’m also doing now as I am doing one-on-one Retreats and it’s for 4 days and that person comes and stays in my arm and I feed them and I teach them and we go very very very deep and you know ceremony in the whole deal it sits and it is highly transformative and so this person you and I know came in August and that happened to be over the August full moon and so you know there was one night where ceremony occurred and she was good to go and for the next 2 hours I just whispered into my recorder and and it was the the elves speaking through me and so I I’m starting to speak more candidly about this because really what I see that I am is a fairy Shaman and now I am not talking about Tinkerbell and I am and I’m not talking about the Victorian gossamer Wings little you know sexy Pixies no no no no no no no no the FAE were long known to the Irish and the Scottish people and also you know the Scandinavians and and you know there are tribes in Africa who speak of nature spirits who are are very similar in resemblance to these what they are is there ancient nature intelligences and it’s the thought they were ancestral or that our ancestors you know went to the fairy Realms when they passed and in Ireland they are known as the tuatha de danaan and it’s Friday Donna and was a race of Godlike beings they were very very high magicians and they lived in Ireland for a time until the sons of Mill showed up and there was a battle and and a two-headed on and lost that battle and so they retreated below into the Mounds and and into they were in a living beneath the Earth but there was you know you could communicate with them and so so yeah so I was deeply in connection with these beings as I have been on the on the mushroom in any case then in September I went to Scotland and it was a pilgrimage for me and I save my shackles and went out there and I went to the outer Hebrides Scotland and spent time and ancient stone circles and there with no mushroom and believe I actually had the mushroom but I wasn’t able to use it when I was there I was able to procure it there but I wasn’t able to use it and I thought this is very interesting cuz I knew this was heart of a Acela learning I was receiving that deer you know you don’t have to have it you know you’ve been turned on you know cuz it does change you forever and so and they said the gates you will stand before will open and so I would stand in the circle tonight I just I take my digital recorder with me everywhere cuz I never know when this poetry is going to flow and it just absolutely flowed through me when I was there no mushroom necessary and then when I came home from Scotland I essentially brought what I was told her new mentors home with me and and I was when I would wake up in the morning as I was Awakening they were speaking to me and poetry and so I was bringing my digital recorder to bed with me so that in the morning as the poem came through I could speak it and so I will share because I think this will really speak to you and there is it’s truly beautiful and and I don’t write like this you know but the way they play with words is is quite something and the and the Poetry is deeply encoded and so up I want to read this yeah I think you will you evil quite appreciate this so I called his old Spirits speak and say this is what they said that’s exactly what they fear of that you realize what you’re made of the constructs is a sorcerer spell designed by those who know full well the power of their words of art they can initiate the start of any Trend that they designed to keep the flock they watch in line change will come when mine start opening then the dawn of what you were hoping we’ll and Sue to shift the pace this death march by the human race must be reversed that’s why we’re here deceptions Mists we pledge to clear each of you has been assigned a royal play to realign the threads that we’ve this current hell your actions here will fare quite well to shift the subtle frequencies so more spoke begin to see with inner eye to realize the tricks by those who are disguised as well-known personalities who manipulates the crowd with these lists years is a hologram and we deliver telegram that though the claws have dug in deep and though the masses are asleep eval was made far in the past that it is time we raise our Mast and sail into the stormy sea to raise our great Humanity to Heights once thought and possibly ambitious for such an undertaking yes this has been most painstaking though right now more of you waking this the time we’ve been awaiting see their fear all that surveillance see the One World dark Alliance they are under the impression they’re above divisive action which they spread among the crowd cups divided lost and proud but they cannot control each other they are going to have one mother of a vast Rift all among their Web of Lies that they have strong this tears we’ve been counting on in the meantime spread your song of what can be when hearts are strong and minds are clear to Virgil angst the many who are so confused their precious Souls have being abused and so the magic that you carry isn’t simply airy-fairy this tear has for long been crafted by the lifetimes you’ve and acted now it’s your moment all of you we will give more than a few instructions clever that he’ll use take your folk Beyond this ruse never let your good Hearts waiver in those temples lives the Saviour you awakened ones of light Illuminating this Dark Knight and Gathering wants more to cast a spell you’ve trained for that has vast effects upon this sacred place that’s home to many kinds of race now all the gateways open here’s the moment you’ve been hoping will occur on planet Earth songs were written of this birth that Springs forth from within the mind a realization of the kind that holds the course dramatically when of a sudden people see this thing’s electric think how fast when switch is flipped the light is Cass and everything you didn’t see is now before you quite clearly how many changes coming near Children of the light don’t fear but rather senior gifts with joy and with good wisdom you’ll destroy the spell that captivates the many what you carry Concord anything that they have up their sleeve you simply in your mind conceive of what you were before you came and when you realize you are the same will deers consider that in mind and ancient spell you will unbind the great wand of antiquity is buried where you cannot see where you’ve been taught to look outside and not within where it resides you are ready now to find the Holy Grail within your mind the sacred places you have been hold keys there that remain unseen unless you trained for many lives to cut through Darkness with your knives those sorts of light you hold with Grace look in the mirror at your face look in your eyes that dance there light you a warrior here to fight a battle that is ancient old and now the time stories told when Beauty beings Fair install will once again appear to all and help you dear ones at this time he’d the power of this rhyme for this is just the start of things as people of the fairy rings cast their magic spells around so once more Earthly folk can found a time of peace upon this Earth a time when you are good folk can birth the frequencies of living grace who’s energies will heal this place is so amazing so beautiful I just want to resurrect Jim Hanson to make this into a hole production or has got to be a new wave of children’s books and cartoons and action figures and dolls and roll out I’ve always felt that you were the one to be the wisdom keeper and sort of the the one that those whatever artistic needs that you would like to have a team above the crew built around you to take this type of narration and make it into every form of physical object media format whatever so that it can actually compete and as is memes that mean it’s all it’s all the way in a very detached kind of social scientific way of looking at things I mean whether you know whatever esoteric tradition you followers or not it’s really you want to have wholesome regenerative ecological you know fashion and lifestyle and everything that people just sort of consume I mean it’s just a matter of making a better option available that puts the the less sustainable or desirable options obsolete so I next thing I want to ask you is of the women and the mothers you know who were trying to design a mythology about what’s happening on Earth what do you mean you’re one of them right so I just can only imagine how difficult it would be to be taking responsibility for Parenthood with a shamanic perspective and ecological perspective if you no excetera you know how and how do you how do you translate this into into the kinds of resources and Tool kits that would be needed for new in an entirely new alternative educational system that actually has a I mean like what you could be doing the Waldorf of shamanic K through 12 you know but based on all this stuff I mean I don’t even know you know what’s out there so if that makes any sense as a question you know if this is how do we get the audience to grow for what you’re channeling okay so first of all turn off your TV throw it out I would say be very very careful with media you know there’s so much you know that I know now that I didn’t know when I first had my children right and and it is amazing to think also you know this this how much technology has taken over our lives you know since then and it’s a double-edged sword do you know on one hand you can glean a lot of great information on another thing it’s another and it’s kind of like the wild west cuz there’s a lot of garbage to sort through as well and and it can be very addictive and level up in any case you know I would have done some things very differently you know had I known back then I have two daughters 16 and 19 you know what I know now for so I would not have vaccinated them I know that’s it something if heated debate but I will say that you know he human beings have managed to live on this Earth and pretty harsh conditions you know for a very very very long time and you know with no vaccines and and as someone who knows quite a lot has researched a tremendous amount on on ancestral Foods you know our ancestors were way stronger than we are today we are pretty much a shadow at this point you know of what we used to be you know is physical strength and emotional and mental wherewithal and Clarity and all of that you know so you know the good news is you know we can call that back by embracing Foods we used to eat but you know just good luck trying to find milk if it’s you know illegal in your state blah blah blah but you know so I would not have had my girls vaccinated and I wish I knew about traditional foods you know what I know now back then you know cuz I would have done that differently as well and I would have homeschooled and so I think it is very important to understand you know this is this is about breaking spells and everything that we’ve been told that we’ve been raised under has been you know presented to us and our parents and our grandparents okay by this we’re in a commercial system and and so it controls our education it controls our media you know certain interest within their now there’s the comedian George Carlin does a fantastic feel and this is stand-up comedy and holy shit like this was no joke he’s talking about education and why it will never change and he’s like people you need to understand something right now you know you are owned you are owned and these politicians those are just those are just figureheads put there so that you think you owe me I vote for this guy I have some amount of power here he’s like the real people with the you know the Reigns of Power are hidden they’re not out there they’re not in your gossip magazines and what not and they own everything they own the land you live on that you know they they put together the institutions and this and this and this and and so it’s a very important to to really start to take a wide view and start to see this the system for what it is and and start to say okay you know what I am no longer going to you don’t give Credence to you know what the FDA says or the CDC or you know what whatever and it doesn’t matter who becomes president you know all these people crying cuz Hillary didn’t win she’s a disgusting Pig so and so’s Trump okay look essentially the Clinton crime family didn’t win the Trump crime family won this is a criminal Syndicate and also divide and conquer goes back to Rome and Beyond look how polarized we are ban look how polarized we are oh my God and God forbid oh my God anyone say oh yeah you know I actually do like you know that one thing Trump is doing all my God people will jump all over that person right and I just been sitting back looking watching back and forth back and forth going people this is the oldest trick so they keep the silly mughals fighting among themselves whether it’s pro-choice or pro-life or republican Democrat liberal conservative as always two sides there’s never a third is there it’s just always to fight fight fight you know and that’s why I don’t I don’t go into the two end of the feminist vote either I’m like nope I’m not going there I’m not feminist I’m not I say we all we all need to respect each other and treat each other well and raise our children that way I mean the golden rule is pretty easy to understand you know you treat others the way you yourself would be treated and at the same time don’t be a fool you know because there are a lot of bad people out there as well but anyway I think I’m going off his attention here but in any case so yeah so taking that step back and starting to see the constructs for what it is and realize something everybody that you know we have lost our mythology we have lost our tribes we have lost connection to our old gods and goddesses you know what I think of the Scottish people I mostly Scottish you know there was a huge battle that the Scots my people fought in the 1700s they fought you know the Brits who wear whatever controlled by Rome or whatever the deal with that this is God’s got their asses handed to them on a platter with a very bloody battle and they just massacred that man in that after that battle so much was lost in that culture and then the Scots were not allowed to wear their Clan Kilts their tartans or something like 56 years if they were caught they were sent out of the country or punished severely so you know what that’s so in other words and so here we are in this Melting Pot which were told oh yeah let’s Embrace diversity everybody you know what it is it’s just putting us all into a corporate sameness and so everybody is losing their culture I don’t care if you’re Chinese or you know American Indian Scottish or what we’re all you know losing touch and so then and then so when you do that when you do that to a people then essentially the government think your will be your new god listen to us and we will create the institutions will create the education will create the media and and I’m not setting to Media is a weapon television the reason why I don’t have a television and I don’t want you know what I can’t I can’t even watch movies anymore because I can see the social engineering and so this is sorcery sorcery is manipulation and so television you’re telling a vision and then what are you watching on the television program and then interesting Lee what do you do what do you change to watch a different program to channel okay and then media is too short for a medium a medium another thing for a medium bring through you know Spirit entities and what not and so this medium is bringing through you know these programs and of course you go into a trance just like a medium does go into a light trance makes you very suggestive and then all sorts of programming and all of those family fun shows and even those clever shows you think are soaked you know I can’t even think of the Grey’s Anatomy and all that horseshit they’re loaded it’s all programming to get you to identify with those characters in that oh yeah that’s how things are you know that’s how that’s how it is and so it’s all inducting you into this sort of way of being and also so in other words we used to tell stories we used to tell stories do you know I realized I realized I could check this out I realize this a few weeks ago or last month it occurred to me oh my God I was initiated into the Celtic Mysteries by my Irish Grandma who is off the boat from Ireland should full Irish accent and she was a master Storyteller will the Irish have been known for that you know Master storytellers their storytellers in every culture but you know that I was really been known for this and she would speak very quietly so we’d have to show and listen to these Amazing Stories and she tells stories about that the fairies and The Kelpies and the Banshees and she was an amazing Storyteller and and then I call my mom later that day I said hey you know it occurred to me I told her that and my mom said I cannot believe you’re calling with me me with a Shana guess what today is an I said what and she said today is your grandmother’s birthday she’s been dead for years you know I didn’t know in any case but so you know we would we would share the stories of our ancestors and astrology and so all of that has been okay and so with that then you know you have children growing up identifying with their folk right and feeling like I am part of this and this is magical and this is ancient and there’s heroes in this lineage and there’s you know this and this and now would we have with TV so it’s not that hard it’s not that great of a leap of logic right to imagine that adults would reaxis some of that imaginary fun making Instinct rape American coach Leisure we would look down on play and we look down on make-believe and so we decide that’s just for children and it’s not for grown ups and I think that that’s a really horrible horrible perspectives of the world cuz you’re only a child for a very very brief point of your life and you’re an adult for a really really long part of your life and wouldn’t I don’t want to stop playing would you want to grow up ever and so yeah I think of BDSM I think erotic play I feel like yeah it’s just this extension of your creativity and artistic and Tristan and your means of expressing yourself and now you get to have sex so why wouldn’t you add that and everything else thank you for helping to frame it that way cuz that it’s it’s so it’s easier to digest when you when I just have never heard that what that phrase before but it just erotic play being obviously it means that you could incorporate more than just your one monogamous married partner that’s just still only allowed that culturally they by the mainstream the idea of being sexually playful with a group of people in the community of people as a social activity like a cocktail party or a mixer or I mean why can’t you believe make break into play make-believe you know the okay fine I just I’m this is my partner this is the only person I’m going to have sex with her I’m going to be in love with or however you’re defining that but I can pretend for the next hour or two that there’s someone I’ve never met before or that there a superhero or that a magical being or whatever and that can really shift your erotic interest in your erotic pleasure I think you probably would be able to say that it will make a lot of relationships last longer and be more Pap more healthier happier for sustainable resilient cuz you’re not getting bored and giving up and going you know stoic that’s great so do you have a key tell it tell me more about the center and how it how it runs and functions is it kind of like a drop-in center or do you have only certain events at certain times or how does the facility time work out we don’t actually have a physical location most of it exists inside my laptop and out of and that means we don’t have to pay for rent so that’s why we go to where we need to go so you know we have regular meetings happen in my house or one of the other board members houses we do have some events here and there are a lot of our fundraisers or just online to make it easier to reach as many people as possible and of course we’re trying to reach a broader audience than just Los Angeles so we Skype workshops we Skype things we’ve talked to classes in New York and classes in Idaho and you know all over the place so you know we do a lot of different things we also have an academic Journal that you’re positive sexuality it’s free it’s open access anyone is welcome to use it and read it and submit work to it and you know that’s been going we’re now in our third year of publication of that and that is hitting a worldwide audience some of the countries that are accessing this are it’s all over in Australia and in Belgium and in various parts of the UK and it’s hitting parts of Asia Japan so it’s really really great so we have a very wide reach and what we do we have approximately 50 to 60 volunteers who work with us we also have an internship program so we get college students who want internship credits or what the work experience and so they volunteer for a specific. Of time and work on specific projects for us at different times of the year we get most of our interns during the summer but we get interns year-round and we have in our volunteers so we have Educators we have people who are research Affiliates and who published research and use the center is one of their professional affiliations we have research assistants who helped them we do you work with events so we do some Outreach events I think on Wednesday we’re going to UCLA sextravaganza which is been happening for several years on UCLA’s campus that we usually set up a booth are we do that with other things around town we’ve also have members some of our volunteers go to conferences all over the world and represent us at different places and in different areas where they were very popular in Melbourne just found out from a friend who’s been living in Australia for past couple years so I can’t I guess we’ll have to go there at some point cool it’s a new cloud-based model it’s elegant and overhead in the neighborhood drama and that there’s a lot of reasons to transcend that six location and you can if you can be a mobile you know unit then you can just take your your your laptop and projector and some you know what your handouts or whatever you have in this b a and again because true using Skype and using other types of internet programs you know we can get into a classroom you know that might not be able to bring us there physically but we can still do it will set it up on our end and and just stream live stream wherever we need to be and and it’s very helpful to cuz we so we have volunteers I think are farthest away volunteer that we’ve had so far was in Trinidad so we can have volunteers from anywhere in the world who can work with us medication programs and so they help us Creator update or education resources in our reference materials and putting together things to help teachers facilitate this in their classes they might actually be one of our Educators we train people to go out to those classes and to give presentations to places we have research assistants to make come in with a certain amount of background knowledge and how to do academic research and some come in just wanted to learn it and so we trained them and they work with people who are doing research in various aspects of positive sexuality and so some of them get to co-author papers and some of them get to work on the ground floor of research happening and get to really get into what that is and have a voice and have an influence in what’s being done in the academic world and this is course then starts to affect policy when we’re putting scientific research in front of people and saying here this is what the says that’s not the correct or let them besides these aspects and that can be very very helpful we work with other organizations so and CSF the National Coalition for sexual freedom is one of our sort of co-working his nation’s the community academic Consortium for research on alternative sexualities we work with them as well yeah I’m getting chills yeah I’m getting chills cuz this is a lot more than I bargained for and actually seeking a lot of what you’re describing and to have yeah we hope we have a good bit of time last time feeling compelled to ask you a little bit about I guess hey if you’re into taboos right blowing them there is all I ever believed starting this week there’s going to be the biggest psychedelic science conference in the history of humanity happening in the Bay Area it’s put together by that multidisciplinary Association for psychedelic studies and the there’s a lot of really important cutting-edge legal for the first time in decades studies happening all over the world with psilocybin you know I gave magic mushrooms and MDMA and Ayahuasca and marijuana and peyote and I will gain a number of other synthetic and natural organic you could say psychedelic compounds in a lot of it is at this point in this stage of the Renaissance of research it’s really about proving the safety the relative safety of different compounds getting the dosage to be sort of understood better at also having some really important clinical trials around ending ending addiction to harmful drugs ending cigarette addiction end-of-life anxiety sexual abuse and Trauma and PTSD from War veterans there’s all these different the demographics that are starting to have really groundbreaking results and they’re doing you know they’re putting in the millions of dollars to do the the research for all this and so I bring that up just to say that this is an interesting juncture for me because the a cultural cliche about sex drugs and rock and roll and you know the way that the culture of inebrians is starting to move a large part due to Raves and festivals it’s moving more towards entheogens than just Coke and heroin and meth and booze there’s more opportunities for people who are coming into their sexuality to have access to psychedelic experiences and so there’s the new Alchemy of innocent in these Generations between sex drugs and rock and roll and if it’s it’s it’s it’s a lot more sophisticated and advanced and and and just more diverse in many ways than it was in the 60s when it was you know Acid Rock and LSD and other birth of the the hippie movement in the 60s but I’m wondering if you have in your position they’re come across any any any people who are interested in in rigorous academic study of what this new sex and drugs and rock and roll Paradigm it is shaping up to become if there’s anyone interested in that that you know of he’s been there are definitely people who are starting who are doing research on these topics and very often the connection that ends up happening in the academic research is you know if we’re looking at the sex drugs and rock and roll that of course is going to look at the outcomes and too often I think the the outcome that gets stressed is okay so what’s the what’s the public health issue so is it possible or is it likely that people are might be transmitting STIs because they might be under the influence of something or maybe they can’t we do we have to worry about consent if someone is under the influence of something that then means that they cannot now consent to what happens at that point so what happens if everybody who’s involved have done that so where does that line get drawn so I think a lot of the issues that have come up in recent research has been either on public health topics around STI transmission or on consent topics recognizing that at least by law if someone is inebriated for example they can now no longer consent to sexual activity okay so what happens if everybody involved. That’s so interesting yet that’s exactly what I’ve been actually encountering and in just by life experiences it’s there’s there’s a lot of people now who were you can say you were having expanded Consciousness through empty agentic use meaning it’s kind of a nice way of saying psychedelic no drugs but but that’s an important consideration because just because you feel like you’re enlightened than that one with God doesn’t mean that you’re immune from being the perpetrator with that Enlightenment that you don’t think you have a potential for abuse and even if it’s not that sort of shady you know where that sort of Insidious there’s also just the issue you’re not in your body if you’re having an out-of-body ecstatic psychedelic experience how how do you get even if you can send it to the idea of something earlier in the evening that has to be held through somehow and if you lose the if you become somebody else or part of your higher self or whatever it could be theirs that’s some chicky territory for sure yeah so that’s I guess there’s you know that I’ve seen like at electronic dance music events you can call him Rave but that’s kind of more you know probably more accurate term these days cuz there’s within that whole world there’s different camps and it’s more no more more bride to just called electronic dance music these days but you know there is there’s sort of harm reduction education Outreach groups that put out one sheet kind of look like glass CD mailer cards you know about business matters and they have kind of a profile of what the different substances how did how to test and make sure that they’re real or are what you’re getting it like that there’s that whole harm reduction education Outreach approach that is kind of like what you’re talking about but it’s for the party scene in just for best and better practices around that but I could see that they’re being a sum interest group of people where they would want to see things the way you’re talking about it cuz I actually no way you’re framing it it it feels like there’s a lot more due diligence for people that want to be credible and respectable and using best practices to actually think with some of these analytical tools so I’m hoping you’ll be great if there was some overlap or or or Synergy with all this stuff I think more and more what is happening as we’re seeing the people who are actually involved in all of these different spaces you know the people were actually doing whatever it is we’re talking about having more influence on the research that’s being conducted so that it creates a more authentic overall experience and I think it adds a level of legitimacy to the research so rather than a researcher sort of from on high saying well I’m going to study this group and I think what they’re doing may not be safe and so we know the perspective that I’m going to come about with this is that well this is already inherently unsafe and now I’m going to show you why it’s in safe and I think more and more we have researchers who are in these communities who are in these faces or doing all of these things and you say you know maybe we need to do is talk to the people who were actually doing this and not talk to them with a preconceived notion of what’s going on or what they’re experiencing or what may be happening but go in just as a hey could give us some information to tell us about what’s happening and I think we’re seeing more of that so there has been research on for example like barebacking and there’s been research on sex workers experiences and there’s been research on sort of the the spiritual some of the spiritual Connections in the spiritual extremes that can be experienced through extreme SM activities light hookah coals and those kinds of things so we’re seeing more and more of that happening where people who are actually in these groups are part of the subcultures are also crossovers into the academic life and we’re just seeing an amazing amount of research that starting to Bubble to the surface and get a little bit of space. I think this research has been getting done for quite a while but it can be really hard to get it published because some of the academic Publishers don’t want to hear about it and I want you to my is any of these things so if they publish something on it they want to be really careful so with our journal and with some of the other journals out there we’ve been able to bridge. Cap and actually be able to show some I feel like more authentic stories well absolutely will now in this world have so many The Gatekeepers being dissolved by the power of the internet I feel like you know there’s a lot of bad journalism or untrained journalism so there’s got to be a lot of bad or untrained or Incredible or uncredible research but maybe it’s the methodology that can be what’s the word sort of feel like I could imagine what as you were speaking I was imagining will wouldn’t it be great to train the you know that like the anthropological participation observation ethnography kind of model but if you were to train if you were coming from that subculture and you wanted to sort of document your tribe and produce your own ethnography kind of amongst your friends kind of tabulate experiences and collect notes insured compare notes is there was you recommend any kind of Crash Course doing data collection for different types of research paper I’m doing ethnography in the field and sort of how that works and how you can sort of pull everything together there’s a really good little guidebooks you know a quick online search for for some of these guys are out there and ask her if she is amazing stuff I love doing a photography by the way I think it’s an incredible tool that doesn’t get use nearly enough and and it got a lot of researchers a colleague of mine she recently did a photographic ethnographic working with lgbtq Foster Youth and homeless Youth and kind of went out gave them all cameras and said take photographs of Your World of your life of who you are, and they did a whole art show you know like found a gallery in Downtown LA and just played everyone’s photographs and and you know really got people connected to them and seeing them as people who have life experiences and they’re not just sort of a category of disadvantaged kids so yeah I think there’s there’s an easy guide books out there just like a quick you can find some quick little things of how to do ethnography and how to do that and but I think a lot of that to starts with her own storytelling so things that you do and things that others do and and all the bloggers out there and everything of these are all forms of ethnography relay yeah that’s cool it’s just that it’s exciting and hopeful cuz I feel that I’m at a point where I’m doing kind of pseudo-scientific Rogue radical research that’s way too far out for any government agency or any academic institution to touch with a ten-foot pole so it’s it’s kind of on me and my colleagues and friends 2 do this sort of underground research but then hope that it it’s done in a way that it can be respectable or it can be legitimated later you know but it is probably good to do what you’re suggesting and actually have some some templates for collecting the data that mean okay here’s what would our experiment yielded and here’s the methodology in the procedure and you can test it on your own Hardy or lab or whatever replicate what you’ve done and so can you give enough information that would allow somebody else to replicate and get similar results in their own place or find totally different results which is also fascinating injured and interesting and yeah and I think that’s really I mean that’s science that is science Sciences pushing boundaries and science is you now let’s try a new thing and see what happens and science is telling a new story or New Perspective of a story and you know I think that that’s been lost over the past many years Society The Sciences inquiry science is asking questions and wondering why thing happens and how something happens and trying to figure that out and I think that we’ve sort of collectively as a larger society have sort of lost that Focus write the word crowdsourced crowd-source funding crowdsourced ideas and editing and an art I mean you were talking about that at that photo gallery exhibit and that’s a great example if you would call that a crowd-sourced ethnographic oh yeah photojournalism nice oh yeah that’s cool that’s that’s exciting time so I’m also wondering now do you have do you do you or your organization the Center provide any kind of consulting services or any kind of where you could be hired or you could be sort of commissioned to do research or to consult on Research I don’t know that we’re I don’t know that anybody is really hired to do research cuz wouldn’t it be fantastic if someone will pay for that but that doesn’t happen if we do get hired as consultants for a variety of things so either individuals within the organization or the collective organization May consult on certain projects or consult on like creative curriculum for a particular thing and we have individuals who are consulted on court cases and I’m legal issues so so there’s a lot of that we also get hired by professionals like to teach professional workshops on various topics so that happens as well because we’re a nonprofit although those things are often we you know ask for fee cuz usually the people who were asking for these services are people who can pay for it but what going out to the schools we’re going to colleges in touch or we have a student group asked us to come and do something with them or like what you know we go to somebody’s community of answer something we may ask for an honorarium but we’re going to do this stuff for free so we really depend on our donors and our contributors and the people who support us to kind of give us the funding that we need in order to do what we want to do and and to publishing and all the other stuff so our journals available for free most of our Outreach staff and education program is all for free so yeah a lot of what we do depends on donations as opposed to people actually hiring us officially to do something right on that sounds like a healthy well-rounded multi Revenue stream nonprofit you’re definitely fulfilling your mission in so many beautiful dimensions and I’m just really happy to know that we’ve connected to some really feel better about living in the world with you more offline 2 just to explore some of these Consulting opportunities that you have and see what we’re about and all of that stuff were completely volunteer so none of us are paid for what we do I don’t run a paycheck nobody wants a paycheck that’s completely volunteer and yeah we’re just we’re just trying to let you know we just try to bring it enough funds to keep going and to keep doing what we’re doing and to expand so we’re actually going to be expanding our face-to-face education program out to Chicago over the next few months so Craig can you do that that’s well thank you so much that’s great I feel like it’s it’s really refreshing to to hear that there are people out there who are so dedicated to the cause that it’s that you did not just going to slam the door in your face if you don’t write a check if you know the first five minutes if you’re not going to bill me for this podcast interview right now about an hour into it is do you have a sort of committee or task force or team or just even a person who is either because they are a trauma Survivor or because it’s just near and dear to their hearts whatever reason is there you do consent workshops in self-defense or rape and assault prevention and any any more of the or any any of the sort of preventative and treatment kind of education unpreparedness we do have programs around consent we don’t really specifically talk about self defense or or right prevention in the standard sense so we don’t really talk about here’s what you can do to prevent being raped we talked about here’s what you can do to not rape someone because really this is not on the victim this is on the perpetrator but we also talked about you know here’s other ways that you might think about your sexual self and your identity in the power dynamics that you may interact with and find consensual outlets for some of your interests and behaviors and the citiz and you know we talked about a wide range of those things so it would be great if the people who are doing the Rape Crisis counseling and who are just in the trenches of dealing with battered women and in and going in and and doing you know investigations to catch meant to prosecute the perpetrators of all ages if they were I would let it would be great if in it you know in a perfect world they were seeking you all to educate themselves on better prevention and better version or diversion from the criminal whole that the response like they’re coming as the First Responders two incidents that would have been prevented by a proper education on all sides right and we do have we do have information so some of our researchers and and because we have people who are social workers who have conducted research through us who have published on how to do how to have a sex positive approach to handling victims how to have a sex positive approach to handling offenders and that these approaches can really help reduce crime can reduce negative stigma can reduce it comes cool is that would that be on your website or at some if I if I can follow up with you later cool okay well alright I feel like it’s this is yes. Kali’s Love Deflowers the Desolate Male Ego with Ryan TPP59

Play

Kali in Union with Shiva In this episode I have the deep and profound honor of sharing one of what I hope will be many “Kali Monologues” from those who have experienced revelation and salvation with Goddess Kali. This first guest narrative by my new dear friend Ryan provides heart wrenching and warming insight into the process of self-initiation through psychedelic goddess worship. I was brought to tears as I read his first email to me, I asked if he’d be willing to record his story so I could share it on the show. Please enjoy and allow these words of liberation and redemption to motivate you to transcend your ego and all negative influences internal and external that intend to bring you down. Never forget the eternal divine feminine love ever awaiting your courage to seek her dancing embrace.

I also answer a listener  question about the interplay of drugs and spirituality. I offer my guidance for best practices, and it couldn’t be better timing that the question came in and is the prelude to Ryan’s story of psychedelic goddess worship.

Please help support the show by making a one-time or recurring donation. In addition to helping sustain and improve the show, you’ll be helping to establish permaculture goddess temples that provide ecological employment for single mothers.

Blessings,
-Ben

Seeking the Heart of Tantra with Nirmala Nataraj TPP57

Play

Nirmala pic In this episode I am joined by Nirmala Nataraj. I discovered her great works in a search for a teaching on the symbology within the Kali Yantra and found her article.

She has graciously blessed the podcast by sharing her story of personal transformation through Tantra and Goddess Kali worship. She holds sacred space for me to share some of my revelations and research and generously provides validation of and guidance for many of my most controversial discoveries.

Together we weave a mutually affirming narrative of personal healing and spiritual growth through our devotion to Kali. We emphasize the need for preparation, care, and caution when approaching her might and magic. We also encourage listeners to find supportive fellowship as they rediscover and reinvent Kali’s vast primordial irrepressible nature.

Nirmala shares a description of the Kali Yantra and conducts a devotional guided meditation using the Yantra.

We close with a brief discussion on sexual healing and empowerment through tantra and she offers some great advice for individuals and couples to break through repressive cultural conditioning and reclaim the power and beauty of sacred love making.

About Nirmala:

I’m Nirmala Nataraj, a San Francisco Bay Area-based Desire Guru and Taboo Slayer (and you can find me at my day job here)!

Sacred Fire Desire Coaching is my way of connecting directly with those who want to embody their truth. My wish to expand people’s repertoire of tools and resources through creative problem-solving is paramount in my approach. I especially love to work with people to clear some of the obstacles that keep them from expressing their deepest truths—obstacles such as shame, past experiences of trauma, and the inability to embrace and integrate every last part of themselves.

For me, healing is something that happens when we are willing to wrestle our demons…and then become their friends (which also happens to be a recurring theme in my writing). I’m also interested in inspiring my clients to view relationships, intimacy, and sexuality as viable and rigorous paths to personal development and purpose.

My training background includes the OneTaste Coaching Program, the Co-Active Coach Training Program, and the Bay Area Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Immersion Program.

Com and our journey together will begin hello dear love his phone cover Township podcast episode number 57 I’m here with nirmala and we’re going to talk about goddess Kali and all of the beautiful magnificent ways that she’s entered our lives and given Direction and guidance and some of the Practical applications that we can all use to access her love and medicine and then we were just talking briefly about how apt it is that she was recently featured on the Empire State Building projected during a an endangered species slideshow production that that occurred and then at one of the Visionary artist Android Jones had a slide in there which is a beautiful collie face rendition and caused a bit of an uproar as you’d expect this is sort of a starting point to talk about this her she’s being called forth now to help us and if you don’t believe that you can look up the pictures didn’t see that you know it’s like the Batman signal or something so anyway that was my little brief intro and I normally would you please say thank you for joining us and please tell us about your background and in your path where to start my so first of all I I work I work pretty heavily with just what I consider the energy of desire and being somebody who’s been on a non dualistic tantrik pot for as long as I can remember and I grew up in a traditional Hindu household and both of my parents are from India and I was raised here so a lot of my own path has been about bridging cultural differences and really diving into the energy of what I see as the collective Shadow and for me desire is something that is really capable of helping us to heal from that split that we tend to have between masculine and feminine Darkness and Light and and I think that Kali is a really as it’s kind of emblematic of what it could look like when those when those pictures are heel and when the split is healed and we and we stopped being in conflict with ourselves and and so a lot of the work that I do is around healing our healing our connection with our sexuality healing our connection desire and my website is sacred fire coaching.com because because I do believe that our desire is the sacred fire that lives within us and it’s our responsibility as incarnate beings 210 that fire so that’s a little bit about 10 of the work that I do and I can talk a little bit more about that later but insurance if my own path I would I would say that it’s it actually comes from pretty ancient lineage and my family is from South India and there’s a long line of country cuz in the area both of my parents are from a lot of Hindu Tantra practice today can be found in South India and a lot of these practices are related to the 10 wisdom goddesses who are known as the Mojave Diaz and they’re very prevalent in a lot of different forms of Tantra and Kali is one of them so these goddesses are revered in South India and by far the most strongly maintain tan tradition in South India is his status Street as yet and she is Supreme goddess and a lot of practitioners in the street of your tradition including people in my family tends to be married householders and often there’s a family tradition of practice but being a woman is South Asian descent who was raised and the West I grew up in California back to Tantra has been its it happened been as direct it hasn’t been a part of this unbroken lineage and in fact I would say that that Tantra is still something that in in India in a lot of traditional Hindu family it’s really still seen as kind of a a dark path and there are still a lot of just as misunderstandings about Tantra abounds in the West on there’s a lot of misunderstanding about Tantra in the East and I think a lot of that comes from just you know Colonial attitude two words the way that the body and sexuality and certain spiritual practices were four kind of conveyed so a lot of I would say that a lot of Hindus in a lot of Indian people in general have kind of internalized those attitudes so so like I said before my path back to Tantra has a lot to do with my own exploration of desire and sexuality and desire and sexuality as a rigorous spiritual so I’ve always been interested in sex and sexuality and actually since I was very very young back when nobody in my family talks about it and if the same time because I I grew up in a household where devotion Devotion to god and goddess were really kind of a part of our daily existence I I was always in an environment that was very overly spiritual actually one of my earliest I wanted to be a nun and I wasn’t Christian nobody in my family was Christian but I remember just reading about female nuns and Mystics and being so drawn to this idea of devoting myself body and soul to God so I have always been on a path that I’ve considered devotional and that I’ve considered a path of surrender and that gradually grew into a worship of the dark goddess and all of her forms as mahakali as inanna Ishtar as as the Virgin of Guadalupe and that was actually really connected to my own discovery of feminism and goddess worship as a way of bringing the salmon in back into spiritual practices so so over time I was really interested in how the dark goddess encourages us to dissolve our boundaries between the sacred and the profane and I think that that’s what led me to Tantra and in addition a lot of my former work I used to be a Rape Crisis counselor and so I’ve worked with a lot of women who have felt just generally wounded and disconnected from their own essential sexuality and sensuality and a lot of my work has been without healing. Chasm and I for me working with collie and working with different forms of the dark goddess has been immensely healing I I really can’t even put that into words and end this this really comes from my own experience of how many women and it isn’t just women it’s also none how many of us have been wounded by a pervasive cultural attitudes about sex and sexuality and the sex is an extremely powerful force and the time because I knew this and they know it and and they work with it and incredible and hoping ways but sex is also something that’s a power that can be misused and as women we we often use that power in ways that don’t serve us and we use it to to do things like we to make people fall in love with us for instance where to use sexuality as a weapon because in many ways text has been used as a weapon against us and very few of the women that I’ve ever met has have worked with their sexuality as a source of pleasure and is a source of achieving Union ecstatic Union with the Divine so that’s that’s been a really big interest of mine how do we how do we move towards sex and desire to do that and also another really important aspect is my pot that I kind of alluded to earlier is looking at this experience of being bicultural this experience of growing up in two completely different traditions and and Bridging the Gap because I do think that Eastern forms of thought like Tantra obviously we’re seeing them becoming more and more popular and more and more needed and the west and at the same time there’s there’s just been a lot of really interesting stuff that’s been happening in India in particular and other places where traditionally women haven’t held over positions of power and where there really is still a lot of suppression as far as sexuality goes it’s amazing that India’s this place where Tantra and the Kama Sutra came out of but at the same time there are still horrific attitudes towards women are still bride burning since honor killings and end public rate end so I think that we really we really need to come to an understanding that that Bridges the disconnect that exists and it and I think this isn’t just a disconnect that’s about east and west and our attitudes towards sexuality and body and spirituality it’s a deeper and deeper conflict that’s being healed and it’s a conflict that I think lives inside the human consciousness and that collie and got us have to have the profound power to really heal so so a lot of the work that I’m doing is that the dressing that dualistic split again you know between nature and civilization masculine light and dark and I’m really interested in accessing your life force which is it’s the erotic nstemi accessing the erotic it’s it’s a spiritual act it’s a political act on it’s what we can do to claim our freedom as creative beings and I’ve really seen magical things happen we can act without energy and I’ve seen that happen in my own life and just to give you a little bit more background about myself about 7 years ago or so I was in a marriage that was falling apart and everything looked great on the outside I have been with my partner for close to a decade and something was missing and I didn’t know exactly what and I felt so guilty that I can be in this marriage that where everything looks perfect on the outside but inside there was something essential that was missing that I couldn’t put a name to I’m so I buried that understanding three years and years and and finally at some point the entire relationship just kind of exploded and it was like goddess herself came into my life and and shown this Stark light on to everything that I had built and and I felt like I was falling apart and it was a revelation and it was very difficult for me at that time and I think it’s that way of guilt and shame this this sense of internal knowing that there’s something that’s missing and I look back on that time now and I know that what was missing was my sense of connection to pleasure and desire and two goddess really to the feminine I think that that weight of guilt and shame of wanting and longing for this thing that we don’t have words for it it keeps so many women from tapping into the full extent of who they are and they’re afraid to even admit to it so I would say that my my real talk begin with just acknowledging my desire technology that there was a desire that was not being mad and it was not being that in the context of that marriage so after that I I would stay the night I went on an odyssey that involved Tantra it involved doing some somatic therapy sexological Bodywork and seeing what has been frozen inside me and this experience with Awakening and another itself and I really wanted to share that with other women and so many of the women that I have worked with had really similar stories and another thing that I’ve discovered that’s been remarkable is that a lot of the women I’ve worked with have kind of come into their own relationship with goddess and we’re really finding you know we can’t we can’t divorce our sexuality from our sense of connection to God has for my sense of connection to the universe and to each other and I think that would have been recognizing the night I should say that I work primarily with women but I’ve also worked with men and I’m seeing this awareness and then also is that we are seeking to make our ecosystem harmonious we’re tired of being in conflict with ourselves and we want a sexuality and a spirituality and creativity and community that are all integrated where we don’t have to leave any part of ourselves out answer me with the work that I’ve done in Tantra and with my own practices that involves connecting with collie she she is that energy she is fat energy of you know what here’s this is this is who you are this is all of you take it all you know the good the bad the ugly the things that you perceived as beautiful things that you perceive is garbage and use it because it’s yours and that for me has really been the gift of working with Tantra and being on this path wow thank you so much I’m just like smiling like ramakrishna this whole time here he missed that one photo that’s like so ecstatic and blissed-out the love of the mother just is so intoxicating and yeah yeah this is so beautiful for me to hear especially the did you see at the intensity I mean I’ll tell you that a lot of the time for that I was exposed to four years didn’t go anywhere near Shadow work or collie and when it’s when she was finally you know various when she entered my life very forcefully but yet beautifully I realized how much well just started to scratch the surface of what was missing from the westernized you know hyper-sexualized Tantra that’s not really getting into the deep Shadow work so yeah I really appreciate just having you on this in this conversation and if you don’t mind before we get into the the yantra if I could just Explorer some of my questions for you about Kali and how how she can be accessed and what some of her roles are ya so like I said I was going to learning Township techniques and breathwork and eye gazing and meditation and chakras and Kundalini stuff and and and it was just sort of well divorced from Sedona and goddess worship and so you know the encountering of in the wind a true just to passionate Devotion to the goddess for how much love there is there in one set started to pour into my life and when you know female sort of priestesses were starting to enter my life to initiate me and connect me that way I started going on a frenzy of really studying this force of nature that’s beyond words really beyond the iconic symbol of her standing on Shiva really that’s just a map but it’s not the terrain the terrain of her flesh in her being in her dimensions are so vast you know they’re unspeakable and I’ve gotten deeper and deeper into exploring her boundlessness and I’m curious as SUV gun into your ritual practice of of worship how how would you describe visual experiences an emotional and embodiment experiences send just a sort of narrative Beyond iconography that you’ve experienced too kind of compare notes you know I’m saying about that for hours yeah it’s it’s I think there’s always kind of this interesting experience that that we have when we decide to devote ourselves to particular path or even to a particular deity there’s you know kind of navigating that c of contradictions that all of the stories all of the lore all of the imagery on the experiences you hear about other people having there’s all of that that’s kind of floating and the Consciousness and I think it’s particularly complicated with Kali because she’s she’s so she represents a paradigm that to me is about moving beyond Orthodox representation socially Downs ideas of what’s good are appropriate so in some ways she’s she’s she’s really hard to represent and you know I’m constantly reading descriptions of Kali at that I that I think are grossly mistaken and I just a kind of I picked this up in park in preparing for this interview I was doing a bit of research and I was and I noticed that there was an Encyclopedia Britannica it describes collie as the major Hindu goddess whose I can. she calls in mythology commonly associate her with death sexuality violence and paradoxically and some of her later historical appearances motherly love which I think is really funny because I don’t think any of that is paradox in some ways and comprehensible and so I I would actually say that eyes my relationship with Collies when that is I mean how can it not be informed by certain cultural ideas of who she is whether those are coming more from Orthodox Hindu ideas of who she is and I should say that I grew up in a household that very much revered Kali and and and Shiva in particular they were they were on the present so there were lots and lots of beautiful pictures of collie with her necklace with severed skulls and it was always really funny when I had friends coming over to my house and they see these pictures and it’d be like oh my God that’s that’s so creepy that’s so messed up like why do you have these pictures up in your house and I I really agree with a with an enormous amount of reverence for these images which you know that they might look violent on the outside but they’re just they’re just representations you know their representations of things that exist within each and every one of us then and I always for me I always felt that was that was the beauty of it the beauty was in was in the imagery that that didn’t just fit didn’t just done represent her as being kind of the docile nurturing mother but there’s love these in here there’s love even in this and I really grew up with that understanding so none of that snooze paradoxical but at the same time a lot of Hindus will say oh well, he is actually really loving there is no there is no ferocious aspect beer I think that still persist even among people who do follow her and I think that it’s really important to it’s really important to see that so that her love is all encompassing it it really it’s her love is is her dancing in the Charnel grounds it’s her cutting off illusion at its roots it’s her frankly doing all the shit that we humans don’t want to do that we don’t want to face and I think I really I’ve really discovered Kali in my body in my dreams there’s a very there’s a personal relationship that I’ve had to develop with collie that’s about yes it’s about entertaining the way that she appears in the world and imagery and iconography and I think that there’s a place for all of that but it never became quite real to me until I experienced her for myself until I experienced myself in her grip well yeah well I think that the the story that you read that I wrote it was it was about coming face-to-face with her during I guess what I could describe as being a Dark Night of the Soul on at a time in my life where I felt completely alone and in many ways forsaken by just the spiritual practices that I had had and it was just a really it was a very lonely. My life and I didn’t have a spiritual community that I could really share this with and the most intense experience I had is coming face-to-face with Mama was it’s so appropriate it was during my first Ayahuasca Journey and and I it’s it’s funny sometimes when I described that Journey to the people that they’re just horrified because it really felt like I was coming I was coming face-to-face with death with my dad with the death of everything that I had held to be stable and fixed and everything I thought of as being me and and I think it’s really it’s important of course to remember that collie Collies name is it comes from the Sanskrit root for time and there’s nothing that is skates you know the march of time there’s nothing that escapes her and so and I do think of calling is being a goddess of death but I I’ve always seen it as being the death of the ego and that was that was kind of the experience that I that I had and I which is not to say that I think my ego is completely dead or the even that I wanted to be completely and totally different conversation altogether but but I really felt that this this experience that I had of coming face-to-face with her was about overcoming all of these ideas that I had about who I was and I think that when we become encased in those ideas those ideas become a prison and we don’t allow ourselves to grow into what we could be we don’t allow ourselves to move in the direction that our souls urine for and so I it was it was an incredibly on uplifting experience it was the experience of I’m dying and and also understanding that part of me that is eternal that that is not my you know the part of me that is not my body and not my personality and not my ego which is not to say that that stuff is in the gated because I cannot have that experience was just an even deeper appreciation for everything that I do have all of these tools that I do have at my disposal and I just remember coming out about journey of being sort of like wow I have have this body and you know like my body does all this amazing stuff that’s so cool and there was a sense of. Being you know a face of this this larger being that I am but I bet that’s part of the mystery it belongs to the mystery just as she lives in a mystery and I kind of felt that little journey into my death was this this this beautiful on kind of sojourn into that deeper mystery where you know everything that we believe about ourselves is is just untrue on and it’s it’s interesting cuz it feels like to me that was ego obliterating but it was also on I would say that it’s the most loved that I’ve ever felt it’s the most I’ve ever felt and it was in it wasn’t it was coming to me and it was moving through me and I was that love and if anything it felt like it just it it made me so much bigger then I then I ever knew was possible and that’s me is is just kind of stuff ultimate that’s the ultimate encounter with her she shows you how small your ideas of yourself really are there so puny know who you think you are and what you believe you’re capable of compared to the reality which is just so vast it’s it’s like you know if we settle we settle for so little in terms of our lives than 10 we settle for safety but I but I do think that with the soul wants is that experience of vastness and that experience is moving in to know the places that we fear which I kind of like the veil in front of the vastness you know you got it you have to move through that in order to get to in order to get to that place where you like oh yeah this is it this is this is the experience that my soul has been hungering for and I was the experience that I knew I was hungry for when I was in this dead-end marriage where everything like the future had been written it was everything had been predicted I know I could cross it all off my to-do list and die happy according to someone else’s standards of what that happiness was but I would never have gotten to that to that place to that place of you know feeling this Indescribable love the love that comes through when you’re willing to surrender your ideas of who you are and what your life is supposed to look like and said that experience that’s a very that’s that’s always going to be a personal experience for anybody and it’s going to look different for everybody and I’ve got to say that was that was fairly recent in my life and I honestly don’t know that I that I really knew Kali was before that I had an idea I had a deep reverence for her but I wasn’t touched by her in quite the same way as I was when I allowed myself to go into this experience and allowed myself to say yes I’m okay I’m okay with my dad so just to sort of Jump Ahead a little bit I think there are a lot of different ways to really make a connection with her to get in contacts but I do think that one of the quickest route is is Ayahuasca if if any of your listeners are so inclined it seems to be kind of a direct a direct line to her and and I think

tpp-54-pic In this episode I’m joined by M.F.P. and we discuss the need for a shamanic revolution in the porn industry. I read my press release introducing a new “shamanic porn” genre starting with the recent release of the Tantradelic Exorgasm music video.

I break down the meaning behind the title and lyrics of the track and I provide an intensive intro to sexual and psychedelic shamanology.
