Reflections and Predictions on the Evolution of Music Industry Technology TPP242

Tantra Punk Singing Live

In this episode I share reflections and predictions from my experience of the evolution of music industry technology, excerpted from a academic research interview

My (non-verbatim) notes:

TP: Creating record albums on vinyl with indy punk bands, some times on labels, sometimes 100% diy

have had experience of difficulties, as a very strict very purist indy artist, wanted to avoid bar codes, distributes, anyone who’d want to control you creative direction

getting you hooked on hype

bands renting big tour buses, fancy hotels, their in debt with the label, they lose the right to perform with their name

didn’t have any of those horror stories to that extent, but experiences I had sometimes selling out a little bit to the labels and the music industry, it’s an asymmetrical deal

the sports player who gets their checks is rich, but the person who writes their checks is wealth

if you’re the talent or player or whatever you are that’s generating this ecosystem of wealth around you, always replaceable by whatever’s up and coming next

if you’re not making them money hand over fist, your music gets tossed in the bargain bin, that was the brick and mortal experience before things got super digital

different forms of financial abuse and exploitation, deal end deals, contracts not being honored, music being bootlegged

when you’re sold to have higher hopes but you don’t get the backing that you’d thought you’d get

melting down of band relationships, smart contracts are apt

blockchain tech and facilitate more autonomy and more decentralization, really have more disintermediation between artists and their end user audience, their fans

this technology of smart contracts can create more returns and more yields, more control of royalties, management, intellectual property rights management through smart contracts

a lot of disputes, drama, heart breaking madness when bands form and they all start out as college buddies, high school, garage band, resistant to notion of creating contracts to split up ownership

it’s a myth that if you engage in a contract you’re assuming an adversarial relationship, it’s like when people don’t do prenuptial agreements, happens in bands all the time, really ugly to the point where several bands are using the same name like a forked blocked chain, lot of drama, problems

when you want to bring in a studio musician or side person, can’t afford representation

once a smart contract gets written in code, it can get duplicated, modified, iterated upon

all that stuff is unfolding pretty rapidly

I’ll probably make it into the early adopter bracket, but I’m relying on geeks, developers, want to be in first generation of early adopters, enthusiast for technology

last time I toured with a band, we had a pay with bitcoin option

evolution of stable coins, dai, maker dao, really gonna facilitate solving a lot of early problems that ethereum dapp developers being

one of the most exciting them for me about it is you can resolve and prevent disputes, sit down with collaborators, and say are we gonna go in equal rights per contributor, you might say, the drummer doesn’t write melodies, or lyrics, but we have the creative solidarity, since it’s not just a cult of the front person, there’s a place for that too, for example a band every body wants to value each other’s input equally

thanks to bitpay you can do ethereum payments, a lot of this stuff can work along side or parallel, payment to smart contract, can split percentages to each member

talent buyers at clubs, be just like making a paypal payment or swiping a card, as an artist you could make a statement by going full crypto

if its not direct crypto payments, this band is going to funnel our payments, from all revenue streams, have it all go into a smart contract, still have accountant, still have legal advice

security of immutable blockchain, better to say corruption resistant

people embezzle, people pocket money, some people feel they deserve more

they creep up, a lot of resentment kills bands, how many bands could you save if you were able to preclude 99.9 percent of the drama that happens over sharing resources

M: do you think this is a solution that would really change or help music industry, goes to apple, then to record label, is there a big need for an instant royalty payment

TP: yeah, that’s a great point, I’d say that’s absolutely critical where we get to the point where Andreas Antonopolis, I think he coined, at least the first time I heard the word, basically called it streaming money if we get to that point where for example, some miracle of governance makes it possible for one of the competing blockchains to facilitate lightning speed peer to peer transactions, that don’t get bottlenecked like ethereum network and crypto kitties

sometimes perverse incentives with confirming transactions and blocks, for general listening audience, at this stage of development, early stage, a long lag time, when there’s more use the system gets less efficient, it doesn’t scale, the way we’re used to

we want to get to this state of streaming money, micro payments and splitting up in multiple recipients via smart contracts, within next year or two is my guess, legal contracts that hold water

let’s say you’re a band and you’re on the road, and you already tapped out your advance for the recording, you went out of pocket, you’re out there on the road, like a start up that doesn’t have seed funding, if you’re vehicle breaks down, or you gotta bail out one of your members because they were plastered and started tearing up the hotel room or something, or you have to buy them drugs, if you had streaming money, we just did a great performances, numbers are going up, people sharing music, posting videos, some platforms do have faster payouts, but the older school gears of processing payments

it would be great, for established bands, they could have a really good run putting out a chart topping single, then the growing pains of success can kill the band, they can break up on the first tour, being a touring musician is more stressful than people appreciate, the toll, lack of sleep, road food, immune system depressed, swabbing the country for new strains of colds and viruses

M: for streaming money, artists don’t get paid enough right now, one big question, is it because we as a consumer, buyer of music, 2019 everyone is streaming, I don’t see anyone buying a cd, everyone knows , are the platforms giving themselves too much money, or we as consumers are not willing to pay that money

TP: honestly I’m not in a position myself to say, I would like to believe that in the ecological economics, I’d like to believe that less brick and mortal less physical materials, not as clean and green as you would like it to be, going treeless, but what about all the electricity, not accurate to assume not having a physical product and going digital, trade offs on both sides, I’d like to study that, if we assume going virtual and going digital is going to reduce the foot print of all the petroleum record albums that were printed, you don’t have to fill a landfill with an mp3 that went out of style

I’m grateful for the work that the centralized platforms have done, VC funded, I know soundcloud had a really hard time at certain points, have an appreciation for tech start up business cycles, don’t want to demonize, it’s an invitation what those entities have done, people who want to make more peer to peer open source

hacker mantra, information should be free, I consider myself, if I was Metallica, I would not have sued Napster, in that sense I appreciate that infrastructure, to create these powerful file distribution systems, but if we can reclaim the hacker ethic around that, just like bit torrent did, evolving, paraphrase Andreas, history of internet history of blockchains, if you regulate the centralized platforms, you end up forcing the evolution of people creating ways to work around that are headless

crypto, we can do our own peer to peer unstoppable versions of sharing value, intellectual property rights, sharing media, more on side of creating solutions and not protesting the problems,

why should they be charitable, let them be as predatory as they want, it will just push indy coders,

M: is it still too slow

TP: it depends on the use case, the transaction price on ethereum, the gas price, you have to pay to execute a smart contract, micro payment, peer to peer, alice pays bob one penny as a tip, for whatever the service is, if I release a track for free, if someone wants to give a .5 cent tip and it’s gonna cost a dollar, still not at a point where those micropayments are facilitated

Ameen Soleimani, pioneer developer for state/payment channels, lightning fast micropayments, that can sync up to the base layer, you have to be really advanced, and pay developers a lot of money, its just such a new technology, eventually there will be a more affordable way to develop custom apps, but hey right now if you can do that stuff, you’re gonna get paid really well, he’ll be one of the ones to facilitate that

to answer more directly, depending on your use case, let’s just say micro payments are a ways off for end users to just have some front end app, where you say hey band mates less do different rights on our tracks, that level of granularity, we’re gonna get there, but after side chain, or state channel, payment channel technology, wider range of developers

M: if a broader spectrum of programmers will get into the market, the price will sync

TP: for sure, that’s why there’s so much fighting between the different blockchains, because developer mindshare is the most precious resource and commodity, people with skin in the game, if you have skin in the game with EOS then you want developers to be very nationalistic and tribalistic with their allegiance to the code of that chain

I feel most beholden to ethereum community, even though other alternatives have been in development, not investment advice, its spirit, it’s origin story, I do believe that perhaps with ethereum 2.0 advancements we’ll get to the point where the cost of doing the computations for smart contracts will be more efficient, it was created for platform for decentralized applications

no body is used to increasing ethereum gas limit to process activity on apps, it’s all gotta be tucked under the hood

very much a premium to be in that first wave of technology, I believe in it for sure

M: erc20- explain

TP: that token standard has been prerequisite

bitcoin and ether are not stable coins,

because of the erc20 token standard, ether is like the parent currency, and the erc20 is a child of that currency, but it has independent features, total supply, other parameters for programmable money

bitcoin is programmable money, but very limited, helps reduce attack surface, makes it less easy to hack and corrupt

eth, far more programmable, large attack surface, necessary as another experiment to push limits of programmable money

erc20 had to be created to create subnetworks of value, so anybody can make you’re own token

as the SEC provides more guidance, you could be a registered securities offering with your band, don’t want to use ICO, scams and fraud, before bubble in 2017, very excited about projects tokenizing artists, and bands, so you could have this potential buy in, built in crowd source funding

used to be called the street team, because cyber street team, and now there can be blockchain stream team, incentivized to hold your token

more pertinent use case, artists and fans and music industry at large, you wouldn’t want to have a whole elaborate scheme of smart contract payments bein g made with ether, being what the payouts would be in, youd’ want to use a stable currency

I didn’t want to use centralized stable coins, the maker dao, closer to the spirit of decentralization, crypto anarchy

that’s the thing that’s got to be baked in, probably going to be dai

don’t know when that announcement will be made, viable because stable coin

M: technology right now is overly hyped, major barriers still have to overcome, blockchain will still be there

TP: I do believe there is a place for hybrids between old system and new system, people say there should never be something called a private blockchain, the sewer rat and the bubble boy, if you’re not a public blockchain, being attacked, you’re not building the armor of being open to the web, like a sewer rat, contrast that with bubble boy who didn’t have an immune system, private intranet blockchain, your’e not evolving, updating libraries, hodge podge of kludgey contractor code, unpatched supply chain code that could already be comprised, the security of open source

more eyes on code makes the bugs shallow

what needs to have blockchain and what doesn’t what needs that level of security and what doesn’t

some people describe ethereum as the slowest most expensive computer on earth, feature not a bug, if you want to more security and reliability you should be able to pay for premium, expect to happen on distributed network around the globe, for now we’re accepting those factors as being the cost of taking a step away from the big data hubs of centralization

depends on what you’re trying to do, I believe there’s a place for private blockchains, for internal auditing of record keeping, inventory, in some ways safer not to be connected to the internet, offline ledger or record of state changes, air gapped from the rest of the internet, while considering sewer rat and bubble boy thesis, best way I’ve heard it described

you don’t have to put everything on blockchain, degrees of centralization vs decentralization in the technology stack

base layer could be bitcoin or ethereum, private protocols running on top of that and anchoring back to that

all kinds of ways, on a vertical stack, tie in either above or below our use case, or app, up or down or sideways, don’t think it’s an either or

centralized database vs blockchain

I don’t think we’ll move everything onto the blockchain

there have been horror stories with the dao hack, rolling back the chain, ethereum classic, bitcoin bitcoin cash, no body wants to build their business on these fault lines of male ego conflicts

I don’t want to be the one out there trying to convert people to something that’s not mature enough to be trusted

I developed a relationship with a guy who was early in bitcoin, onboarding third world villagers, sincere desire to bank the unbanked, while he was rolling out his project, bitcoin price fell by 50 percent, can only imagine the look on his face, and those who he got excited about it, all that explaining you have to do, already been in small version of that

M: if blockchain technology can foster trust and transparency is it then possible that trust in technology, could help building up or opening up networks, to connect people better, do you think blockchain technology shifting away intermediaries, peer to peer network, helping creatives to create a better social network

TP: we’ll get to the point where the end user app interface, within a few years, you could program an app by pressing buttons on a gui, you could do millions of dollars worth of smart contract language writing when the tools are built up to a point, and the libraries of code, you can do a custom blockchain for going out with friends to a bar, to split the tab, the way you can gamify everything, if you’re in a band, and you can create an app for every show on that tour and that app for that show, the people in the audience are gonna rate the performance of the member of each band and get paid in real time based on performance, immediately increase the energy, you are gonna get paid extra on top of your per deim, based on the audience rating your performance in real time, making eye contact, audience will have a dial on the app, that app that could be program not be getting 500 million dollars of venture capital, just by downloading that app

there was a time basically you had to install tcp-ip into windows, if you wanted to use the internet, now you’d never think twice

we’ll get there, that’s gonna be the sweet spot, where anybody can program a smart contract

Dancing with the Shadow vs. Light-Washing Dark Truths with Matthew Schultz TPP204

Play

Matt Shultz Pic

In this episode I’m joined by Matthew Schultz, a distinguished multi-media artist, musician and ceremonialist with a vast array of experience in both modern dark ambient experimental music and traditional shamanic ritual and ceremony.  I discovered his work recently via the Psychedelic Salon podcast episode 607 and realized we have a lot in common. On parallel paths, we’ve both been evolving from unguided musical shadow practice, to seeking shamanic ceremony, and integrating higher consciousness and vibration based on our sonic discoveries and revelations.

We get to learn about his unique and adventurous music career, his diverse shamanic initiations and his personal struggles with reconciling music, medicine, magic, and the archetype of the sacred trickster.

We also commiserate on the rampant plague of “spiritual-bypass” and “light-washing” which keeps many in the new age scene from confronting dark truths within themselves, their spiritual communities, and beyond. We discuss the need to integrate a shamanic perspective an astral ecology and develop a modern scientific framework to understand astral parasites.

He provides a much needed catharsis for those who have been tip-toeing on the egg-shells of spiritual correctness. It was an exquisite joy to be able to compare notes and share many deep healing laughs about the state of the world.  A moderate dose of cynicism is counter balanced by a heroic dose of divine love and light that is truly contrasted by a clear gaze  into the dark abyss. Ultimately we share great positivity, hope, and enthusiasm for an ever more enlightened future as old paradigms melt away and the psychedelic movement moves towards more of a “localvore” approach to cultivating and harvesting medicine species.

About Matthew:

Matthew John Schultz is a multimedia artist, musician, inventor, sculptor and indigenous practitioner. He was a founding member of Pigface and the dark ambient band Lab Report that included such diverse musicians as Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, and Lydia Lunch. Schultz also invented the A.T.G. or Anti Tank Guitar and utilized this instrument with both bands. In total, Schultz has appeared on over 29 cds with 9 solo productions and 2 feature film soundtracks (Ivan’s XTC and Snuffmovie) for Hollywood director Bernard Rose.

In 2010, Schultz manifested the esoteric and ancient fraternal order of The Division which reconstructed ancient spells and rituals. Mantras is the first in a trilogy of discs that express all aspects of The Division. Matt’s latest release is Mandalas. This album contains binaural beats and tones to aid in meditation and dream states.

Matt has also spent time in Peru working at an Ayahuasca healing center as a facilitator. He has worked with Lakota elders for over a decade and was initiated by Mayan elders in 2010. He is a water pourer and peace pipe carrier. He continues to be involved in indigenous medicine ceremonies of many varieties and runs sweat lodges outside of Chicago, Illinois.

Com and our journey together will begin podcast episode number 204 I’m being joined by Matt Schultz and he is really a jack-of-all-trades and nygma and an Intrigue to me now discovering his work based on the 2nd of ixalan podcast and he was on a on an episode recently that I heard in a really it really piqued my interest because we have a lot of residents in common ground in the extreme and underground and experimental music scene he’s got work in the pig face send lab report and he’ll tell us all about his his music scoring and soundtracks and really being a doing his sort of wizard witchcraft Alchemy in that space and also evolving into a someone who is Shaman escorts Shaman assure someone work within that those ceremony around tonight in that I weren’t just want to make an extra note to say that I feel like they’re I know you know that being in the various different scenes and Circles of of Ceremonies that there’s there’s definitely a cohort that is kind of post music industry or sort of post kind of not maybe some rock stars but definitely lots of just different people who been in the underground in the extreme music genres who find their way to ceremony either through their own rehab and Recovery or true just now getting bored what’s happening on stage in the entire world is a lot of paths that lead to it but it’s beautiful always to see the transformation of one’s people get switched onto sacred frequencies and toning chakras and 432 and cymatics I mean that’s that was my Story 2 of of having aha moments about understanding music and in in sound healing and want to be part of more than the solution unless it the Prof of somatic we speak and say I can’t wait to hear all about you and your journey it sounds like we do have a lot in common and I and I hurt and I do I’ll put a link to that that episodes people can catch up on that too but but feel free to just tell us all about your your your Evolution musically and spiritually and we’ll go into some of the issues that are going to give us a funny show title and we’ll reveal that later that’s great thank you so much for having me on it really is an otter and just chatting with you beforehand it’s true it there’s this it’s nice finding a resonant frequencies amongst people you know and it would this would be great talking to you so thanks again thanks for having me on. Yeah it’s it’s interesting cuz it has been a long path man is been a long path and I would say most kind of go back to the beginning here I did a lot of experimental film work when I was really young and started doing it because I’ve been thinking about this a lot to bring us up together podcast I wasn’t interested in playing music as I was in creating tones and I didn’t even know this is a kid and I remember buying this guitar and I would tip is Kemah stats and I clip them on like the second string down and stay like the top thing was like no Daddy right and I would use my fingers in the end of the hemostat and then like kind of isolated so that I can add to take the string in a Perpetual drone you know and I was completely fascinated by this capability of just creating these drone Tonk Central Illinois in the country I had no idea you know this is a long time ago and said it was his idea that I wanted a creepy stones and I was completely unaware of why I want to do that right but I I put headphones on these just monolithic drone tones and now I’m looking back on it I really do think that was like this this had to be a thing where I was affecting like the root chakra is it could be that the second chakra I’m trying to do something depending on my bike tuning then you know and without even knowing what I was doing and I think of years later that led then to the construction of the antitank guitar and I built this large stringed instrument and it had 10 strings on a basically the six were the same spacing is guitar in the other four were is the same spacing is a bass guitar instrument was 8 ft long and had a bridge 5ft the bridge to bridge is 5 feet and you know I use 18 gauge like string wire you know to the crate tones with this tank and again I was more about creating two things one would be like the tone and then the other would be that I retrieve these atmospheres to again you know what that time I had my own kind of definition of what I was doing but now looking back on it it was really just steadfast Shadow practice you know I mean with the other two band members we were creating pretty horrific sound Fields Miss I would put it and that really struck me as I was capturing the the collective unconscious of American culture and it was listen to it back it would be just absolutely horrific you know so again and I don’t even mention his name of the podcast a lot of that shadow practice was a form of catharsis for me it was cathartic and I wanted to listen to kind of go like holy cow you too let’s move away from this again it was okay Oka right like the sacred clown you know what I’m talking about the Hellcat a sacred clown like a Lakota sacred clown it’s it you know I do things that you shouldn’t do or the opposite of what’s normal to tell you what is normal like don’t do this right so so anyway I kind of sick think some of that early a shadow practice was exactly that you know it was creating this just nightmare horse Cape that could express to The Listener we’re not to be you know in a in a strange way and mind you this way predates like any new age you know we’re talkin like 80s New Age movement was extremely small back then are virtually unheard up you know the whole thing about total therapy and chakra tones and stuff like this was just completely unheard of so again I think it was a lot very intuitive practice which we can talk about later to like getting into chaos magic in this kind of following your intuition so I did that and then Martin Atkins from pigface he was in a different band at the time uniform pick base and he came to me was sitting form in this project you want to be involved and of course I did they were industrial Roxbury Chicago you know we’re talking 90 now it’s very Chicago Industrial Rock Ministry was just really keep getting into before men and by 91 or two we put out the first bass records that went on tour with that and again I really wasn’t too interested in in I mean I like industrial music and stuff but I was really there to do kind of this sustained tonal in a 18 minute intro for the show and I always considered it like a magic spell that we’re putting on the audience so they are like I have Sheltie do that spell will have them build it up and then they would come out and do their spells right and so I did that for a while and then after that I started working with Bernard Rose who did the movie Candyman and he was doing some Independent films now we’re in the late 90s by this point again I’ve been putting out solo records this whole time and I started doing horror movie soundtracks for him I mean directly did snuff movie and some tracks on iTunes ecstasy it said it was fun and I think that was probably more the conclusion of that kind of style of music you know that formative years let’s say and give it a little break its mid-2000s now I’m starting to hear about sacred medicines and Ayahuasca and frequencies all the stuff starting to come to fruition or at least to me and let’s see by 2007 I started working with Lakota Elder in Southern Illinois and doing sweat lodges and learning to be a fire tender or being a fire tender and learning to pour lodges and I did that for years and then I hooked up with some Mayan elders and spent a couple years on and off in Guatemala and Mexico with the Mayan Elders learning from them doing Thomas Carl’s there and and then one day they’re like Hayward initiating you and it was the Frog medicine and that had to be panically the most intense experience I’ve ever had like I helped you might really made Ayahuasca look like marijuana to in my definition that was very potent and it wasn’t necessary the Frog medicine as much as it was the datura they use a lot of datura and I and again posthumously so to speak I found out through research on the back end really what was going on to some degree with their medicine practices and I started practicing with some Shaman so Iowa skero’s here in the states that were from Brazil travel the world with them walk the Camino ended up in Peru working at Ayahuasca Center outside of Iquitos and now I’m back and I pour sweat lodges and I’m writing a book that’s a cautionary tale about sacred medicine in indigenous practices so there you go that’s that’s the nutshell awesome so yeah I I love hearing about all this and just to give the listeners a visual I looked it up on Wikipedia The anti-tank guitar I believe I can imagine you named that because it looks like a missile launcher A and B that seriously the the low bass tones I would use the woven garage door cable like in your garage that makes the garage doors go up and down right so woven cable and I have these humbucker pickups you know I mean we would use that like we would tour and and we would have you bring I forgot what a writer at it was like what they faced it was something like whenever 618 dual subwoofers and we would marry that up to the house system and I just push everything of the house system up to theirs you know what I mean in the end if people didn’t you know like we get there to a show at the venue and a promoter do you like you know who this is common to we can give you what you wanted what you going to do not play you know it’s a lot of times I can hold you captive and I remember a sound guy would go like mad can you go up there and Sanchez sound check that atg just a straight electric guitar right but these subspecies low bass strings for subsonic I mean I can and so what I do is I would use this knurled rod and I would agitate the screen again all the way back to my childhood right I would add to take the string and it would sound like somebody had a Nebo you know that the vibrating magnetic vibrating device for guitar strings one of their tops and so they would throttle the PA and then every time they be like that you know that Michael could you hit the low in and I would slap that bottom string and it would just shut the Pas off everything else this is total true story First shows we did with it I believe Houston or Dallas where were the Butthole Surfers were from and we were opening up is when the only time we opened up her cuz we’re headlining act but we opened up for the Butthole Surfers and it was a sold-out show it’s been you five thousand people there and you know that they come to you to go to your introspect I feel like I mean this is one of the first live shows in front of thousands of people I’ve ever perform on stage and I might start my interest very high and I could have taken almost minutes before I get to these lohit beats right well it’s so loud that I can hear it on stage which you know it’s musician a lot of things you can only hear your amp early on stage kiss the Pas in front of you right it’s very hard for you to be absorbed in the Pas on cuz if you worry about getting back anyway right I remember that it was so loud that all the pedals of everybody’s effects on the floor of the stage we’re literally bouncing across the stage and I absolutely I just knew I was like man this is going to end up happy in Guelph and I hit that low strength and it shut down the entire PA I mean like and I are sound asleep hoping he was like that every single switch is just to shut it the whole thing off right they had to repower it up and the audience of course. She know cuz I’m building up this energy right and I’m starting a load going for these guys just Rising drone and it came back on it had to be like 1/3 the volume and yeah they say stuff some of the stuff I’m working on now is the idea of being completely engulfed in that sound you know yeah man things I want to talk about regarding your the music all the tech some of the technical musical stuff and then get into the the medicine work where I think is it it really there’s going to be a lot of fun fun stuff in there but I’m curious so you this is something that for me I didn’t discover this but it came basically like a modern tantric yoga Guru figure came into my life the way that Tyler Durden came into the life you know in that movie and it was very a very ballbusting authoritarian smash your Paradigm you know rubbing your face in your own shit kind of initiation with that type of personality but he was a classic like a very well-respected music industry equipment manufacturer like he was basically making old-school analog equipment because he believed so strongly that the digitization of all the music was really not only just bastardizing at a dumbing it down but actually like destroying the the safety the sacred healing properties and he discovered that by studying cymatics so when he showed me the same out of scope videos was years ago now that was became what what I wanted to start tuning everything to my voice my instruments you know and then straight going down at 4:30 to kind of conspiracy rabbit rabbit hole and I got to know yet what your story of 432 and cymatics how that has has played out for you if those things as if you had some some aha moment along the way where you you know I have that kind of initiation of Sonic vibration initiation if you owe rudimentary aspect of it you know they teach you in these these cuz I like cello bows and the ebo to generate Perpetual drone it’s right and but again this is before I knew all this stuff so to me in retrospect you know it’s too bad I didn’t know what I know now because those intros could be like they would be much more of a man a true magic spell in the sense of you know if I have all the notation you know if they are like it’s it’s the standard C D E F sharp GA chakra from root chakra all the way to the crown chakra right so you could cycle the people through which is what I do in my sweat lodges with singing bowls so unlike the Lakota my my Lodge is Multicultural so I bring some lakotas the Mayan some other stuff and my singing bowls and I’ll spin through those chakras in the sweat lodge and so to me that’s kind of like part of that that journey travel right for the for the participant are you going to just cleaning house in the way while also being in the lodge know when the cymatics came around and again I can’t even tell how long ago that was when I when I ran across that do you know of a Buchanan I just oh my god I think I’m going to have to double-check the name Buchanan yes sound healer that actually invented like a machine that can selectively locate you whatever your cancer and then he’ll find the appropriate frequency to destroy that cancers out of Reno Nevada right and so I’m sorry to Robert Buchanan yeah I had gone out to Reno with some friends to visit him cuz they knew him and he took us to his laboratory and I mean he literally wrote the book on cymatics and somatic sound healing right and he’s got a spa so they’re in Reno and he’s also a conductor of the orchestra that means a really fascinating man and he kind of these little things of water and then he was coming up with all the somatic shapes and stuff in this is the first time I’ve seen this and it was after very recently after my Mayan experience so you know I was so blown open from that experience that I when I came back from Guatemala I was making all these mandalas and what I was doing was kind of incorporating the actual visual cymatic quality of the sound wave depending on the notation into the mandala so that if you listen to the song This is the eventual goal this if you go to my mandalas project if you go to match.com you can go to the mandala then and that’s called like or you can go to the actual website the mandala event.com and what it is is it has the stomach that was that I made and songs that they wrote using binaural beats which is also another thing we can talk about but it also uses of cymatics so like for instance I have the chakras as a visual cymatic poster a graphic that I created right and then you can listen to that notation at the same time and to me that’s a meditative practice that drives it all the way home because you’re forcing the visual as well as those are all right well that’s what they want for their supposed to be what you want isn’t mantras together right yes cool man well that’s amazing so and then it’s for the people who are not aware of cymatics in the same a task open this whole science do you can you put it in into your words I don’t think I’ve ever mention that I may have mentioned before on the show but but it’d be great to have you kind of give it an intro overview on what that is how I know I’m not an expert on any of this the idea is that Whatever frequency that you’re broadcasting right it’s going to create a like I say if you put water down or sand on a metal plate that’s one device that they’ve created it’ll create a visual representation right of the sound wave and so to me it worked more with like the hidden messages of water that in Moto but you know this idea that like your language creates a frequency that the water is reciprocal can receive okay so this gets into magic than this whole idea of like Abracadabra write these ideas of magic so you’re creating frequencies that the liquid will literally take on a physical representation of that frequency right so that gets you back to what you were talking about what she was like before 3 to tuning is the correct tuning for health and Universal well-being as opposed to what I and I get I don’t even know what the other what tuning do we use nelacar western or 4:40 is the Nazi conspiracy tuning that we have to go research that’s exactly right why are we here now because of 440 tuning right there’s some great documentaries are some really funny kind of spooky ones to online on YouTube but it’s it’s pretty amazing what some of these Millennials are doing with with YouTube and and fair use kind of phone hacking Montage V yeah it’s amazing some of the stuff on 432 I’ll just blow your mind in that pattern is just a visual representation in a lot of times if you do look at these different mandalas they are a visual representation of that so I can’t it I don’t know I’m not a you know I’m not a professional in this I don’t know the history of this and that you can follow it like you were actually brought that up earlier you can follow this culturally back you know to through many different cultures right yeah that’s what I’ve been told is that it’s it’s basically natural organic instruments kind of default to these to be some intervals or this December standard and he will say it’s the residents of the Earth and space safely you’re tuning yourself to the to the Earth frequency in that when when when the baddies figured out that they could create disease and agitation and disruption on the cellular level than they basically they had an elaborate conspiracy that’s pretty historically you know that you can I don’t I don’t have all the facts memorized and there aren’t there is some debate obviously about some of the more conspiratorial aspects but it’s very interesting the actual the actual what is factually known about this process that was used that was kind of a ruse like a rigged election to vote on which should be the standard tuning and the characters behind some of that rigging or people that we would think there’s distasteful character is in the history of politics it thanks but it’s interesting that yes no I mean that completely makes sense to me that completely makes the most simple emotional level like I mean I think even Beyond you know the technicality of the 4:40 or the universe has the 432 Hertz tuning horror movie you know it it’s it’s causing that this evidence that it’s not the visuals that are so horrific as much as it is the sound design you know and it don’t spoil you learn that in in your sound production companies you know our class has him so I’d say if it’s the idea that you know there is this sharp stop right and it goes to something else so which way you can almost like I could give you the laghetti or penderecki score from The Shining you know it ain’t that goes like you know it’s that pluck that’s the condo that creates this like shift in your body it startles you you know I don’t see how I mean I think that does kind of support the 440 not to see if there is a bad tuning right yeah so yeah I totally see that you know that we interesting attitude knowing that you have this the background in creating the the horror movie soundtracks can we zoom in a little bit on that and sort of what that’s a sort of bitters at that’s a ceremony of you’re creating and you’re making that music and you’re feeling into the Vibes of you know the director or the storyline and what not what would you say and I think that is it’s important that we were that’s all lessons hopefully we watch these movies and we become better people after we watch them cuz we see oh my God I’m about like two more relationships away from acting like that guy who’s the new that I almost feel like if you don’t if you don’t express your Shadow and dance with your Shadow then then obviously we’ll run you unconsciously and so I think there is a important place for for owning and in respecting these film genres even in in not trying to demonize them as it were until you have played a role in in channeling and hopefully in the air with a sense of ultimately doing good or better and are helping helping Souls evolved dino by exposing the steps I’m just curious if you could talk about like what how that felt or how that feels see you when you still into those rounds in that energy and then you allow it to possess you to create tones and and scores and stuff like that so interesting well then you could you bring up bring up a great point because I’d have to say and I’m going to dress this first while it’s fresh in my memory I dissolve lab report because there was a social because I realize you had to be responsible and I think we were being irresponsible I really do that project was completely dissolved because I thought it was being taken in the wrong direction it was being worshiped and adored when it should have been repulsive and and horrifying the people and we would you know this is back in the day before the internet right and so we had you know what y’all near album you put out that you got signed a record it was old school right we got signed to a record label I mean the first record we put out was actually final you know and and then the second record again I had Genesis Breyer p-orridge on Lydia lunch and so you know there is some big names coming in and we were creating quite a a horrific sound and we would get fan mail it stopped and I would always respond to this but quite frankly I found most of it just utterly disturbing you know and to me like the Helga II again Timbaland so empowering in really meet people where they’re at and as I’m thinking like this him in hearing you speak I feel like the if I had to explain to somebody who never heard the word Tantra before and you’ll people ask me to clients and we’re not where should I begin and what should I read and certainly there’s I really enjoy Urban Tantra by Barbara carrellas and also the jewel in the Lotus and also the complete idiot’s guide to tantric sex this one ever had I’m waiting for this I’m waiting I’ve been waiting for something like this every time yeah I just praise here at your style and approach and I really think the what it brings together is it just these two words kind of came to me these two terms just like that the self-help genre and the self-help movement is something that is sort of its kind of made fun of or it’s not it’s not really taking totally seriously or it’s kind of like oh yeah you’re there something wrong with you and if you were normal you would you would not need to go that route so it’s kind of like a weird thing where you might you might lose respect for yourself even by questioning that or thinking what am I to you having a midlife crisis I don’t need that you know what is going on but then with Tantra it’s so there’s such a almost like a martial arts kind of level of self-mastery and self-discipline I really is the sort of Jedi training and I think you bring that you sent the size those two for me those two opportunities where it’s like yeah you you’re actually using courage and bravery and becoming a warrior but then you’re doing all this really touchy feely deep emotional work and that should that should take care of people’s hesitation to go either on a warrior path or on a more self-help spiritual path that gives you your compelling people to take both and for when men I think they they seek that out maybe they seek the warrior path more than the spiritual path but there’s I think there’s a lot of marketing and hype around that for men but this is really good tip for a loved one country women’s use the word Fierce and they invoke that that energy and they Empower femininity with with that those archetypes so could you talk maybe a bit about what that means to you the that just reconciling masculine or feminine Shiva Shakti really kind of bringing these tools of of strength and resolve and discipline to two women who may be of this been crushed by patriarchy you know for Generations oh yeah that’s a big question right there yeah and that’s I mean being crushed by Peter I came that’s definitely why I wrote the book and I actually why you were talking I just wanted to mention that I have a section on their on you know telling women to how to stop denying that masculine energy or also men love because I find that you know because you know a lot of the women I work with the idiot had just bad experiences with men or with times that they’ve stepped into their masculine energy and so they’ve just been very hurt by it and then they sort of backed away from it and you know I try to work with them on you know it’s about housing balance of Both Worlds and really understanding what the masculine is and also the ways in which masculine and men have been disempowered you know and really starting to take ownership of that you notice a lot of times women are like you know when I start bringing in the masculine they’re like okay I know I bet that’s like to heavy like that kind of energy that they don’t want to work with that energy and they don’t want to explore that energy and so I say okay you know there’s there’s no pressure and there’s no rush cuz you got to do what feels right to you and a lot of time they seem. Just by like stepping in to do that feminine energy because it is fierce right it is courageous it is powerful like you said there is not Warrior quality to it I’m still by simply die do something like this to summon and energy you actually calling up you know those masculine aspect you’re calling up that strength that where your strength at the same time without really realizing it so unconsciously and and you’re bringing those forces them to bounce and I’ve seen that a lot of times with women that I’ve worked but I’m really like surprised at how the feminine wild like this actually you know it’s soft there is softness in the feminine but as you claim it and as you’re able to fearlessly stick with that and embrace set and embodying it naturally you know.. Here’s mess. Power starts to rise time to help stabilize their energy and so it’s pretty much really a magical thing it’s pretty amazing and so I have this part in my book about you know how to really heal yourself from what you thought maybe you know how house Gary masculine energy might be some time I’m sure there are practices that really going to that and yeah and then that’s really a big part of my work to because a man I mean we are in need of some major balance here on this planet and in this life in this world so I really feel the more that we can Embrace anybody and I’m leaning into the feminine that is rising right now in the more we can scan with that the more that we can make space for on the masculine to heal and balance and a bike ride but like Reno really hot like it in excess right but Valance in such a way that it kind of comes down to meet the famine in so that this beautiful kind of dance can emerge Amor Harmony and that would just make such a huge total impact and we just within the body the container of one individual body being able to fuse and merge those energies so powerful yeah I’m really is why I do what I do awesome yeah I can say from experience from the first couple of experiences and session work that I experienced with you then I really got I was able to feel the force so you know that if we’re going to be using that Jenna archetype you know in in there if you want to call Kundalini Shakti goddess energy which is I love calling I love I love hearing of Kundalini as a salmon in force and you were the one who activated that for me and it was just very unusual yeah I remember like it was yesterday and so I appreciate it in you you can get really philosophical and really theoretical but grounding everything into practices to make it as a workbook almost it sounds like this is amazing so you and it’s something that has to be felt in the body to really know what it is yeah it’s hard it’s hard to find words nothing will thank you for all that great work do you feel kind of complete as in that in this kind of brief introduction but but pretty I think it’s a pretty good overview I definitely thrilled to to go deeper with it and others will be as well so I wanted to give the bulk of this episode to this important news of promoting and getting the word out about the book and then but also address questions that I’ve had as a sort of I’ve become a sort of meta Godparent to a lot of different mothers who were rebranding as independent mothers who are in various stages of Court battles with baby daddies for custody and for child support and and I’ve just checking on this sort of I decided I’m not going to reproduce biologically all of my vasectomy but I will reproduce culturally by my being short playing that that more of a Shimano roll in peace and also keeping a little bit of distance from that that this is a an ancient sword of time tree thing of if you are not to be the guru per se but to be an Adept you may have to disengage from householding because there’s just so much mundane kind of learning and things you got to sit through so your country path is always going to be kind of a balancing act between how much of a household are you going to be and what roles are going to have within a community and then how far out you get to go on your own into your mystical practices so I have taken that past of offsetting my my familial obligations a bit so that I could study things from afar and then just go to be this force of will hopefully an Angelic sort of force supporting women who are in different degrees of Crisis that’s just a little bit of a of a context for why it’s important for me now to reconnect with you in a n n learn from you and share your teachings about Tantra parenting the pattern that has been emerging in the question is being asked of me and the view is is how does a woman who has just recently given birth and going through all these different chemical changes and hormonal changes how do you what’s the advice on keeping that spark of love and attraction alive with the baby daddy partner what are some some tricks and tips that you would recommend for for that really critical bonding you know six segments of Life first of all I’m not going to lie. I think the first thing to do is I mean really too kind of except that it’s not going to be the same but. It’s actually you know like I said with you know what having kids how you’re able to look at the things that really matter to you that was so when you actually are with your partner and you have those moments you know they might be less but we are going to be amazing because you are fully present and you’re showing up each moment you know and the end of a lot of for me it’s like when I first became a mom so I had my first son and it was really hard I was just like what cuz I was Dino stole so focused on your child and really wanted to be there to nurture that I and you are you know you’re you’re so deep into it into motherhood and it’s so new everything is so new and exciting and exhausting but I am in a few months I was just like oh my gosh like how how does this work how do we make this work and it was really really difficult very difficult but I found that by you know because I’ve had my kids almost 8 years now until I found that really what we eat sometimes you know if if we need to say like make an appointment with each other and that’s what we have to do if we have to put it on the calendar they okay these are the the two or the three days a week that were scheduling for ourselves for intimacy for connection then that’s we’re going to do that first there was a struggle because my husband’s like okay this isn’t sexy yo after he got over that initial thing it was like okay like we can do this we can make time for this we can we can be intentional about it for us really had to do that because not only was it you know hard navigating with kids now but also the work you know work in the balance of that it was just really tough so that was one of the things that we did the other thing that I want to say is that sometimes you know you you have good intentions but I got at the end of the day you’re exhausted and and then you just end up wanting to just sit there and whatever you want to do watch TV or you know just go to bed until I always like to say that really if you really want to keep that sparked going not to give up just because you feel like okay you know I don’t have that energy right now or I don’t have the time to put into this right now to really see and used Contra in a way that it’s really meant to be experienced right because Todd’s are really isn’t just all about sex right and having that fat set spark Tundra is it much deeper than that and so sometimes you have to tell yourself like okay even though we don’t have time to make love right now maybe maybe it’s just about lying down next to each other synchronizing out of breath making that I contact I’m falling asleep to that I’m letting that be enough you know before you know this night or this week or whatever it is like in the beginning it’s not to really put so much pressure on yourself but to use Simple practice is like you know that you have your own position and just sitting there together and being or maybe you know it’s one night you really need a massage right now you know I really just after having a long day or a long week and be with the kids so much that’s what I really need so communicating that to your partner and really staying in touch with that and not being embarrassed or not feeling like it’s too much or too much of a burden or whatever it is just really being clear about what you deeply need I’m in a lot of that comes down to really checking in you know with yourself all the time and seeing what’s there I really feel like things like that even though you know you might be cuz it’s also self-care right so you’re able to connect with your partner in that way and then you’re also able to have that time must be nurtured and a slowing down which is also key so I think everyone is going to work differently and it’s going to be unique for all of us but it’s really about finding those opportunities to stay consistent to really stay connected in those small tangible ways and mlc really accepting that it’s okay that you know your relationship has changed the amount of time might be able to have to devote to one another Soul has changed I’m not true but you can actually take all that and evolve it into something in a lot of cases that really goes much deeper than that you know because now it’s it’s amazing you know you have this this connection and you know going through motherhood and Emma strikes that that gives you time to actually be able to take that foundation and that strength and that those nurturing abilities and that expression being able to use that with your partner in your relationship I’m having that Foundation really can make me very powerful in a way that’s unexpected just as amazing as you always bring it back to the fundamentals of the practices this is not all hot air to talk about it tell about doing it doing the work and I just feel like it makes me think that I can think of I mean I know some couples will have the foresight to at least make prenuptial agreement but I can’t think of anyone who they actually said we are going to go through the most insane trans transformation of everything we know we can if its first time parents who have no clue what to expect and they and what if they were to get these to be the eye of a storm throughout anyting that’s the Abbey unless Ty gazing the synchronized breathing you can’t touch that space with anything so but but pure Bliss and whatever does need to get work through if it’s done in that space it’s going to be conscious it’s going to be a constructive and it’s going to be a firming so I feel like it’s the what I’m hearing you say and what diarrhea firm is two people listening if you were expecting and you want to keep this container of love together and ever strengthening then start doing his practices now and know that you’re going to really rely on them it’s going to be life-and-death okay we’re just going there so I can breed all right like can’t we just do that let’s just do that next week or let’s just all of that I mean once you start doing it and engaging and you feel that present in your body and the Net Connection you have to just trust that all of that and all of that adds up and all of that makes a difference in your relationship every moment of that that time that you have on to be able to connect in that way as powerful well thank you again for bringing it back to to those core practices again you could have a lot of compliments sure there’s a million complicated bits of advice that people could give for this but this is so practical and and I just I dare people could really do it in and I don’t think you can fail you know I don’t think it’s possible to fail if you have good intentions and you do the scratches so yeah so we were getting also to your kind of making a perfect segue to the next question which is more more about the the asymmetry of responsibility and Duty specially for breastfeeding mothers and mothers to be carried to full-term and whatnot it’s it’s like there’s such a the mail investment just as how I always make this joke there probably less violence in the world is men had to breastfeed but women actually held the babies in their room still so imagine that you wouldn’t be off to go into war and using weapons and guns and swords that she had breastfeeding on demand for whatever after 5 years income that would be great that leaves man with such an unfair and balance of freedom and privilege to not be bound to the those tasks so a lot of women are rightfully lamenting this sensitive of the men who are supposed to be there showing up to with the with the mother is hoping for is that yeah he’s going to go to work and put food on the table and make it so I don’t have to work hopefully or I can work you know in a way that I can still be involved in my children’s lives you know for God’s sake you know who something something not just not just the short maternity leave remind me that the CEO of YouTube is a yogini who is Hardcore advocate for way longer maternity leave or something yeah I didn’t know that I’ll send you a link to a video where it where you get to see that she’s actually really badass them she’s a fierce that ass woman who’s awake I have no idea how did you navigate and how do you recommend for women who maybe don’t have is as blessed of a of a beloved Fixer-Upper type type men how do you get them on board with really going the extra mile of of checking in about about the needs a mother you know mother would have if she is being assertive about her knees in about the new suicide where she would like how can you be humbled to her and just be asking and showing up to being serviced that’s a question that’s a really great question and I have to say that I’m really fortunate with Eric because he I mean he has just him and he is just been a tremendous support from the beginning but then at the same time it’s like I also have to do my part with him right of being very clear about I need you no because then it that this always with him you know in the beginning of special rub up against this when he just wouldn’t know you know and I would be just waiting silently expecting something but he wouldn’t really know that that was what exactly I was looking for right because for women it’s like having that ability to breastfeed and nurture and carry this baby. Room I mean just how we have those abilities so readily at hand and we know what we need sometimes it’s hard to say yeah I need this actually it sometimes it’s hard because where we can be so strong you know and we can put off the 15 so strong and like we have everything together and I know that I do that a lot of time where I’m just like yep I’m good I don’t need help I look what I’m doing all by myself I’m doing all these amazing but that really inside I’m like oh my gosh like what am I I can’t do all this by myself and just allowing your partner that opportunity like okay like this is really what I need and this is the support that I need and this is how I feel going through that and not being afraid to say I am overwhelmed right now you know and and can you please and saying this from a place of love right not from a place that judgment and like what are you doing for me and you know resenting that you know you have more freedom than me and Bubba blah and I’m here breastfeeding or whatever it is not doing it from that place but from you know from your center from a place of love like I’m I’m really overwhelmed I need help with this right now you know can you get up be up with a baby now for two hours because I only had 3 hours of sleep last night instead of just silently you know doing in that moment when you feel I mean I I just I know a lot of of moms and a lot of friends who dust will just be like okay well he didn’t you know my partner my spouse he didn’t step up and so I had to do it and then my will but did you say something and they’re like no or maybe they did say something but you know it wasn’t from that place you know of just clear intentional loving vulnerable until. I think that was one of the biggest things for me especially you know when our relationship I’m like okay and then you know my husband tries to tell me like he’s Eichler like he’s like really I want to be able to show up for you like I want to be strong for you I want you to feel good but he’s like I honestly don’t I just need to to hear it I just sometimes I need to be told or I need to be reminded because it doesn’t come as naturally to me and then show me be mindful of that and not you know not falling to being hurtful or resentful something makes me cute different do you know well that’s really really profound that that really gets to the hardest exactly what I’m seeing go wrong inside once at once that slippery slope really hard I mean it’s kids once this thing start to add up then breaking through that you’re really. It’s really snowballing and that’s your thing everything is this Noble thing I’ve seen it yet so that is great advice I think that work that I said the fly to something if x is kind of ridiculous that it reminds me of I remember seeing young young women and whatever middle school or high school and home home economics class and they will be given an assignment to have a baby doll with them for whatever and in that relationship it’s like okay honey we’re going to do what it’s going to feel like for me to be busy and need help from you and you put in your garden that would be funny if it decided to give people that sensitivity at sensitivity training cuz once it’s already ratchet up and then more expenses than what I’m seeing to notice let me know way more than I do but it’s like I don’t think I think people underestimate the cost of of multiple visits to the pediatrician a week you know it’s like figuring out food allergies and decoding the sugar all of the ways that sugar is is is surreptitiously inserted into packaged food and just it’s such a pill battle to be holistic and to be in at all so it’s just this this is all in on top of just I mean most people are just buying everything off the shelf from entertainment to toys to food to diapers and whatever it is it’s all just off the shelf but to have that effect of wanting to do better than the last Generations or to resist the marketing and be more green or whatever that’s a whole another layer of the building so you know it’s just to get more and more complicated and at the end of the day I see the women just getting ran ragged and the dudes just kind of blowing him off sadly to say but if we could he had say that actually kind of Segways a bit to another question which is and this I mean you could you could write a whole book just on this subject alone out so I don’t expect you to to go too far into it but maybe just some off the top of your head pointers and we can move along quick to know we’re getting close on time so so any suggestions for creative and educational and non-toxic toys just a few maybe went to one website or one store just don’t know anything I don’t know if I’d be the best person to ask about that because I not that they have a choice in general just because you know like all the plastic and everything I mean and we like literally their toys are like one corner of our house like a couple of containers and that’s it and they barely even play them to be honest with you I feel like the simpler the better you know I feel like I’m all about like art you know art projects you know the pain and the crayons and all the art supplies and things like that so that they can enhance their minds and use their hands that way and explore that way they’re into that but I found that you know the purchases that I made with toys throughout the years it’s like that use it and then they’re done and that’s like a big hunk of plastic sitting there are biodegradable and Wooden Spoons and then they’d be busy for 2 or 3 hours you know that they have gotten that I get them they’re like okay and then they open it and then they look at it for 10 minutes and then I end up you know it’s just a way so yes so we do more we like to do more stuff you know in nature I mean they like to play you know what they say they love gospel they love being outdoors they love Ari and they love puzzles and things like that so that’s why I hope that I hope and pray that we will all have abundant opportunities to being healthy natural environments and have plenty of more outdoor time the better cuz there’s some nature is like endless you know just being outside they’re like so fascinated by every little thing the backyard I don’t know it exactly how I like how did the people survived all of those many years ago without these big pieces of plastic and well that is exactly what I thought I hope to hear in and a very firm it if so this is another test of the last one here is probably the the most kind of universal so I don’t know if there is an answer to this question however I died would like to spend I would like to spend my golden years doing a lot more anthropological research on on foraging sigala Terry and societies before you spell hunter-gatherer societies who have basically none of the the neurotic issues that people in the modern world have and and I love to know I would like to believe that there is that there was a golden age of human Innocents where the terrible twos didn’t exist and then that we could decode that and figure out what is it more nurturing Less Talk toxins I mean is it just that there’s so much overstimulation and so many maybe you’re actually able to perceive carcinogens at that age and then you stopped being able to and that’s why I mean it could be anything less or I could just sent them know something very out of balance that’s just modern so I’m just wondering if you have if you were really idealistic about know I’m going to teach there going to be a master Yogi’s by the age of one so that the terrible twos happen though I already beat exam enough I don’t know why you if you were like I don’t know like tell me what that’s been like for you and then if you have advice for people who are in that approaching that Horizon will for me I really I really just try to go with the flow you know just so I’ll talk to style just like accepting every part of it I was just part of the the beautiful messy process of development and growth and exploration and sometimes I do know because otherwise then it’s just become so hard you know what I’m saying because you expect it is you’re going to have meltdowns right it’s not it’s not going to be easy is there at like going to be some very tough days especially in the beginning if it’s going to be hard you feel like what what am I what did I get myself into one of my hairdo evaporate the next moment you know you’re going to feel the most joy and Bliss and happiness that you ever felt like wow that’s amazing that I get to be a part of this process you know that I get to witness this human being growing and developing and it’s it’s just amazing so it’s really you know you know the whole ton truck idea of a flowing through those energy that accepting every moment no matter how chaotic and allowing those emotions and those feelings and those moments to move to you during this challenging time to witness in you know children and young children because it’s like they can like be so happy in one moment and literally within five seconds that can beat me on the floor it’s crazy right it’s like oh my gosh the wide array of emotions from moment to moment and not inhibit that till I I feel like you know it’s like wow for me initially seen that in the beginning and fidget with night was my first one and that you can just move so fluidly like this and just just like that and get so consumed by something else in another moment we just amazing to me so I think we can really take a lot of sign a lot of lessons and just being present at something to a Full Circle closed right now because what I am even before you started to reply that lesson for grown-ups really about about cycling through your full expression and not choking your body is response to a situation out and the full the full body response to a situation I was actually remember me on my phone while I remember a room full of adults it you and Eric’s condo and we were being instructed to behave like children having a tantrum so that we can feel good and actually know the nice that storm there’s like the sun and the blue sky and in the EXO baekhyun the funny faces and doing the monster dance and some just like well you’re probably realizing hits are the times of the exactly yeah it’s it’s pretty amazing to witness is there a word for like reverse parenting or something has got to be a word for the the the from children actually teaching adults what they’re forgetting and I didn’t mean well that’s really it’s a really heartwarming conversation and I feel like the people who are hearing this and who have experienced so much pain and distress that there is such a open source free to use to spend your own time studying it get this book read the book watch Roadies videos I certainly considered to be the highest resource that I like to share with folks because of the same reason they listen before adjusters I don’t feel like there is a knot a snake-oil aspect of what you’re selling and there’s not a sort of a shady ulterior motive saying a gender that I have to worry about and and I just can’t say that about that many people until I’m sure you know and I certainly feel for myself that you know I have I always want to be deferring is often as possible to sort of protect my Integrity to not be the what do they call it like the god cock Shaman is just a narcissistic people’s souls and that’s easy enough to it’s easier to take that route of that that black timeshare manipulate manipulate almost hard not to do it so I mean I’m making and I feel like we are making major effort cuz that’s the complete opposite of what you are and what you and body I mean from the very beginning so yeah no thank you I really feel like you are just I mean somebody who’s just really in there doing that you’re like doing the work you know and you like do it like with an open heart you’re just like in there and you’re talking to everybody and just creating this just really amazing platform. You should be really proud of well thank you again and again I have to say you helped start at all and one of my the first real social proof that I had was that was your gracious licensing of me to share some of the video work that we did together it’s been a blessing that go into detail but all that in that in that previous episode supposed to listen of that and I will say that we we were blessed and burden in this in this time of this episode to take to cover a good intro to the book and also to open this discussion about time to Parenting I definitely want to set the intention that in the future we will give more of a of a deep dive into your personal background and it sort of will let that be a cliffhanger to hear about your experiences early introduction of Tantra and just kind of the got your path of building that confidence and certainly the form give experience Syfy oh my God it all yeah we haven’t got into your filmography either still be there next time to say this for next time to talk about birth because yes I mean not as deep and my experience naturally delivering and doing it with Tantra as my Foundation is the only way that I said I survived it and actually enjoyed it. Arrington have the complete box set free thank you so much thank you so much for having me it was really great and most richest time in in a moment to to share this Basin and certainly yeah it’s it’s a got it just give you a big big bow down because this you were the one who helped me start this this whole journey I don’t know I don’t know who I’d be or where I’d be doing it if we didn’t have a Meeting of Minds you know so yeah I can’t believe I forgot to say this I mean you were seriously you were the first one who discovered my website you were the first one who reached out to me and one of the first that I’ve actually I will say the first that I taught that I didn’t know because I had started already like teaching but like you know friends and friends of friends but you were the first clean one like the first student I was like oh wow yeah that that walked in and like was the beginning of really that Journey so thank you I did not know that I did not realize that that that’s funny so funny I can’t believe I never told you that that’s very well so everybody just like get over your awkwardness and just represent just like bring your egg and no matter what things will come out you know it’ll all fall in place to get back to the Sam and yeah I give them my love and thank them for allowing you to to do the book and for all of the people who parted the sea so that you could get that book done and then provide provide that to us and so much more thank you I know it I just want to say thank you so much for Amy what you just what you spoke about earlier just blew me away how you been stepping up to support women and you know what your mother’s I mean you are really holding for me to space there and this is really something that you know I know that would indeed and you know a lot of them have been longing for so thank you so much for for being that person and for filling that role cuz it’s just amazing the work that you’ve been doing all these years I thank you you planning to see each other that they were they say that it’s the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree at least in the sense of the guru to train me to be a womanizing pick up artist in the name of conscience so I guess that’s why we you know gravitated toward each other There Was You know. The little like energy so I think I don’t think you would have found that path that was not your will thank you so much again yeah so much so much good vibes and good times and we will be in touch soon and and best of luck with all of your your your book emotional adventurous okay great thank you so much fun. Sexorcism the Tantric Opera Behind the Album Part 2 TPP198

Sexorcism the Tantric Opera album cover

This is a two part mini series of commentary on the making of the Sexorcism the Tantric Opera album. I explain the story and logic behind the title, and go into detail about each track’s backstory, lyrics, and context in my journey of tantric adventuring.

Part 2 has the added bonus feature of a full (yet low quality and rough mix) album preview at the end of the commentary.  I humbly ask the listener to retain a copy of the podcast files as a security measure so that a “proof of concept” version will exist and persist within the distributed listener network until I’m able to finish the final mixing and mastering, and subsequently immortalize the work with an official release sometime in the next month.

Com and our journey together will begin hello their beloveds welcome to Township hunting podcast episode number 197 this is a behind the album episode where I am going into detail about the backstory behind each of the tracks in my still as yet not fully mixed and mastered but I’m providing a rough rough mix version right now and I’m giving this spine the album Treatise if you will in a two-part at 2 part of a miniseries to cover this because something very well I have a a dual life another life is it a touring musician in a in a somewhat prominent Punk metal grindcore band and I usually keep those worlds as separate as humanly possible for various conflicts of interest are politically maybe it’s her matters and genres and things there’s there’s definitely a reason for me to have to compartmentalize the different aspects of my my life and so I don’t normally talk about it doesn’t normally come up on the podcast or in the in the world except Township Uncle though the reason Township Punk is not your pockets because I have been in bands and have been in that scene for most of my life and and it informs my spirituality so nips all that is to say that actually I’m about to go participate in that world and go and be on a tour with that van and so for me it is a best practice of data hygiene of being a scribe in an archivist for myself to say every time before I go on a tour where my from a infosec kind of perspective an operational security perspective when I go on the road and I’m touring in a band by attack surface exponentially increases for so many reasons it’s but it’s obviously you’re you’re away from your element you are exposed to all kinds of different jurisdictions you’re in the middle of all these this debauchery and bars and clubs and all ages venues and you know is violence there is a legality of all of All Sorts just in the world of being a touring musician so so basically every time in preparation for one of these Adventures I try to do my best to kind of backup and consolidate my files and really make it easy for people to follow the the breadcrumb trail and hopefully in the case of my psychedelic sexual shamanic research material for that to be easily catalog in for people to be able to if they so choose carry on with replicating my procedures and replicating a my research and experiment to study designs so the podcast has been away too too fairly neatly organized the chronology of my works and and also the music that I create is part of documenting and in its it’s really a it is the research it’s part of the packing up the research and so that’s all that is to say that what I’m doing right now with this two-part series is making a timely effort to ensure that all of the work that I put into producing these tracks which are not yet fully released in terms of being licensed for global distribution input into the finalized ultimately point of no return Masters like right now I still have some room to to remix in to fine-tune and get some professional mastering done in a Russian as a sort of emergency measure to make sure that I have something out there as my proof of concept that will outlive me should anything knock on wood goddess forbid bad happened to me out there on the road you know the sad thing is that in this world of everything being on third-party platforms and having to pay for hosting services and whatnot I were not fully there yet with the immutable unsensible black chain file storage and distribution networks are very very close. Probably about a year away from being really the the ideal solution for pressing a button and having your whole life’s work backed up in a way that can never be destroyed or forgotten or low-cost or mishandled or tampered with an altered so given that you my dear beloved listeners right now are my best and Only Hope In This Moment of immortalizing the work that I’ve done on this album sexorcism the ton truck Opera because I do not have time at this moment to finish the final Masters and get them lodged into the Matrix of the the music industry by licensing them up through CD baby and all that and I’ll distribution networks you were my best and only option for backing up this material so what I’m going to do is I’ve recorded already a few months ago when I was also in at the moment of feeling like that the walls are closing in on me and I felt the need to too well like a plant going to see if you don’t understand is if a plant would normally grow and have a nice fully is nothing but then it gets stressed by heat or or drought or something it will just bolt it will go to seed so that’s what I’m doing I’m bolting I’m going to seed somewhat prematurely here and I hope that the seeds are harvested and can be propagated from and if and if I get back from the store and everything is great and I can move on from this then then by all means you will have done a huge favor to me just by not deleting these two episodes your app if you’re using an app probably automatically deletes the files after you download them and streaming what not but if you could do me a huge favor and eventually I will be monetizing this in in incentivizing this meaning that I will find ways to pay people to maintain copies of my work but for now it’s a gift to you a free not fully polished not fully high-resolution version but on the second episode of there will be the full album in its rough mix form for your listening listening pleasure hopefully not displeasure but if you could at least hang on to that for me as a favor then we I know that all this work will not have been in vain if anything happens to me and then like oh yeah then disappears album didn’t get officially released album doesn’t exist no one knows it no one can find it whatever you have a copy of it now if you save the part 2 of the series cuz part one is just going to be the half of the album’s behind the tracks commentary and in reading and lyrics in in part 2 will be the second half of exactly that plus the full album at the end so these files are going to be slightly bigger than normal apologize for that but your again do me a huge favor so yeah with that said this is for the remainder this episode next episode you’re going to be hearing my commentary on this new album that I am about to officially release and this is the sort of pre-release secret exclusive sharing of the the material with my my podcast listener so thank you again for bearing with me and all this madness and I hope you enjoy this series and I will be continuing to publish episodes from the road and you can wish me luck on all of those Adventures out there now bringing the spirit of raw loud wild chaotic Liberation out into that that sector the punks X are so all right with us said enjoy thank you. Mistake Okay so sexorcism the tantric Opera the album recruited a title track sexorcism tantric Opera it is track number 7 we will get to it and sequence but this is sort of a another desperate Poor Man’s maneuver to Lodge this medicine into the Matrix and when this witness album is Is mastered and mixed and officially licensed and distributed into the into the actual through the publishing through the digital Distributors he’ll get it into the main centralized networks for this to be Primetime and accessible to anyone on the web what not that’s really that is a huge form of validation for for my work and the probability of me getting picked up in the I want my money back up and say that sexism the tantric Opera is the name that I came up with for what is now a series of short documentary films most of them featuring music and very prominently music as the driving force that is the Shakti that produces the induces the dance and makes the the medicine work happened it it’s it’s it’s it’s not guaranteed that then I’m going to win any awards or get into the Sundance Festival or anyting with this material and again it could be just completely lost last time so one way that I can hack the Matrix is to put out an album and album is for less than $100 through CD Baby bless their hearts and by all means if your musician you should be listening to the DIY musician podcast which is your beautiful podcast that I love and adore but so now for after all of those all of those years of frustrated desire female for musicians to ever have any actual recordings of it work let alone distribution the recordings you know now where the time where for less than a hundred bucks you can take your work and you can upload it and you can pay to have it be haven’t have the barcode haven’t get the the legal processing in the publishing and all of the rights and all the thing everything all of that extremely the width of the Witchcraft you know that it is the sort of tradecraft where all those middle people had all of that Paris attack power now they’ve I wouldn’t say it’s not cutting out to the middle people in that process so much it’s just because of Technology it’s been streamline so what I can do what what I can’t do is like very sustainably pray for the miracle that I get a lot of recognition for my video projects that is just not efficient to tip to try to to try to pray for that but what is efficient is to say okay well I can take this title this exorcism Itachi Opera I can make it into a title track of an album I can make it an album title and if I Lodge that material into the music industry then it will never go away I can die I can disappear all of my Works can can dissolve into nothingness and I have some guarantee that this the gods of the music industry will forever be archiving this material it becomes Immortal in that way so it’s it’s just it’s to me it was a tactic to adapt this this into into an album and really it’s been a bunch of scraggly as singles that have come through over the last couple of years since the first two albums were released I released both two albums I think on the same day Earth Day 2016 I was blessed while living at the at the queendom with magic fucking pussy and her to previous podcast episodes where I go into the behind the albums on those two and I go into the tracks I do exactly what I’m about to do right now but since those those albums released you know the creative Inspirations and in N pockets of death of Howard call free time but but the pocket the gorilla time that I’ve been able to put into tracking it’s put in kind of a hodgepodge of of tracks and so now we know based on the pressure that I’m under I’m saying okay I’m going to I’ve got to do this tactical thing and I’ve got to put these tracks out there so I’m going to do this album I’m going to give it the same title as the as the documentary series title and of course really these tracks are all always kind of weaving in and out of the soundtracks at my films anyway like I’m basically my own I’m doing my own scores for my own works and so is very complimentary in that sense as well but this is my opportunity to to talk about the intentionality and to give the the companion manual for navigating the tracks of this album so first I will just give the titles won by one and then I will go into each one of them and what they mean and and what they’re trying to say and how to best interact with them as an application by spiritual app musical spiritual app if you will so track number 1 ohm namah shivaya track number 2 feminist pornstars track number three you don’t need a man track number for math Archie track number 5 Enjoy the Silence track number six psychedelic goddess worship track number seven sexorcism the tantric Opera track number 8 holistic debauchery so sounds like a typical Friday night with me a handful of mushrooms and what I’m affectionately calling my new pick your poison mind I call it hard Coco like hot cocoa but hard cocoa and I’m mixing tequila which is a paleo friendly agave-based non grain alcohol mixing that with raw organic powdered cacao and Stevia and organic almond milk and creating kind of like a of liquor is a Paleo non sugar low to no carb liquor with this beautiful cacao ceremony effective opening part very very wide and Anna as you can tell opening my fucking mouth too so you know if you don’t like me hear my voice like stick your nipple on my mouth or something to show me up if you like or whatever else you got I’ll take it for the mouth is open My Heart is Open the hard Cacao is flowing I’m going to toast on the microphone right now with my jar of hard cacao take a sit I would love to be licking that off of your whatever right now okay back to business so om namah shivaya the most cliche quintessential Hindu Tantra Mantra of Devotion to Lord Shiva who you we should all know and love but I’m just going to go straight from the wiki Wikipedia here home to my shivaya is one of the most popular Hindu mantras means salutations to the auspicious one or adoration to Lord Shiva I’m just picking and choosing a bit here from the Wikipedia here this Mantra is repeated verbally or mentally drawing the mind in upon itself to Lord shiva’s infant all-pervasive presence okay now I have a place in my heart for Shiva witch it should come as no surprise that as an intercom Punk who is in Rebellion against all things patriarchal and religion I have a hard time I was it’s been easier for me to seek the goddess then to seek God in in in in even the Eastern form and Eastern forms Shiva was a soft sell to me because he’s such a fucking punk and then he’s such a baby right he is some people say you know I want to get ripped like Jesus but really you know Shiva put Jesus to shame and he and he’s a dancer and that is so important he’s a pothead he’s a weed smoking I wouldn’t it’s borderline womanizing let’s be careful about that but in all of the different stories about his his sexual exploits with women let’s hopefully giving the benefit of the doubt and you know he’s he’s definitely a Playboy he’s the fucking spiritual Playboy par excellence and he’s ripped and he smokes weed and everybody loves him and in everyone worships his cock because the Shiva lingam is in no uncertain terms and not in no hidden in plain sight we’re talking about the the very the quintessence of worshipping the the male genitalia and it’s sacred form here so in its Cosmic form in Union with with it was often called the lingam Yoni so I’m just really right now off the cuff just this is the this is not the most devotional way of speaking about Lord Shiva course but I think he would he would be with me and understand and really what all of these archetypal beings are is there just opportunities are invitations for I think each of us those who are seeking a masculine and divine masculine archetypes a heroic figure if it’s very much like a super heroic archetype is it that that is to be aspired to and for me again why it’s been like a softer cell for me to 210 sing his name and sing the name of this archetype is that he’s basically represents a lot of what I hold here you know and so yeah that should come as no surprise now the reason that I would say this came into my my field of course I said in a previous episode on when I did the the track psionic fumigation that was the first dabbling that I did with invocational mantras for the Divine masculine and it has the proof’s in the pudding and there’s a there’s a lot of power in that that I discovered and with this with Omniverse shivaya it was not a practice that I had of sitting around and doing singing this Mantra repeating this mantra for my own daily connection to the Divine masculine I guess you could say I could kind of take it or leave it not to be not to be rude but I think with all the mantras that they come into my life I I I don’t force them I don’t necessarily think they come in at the right time from the right source for the right purpose and and it’s not just you know willingly I would say there’s a reason for it so there’s a very beautiful backstory to why and how I started to get romanced with Shiva and with his Mantra and it was that sound well this is kind of tarantino-esque the way I’m going to deliver the story but it kind of looks that all goes back to a I think it was Valentine’s Day probably 2016 when I had a Skype date that I was ghosted on and and stood up for and I was so thrown off balance by that that I snapped and I did something that I never thought I’d be capable of doing which was to go on a a sort of global campaign to solicit women from all over the world on OkCupid and sort of build this Amalgamated outsourced cumulative rebound validation effect coming from like okay fine you know that the woman who who I trusted to do good care with my heart and soul on Valentine’s Day even when not in the same city but we could have we know we were going to just have a Skype they just talk and it was like totally flaked on so course you know I felt like I felt like a doormat or not even doormat and I felt like I just fell through the floor of reality when that happen and I had this rebound thing so I started saying okay fucking I’m going to see what it feels like to get validation from hitting up women from all over the world and maybe I’ll find you know humbler sweeter more attentive more appreciative maybe even more impoverished people who are going to like say hey this is I mean maybe I’m missing out on some economic Arbitrage here with like relate love and relationships and maybe there’s like people in the world who were like it would be that I would be there fucking like Cinderella you know I will be there Disney Dream Come True Ultimate Fantasy and maybe they would give me the time of day and maybe they wouldn’t flake on me and I would get validated and but with being trying to be careful not to exploit or abused or manipulate or or hurt or harm them but I did that that’s a huge Karma krys could I you know and and also just seems like he’ll he’ll worthless and useless why would I try to develop a long-term distance relationships whatever but now I was in a frenzy I was mad I wasn’t saying I was crushed you know how it goes and so I just said fuck it and so I went on this campaign and then I started blasting out messages searching for women all over the world continents all over the fucking world and I thought you know whoever I’m panning for gold here and I’m going to be very meditative in this process and whoever I shake out of this whoever shows up you know they were meant to be because I talk like this is hundreds of messages people all over the world you know we’ll see what we’ll see what happens so low and behold it came down to a handful of some of the most beautiful and exquisite Souls that I’ve ever met in my life so again it’s the dumbest thing of like you never know it’s neither fortunate or unfortunate when something happens and you know you got to wait for the bigger picture to unfold so I can now look that woman who stood me up for a Skype date in the eye and if she would allow me to give her a big wet sloppy kiss and thank her so much for creating a space for me to do this crazy wild thing because it opened up these new experiences and it and it connected me with these new people who work for my teachers you know all women are my teachers and and sometimes vice-versa but certainly I’m always learning from him and I don’t know if they’re like tiny for a fever but I’m always learning for women and so the one that is the Catalyst for this only way she’ll never see if I attract she was a nineteen-year-old Bangladesh Bangladeshi young woman who lived in the middle of a war zone between Hindus and Muslims mostly Muslim extreme terroristic violence having bombs going off people dying melee Carnage in the streets and she’s talking to me about how we’re talking about the Goddess were talking about how she loves to wear her sarees and we’re talking about the aspirations she has and how she can’t the difficulty that she has getting to class to go to class because of all the terrorism happening around here and it’s like okay this is humbling to any of the women who have encountered in my immediate context to have for whatever reason been flaky or distracted or insincere or looking over my shoulder because I’m have enough money or whatever it is like it’s like that at all evaporates when you come I’m going to say you and I come into contact with Truly Deeply humbling women who are in the fucking trenches of patriarchy of these deep deep levels it just makes me look at everyone who was operating on a more frivolous level and it just like whatever attachment I had to them proof if I can get some generated so this woman is like able to steal and it while I I it was easy to fall in love with her through the internet and the dialogues we had it’s just I I have it saved this is us will be part of my archives because this is so epic I mean the most fucking romantic Tyler of my life you know coming from this and in another few other women from other parts of the world but this International exploration this one this one gal here if you know she really humbled me and that the dreams she had you know God is temples and restoring the the goddess of for traditions in and creating peace and she wanted to rescue dogs and she loves dogs and so we talked about how she could be training dogs and have a animal animal sanctuary in all these things so this is the de magic of Romancing are dreaming up all the stuff but she was really suffering and really distraught and really struggling and I wish that you could be with me you know she was missing me or she was starting to and I would say this is where it gets dangerous cuz you know people will start to addicted and you got to be careful will you promise in in in your now I say I noticed that she is found healthy love and relationships are in her own enter run zip code so she’s not waiting for me by any means she’s not like I didn’t break her heart or anyting like leaving her on and I certainly don’t have the means to like support her and be her around mail-order husband or anyting but what I was able to do is make an authentic connection to talk with her and have an understanding with her and so the best thing I could do for her giving her sick and her circumstances and I were or are distances I said okay you know what I’m going to make a track for you that’s going to be the thing that you can always rely on to feel not just my love but the did the love of the Divine masculine that’s the promise of Shiva the promise of having this archetype there is that you can say the names you can invoke the names and you can have his spirits appear to you and be present for you and to love you and to be to be your your consort working for it to be a sexy fucking concert I mean a dead fucking body a dead-stick rotting and bleeding the course of that fucking expression it’s not it’s it’s not just pretty morbid and it’s not very empowering and it’s not very it’s not very juicy you know if he’s so is Shiva is very fucking juicy this guy is dancing is guys beating the drums is guys smoking fucking doobies you know he said he’s in love with the clicker goddesses all the goddesses are fucking fighting over him you know this is a way juice your guy to have in your prayers in to have his part of your erotic development and a part of your your sexual Spiritual Development so. That’s what time she is all about like having your fucking cake and eating it too thank you very much so so I invoke that archetype for her in a crate this track for her and I and I just think about will how can I how can I really afford her like she’s not really you know she’s going to Tantra school you know she’s not she’s trying to like just kidding I don’t know of engineering job or just get skip to get a fucking paying job and if she’s not doing the esoteric Sanskrit studies whatnot so I’m just trying to like be there for her say okay look this is something that I think will be helpful for you whether you know no matter what happens between me and her she can always you know drop on this archetype she can always feel this love here it is it’s it’s it’s open source public resource love that is Shiva so so she was my shoe is my best attempt to encapsulate that Essence in my words and here goes and now so in the form that you can hear the track you’ll hear my bowfin my counterpart in this music sufiyana who is my scholar of Sanskrit my true goddess devotee and embodiment who has been in and out of various tracks over the years and so she provides the female voice to this so when I say it’s like a there’s like a call and answer thing going on in the first in the verses here it goes so from my voice I say from my Shiva and she says your inner God and I say to your Shakti and she says my inner goddess and I say I will support you and she says please support me and I say when you need me and I need and she says I need you now so it sounds like this from our God to yours support you to please support me when you need when you need when you need me so that’s the dialogue between Shiva Shakti I’m saying for my Shiva to your Shakti I will support you when you need me she says your inner God that’s Shiva my inner goddess has Shakti please support me I need you now I see in the next iteration of ruse from my Shiva to your Shakti I take your pain away please take my pain away she s with Divine Healing I say and she says with your love and that the if you see what I did there that idea is it with Divine Healing and she says with your love that is Divine Healing is love love is the painting if you have it 2/8 can be reduced to 1/4 it is that right if somebody help me out here so so moving right along the chant goes into the chant om namah shivaya om namah shivaya and we’re saying the devotional terms going down giving thanks appreciation to Lord Shiva and then it gets into the deep the deeper kind of more intense part of the track and I’m saying close your eyes wherever you are take a deep breath feel my hands on your heart I hold you close from behind warmth from my breath send warmth from my breath send shivers down your spine and goes through a couple more verses and choruses and then the next Serta Bridge here goes into I turn you around look into your eyes Kundalini awaken see your smile grows wide in the moments when you feel alone remember our dance is your Eternal home so it’s pretty self-explanatory nothing super mystical there but the idea is that there are a lot of lonely women out there and not just women I don’t need to get this doesn’t need to be gendered anyway but in the context of where this came about and I would my intent was with this young woman was to say you know whatever your boyfriend did that your vengeful about that you’re having trouble forgiving and forgetting and moving on from whatever your next boyfriend may do that is unsatisfactory or disappointing however I may succeed or fail in loving you you know all of these feeble and frail and body men in your life they really will never hold a candle to this broader archetypal Essence which is the the ideal that we’ve constructed of what we believe is like infinite unconditional beautiful masculine love and they say they created hell of a hunk you know to to to make that easy on the eyes to do so lucky bastards always Hindu people who have Shiva to look up to is there you know is there a non-acidic very ecstatic very and body Very sensual very erotic very musical very psychedelic yeah I love interest so nice I feel like that is the red Tantra you’re not feeling left out in that department while I’m being stimulated and everybody is being stimulated sexually and everyone is feeling a part of a closed circuit that is meeting everyone’s needs in in and there’s no favoritism there’s no hierarchy the really so Ben and if anything I am as the man I’m on my back and that is what time trick Kali worshipping actual full fully pornographic and I hesitate to use that word was fully glorious erotic depictions of the circuitry of how this stuff works so if it’s if you’re not approve any 3 I mean if you’re not so sexually stunted then you would just understand that these icons are just road maps to the spiritual terrain of understanding the energetics of Shiva Shakti god goddess energy so we’re designing with that and we’re creating a maximum hydraulic energy flows in in in a way that is very egalitarian actually inhibits the growth of the ego and that sense of so-and-so I’ve experienced this in not that exact formation but that’s why I aspire to be a porn director so that I can I can work with people who are very comfortable taking Direction and are not going to lose their minds and so I actually had this conversation today they’re what makes me not a cult leader and what prevents me from ever becoming a cult leader is this one fundamental thing right but I have to study cold it is to know how not to be a quote later cuz otherwise I would just be cranking out so much Kool-Aid day Kool-Aid would have to invent a time to punch flavor you know I got to be sponsored by Kool-Aid the Kool-Aid man oh yeah it would have it I make my own Kool-Aid Man Township anyway after dark okay I wanted how they’ve not sued like I have all of the libelous memes and they feel bad for the Kool-Aid guy I didn’t fucking poisonous people man I don’t mean to be making fun of them and I really got to get serious about not making a joke out of the people who died in the massacre Crazy Eights it’s it’s it’s public domain now to make a joke to either the expression people say don’t drink the Kool-Aid it’s because people at Jonestown were by a charismatic cult leader who was it was an extremely right with it skips a generation maybe but that’s how memes get formed yes so I mean that’s how they sort of deprecated the roots and you say things that we don’t know how does the reason we’re numb it so they don’t drink the Kool-Aid means don’t consent to a groupthink. Virus that makes mass suicide be acceptable and so they poisoned the Kool-Aid punch and that’s how everyone can scented make give it to their kids and everyone is like this is fine and some people try to protest and they were silenced and some people try to run away and it was a nightmare and it was absolutely what I would I must not allow myself to become as a priest that uses sexual mind manipulation and coercive tactics to trade love and affection attention and orgasm for 4 unquestioning devotion into the point of suicide so that that’s the extreme case that that we that is a litmus test for if you were going down that slippery slope but I actually tend to want to study the mental illness of sociopath sociopathy narcissism and I would like to consider myself a benign I’m the benign narcissist I know that that is a character flaw that I am not how we going to like defeat by doing the past limitations as many times that night and I’m going to roll with it and I’m going to say yeah I will be like Howard Stern and I will be I’m going to if I’m going to be this personality I’m going to make a bonsai tree out of my own ego if I can and have other people help in the process but but things going going back to the to the cult thing and what me what gives me the authority to design this orgasmic Orchestra what why and how do you not just become a colder than soy everyone you meet is basically in that on that game board now how am I going to manipulate you to be in this in this position that I would like you to be in to fulfill my fantasy of engineering all this town truck stuff and and if I’m if I’m this is well that’s spit out the Kool-Aid don’t swallow I think what we’ll get to that for sure that’s going to be a we’re going to get to that but can’t forget that we’ll save that for the for the most triumphant moment the climax is when we’re going to use that it’s so precious now after it’s been built up so ever since a joke that’s going about 2 it’s going to explain come on your face it’s going to come on yesterday and you’re going to beg for it and so hits is it is I’ve had people beg me to come in the third eye and it was hard to resist but this is going to be almost as good as that sharing you this one liner inside joke and just a minute but to wrap up this sort of dark out thing that we were doing with the coal thing is that it how do you know how do I hedge against being the creepiest man every like people think that Barney the purple dinosaur because he and forgive me if I’m butchering the facts here but as far as I know he’s doing what I considered to be taboos for me which is charging women money to have sexual penetrative intercourse with them above all without protection and making that into a to me that’s not a scalable business model and you can ask your doctor wife but Barney I mean I get it and I get that that’s the love thing being cultivated generated so I think I don’t know whether I consider that good pressure bad press for modern Neo Tantra or what not but I’d love to have them on the podcast I’m sure it’s going to happen and I can’t say that I was a fan of the art form of Barney the purple dinosaur but but but I would love to get to the full story and also talked about the ethics and this medical the medical duty of care that comes with sexual and pinch of intercourse with anybody so anyway that’s the sad but who were talking about okay what if you were intrigued and maybe turned on by me talking about these erotic circuit boards then you also have to be somewhat red-flagged and starting to cringe and go where how old is this get arranged in what are the incentives and how do you how do you manage the Eagles and how do you who’s in charge it’s like you can’t it’s a scary thing but you wouldn’t work but that’s why when I went when I say what I realized for me the aha moment in my sexual career was that if I want to have out-of-the-box sex I have to pay lots of money for it from professionals who have trained her nervous system to do theater performance of sexuality as escorts or as Dom’s or as porn performers because they’re good sports they’re not spoil Sports about any of the stuff for the most part if they’re treated well and respected and then contracts are here too and they know what they’re getting into and hopefully they’ve matured and hopefully their brain has developed to its full capacity IE the age that it takes to actually I don’t say that to you exactly so you better know there’s a dimension of Ethics when it comes to harvesting teenagers for your for whatever Annette and I have had some of the best sex in my life as a 30 year old being fucked up fucked senseless by teenager in a row in a monogamous relationship and I will I will tell you that it’s it some it was worth the daddy issues that I had to deal with it was worth reparenting her and it was worth every bit of emotional kind of awkwardness that there wasn’t some of the an Amex because she was such a good full spirited Prime late night it was funny cuz I was like I want to settle you down and basically like I could teach your making a kid with ADHD sit in class is like no she wants to fuck wildly she wants you to perform more than you possibly ever could even at 30 and and she and she is not she doesn’t need these esoteric practices too heavy multi-orgasmic she’s fucking coming or brains out like so hard and I and I couldn’t sit her down the aisle still enough to do any of the practices that I thought were going to be so enlightening and went in the great thing is is it a fuck it like it is certain point you just say no guru there’s a song about it’s like no guru no no scripture No play just in the Dow of the thing so anyway so that’s a side note to say there is a sacred place for adult for fully mature brain develop adults to be having sex with teenagers and and I know that it can be done because I’ve done it but it also takes you can’t just treat them like a commodity please you got to you got to think about pedagogy Nikki learned from the person that you’re teaching teaches you things to like a circle so then so we’re talking about these ethics and where I wanted to just close that point about how I do my best to not be a cult leader I thought I figured it out pretty simply and correct me if I’m wrong but basically it’s it’s I dare you to to indict me for the the criminal and civil liability of misconduct for for for structuring a certain way so this is how I this is this is very simple as this is like this I said that this is a different the difference from a cult leader is that I’m a porn director I pay women to be directed and then I pay whoever I want to I will I will I will choose performers who I resonate with for whatever we would like to do together to make beautiful art and and I will compensate them and pay them to take time out of their lives to be a part of my design and to be directed by me they’re not paying me for healing for enlightenment for direction for guidance and I’m directing them and Meghan gratifying myself and taking their money in convincing mind fucking them and taking more of their money and more than money until they don’t talk to their friends because of and that’s how Colts are basically extractive from their students the colors are extracting from their devotees the difference is how many colors do you know that actually give their devotees money I will pay you oh now I’m making corned a porn director and I am more karmically correct than the fucking Guru who is fucking having people kiss his feet and take your money so who would have thought that the corn directors were the most enlightening Yogi’s to ever attempt to be divine and I have my favorites and I’m a fan of some of them I want I want to see the names but right now but that cuz I wouldn’t want to leave any out you know what I mean bless you all for paying people to direct them into your Twisted fucking fantasies and giving them that dignity like hats of their not wondering about it cuz there’s that was having a conversation today it’s like a buyer’s remorse if I say to you I’m just saying if you remember when you had to if you were old enough to know that there was a day when when when your allowance equals one CD for $15 so humorous if you never had experience this is important I think this is important teaching is important teachable moment is that is that and I don’t want to be today. Take care no man’s planning anything in them to have fun here but this is like this is this is late so here’s the funny thing though you think about I remember what it was like when I had to convince myself that amusing that a CD that fucking sucked was actually good because I paid money for it and I would not let myself suffer the indignity of having made a mistake so I was in a state of denial and delusion so so so feeling this isn’t meditation okay everybody think of something that you paid money for that you discovered was in the zoo is suboptimal and you used mental gymnastics to convince yourself that you actually liked it even though you knew deeply that you didn’t like it but it was called buyer’s remorse it was called the sunk cost fallacy of sunk cost fallacy is that because you invested something into this you have to continue beyond the point of no return because you can’t live with yourself other ways so that is this Twisted perverse placebo effect that happens when it’s like I went to the sex guru to get healed and he said for 9999 I would get here and but I but I could also upsell to the bonus extra double healing deluxe super Cosmic Crystal trademark excetera right thing and try before you buy money back guarantee accessories that you’re all of his legal he’s in fine print all the stuff but there is but that’s where it is we’re expecting to have some result that you paid money for and you will question whether or not okay did I was a hole in my heel did I pay enough money to pay more and some money and it is it distorts things and you did it it did contaminated in a way for that so I’m skeptical that I can be done right in that sense and that’s just me so what I say let’s work in the garden together my time equals your time and now we’re planting trees equals an hour of Yoni massage your prostate massage and therefore it’s a flat equal everybody has the same it’s his first come first serve you know and orgasms for work shirts that was my hand jobs for Humanity and helping a tree with two or so you’ll see it yeah it’s a white paper was written so is he ever gets faster so so that’s how I’m not going to be a cult leader is that I’m not going to charge people money to be Pawns in my game of or are you going to be players in my Game of Thrones Township Township twister you will get paid handsomely to be in my theater my game of Township twister and you can quit you can get any time you know that’s that’s that’s the thing to you won’t be like oh if I walk away now you know that then where I’m not like what I paid for I’m I’m already invested so much forever so so many different dynamics of of incentivization happening in this thing is so anyway that that was I think it is important to lay that out and and this is probably the first time I’ve articulated it on the podcast but I just was having this conversation today with this answer the CD metaphor thing where it’s like you know it did that it’s it’s a problem that way so so that’s I will not be extracting money from people in that in that way I’d rather pay them to be in my in my Productions and feel better about it that way so getting back to the fun stuff in the production itself so imagining that that would be the way from now on where I’m like if you want to that’s basically what I just described about that circuit of three people as a minimum to starting point is like that is the that is first base now you know that’s first base because getting into the circuitry of actual intercourse that’s where it required that’s where we get into the medical the medical responsibilities aspects and we get into more of the karmic sharing we’re really swapping scum he’s on an astral level at that point more so than if it’s an outercourse thing and you can’t go back once you know I don’t want to sound like a prepaid only sound like a six- future but but they were right about this mean you’re not wrong about everything they’ve had no sex for anybody ever. Is not the solution to people having sexually transmitted demons running rampant all over the place and it’s about making them your friends and making them work for you not against you and making them expose themselves properly and in you know where it’s not a pure realm we are not going to be perfectly protected in fear we can strive for that and we can use Kundalini and Prana and mantras and all of our medicines in purgatives and things to create a cleaner vessel to make more harmonious more resonance more signal-to-noise ratio and that is what to me this is all about and why we are missing out so badly to not be like I see this if God is wanted you got it for not created to nipples I can’t suck both nipples at the same time I tried some women I can do it on I’ve done it and you can do it some women is possible but for the most part so what does that mean what are you do do you limit God or do you just find someone else to be on the left or right side of you you know what is the big deal so when I think about this math equation how many erotic how many out of the box meaning not really the selective like subjective nuanced little erogenous zones that people get overtime in our lives but the out-of-the-box everybody is wired this way count how many erogenous zones you have and how what is the minimum number of mouse penis and genitals or fingers are human appendages required to simultaneously stimulate all those places it’s more than one person I can tell you that much you know so I just want us to start there and be creative in 2N to learn how to understand that we’re missing out and we should be wanting to gamify maximizing human potential for orgasmic pleasure because that is exorcism orgasm equals exorcism in some cultures who are Les Les Mis Sara Lee poetic about the floury discourse of symbols about sex life like a Latin American Shaman is said about her sexuality in the end in her how she explained why monogamous marriage was not really a thing in a culture that permitted extramarital sex and it was that in her mind and I am not going to say her name to cool her but I will say to paraphrase the essence of this wisdom is that to her mind it was just like an orgasm is like taking out the trash and that is not that’s not to say that it is mundane or a chore it is that it is a responsibility of hygiene in your household of your body Temple you need to have orgasms they need to be fulfilling need to get the job done and that is the exorcism aspect of it so the howling screeching all of these things that are considered that witches were burned forming figli sounds that those are the sounds of actual Holiness the set of holy the sound of Holiness is a woman’s orgasm and so let’s make those come more abundantly and let’s utilize map map the erogenous zones out of the box and then map the additional ones that are my favorite song and when you talk to me like this and this certain place I’m in the back of my head there whatever and then everyone has their own map so we can learn each other’s maps and if you don’t know your own map then you can ask people to help you there’s people who would love to lick and kiss and touch you and head to toe to find and explore you and and from a breasted state of consciousness D nice and yes I like to will you bring out the best in me that’s all I think that’s all you guys add that I can’t top that is the way to end so then really that was we didn’t even know that we put the icing on the motherfuking cake by saying you bring out the Best in Me so there was a documentary about at the peak of my desire to become a a rock star in the the crust Punk metal genre grindcore all that fun stuff I was studying that I wanted to understand and clock the music industry so I was watching every documentary I could find understanding music marketing and all the stuff and then I found this great documentary about about Jimi Hendrix and and I believe it was his fiance at a time who later became his wife if I remember correctly and she was talking about the time where he was building momentum and getting lots of gigs but still underground and she said something that stuck with me forever and if this moment which is it basically the hidden tension was used turn Express yeah we we all knew he was going to get sign or we all knew that you was going to take off he was going to blow up and so she said it was just about if someone puts put the icing on the motherfuking cake you know and I know and I felt that we we’re ready for that and we did some we had some we had some ice and get put on a motherfuking cake we did you get you always want more but I look back and I don’t think we could handle more so we got what we got and now I’m on a different I have a different cake I have a different cake mix and I don’t know if it’s that time I don’t know if it’s time to put the icing on the cake or not yeah I don’t know I mean the cake it’s getting cold she heard it mean if you’d if anyone has icing out there can it please be stevia-sweetened go Steven Johnson I don’t know how to hack them will work on that today I know it’s actually what I heard is that it’s a weird additive that they used to cut it because it’s so super sweet that you would basically died of sweetness if you didn’t like the step on it with some other things so I think that’s why I love growing Stevia and having a leaf to munch on and put in the tea because then you know is nothing else being put into it and it’s just as powerful you don’t really need to if you had the the live leaves one leaf enough will be enough to knock your head off for an hour so yeah I know on that snow yeah we’re going to put this devious fresh leave puree motherfuking icing on the cake I will put the icing on my own motherfuking cake that reminds me in 1 minute I just when I thought we couldn’t go out with a bigger bang this is going to be at because there was a a ritual ceremonial I called we called apart emoni where was the Psychedelic birthday party and we smeared cake all over each other and had to basically devour for the birthday gal of her own cake and it was just nipples and asses and I wanted to be in after from there I was my breasts Elsa. Playing for sure that brother and brother best me for sure but that when I got to put the icing on cake my damn self so don’t let anyone fucking tell you that you’re not none of me if you feel like it I mean I think we’re done I just can’t I’m going to fucking drop my phone right now when I might drop my phone on the couch citizen of the count but oh shit it’s next level add icy Cipher geise that’s going to have some cake with that icing okay thank you for listening to the touch upon podcast please go to www.drudgereport.com and cook on the Donate button to help support the show in addition is to see me and if you want a podcast for donations will help establish permaculture goddess temples every bite ecological employment for single mothers Please Subscribe and share your favorite episodes if you have questions or comments feel free to leave a voicemail at 818-275-1593 or email been at Tantra Punk.
